G W & Son Auto Body did an excellent job on my Tesla Model S. They made sure I dropped it off with my charger and over the time they had it they charged it twice. I kept an eye on the battery because of other Tesla reviews, but they never let it fall below 100 miles. My insurance company was being very difficult through the whole process but Gary handled everything for me. I honestly cant tell it was in an accident. they communicated throughout the whole process so I was never left out if the loop.
I had an accident and Christie at GW & Son went well above what she needed to do to help me. These people here are very professional and know what theyre doing for sure. Hopefully I dont have an accident again but if I do I will take all my work to them. Thank you again Christie for your help you are a lifesaver

Please take my advice and NEVER do business here!! They are the worst. Kristy in the body shop is awful at communicating with customers, it takes her days to answer texts or phone calls. She has strung us along for 13 weeks, blaming everyone BUT HERSELF, on why our car has not been repaired. They even lied to our insurance company to get a payment without the car even being scheduled for repairs! We have canceled payment on the check and found a new body shop,Save 13 weeks of your life and use ANY company except this one!
This is the best body shop in town. If you have a specialty car it may be the only one certified for you. But even with standard cars they provide the best restoration service I’ve experienced. It often takes a little longer with their repairs. I think because they are meticulous. And, they have even saved me money and time on a repair the insurance’s “preferred” shop didn’t realize was less severe. I was able to pay out of pocket and save my deductible. Great staff. I’ve been using them for 15 years and will keep coming back.
I dropped off my car for an estimate. Insurance totaled the car so GW did not get to do the work. GW was kind enough to mail me my license plate even though they made no money at all. Really great people!
Everyone that I met with was very professional and helpful. All answers were answered quickly and in full detail. If I ever needs another body sop to take care of my vehicle, this is the only place I will take it.

I had a good experience with the body shop. I brought in my damaged Mercedes GLK350. They did an excellent job in repairing the tailgate, bumper, and quarter panel. They worked well with my insurance company. The repairs did take little more time than expected, but I have another car to drive so it was no issue for me. Overall, good service, excellent body repair, and friendly atmosphere.

TESLA OWNERS! Please read ❤️ After our first trip here they messed up our paint job. We came back to give a second chance after the owner insured my husband that he would personally take care of our next service. He left my husbands Tesla unplugged and let it DIE. When a Tesla battery gets to 0%, damage is permanently done to the battery. Tesla has confirmed that he will need a new battery and is sending a mobile tech to resolve the issue. The owner of GW & Son has done nothing to make the situation right. This is a certified Tesla repair shop so we had hoped they would be able to remember to plug the car in

I took my tesla in for a repair to the front fender and bumper cover. They coordinated with my insurance and were able to get it back as good as new. During the walk around and check when I picked it up a couple sensors were off but they fixed it when I pointed it out. It took a couple weeks, but it’s a Tesla so what ya gonna do.
TELSA OWNERS BEWARE! I have now had two bad experiences with GW & Son. The first experience I received a car that had over sprayed paint in some areas, unsprayed paint in some areas and clear coat drips on the side of my door. All of these things missed their quality control. The owner Gary, told me this was not a normal customer experience with his company and said he hoped I would give him another chance for future work. I did give him another chance and he let me down again. He forgot to plug my car in over a long holiday weekend and it reached zero charge which Telsa has said can permanently damage the battery. The only reason it was plugged in was because I got notifications on my app and let the team know on Saturday and Sunday. If I had not helped the GW & Son team do their job my battery wouldnt have been plugged in until Monday when they got back to the office. I took the car to them because they were the Tesla certified shop and they didnt do the one thing a shop like theirs should know to do. I told Gary I didnt feel like it was right for me to pay my full deductible of $500 because of the continued bad experience and service with this shop. (hes done about $16,000 worth of repairs for me) He told me that Im never taking it back to him anyway so theres no reason he should give me a 5% discount on my work and he will hold my car until I pay up. Avoid this shop at all costs. They dont do good work and they dont know how to make things right when they mess up over and over and over. I had to come down to the shop on three separate occasions during this repair because they didnt write down things like serial numbers or take the proper pictures the first few times.

