I had been told by a dealership shop that I needed almost $3000 of transmission work. This was only AFTER I told them about a puddle of fluid I found on my driveway. Before I told them that, their service report showed everything was fine. I checked online &, based on other reviews, I took my vehicle in to Mr. Transmission Milex for a 2nd opinion. Turns out the fluid on my driveway was from an oil leak caused by the dealership shop failing to properly tighten the oil filter when they did my last oil change. I sincerely appreciate the honesty & integrity of Mr. Transmission Milex and will be using them exclusively for all my future automotive maintenance & repair needs.

Ill be coming to this mechanic for the rest of my life. They are dependable, fair, honest, and dont talk down to you. They helped me pick my most recent car based on my needs. So far it is cheaper and more reliable than the Toyota I used to swear by. I was prepared to sacrifice on either cost or time for repairs, but honestly they are fast and do not overcharge.

Roman and Curtis were great to work with... I had to reschedule my drop off due to weather, and they were still able to keep me in the weekly schedule. Most shops will bump you weeks if you miss, kinda like the Docs. Promised repairs were completed on-time, and on-budget. Named a Transmission shop, but they do it all very professionally. I have used these guys for all of my repairs (large and small) for the past 3 years. I am so glad I randomly found them. They are totally dependable. My estimates have always been exact. They willl usually get me in within a day or two, and rarely have my vehicle more than one day. All the guys in here are really nice to talk to. I have zero complaints and I highly recommend them.

Very professional in everything they did. They kept in contact with me and gave me best case and worst case scenarios. My transmission gave out in OKC Sunday at 8pm. On a leap of faith from Google reviews i had the tow company bring here. They were curtious and understanding of every thing i had going on. They fixed a couple other problems i had along with my transmission and kept it a reasonable price. Biggest thing to me, they kept in contact with me on every step. I just barely got it home to Indiana this evening and my truck drove like a champ. Better than it did when I bought it.

Ive been coming here for years, always the best service and quality. They just recently looked over two of my cars and instead of just fixing the cars they looked them over and suggested I do not fix the cars due to the year of the cars and price it would take to fix them. They suggested I take that money and buy something different that wouldnt have problems like those cars. They actually offered to sell me car cause I am looking for one unfortunately I couldnt purchase it cause I need something thats going to be better on gas. Since taking my car to Milex 2 yrs ago for break service, I havent used another mechanic. My wife and I are from the Austin Texas area. Her 2016 Mustang was making an extremely weird noise while turning first thing in the morning. Naturally it was out of warranty. A search for the possible cause online returned nothing but a sour stomach. She took it to Mr. Transmission, and Roman said they could take a look right then and there. Instead of what I expected to be an extensive repair with great cost they told her it was simple repair and had us fixed under $100. These guys will take care of you, and treat you right. Has worked on multiple vehicles for me, all with multiple issues. Their prices are very fair and the work proformed is perfect. If your looking for a mechanic you can trust this is it.

Brought my car in on Monday for a new clutch. Got a repair estimate of $1200, around $1400 if we have to replace the flywheel, and was told the car would be ready on Tuesday.Shop calls on Wednesday morning to inform me that they ordered the wrong part. They offer to have the correct part sent overnight for $100 AT MY EXPENSE to get the car repaired by Thursday. Otherwise, theyll have it by Monday. Im renting a car this whole time, so yes, rushing the part is the better option, but charging me for this mistake takes some chutzpah.Picked up the car on Thursday. Invoice is for $1,576 plus tax.I dont like to dicker over prices. I expect to be treated fairly in the first place. Ill look for another shop next time.

Had to get my transmission replaced but Curtis and Roman were super friendly and helpful. They even told me to bring my car back after 10 days since it basically had open heart surgery (no additional charge) just to make sure everything is still going good.

The team at Mr. Transmission are really great to work with. As my truck has reached 150,000 miles it has needed some maintenance and an odd repair. Roman and his staff have been great to work with and I feel like a valued customer every time Im in the shop or they call to discuss an issue with me.Their hourly rate is very fair and unlike many shops they offer the ability for you to purchase the parts yourself and theyll install them for you.

Milex Mr Transmission saved me thousands of dollars, I mean thousands. I took my car to the dealer and they missed diagnosed my car, they wanted to charge me about $4,000.00 for repairs I didn’t need. So I found Milex online and took my car there. They determined I needed a crank sensor and it cost me $140.40I thank God for Milex I am a very satisfied customer

These guys do an awesome job! It is hard to find a repair shop that will educate you on why a repair is needed and will actually tell you if a repair can be put off while you save for the repair - or if it is critical. These guys are actually honest mechanics!

