What has happened to Grant Street to begin with? The businesses and their parking lots are pathetic. Who is responsible for improving the parking lots of these places? Talking about revitalizing downtown, dont forget the Odessa College area. I swear if I were a student wanting to attend this junior college, and observed it from Grant Street, I would run as fast as I could. Big Lots did not have much to offer; workers with no customer service training, and overall, it was sad. I walked out without buying anything vowing not to return.

Its Big Lots and I dont expect to find a tidy store, but the staff is always friendly and they do have a lot of things at a reasonable price. Im in town from CA and I went there to buy my moms favorite cookies - Annas ginger snaps from Sweden. The box reads if it breaks into three pieces your wish will come true. They are thin and crispy! Its hard to find these cookies.

I orderered online and picked up here. The pick up process was smooth. Only 1/5 item got canceled. Cashiers were helpful.

Store could use a little cosmetic work. Other than that. Wonderful, nice, helpful employees!! Always have a great customer service experience! An pretty much always find what we need. Great job guys!! :)

Went to exchange an item with no receipt. They charge $5 because of no receipt. No problem. But the clerk had it all messed up to where I was paying full price for exchanged item. Plus Id paid full price on original item. She had another clerk help get it figured out. So in the end I got items switched to where I only paid the $5. And she learned how to exchange items without receipts.

Ive purchased alot of items from there and the prices are reasonable. Alot of different snacks. Store is always orderly and clean. Friendly and helpful cashiers.

Found furniture that both my husband and I liked and wanted to purchase. But not as advertised. It said they deliver on their ad but then found out they actually do not. False advertising. So unfortunately, we did not purchase the furniture. Its disappointing how a company can post with sign in store but then say no, Im sorry. We dont deliver.

Love the location and the convenience of this store! We live right around the corner and we got some additional furniture from Big Lots as we moved from an apartment and it had everything we possibly needed “furniture wise”! Touché BL touché.

Sad to say,the place was a big mess. No items in stock. Shelves look empty throughout. Use to be a great place at one time. Sry guys

Took 30 minutes for guy in furniture department to help us. When he finally did help - he told us that he wanted to get it over with because we were his last customers for the day so he could go home.He just wanted to hide out in the back room and not help anyone before going home.

Went in and was greeted right away. Was helped when needed and the staff was awesome. Couldnt complain if I wanted to.

Most of my experiences with the furniture I have bought over the years at Biglots has been good. The last time was May around the 17 or 18. I bought 2 recliner chairs the WORST ever. Five hundred fifty two dollars and they are falling apart. I am stick with 2 hunks of junk!

Be careful if you get furniture from here. Bought a dinning room table set. Brand new out of box it had small chips out of 2 corners and the screws for the chairs dont fit. I had to go buy longer screws. When I called to exchange, I was told I couldnt do it because I had thrown box away. Its sad that you pay 400 and cant get a decent piece of furniture. I did buy a Sealy perfect sleeper bed. Its amazing. Just sad about my dining room set

Great place to shop for certain items. I even buy nuts and coffee sometimes there and Italian gnocchi there. Pots pans and furniture are also there.

Big lots is a good place to shop they have a lot of stuff for your backyard la in your front yard the nice thing for your home to but my only complaint I have is the employees in the store and need to learn where the product is that so they can tell a customer when the customer comes into shop stead of telling them they dont know thats not good.

Poorly run store and it shows. This store has a lot of stuff, but for some reason I cant ever find what Im looking for. Everytime I go it is so trashed that you cant even walk down some aisles. Im surprised someone hasnt tripped over something and broken an arm or leg yet. Very dangerous. I cant ever find anybody to help me and the store smells like a sewer. Ever once in a while Ill see the manager and ask him for help locating something and he sighs and just points to the location to where it might be. And its never where he says. I go back to find him and he disappears. He really hates his job and it shows. The one in Midland is great. You actually get employees that will come up to you and ask you if you need help finding something. And they always have everything Im looking for. As for the Odessa store, I wouldnt be the least bit surprised if it were to be closed sometime in the near future.

Disorganized; watch the prices because some deals are more than other stores. But you can find some unique things here that you cant find anywhere else.The personnel were helpful and courteous.

Has some nifty bluetooth speakers and cell gadgets for dirt cheap. Good prices on everyday stuff and much easier to deal with then Walmart. Staff is very helpful and courteous.

Rundown but still a great store. You can always find something to buy there and the wait in line is never long and when it is they call for help immediately. Sometimes the shelves seem empty but i guess that is to be expected with living in odessa.

The store can be a little unorganized and messy but its a good store in general. They have great selections when it comes to holiday decorations, knick knacks and gifts. The prices are not steep either.

Furniture selection okay. Bathrooms were disgusting. I know public bathrooms are very hard to keep clean. But this bathroom no toliet paper. But no excuse for stool smeared on walls and trash over flowing which seems to have accumulated for over an extended amount of time. Other details are too horrible to mention.
