Just bought a car from them. Salesman was super helpful and friendly, however they said using a in house loan would increase the price of the vehicle so we had a outside loan through a credit union, all seemed fine but upon reading the paperwork they still increased the price by 3000$ since it wasnt a cash deal(which is ridiculous since they get paid immediately regardless and have 0 risk)and said I needed a extended warranty to get the loan. Reviewing it further it states its not necessary to acquire a loan so theres a extra 3k that wasnt necessary. Watch what they tell you and read the contracts carefully. Ill be contacting my lender and canceling the extended warranty. If it wasnt for the price hikes they wouldve gotten 5 stars

I had been looking for a Camaro for about two months with no luck. Then I found Southwest Car Sales online. They had one that was in my budget and looked really good. But it was in a whole other state from me. So I had no clue what if was like up close. When I called about it Sebastian answered and was very honest about any and all questions I had on it. I even sent a mechanic to check it out and he confirmed it was exactly as they had described. Ozzie the owner was top notch also. They didnt try to pressure me into buying the car. These guys didnt have to be honest but they were. Thats very rare in the used car industry these days. Absolutely DO NOT buy a car from this place. It has been the worst experience ever! I’m still dealing with it. I would recommend buying a car from carmax, caravana, private owner, auction, junkyard, anywhere but southwest car sales. There horrible, horrible and fraudulent people.

I bought a car from Southwest Car Sales last October. I put a down payment on the car after the salesman told me he would let both of his daughters drive this car. I traveled from Texas to pick up the car and everything seemed well enough. The car drove well, but there were a few extra cracks in the interior dashboard and the rear passenger door handle came off when I opened it. They took $50 off the price for these malfunctions. The salesman quickly went through the paperwork and told me a warrantee wouldnt be worth it and sent me on my way, saying the title would be mailed to me.A week later the car broke down on me in the middle of the road and would not accelerate. This continued to happen and when I took the car into multiple shops they all told me the car would need over $9k of work done to drive safe. One car mechanic showed me the Carfax history of the car and the odometer had been reset from 104k miles to 70k miles (odometer tampering - which is illegal). I called to return the car and the salesman told me that it was non-returnable because I did not buy the warrantee (which he talked me out of originally). I told him about the tampered odometer which he replied You cannot prove that, and when told about all the problems the car had he said to take it to a cheaper mechanic.When the title arrived it was not titled in my name and I had to pay taxes on the title which I could not get for months because the car would not pass inspection without thousands of dollars of work to be done on it. I paid $3k more and had the car pass inspection and titled only to sell it for a few thousand to CarMax. Talk about a lemon! I lost out on $8k. Anything that could have been pulled over my eyes, was pulled over. I am sorely disappointed in the ethics of this facility. I will never buy a car from this shop again, let alone another car sales shop. Stick to dealerships folks :(

I called to inquire about a vehicle they had listed and what the process would be in order to get that vehicle. The guy informed me that I needed to go to their website and fill out an application. I then called them back to ask some more questions and got an automated system telling me to call back later. I just assumed they were on lunch or busy, so I waited to call them back. I then called them back a couple of times an hour later and got the same automated message. Out of curiosity I used a different phone to call from so it would be a different phone number calling on their end. Magically, they picked right up! To then hang up on me when I started inquiring about the same car and when they realized I was the same person. This place is sketchy and does some underhanded stuff. I would NEVER recommend it to anyone.

Contacted them prior to driving from out of town to see a specific car. It was nowhere to be found. Salesman could not find it and said it must be down the block at their other lot. We drive down there and the guy at that location was clueless, not necessarily his fault, but not overly friendly or helpful either which is his fault. We go back to the first location, mostly to give one last opportunity because they were busy. Met a guy who was more helpful, Sebastian, he checked and said the car was at the body shop. Said he could get it here in 2 hours but I made arrangements to come see it the next day around noon to give plenty of time. Upon arrival the next day at 12:40 Sebastian was busy but saw me and I could tell he didn’t want to acknowledge my presence. Another salesman came up and said the same story from the day before, must be at the other location. Then must be at the Body shop until probably Monday. He didn’t really know.I had emailed and let them know I was coming 4 days in advance. Not pleased with the run around. Would not recommend to people from out of town at the very least.