Extremely slow workmanship. The damage was repaired nicedly, but took10 weeks to repair a small dent on the rear fender. Definitely price gouged the insurance company as there is no way that it cost over $11k to repair the dent. Received no calls about updates in the process which forced me to call. Had to play mediator between the body shop and the insurance company to get the process moving. Tesla was great however! Delivered parts to the body shop extremely quickly and received e-mail updates whenever there was an update in the part status. Body shop also left the interior of my Tesla in worse condition than when I received it with grease stains on the inside and fluid spills. Would not recommend this body shop to anyone.
Super user friendly, answered all my questions and was willing to work with me since I was paying out of pocket for the repairs. Will post before and after photos soon.
Returned our car back to original. Completed on time and we had once small area to touch up and they did it immediately with no questions. They have a 100% lifetime guarantee on their work and you cant beat that. One of the few places that are certified on high end foreign cars.
Don’t waste your time, I hear they do good work but they’re a nightmare to deal with, completely disorganized and rude. When you go inside they have a TV blaring and are more interested in what Dr. Oz has to say than taking care of customers. I had an estimate done and approved over email, I waited two weeks to get in only to discover they’d never scheduled me and they could care less. Awful.

Apparently this body shop is the only shop in a “6 state area” with a licensed mechanic to repair Mercedes, which is incredibly unfortunate because they know it and take advantage of that fact. I had a HORRIBLE experience from start to finish at GW. My first interaction was with one of the office people who told me a story about how a hotel he stayed at in Mississippi was robbed by some “colored” people and to watch out for them when I visited. The rest was just downhill from there. They are unorganized and unprofessional. My car needed to be repaired so parts were ordered, the front desk person called me to schedule a time to bring in my vehicle without the parts arriving yet and no known date of arrival. Then when the parts did arrive I dropped off my vehicle before they opened at 8am being told my car would be ready same day. When I dropped off my vehicle I let them know the payment would be made by the responsible party of the accident and they spoke with that person/attorney over the phone. I let them know that they would need to get payment in full from him and they spoke with him to confirm he would be paying and let me know it would not hold up my vehicle from being picked up when it was ready (I asked specifically about this). I wasn’t called until afternoon that day [when they went to start on my vehicle] that they didn’t have the right parts and I’d need to come pick it up and bring it back when they arrived. I checked to see if the parts had come in yet multiple times over the next month and was treated poorly over the phone, then finally received a call that they were there. I dropped off my vehicle again that morning, then was called when it was ready to be picked up. Apparently they did not check their notes and demanded payment from me to release the vehicle. I let them know they had already spoken to the responsible party and were supposed to have gotten payment from him, and would not give me my car. They had no remorse for any of their incompetence or disorganization.
They do quality work, however they are not timely or informative in the least. I would not recommend g&w to any friend (or enemy). Krissie(chrissy*?), supposedly the one in charge according to front desk, cannot make a moment to take a phone call or inform about the status of two of my vehicles I have taken in a month ago. The most information I have received when asking for an update is that they do not know. Again, i would not recommend them despite their quality work. They are a pain to try to communicate with and have a terrible customer information management style.