Great customer service, and honest people. Thats hard to find in a mechanic. Only problem was the wait. They said it would be ready by the end of the day I dropped it off or early the next morning at the latest. They ended up not finishing until the end of the day the next day.

If there was another star i will definitely give it. They were truely wonderful. Costomer service speed accuracy all of the above. They were simply there to help when i needed it. I will be taking my vehicles back to them from now on.

These guys really came through. They have services several of our fleet vehicles but Roman and Curtis recently fixed a rear end axle on our F-350. A day later the gaskets were leaking again and they fixed promptly at no additional cost and run around! Super awesome business owners and stewards of customer service.

I read reviews online and this placed look legit. I called and talked to Roman and this just seemed like the right place. He told me he doesn’t do phone quotes but said it would be $3451. When I arrived with my truck price had gone up to $3800. I had added the replacement of a window switch so I accepted the increase. About 5 days later I receive a call from Roman saying I need coolant replaced with transmission and it would be an increase of $800 more dollars. This sounded fishy so I called Blumenthals transmissions who were my second choice and just asked them some questions without letting them know my truck was with Roman. They told me their price included the coolant part Roman was talking about. I asked them worst case scenario what could they need to replace and they said maybe the coolant lines which would be $300. After taking to Blumenthals I know this was not right what Roman was telling me and I called him back and said that most transmission repair facilities include the coolant part with the work and if not $800 was not a fair price. I told him we should continue at the agreed price and he said if he did there would be no warranty. I have never left a negative review but felt like people should be warned about this business.

These guys really know what they are doing. I had taken my truck to a couple of places with an electrical problem with no luck. Milex got it fixed quickly and did it right. The price was reasonable and the guys were very friendly and helpful.

I had an worsening issue with my 07 Jeep Wrangler. I took it to 3 other shops & got 3 different diagnosiss, the last being its the transmission. I called around to get the best price & after reading their reviews, went w/Mr Transmission. After the guys there looked at it, they said the transmission was fine & fixed the CV Joint in the drive shaft which saved me about $2k compared to a transmission rebuild AND the driveshaft is what I told the first garage I has thought it was from the research I did on the internet.Also, Roman (& Curtis) were very easy to talk to & took time to explain what was needed, why it was needed & how much it would cost. Ill be using these guys again for sure.

Took my car in to get some sensor work done, paid 600 dollars. A couple weeks later my car started driving and acting worse then it did when I brought it in.Things I never experienced before. Come to find out I had no coolant in my car, took it back up to Milex and they tell me I have to pay 1400 more dollars for a water pump. Sounds like a bunch of bs to me. I will never go back to this place!! And not to mention they are some liars and will be hearing from my attorney. They half do work and only try to squeeze more money out of their customers. DO NOT GET WORK DONE TO YOUR CAR HERE!! SAVE YOURSELF!!

I went there ready to spend about $700 and they looked at my issue spent a few min checking it out and said it should work now you had a loose connection. I went to David Stanley first and they charged me $100 so they could tell me it would be $1000 something to fix. So I called Mr Transmission first/before I went there and they said to replace the parts you are talking about and the labor would be around $700. So I went to them and left paying $25 because I insisted on paying. The owner was. Very nice and did not want to charge me because they figured out the problem in a few mins and did not have to install any parts. I know how hard it is to find an honest mechanic and I have now found one. I have my whole family go to them now. Thanks for being honest.

I used to take my vehicles there to be serviced. They were great at first, but service steadily declined. The two main issues Ive listed below...About a year ago I took a 2001 Chevy Corolla in to be looked at. I was told over the phone that it needed a new engine, and that it would cost me around $3,500. It sucked, but it was still cheaper than getting a new car. When I showed up, I was told that the cost was actually closer to $4,600, because the price they gave me over the phone didnt include labor. I was upset, so I packed up and drove the car away. I ended up taking it to another mechanic who told me I just needed a valve job after LISTENING to my car for a couple of minutes. He had me in and out for less than $1,000, and my cars been running like a champ since.So why am I just now getting around to posting this review? I had my car in with my new mechanic last week taking care of some standard issues. While it was in, I asked them to take a look at the blower motor on my A/C. You see, the guys at Dougs/Milex had replaced it for me at one point in time, but it never seemed to work as well (the air didnt come out as forcefully as it did before the blower motor went out). I assumed (like an idiot) that maybe the replacement part just wasnt as strong. My new mechanic took a look at it and told me that whoever had replaced the blower had INSTALLED IT BACKWARDS! Thirty minutes later they had it working like winter in my car.I do not recommend Dougs/Milex.