Very disappointed. Tried to buy a car there last weekend. Poor customer service. Was told about an extra 2500 dollar fee while trying to sign paperwork. All they could tell me its written thst way on the website. Never even looked at the website to find the car was told the price of the car by the salesman, he never mentioned the extra fee.

After a bad experience at another dealership I went here on a whim and I was so glad I did. Told them what I wanted and what I wanted to pay. Got the perfect car with a bonus warranty for the payment I asked for. It wasn’t a fancy dealership but the service and vehicles were way better then you would get there. Super great guys, dealt with Richard who was amazing. Seriously don’t second guess it just go and you won’t be disappointed. Really I never review anything but this was the best experience I have ever had buying a car.

Very poor management and overall bad place to buy a car. Dealership offers vehicles in poor conditions at high prices and not sure if owner or the guy in charge in the back is very rude and quick to insult customers. Overall very bad experience and do not recommend.

I would not recommend this car lot to any of my friends or family members due to the fact I bought a 2013 Cadillac from them the front wheel is broken badly it refused to fix it the battery was in any good at all I had to replace it with my own money and alternator is bad as well theres something wrong with the car overheats I would highly recommend hiring yourself a personal mechanic if you buy anything from this car lot or have a mechanic look over the car before you buy it

Sooo not only was it a sketchy building the car that was recommended to me had a trunk that wouldnt close and a battery that was dead so we couldnt even start it. I had to wait outside in the cold till the salesman went to check another lot for a different car I was looking for only to be told it was being driven by the owners kid currently. And no this is not made up

The man we spoke with was very sweet but another guy sat back and said very short things to us and I was not impressed. If someone has 500 down and you get told that theres no way you can get a car with that you need real money down yet we bring in over 2 grand a month...Im not impressed. They want 1200 down 😂 so off to get a car with someone that will work with us. Im sorry yall missed out on some loyal people just because our credit isnt perfect. If you have absolutely no credit, this maybe the way to go. I had them run my credit and got approved, shortly I was told the car had been sold yet it wasnt. They wasted my precious time, all they had to tell me was that they would prefer to finance the car themselves and make more of a profit on it than use outside lenders, simple! Please go to a real dealership, do not waste your time!

My wife was looking for a Nissan Juke. She contacted the dealer 4 days before going to the lot and told them she wanted the car but would have the funds 4 days later showed up to test drive the vehicle and a lady that was sitting down started yelling at her saying her daughter was there to try and find financing. The sales people made her feel confortable after the lady done threw things in the dealership. Not sure what my wife done wrong but she was very upset with her because her daughter only wanted that car but wife done gave cash money for car. They apologized many many times and we told them it’s not their fault a grown person couldn’t act their age!!! But over all my experience was one of the best I’ve had in a dealership. Ten stars on my end!!!!!

Horrible customer service. Tried to buy a car from them with financing from my bank. Wouldnt return emails or texts and 3 different people gave me 3 different descriptions of the condition of the car I was interested in. They seemed to be bothered by my questions and I was even told just to come look at it. I explained more than once that I was almost 2 hours away. I finally gave up and told them forget it!

I, too, would post zero stars if possible. The fact that they have to leave their own reviews here and on their facebook should tell plenty. Easy enough to verify all of the listed Rugerri own/work there. Fraudulently show lower miles online than reality. Lie outright about contacting customers when confronted and ignore the request for proof theyve done what theyve said. Had Roxi step up and address Oceils mistakes, only to tell me to call the owner. Try to do that only to be told I wasnt worth their time and hung up on when I refused to give this dishonest dealer my phone number. Why on earth should that be required in any customer service business when I was asked BY THEM to call. unless its for someone there to do stupid things with...no thanks!

This place is starting to become a hassle for me, my car broke down to days after I got it, said my car would be in the shop a few days now its been in there over a week, when I call to talk to boss man, he cant answer the phone inside the store, neither can his employees..... And he wont answer his cell phone. This has been a continuous act for a few days. Extremely dissatisfied.
