I called your Okemos location to see if they were pretty stocked in their homecoming selection.. The lady that answered didnt say her name, however said they were busy and I needed to come into the store and hung up. I tried to call back and no answer. I only asked because its an 1.5 hour drive to the store. I checked the store hours online for the following day and it said 12 to 6. I ended up getting to the mall around 130.. There were numerous people standing outside wondering what was going on because the store was still closed up, with the lights off. I tried to call the store, along with the mall and no answer. I would not recommend Windsor to anyone, due to poor customer service. They wasted 3 hours of my day sitting in a vehicle for nothing.I have already did a Facebook review, along with a review on your website also.

I demand that the store surveillance footage be reviewed.With homecoming approaching, my daughter and I set out to look for a dress in the mall yesterday. She heard from her friends about Windsor, a totally unfamiliar name to us, and although with comments of poor customer service going around, we decided to check it out. It wouldn’t hurt, right?We went in the store, and right away we saw girls from the same school also there looking for homecoming dresses. I had a pleasant conversation with another customer while waiting outside the fitting room.My daughter finally decided on one particular dress (Isabella Lace-Up Back Skater Dress) but that one was not in the best condition likely from being tried on numerous times. Unfortunately it was the only one available in the store. A girl working there told us they could order one for us, but she didn’t know how yet. We were directed to talk to another girl about ordering.After waiting for a while for the other girl, she came out from the back room. I approached her with an “Excuse me,” and, wait a minute, did I see a look of “why are you bothering me” on her face? “That can’t be it. She is probably just busy,” I thought to myself.She said yeah she could order for us and WALKED AWAY, continuing on with her important task. A quick response of “I’ll be there with you in a couple minutes” would have been nice by the way.Here’s the climax or more suitable of what went downhill from there: while patiently waiting for her to slowly finish what she was doing so she could help us, my daughter and I browsed the racks and shelves NEXT TO (I) and feet away IN FRONT OF (my daughter) the checkout counter. All of a sudden, she turned around and yelled: “You can’t go back there!” My daughter and I looked at each other, puzzled, “Back where?” I asked. No answer.After a moment, I figured she probably meant the counter/cash register. Trying to assure her that we were not anywhere near it, I walked up to her and quickly explained. She stared at me and said nothing.FINALLY she came back to the counter, and I explained again where we were—not near, and definitely not behind the counter. Her response was a nonchalant “ok.” Then she asked if we wanted to order. I decided right at the very last 0.5 second on “no.” Her response was an abrupt “ok,” accompanied with another nonchalant look.Before we left the store, I did get her name, KIM.As we were walking towards the door, I could see her cracking jokes with that other girl, likely about us.We then went to Macy’s and bought our dress. It was quite a bit more money, but a good experience and my sanity was well worth the extra cost!I demand that the store surveillance footage be reviewed. The incident happened between around 15:30-16:00 on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at the Meridian Mall (Michigan) location.I will not be buying anything from Windsor, ever. Our very first visit was going to be our last.In addition, I want people to know about my first-hand experience. The bad reputation of poor customer service of Windsor is not a rumor. Our choice (of not giving them the business) is our voice and power as customers.I hope that, above all, we were not treated that way because we were wearing masks (Kim was not) and/or that we were minority.In the end, it did hurt.The fun of going dress-shopping was hurt.The belief in the existence of basic customer service in a fad fashion store was hurt.

Terrible in store customer service. Which is too bad, because the first employee to help me out was very kind and helpful. However, I asked for assistance from what looked like the manager, and she didnt even acknowledge me, she just turned away from me and demanded another employee to open the dressing room for me. I had already been waiting in line for a dressing room for about 25 minutes. They have many nice dress options for all categories of events. I put a couple dresses on hold to think it over. I decided that I didnt want them. I called within a couple hours to tell them I wouldnt be picking them up. I thought that would be appreciated so they can put them back on the floor. Whoever I talked to just said ok, so I hung up. She didnt say thank you. She didnt ask for a name. There was an awkward pause as I waited for her to ask what the name was under. Just plain rude.

I honestly think things here are overpriced for the clothes but this store is great for finding dresses for events. Also, there is a worker here who Im not sure if she is the manager or what, but she is SO insanely friendly and helpful. Wish I knew her name to give her the proper recognition she deserves because shes awesome!

Sunday...prom shopping. Store nor open???

Excellent sales reps and nice selection! Even affordable dresses for those who dont want to spend $300 for a dress thats worn one time!

App locks up my phone which operates at 4 gs of ram. Purchased merchandise for my daughters birthday on Saturday of which I had to return a pair of shoes she never wore. Refund was not available because store policy doesnt allow a funded cash drawer upon opening. In other words theyre broke until someone makes a purchase. I have to wait til someone buys something before I can get my money back. I live in Battle Creek.

Poorly made dresses. Poor assistance in the store. Music is loud and obnoxious.

Horrible customer service! Hung up the phone on me and won’t answer my phone call back! Can’t get a hold of the manager. whoever hung up was very rude unresponsinble and wasted my time by getting my order wrong twice!!! Everyone in this store should be fired 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 🤬🖕🏼

I am only giving 3 stars because of the lack of dressing rooms which caused major congestion. We went here to buy my daughters homecoming dress and the line to the dressing room was literally all the way across the store. Not to mention folks who had a dressing room had someone bringing them more and more dresses to try which is normal with ladies lol but it did not help the wait time for the dressing rooms so if going during the busy seasons be aware of this and possibly be more concious of others time as well and get back in line to try stuff you did not originally bring in with you. This would probaly help with the wait time as well. I personally plan ahead and if Im unsure of a size I grab the next size up and next size down just incase. They did however have fantastic prices and a very good variety of dresses. The staff was very helpful and friendly expecially when the store was as crazy busy as it was. I would suggest they invest in a bigger location so they could add more dressing rooms and eliminate a good portion of the congestion. I will definitely go back for formal dresses they also had really cute everyday clothes.

I would never buy a dress from here again. Cheap material. Workers are incredibly rude. I was told I had 14 days to return but when I took it back was told it was not refundable.
