Nothing special, gift bag choices are slim to none. The store looked pretty ravished and only one girl working. There is always a line. Its sad because thats how most places are these days. You cant really blame the workers too much. 5 below would be a better option to this

Was awful. Very understaffed and the only cashier Neal was very rude and inconsiderate of my items.Got home to realize a few of my items were broken,I can only assume it was bechet was throwing my items.In my opinion zero stars

Nothing is ever there ALL of the time, but most things are there most of the time. They have a great selection and often you can find name brand items on the shelves. Laundry soap Ive bought there works great, but for powdered bleach and hand soap you can usually get them cheaper at meijers

Okemos dollar tree has the best selection of everything in the Lansing area.

Pretty good selection, you need it? They have it. But very unprofessional staff. A manager woman was talking to another employee about how much she hates a new hire infront of me and my husband. And then proceeded to talk to herself once the woman was gone and kept saying how much she hated her job and how badly they treat her... very unprofessional to say infront of guests while there’s signs of hiring all over your store. Poor woman, makes me want to be able to fire her because according to her no one else will.

Can always find something I need or just cant do without here. They have their Halloween and Christmas stuff out already. Fun to think about the holidays after the rather rough year. 🙂

I love the dollar tree! You will find lots of useful and cheap things there. What is unique about this dollar tree is that the staff is very friendly and willing to help. I had trouble finding an item and when we couldn’t find it I decided to just check out. As I was leaving the store one of the employees flagged me down to tell me that she had found my item! Yay! I am very happy w today and all past encounters here at this store. It is a bit unorganized but I think that might be due to customers. Some really great finds here are cheap kitchen utensils, plates, bowls, and cups! Thank you dollar tree!!

I was a terrible experience be careful buyers beware when youre at the counter ringing up your items make sure your stuff is separate from any other person checking out before you today I experienced a cash register to run up my stuff with another customer stuff and had to separate it

Everything here is one dollar so you get what you pay for. Some of the stuff is surprisingly good quality. The store itself is a bit rundown inside at times but the staff is friendly. The store is good about having seasonal and holiday decorations and also has some food.

I love this dollar tree! They always have plenty of items in stock. I always get what I want, even though I sometimes have to be creative. They have an excellent healthcare row, with many expensive items (like pregnancy tests, ibuprofen, baby bottom cream, etc), and one of the best candy rows in town. The best thing is that they dont sell expired items and everything in the store is $1 or less!

Its a decent sized Dollar Tree but it feels cramped. There are lots of open, empty boxes in the aisles everytime we go there. They usually are slow with lines as well due to only have 1 cashier at a time or so it seems.

Usually a long line and its not worth my time to go to this Dollar Tree location. This Dollar Tree in Okemos is dirty, always a disorganized mess, and the employees arent helpful- theyre usually outside the front doors smoking in between checking people out, there are long lines that take forever to check out, and the smoke comes inside the store making it hard to breathe. Its really a shame because it seems like it would be a nicer store for that side of town. The management at the Okemos location is terrible. You know its a management issue when there are dollar trees in the area that are nice, clean, and have a friendly staff like the one in DeWitt. We drive a little further to avoid the Okemos store altogether.

I really like the store but perhaps the employees should have the option of being laid off. The entire time I was there the two cashiers were loudly talking back and forth about how the customers are putting their lifes at risk by shopping and they do not agree with being an essential store. I am all about people having their opinions and understand that everyone is scared, however it should not be discussed in the manner it was in front of the customers.

I used to be an employee, i left on good terms, and shop dollartree 1 time every 2 week. Dollartree is one of those stores that do substantial business in food stamps. Rice is almost 40% less than local stores. Yesterday, purchased frozen blueberries, a bout 1.50. A pound, kroger $3 fresh. I buy tools, and now crafts. Knitting needles $1, joannes $3 for same. Little glass bottles, 4 bottles $1, hobby lobby 4 bottles $5.95. Since every time i visit craft section, its empty, i expect Dollartree to increase this sort of product line. Small acrylic paint brushes, hobby lobby $3.50, $1.

The store is clean & staff are friendly

They allow trashy people in without masks. No social distancing. Absolutely disgusting place.

This dollar tree has some amazing finds! Jiff peanut butter to go, lots of diverse movie theater candy, great name brand cleaning supplies, a neat craft area, and the best place for gift tissue and bags for a very reasonable price. They do sometimes have long lines.