I was involved in a car accident on Nov 16 2019 were I got rear-ended in my 2018 C300 custom Mercedes, The Dealership suggested I take my car to GW & Son so I did. But to my surprise the customer service was terrible I sent several emails trying to find out about the repair of my vehicle that had been sitting there for over a month Dec 20 2019 and got not one response back, then I decided to go up to the shop and the receptionist was clueless and disrespectful etc... I could on forever but I will just say they are a certified Benz repair shop but there are others here in OKC you can give your business to.
I am very impressed with the work quality that G W & Son Auto Body Shop performed. The paint, fit and finish were like factory. They even washed my car with great detail. The price was better than two other estimates I received elsewhere. I highly recommend them.
I was considering GW and Sons, but after two previous bad experiences, I will never go back! I took my SL 230 to have under door panel damage repaired. I got the car back and noticed grass stuck to the area they repaired. The area was sticky, whatever product or procedure they used, the panel did not cure properly, They evidently dont check their own work before delivery! They did make nit right
GW & Son does Excellent Work and has Superb Customer Service.After reading other reviews I was concerned but I knew it was the only place that was certified to work on my Mercedes.My suggestion would be to ask for email correspondence.I received multiple emails keeping me updated on the status of my car.The finished work was great and my car looks as good as the day I bought it.Good job all the way around!
These guys are great! My repairs were completely awesome and everything I expected. Its expensive but you get whats you pay for. If you want quality work with no shortcuts taken then this is the spot. Got my AMG looking good!
TERRIBLE. There is no way they are the only certified auto body shop for Mercedes Benz in OKC... slow slow slow... took them 10 weeks to complete a $3000 repair... then inflated the $3000 repair to $7000 to overcharge my insurance. I am so disappointed in Mercedes Benz of OKC for recommending them.

The Mercedes dealer recommended GW & Sons. I brought my GLC300 Coupe in to get an estimate to repair my exhaust tip that was pushed in by another car rolling into me in a parking garage. The person helping me looked at it and decided to get a some tools and see if he could put it back into position. He did and it looked just like new. I asked what I owed them and he said nothing. I was in and out in about 15 min. If I ever need body work again I will be back.
Beware!!!!Don’t let the Luxury car certified fool you. This is a sub-par auto body shop. Original estimate was $3K, final estimate over $12K. They had my car for 71days. Repeatedly gave false deadline and commented” they were only human”. Paint didn’t match, molding not properly installed, trash in paint, painted over decals, car was extremely dirty. Said that my car would be kept indoors, but wheel rotors were rusted when I received car with water spots on hood. This car has been garage kept since it was new. They still owe me parts that have not been received yet going on 3 months

I had one of our Smart cars in for $650 worth of damage done to the vehicle. After several weeks they sent a revised estimate to the insurance company for $2,900 and didnt notify us about what the other damages were and what we wanted to have done. After 5 weeks they said the car was ready but we had to bring it back for a new rim because they ordered the wrong one, Rim !!! what was wrong with the rim, when I went in to ask them about all the charges they go real defensive and said no on ever want to know what wrong they just want it fixed. I explained that I owned the car, not them or the insurance company and I would like to know, their office manager came out with the paper work and tried to explain to me then she started yelling at me, calling me a smart ass and an ass hole, at that point I knew it was time to leave, I told her that was real professional yelling at me and calling me names. she was still yelling at me as I was walking to the parking lot to get in my car and leave. She was running after me telling me to take my god dam car, I explained I couldnt drive to cars at once and waived her off and drove away.

I dropped my car off here and after TWO weeks of hearing nothing and no return calls I left a very clear voice mail demanding a return call with a status to my car and all I get is an email stating that they havent ordered the parts yet and they would need to have their sister shop ABR do the repairs. I have had a similar experience with ABR and its been a month and still no car and I only know the status of my car because I have had to call them daily. I would not recommend any of these places.

Apparently this outfit is the only certified body shop for several makes of luxury autos in the entire state. Seemingly as a result of this fact they do not feel the need to do timely repairs or communicate with their customers re the status of the repair work. I took my MINI Cooper in for work on September 1st, it is now October 15th and I am hopeful the car may be ready to be picked up today. Forty-five days, a month and a half. No one from G W & Son called to explain why the repair was taking so long. We always had to call them. Not until last week when we were told the car would be ready on Friday and it was not and I called to complain did Christy, the office manager, say that she would call this week with an update (she did finally call). When asked why there was no communication for over a month her excuse was that she had some sort of ankle injury. Surely, there are other workers in the office that can make a simple courtesy phone call. A month and and half is simply too long for this repair, all I hear are excuses as to why the delay, no responsibility on their part. I am quite certain that if I had not become upset then the car would probably still not be ready. The insurance company and the auto dealer both say that this is typical for G W & Son. I strongly recommend avoiding this company.
