I decided to try this place instead of Amazon, Musicians Friend or Guitar Center. Just wanted to order some electric guitar strings off the website and go pick them up. Turns out one of the sets of strings was not actually in stock and one was. After a few days I had to call and find out what was going on. First I tried calling the customer service number on the email and then calling the store, then looked at the site again. When they say in stock it is not store specific even though it makes it seem like it is. Yet when I ordered these they both seem to indicate they were there. The email didnt make mention one was there and one was shipped and no one called to tell me. No one responded to my email inquiry either. I would have had the strings yesterday with Amazon. I wonder if I order on Amazon now I will get the Amazon order before this. Or I could go out to Guitar Center and pick them up. I dont like the website it was hard to order and it didnt make clear what was going to happen. The email said I would get a call, thats I think what bothers me the most is not being informed what was going on. I doubt Ill shop here again. The people on the phone were pleasant thats all I can say was good about this experience.Update, a few minutes later: I went ahead and ordered the same strings on Amazon, it was cheaper. Now lets see which I get first. And I was already told by Amazon one will be arriving before the other. One will be in 2 days the other in 3-4 days. Right now Im on day 3 with Music & Arts and I could go pick up one set but had to call to find that out. I guess Amazon ruined my expectations for everyone else.Update 2 9/10/20. Got my Amazon order. Still havent heard anything about my site to store order. Going to 1 star.Update 3 9/19/20. No one has reached out to me yet for any order updates. I reached out to the online form since I placed the order online, they said they shipped the 8/31 order on 9/1 and to call the store. Called store and they dont have it. I asked for the store to check with the shipper and replied to the email advising they work to fill the order or offer another resolution. When the vendor doesnt understand whats going on or how to handle it without the customers involvement seems like a waste of time for the customer. But its not a problem because I bought a second set of strings on Amazon and they are on the guitar already. This order will be backup strings if I ever get them.

My daughter and I were in the market for a new digital piano and came to the M&A store in Olathe. We tried several in the store and my daughter was not excited about the sound. Megan, who doesnt normally work at that location, helped us immensely by suggesting a Yamaha keyboard with great sound and a price within our budget. We purchased one and she even helped us load it into our van. She was amazing and our daughter is thrilled with it . Thank you!

Noah and Brady were incredibly helpful in getting me my first acoustic. Knew the answer to every question I threw at them, helped me think about stuff I wouldnt have considered, and overall were just sweethearts. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

Im very glad I found this store. I needed a quick repair for my sons viola that he needed the next day. Since all the other music stores were already closed, I was lucky to find this one still open. The manager and his assistant provided me top notch service by immediately fixing the viola which totally saved the day for me. If you want a music store with friendly, knowledgeable staff, visit this one like I did.

Friendly personable staff, Noah who is actually the store manager took the time to re-string my guitar on the spot while I waited. Great selection, great prices and great service. I just found my favorite music store right here in Olathe!!!

Great friendly service. Bright and clean store. Alex helped me and we rented a cello in a matter of about 10 minutes. That they are open on Sundays is a bonus.

I was in on 7/5/19 to order guitar picks which were expected within a week. After 2 weeks, I called and was told it would be looked into and she would get back to me the next day. She never called back and I still have yet to get notified if my order is expected or not. It’s been a month and four days. Terrible customer service!

Take lessons here weekly, friendly toutors, great service and an overall great environment. Would recommend for lessons, buying an instrument or just trying out an Instrument to see if you’d be interested in learning it. 5/5 stars ⭐️

There arent many music stores that offer a decent selection of music these days. I was happy to find they had a wife selection of classic and contemporary. Glad I stopped by.
