Absolutely great customer service. By far the best prices Ive seen yet and a very decent selection of accessories and extra parts. Better than any surrounding hobby store as far as tulsa.

Staff seem pretty nice, lots of cool trains old and new. But doesnt seem very kept up with, there was a diaper just sitting on a table next to me as I was looking around. Old drink cups, definitely looked like a messy staff room just out in the display area. But over all nice place without the trashy corner/back wall.

This guy was cool! Shop filled to the brim with hidden treasures. Like, everywhere. Snagged a Scaletrains bnsf heritage hopper for MSRP, which is half of Ebay prices! 4 stars, because, well the bathroom was disgusting. Like, my 8 year old daughter wouldnt go near it and, getting to the nearest public bathroom brought us to Walmart Neighborhood Market...Anyways go there asap for hidden treasures.

Dont go here! They will take things in for repair and just send them to Lionel. The big guy in the lobby is unprofessional rude and always has an attitude. I paid $125 to have an engine fixed. They sent it to Lionel and it came about six months later and it wasnt fixed. So they sent it back and almost a year later I still do not have it. The technician is an old cranky dude that has no clue of what TMCC is! The place is run down with junk everywhere. I am presently reporting them to the BBB. The owner is a nice guy but just tells you he is going to make it right and he never does. You can ship your repairs to people all over the country and have it back in a few weeks working. It may have been a good store at once. Now it is just a ramshackle organization with rude people.

They are the best hobby store in Oklahoma for model trains with almost everything you need.Stopped in for a beginner DCC HO scale system. So far so good. No, I have no involvement with the store and only been in twice in the last two years. I end up getting what I need at competitive pricing.

This place is really neat. They have been around a long time and have pretty nice everything you could need for a train set. The carry hard to find pieces as well as common stuff. They also have some RC car parts and other hobby odds and ends.

Small store but has a lot of train stuff inside,lot of hard to find items on hand.

I absolutely love dealing with Kevin and Ed. They are always so nice, even to my annoying daughters! LOL My family has been going there for years!! Decades even. The prices are always competitive, and they will look and see if they can order anything you are looking for. Plus they put on one of the largest train shows in this region every year. Just got into the model train hobby after wanting to for years and had been wanting to come up to Whistle stop and look around for a while. Im really glad I did. I ended up buying all the track I needed for my layout after noticing how nice the prices were. The employees were really nice and helpful, and I was amazed at how much stuff they had in stock.

This is a place for a true train hobbyist. I had a Lionel train since Childhood and have not operated it in over 10 years. I went in just to get a transformer (which they had) I was greeted by a man named Ed. He was super nice and helpful. There was a nice selection of trains, tracks and accessories. Everything was neat and nice and I was surprised with how small the store was at how much stuff they had and how well it was arranged. I also learned that they do have a repairman so I am definitely taking my train there for the minor repairs it needs. I took my husband and son with me and my son loved the store and left with many train goodies. Thank you Ed! And Whistle Stop, I will be back!!

They are always most helpful. I am now retired but have been shopping there since it has been open. Eddie goes out of his way to make sure we get what we need and if he doesnt have it, will order it right away. He gets 12 out of 10 in my books.

Love this shop when Im in OKC. Its a must just to talk with the owner!! Hes got lots of modeling experience to pass on!! They even had some American Flyer pieces that I was able to purchase. VERY friendly too.

Always an awesome experience! My daughters first time here and she loved it just like my sons did when they were younger.

Its not pretty inside but it does the job. Mostly HO, there is some N-Scale stuff and a little bit of everything else. The staff is friendly and helpful. Parking can be a little tight at times.

The only great model railroad shop in Oklahoma city for all gauges. GREAT FOLKS TO DO BUSINESS WITH.

I went to Whistlestop trains about two years ago. Now I go there weekly. VERY knowledgeable staff, always willing to help you out with the miriad of problems that always pop up. They are my GO TO source, for ANYTHING having to do with trains.

I love this shop Mr.Eddy is the owner and operator with his close friends and family. They are a wonderful group of hobbyist and have allways got discounts on all of your modeling needs from trains to scenery to anything you could think of and if they dont have it they will darn sure see if they can get it. I only shop at whistle stop trains because when you walk in you mysewell consider your self a part of a big family so if you need something for your hobby go to whistle stop trains and or there website they be glad to help you

Family owned been around a long time one of the only brick and mortar model train stores in OKLAHOMA City if they dont have what you need they will get it if it is available knowledgeable owners I prefer to support a local business and keep the money here than give it to California or China 👍👌
