Do not go to this location. Go to the Edmond one. We got a new radio put into my car - it kept disconnecting from Bluetooth, and the mic on it didnt work. They replaced the radio 3 times, and each time things got worse. The radio would randomly shut off, and then the actual radio fell backward INTO the dashboard. The entire time the guys at this location kept blaming me saying Im touching the interface too hard or Its your fault for buying a cheaper radio. We paid hundreds of dollars for this radio.I finally went to the Edmond location, and they fixed the wiring, programming, and they gave the radio a new power source, and I havent had any problems since.

I have an 07 Honda CRV that I finally got a working cd player for. They came out and told me that the plastic was cracking in my dash and wanted to know whether I wanted to continue and I did. There are 3 places in the dash that cracked, but Im sure without their capable hands, it would have been more. I am so happy with the finished product. Thank you again!

Not happy with my experience here. They installed my stereo and the calling feature didnt work because of how it was wired. My windshield banner was cut wider on one side than the other and was visibly noticeable. It had to be redone 2 more times to make it correct. By installing an aftermarket stereo I lost the ability to fade and make all the sound balance out, but a solution to correct that was not offered. Even after two visits on two separate days they didnt offer a solution to make the sounds more balance. My front speakers were much louder than the rear speakers, to the point that it didnt even sound like I had rear speakers in my jeep at all. I had to come to Nicks Stereo where they correctly wired the system in and now I can fade and balance the sounds to even out the sounds. I am super pleased with Nicks Stereo on May Ave and 36th. I will not return to Custom Sound but Nicks has a customer for life! If you want your stereo need met and done correctly by quality people go to Nicks Stereo!!

Man this place has a guy Rick that goes above n beyond expected service. We came in to replace a stereo in an older jeep Rick tells us let him check out out first Wow so glad he did it wasnt even out didnt have to replace the whole stereo. So instead of a stereo we are now getting new headlights n new speakers all that thanks to Mr Rick who took a few extra minutes n saved us from replacing something that wasnt even broken!! We will definitely use them again n I Highly recommend these guys for all ur vehicle accessories... thanks n keep up the good work guys!

This place has the worst customer service. The employees were rude and unhelpful. I told them I wanted a system with Apple car play, they asked me to pick a dash kit color and that they would call me when it was there. A month later, I call them and they say they aren’t sure why I wasn’t called and everything I needed was there, I just needed to bring my car in to get it installed. I get there and they ask (after I have already paid $488.80, which was just for the din kit that is on Amazon for $100.) if I would be mad if it didn’t have Apple CarPlay. That was literally the entire point! They said they could get me a flip out system but it would cost an extra $150 dollars. I told them to refund my money. I now have Apple CarPlay in my car thanks to Jackie Cooper for half the cost. These guys are a joke. Take your business elsewhere!

Came in to get some tips and possibly make an appointment, had to wait for employees to wrap up their convo before even being greeted. Ive never upgraded anything in my sound system, so I had lots of questions but decided to leave after the staff laughed when I told them Im trying to budget and upgrade piece by piece. Super unfriendly, wont be coming back.

Went there for a converter, was given the wrong one . Went back and they got me the one I needed, price matched the new one. That was all great until the guy said he would charge me to show me how to install it. Eventually came out of the back and had it all dummy proofed then actually just hooked it up ! Did me right ! They’ve had some bad reviews but mostly because people don’t understand once you tear into someone’s vehicle sometimes it turns into more work . Happy with the outcome . Just make sure to explain your expectations before hand and you won’t be let down !

They are fantastic. As you can see the other person may have had a dead battery that was not the shops fault. Also the other review didnt leave any details. Well they are fantastic. I shopped there for many years when it was Audio Plus which is terrible compared to these people. They went above and beyond to get my system performing at its best. Francisco took his time and made it right. No lie, I got upset that it took longer than I wanted but when I saw what he did I was amazed. If I was patient enough I would have had picture to show you. They ARE worth the money!

Made appointment over phone on Friday to have remote start installed after confirming that it would also turn on the ac and heater. Arrived for appt at 11am confirmed price and again asked if ac and heat would work. Was told “”Yes, it only doesn’t work if it is not installed properly”. 10 hrs later and we got our truck back. With it being 3 hrs after closing didn’t have a chance to try everything out. Get home and not only does the ac not work with remote start, but we have to turn the truck off and restart it to put it in gear. Makes for a long night of anxiety hoping that when I call them tomorrow they do the right thing and make it work like we were told it would or give us our money back. Will update with review after speaking with them tomorrow... fingers crossed!

They tinted the backglass on my 2004 chevy avalanche for around 2/3 less than what I would have paid anywhere else. Plus they have me some free stuff. I would reccomend Custom sounds to everyone I know.