We were able to find what we were looking for. Store was clean. Store has a much bigger selection then most other dollar stores. Employees were pleasant. And... the $1 price tag wasnt bad either.

First time here and you can truly find anything here. Its huge and im impressed. I honestly probably wouldnt get food items or medicine but for everything else, its perfect.

Yes items are a bit dishevled, but the staff is nice. It seems clean, though admittedly cluttered. A great place to go and of course cheap. Huge store too!

Called and spoke to someone who told me I could return an un-used unopened item in store, even though I can not find my receipt.. Drove to the store and had two associates tell me I can only do an exchange and there is no way for me to get my money back. I explained that I called and spoke to someone and they told me they had no idea who I spoke to then told me maybe I called the wrong store. After verifying the phone number I called was in fact their store they proceeded to tell me that they had not heard the phone ring. Showed them I had called 14 minutes ago. After that, they presumed it was another associate that was working and instead of going and getting her proceeded to again tell me there was nothing they could do. The manager also felt the need to tell me maybe I had misunderstood the person on the phone. Horrible customer service.

Shelves always stocked and full. Great prices. Some things are very cheaply made but for a buck cant complain. Check out isnt fast but they are likely getting minimum wage. Great selection and size for a dollar store.

Lovely vibe I found ice cream bars coffee duct tape a hacksaw Paracord and a tarp. It was nice being able to find everything I needed for 1$

Its the Dollar tree so you know what to expect. Good place to get stuff cheap. The only downside is they always seem understaffed. Just accept the fact its going to take some time to check out, there is nothing you can do about it.

I love this store, so many neat things that I find. And everything is just a dollar. They have the cutest solar nic nacks that I have ever seen. Now I have a collection of them. The people who work there are really nice, the store is clean. I wish more stores were like this one.

My go to place for stuff that costs $1 there and 3x or more elsewhere

Loved it. Didnt have much money and I needed frosting for a cake plus another item and I didnt think Id find frosting there, but I did !!! Thank you for having so much in your store for people like me that may need something but dont have a whole lotta money. I give you 5 stars.

This place can really use an overhaul in organization, including more helpful signs, and about a dozen more staff. I needed help, but the only staff to be found were checking out or shopping themselves off duty, at the moment. Its a relatively huge dollar store with what must be thousands of items, so people in a eush or just not into searching or strolling for what seems like miles, choose some place else.

The store is always a mess merchandise falling off onto the floor nobody picks it up young clerks not friendly I prefer the older clerks to wait on me. I like the one in St.Johns always orderly and neat.It Falls on the management You truly can tell the difference

What gives its place for stars except for the lot has traders in the concrete and the building needs a coat of paint it looks run down but the workers are extremely Pleasant and seems to be very helpful and knowledgeable about their work and the job that they do help me find what I needed I was in and out and the prices as they say Dollar Tree

There were no carts. Im disabled & 2 other people needing cards had to wait 4-6 mins to get one. It wasnt all that busy there should have been plenty of carts. Check out line was long. I was #7 in line with many more behind me??? Its a big time waster.

Its nice to find a dollar store that still sells items for a dollar. The people who work here are nice the item selection is very large especially compared to what you would find in other stores

Im new to the era and I know that this isnt the fault of the Dollar Tree but shame on the ignorant Caucasian girl that casually walked up to me and asked me Do you guys have... making the assumption that I work there. I obviously had my car keys, American Express card and my navy blue scrubs on and I hope she felt ashamed of herself and embarrassed when I basically yelled at her saying that I dont work there and am NOT even in uniform! Thats VERY prejudice. Not something I expected to experience my very first time shopping at this location as an out of towner.

This is my favorite Dollar Tree. the one in the plaza off MLK. its always clean and organized and the staff are friendly and ready to help you.

IDK why....but we love this store. It is disorganized, the bathrooms are gross, and the staff is not the friendliest ppl on the planet.....but damn you can get some good deals, we discovered their nail polish is better than the $15 a bottle stuff we get at Ulta, and the coconut shampoo and conditioner is amazing.....great place to pick up decorations for a party too.

We always find so many great items at this store. You might not think that it offers high quality but we have found amazing things here that we never would have thought we would have and you cannot beat the price!

I do not normally shop at dollar stores but this place is well worth the occasional visit. Best deal on glow sticks and automotive stuff like a bottle of tireshine spray which would normally go for $5 anywhere else is only a $1!!!
