I got a nose piercing done here by Jo, and she exceeded by expectations! She quickly realized I was nervous and did a great job of calming me down and making me feel better about the process. Also, she answered all of my questions before the piercing, and made sure I didn’t leave with any more on my mind. She took her time and made sure I was ready. She also gave me good information to help plan out my future ear piercings! I will be going back to her for every piercing in the future!

Joel is the guy I go to for a sleeve. Great work. I give him my ideas and he helps fine-tune them to my body-type. I encourage him to take some liberties with the style because his work is such high quality. Never been disappointed yet, and I doubt I ever will. Will be returning often.

Joe is amazing! I so wish I knew about Aftershock a couple of years ago to get my nose piercing done correctly. She consulted me and was not afraid to tell me to sleep on my decision and gave me great ideas if I decided to pursue getting a hoop noise ring. I definitely came back the next day and have no regrets. She she did a phenomenal job! I had so many compliments!

The piercer that did my nose piercing was absolutely great she has a very calming presence and voice that made the experience so much easier. She was also very gentle when doing the piercing. Very strongly suggest going here. Especially if it is your first piercing.

I appreciated her honest recommendation but I did get a second opinion and piercer stated same thoughts but said could be pierced a smidge above fold with no problems. I got my lobes double pierced and my cartilage pierced and it was such a great experience! The last time I had anything pierced was my lobes when I was 6 months old and Jo did an amazing job of explaining what to expect. She was kind, calming, and extremely professional while explaining every step of the process. Not to mention she was extremely efficient and the whole process took no more than 15-20 minutes. Came in today to get pierced by Jo and I had the absolute BEST experience i have ever had.I have multiple piercings and tattoos and her bedside manner was the best ive ever had, absolutely amazing. She was a constant cheerleader while I was getting my piercing - telling me i was doing a good job and explaining everything she was doing as she was doing it to keep me informed.She made me so comfortable (Even while having a needle shoved through a very delicate place). Went in for a upper ear piercing. Jo helped my friend and I. She was a complete professional and walked us through everything we needed to know and more. Have gotten tattoos and piercings from them in the past, and have been pleased with the artists’ work. My dislike lies in the receptionist’s efforts. She does not have good customer service skills and IMO, derails potential customers for the artists. Also, not great with communication so PSA, if you are wanting to book a session I would recommend physically going there so u can actually converse with the artist on what you want ahead of time so u don’t have to deal with her banter.

We absolutely love Aftershock. The staff is friendly and the place is kept up well. Brad, our tattoo artist, does amazing work, is down to earth and easy to get along with. We would not go anywhere else.

I got my industrial piercing last February and it was an amazing experience. Staff was friendly and I was in and out in less than an hour. However I recently went back to buy a new piece of jewelry, and was told that the only person with access to it was the piercer herself. I was told she had over ten people waiting for her, so it would be hours before she could simply come out and sell me a piece of jewelry. I feel like that system isnt effective in the slightest. If youre just wanting a piercing however, I recommend Aftershock.

Fun place to get a tattoo. We went on a Saturday when it is walk-ins only and arrived 30 minutes before the opened to an already existing line. Had to wait roughly 3.5 hours to get to our tattoos. Im not sure if you went on a weekday if they charge the same minimum, but on Saturday the minimum was $80 for a tattoo, no matter how small or simple. That is a reasonable charge, but keep that in mind if you have something simple and small that would normally cost less, consider going somewhere else on a Saturday.Very satisfied with my work, the tattoo artist was fun, interactive, and gave great advice. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I do recommend going to Aftershock Tattoo.

I have never had a better experience getting a piercing in my entire life. Jo is truly an amazing human being and her vibe mellows your nerves and her voice soothes you into meditation state! I have gotten one tattoo here, and they were quick, clean, and everyone there is super nice. Besides that, I get all of my piercings done here, and I will never go anywhere else. The piercer is so rad, and she knows what she’s doing. She talks you through everything and makes you feel confident and comfortable in getting that piercing. She gives great advice on what piercings you should get before others, which side it would work better for you on, and she’s always honest and I appreciate that. I have sent 3 different friends to get pierced by her and they also say that they won’t go anywhere else. If you’re looking for a place to get a piercing, this is absolutely, 100% the place. I have no bad things to say about them. Aftershock deserves 5 stars across the board.

Our turn came after about 3 hours. But it was so worth it. Brad did amazing work. So much detail and time spent making our tattoos perfect.

My girlfriend took me here for my birthday to get my first tattoo, something I had been wanting to do for years. Thew did an amazing job, designed what I asked for in minutes, and had me done and out the door quickly. The whole place has a great vibe, is very clean, and the artists are cool. Ill definitely go back.

Had an absolutely excellent experience here. The guy at the front counter was very nice and super helpful with everything that we needed to take care of before having our piercings done. Jo was super sweet and gentle. Eased our nerves very quickly, talking us through every step of the way. Loved everything about this place! Waited 3.5 hours before the receptionist told us that they wouldnt be able to get to us and that was only after we asked if they would be able to get to us. Place was clean. Service was horrible. They need a better system on Saturdays.

I wish I could give zero stars. My friend and I walked in last night to get a quote, see if it was by appointment only, and just other information. The girl at the front desk was the least helpful person Ive ever met. She did not offer any information and it was like pulling teeth to get any information out of her. We asked to talk to one of the artist to discuss what we wanted and she looked at us like we were aliens. It was the most awkward interaction and because of her we walked out and will never come back. Its too bad because this place has good reviews. They just lost two customers because of the girl at the front desk. Maybe its because the younger generation does not know how to communicate anymore. Either way its just sad.

Dom was absolutely phenomenal. He was patient and made sure I got the best design and detailing on my first tattoo. Highly recommend him, and will be coming back for more sometime.

I recently received my second tattoo from Joel at Aftershock yesterday. The front desk staff was very professional and helpful from my initial consult through the time of my appointment. I have used Joel as my tattoo artist for both tattoos, and he is a fantastic artist--he beautifully rendered the original tattoo I brought in and even added some extra embellishments to make it even more perfect! And as a bonus, hes a very laid-back person and an easy conversationalist, so it makes the process of the tattoo go by in no time! I highly recommend Aftershock and Joel if youre looking for a reputable establishment to get some ink.

I came in as a walk in for A nose piercing because they don’t do appointments on saturdays. I recommend you arrive early because there was a line outside 20 minutes before open. They got me in fast and jo was very good at explaining the aftercare. She was very calming and It went by so fast. Barely felt a thing! Definitely recommend and I will be back for more piercings.

It was a little place but seemed clean and friendly. Staff was helpful and up beat. My kid was getting a difficult ear piercing for help dealing with migraine headaches. They really help her.
