I would like to give a shout out to Maureen for assisting me in finding two electric cars. Thank you, Maureen for doing your job and putting a smile on my sons face.My advice to the two workers/ladies (blonde hair/short length and a lead) that I approached in the beginning of my shopping experience---you should always go the extra mile in assisting your customers you never know if that shopper will write a review. If I didnt ask Maureen for assistance, I would have left the store empty handed.Oh, and a big shout to Wayne for ringing me up and putting the items in my vehicle.

I am trying to buy Cologne and have asked 4 different associates for help. At the end of waiting for 20 mins. only 1 associate followed through to have it called out on the PA for a jewelry associate required. After 10 more mins. I asked 1 more associate who finally went to go get the key to help. After a 30 min. wait I was finally help. Your Old Saybrook store really needs help in customer service. This is horrible.

Definitely the smallest Walmart I’ve seen. They still have most departments, but on a smaller scale. And there’s no produce section. But the LEGO aisle was well stocked 😁

Its your average Walmart. Theres a global health crisis. People are doing their best. Be kind and understand that product shortages are not the fault of the employees. Thank you for coming to my tedtalk

First time shopping here nice store found a lot of cool stuff

My wife and I like Walmart. They have a large selection of products and their prices are pretty good. The cash register situation was actually good this time compared to most times we shop here.

It was fine what you need even if you dont need it

Spotless store! Smaller and theres no produce section. Frozen.foods snacks and ingredients available

Fish and chips are delicious and service was good too

This is a small walmart which carries maybe 1/3 the stuff, some of the staff is friendly, and some treat others like thieves, I love shopping for the prices but they rarely keep most of the stock up

If Walmart doesnt have it, you dont really need it. I live out of this place.

Smaller store than some but still a good selection of reasonably priced items

Pretty cool little Walmart different from others I have been in and much quieter and cleaner

Theres two exits/entrances as well as two sets of cashiers for this Walmart . Be careful of where you meet up with your group. Its quite confusing. The staff is not helpful at all, they couldnt even scan a coupon right. Prices also seems higher than other Walmarts. Do yourself a favor and go to a supercenter instead.

I found what I was looking for and when I couldnt the associates were helpful in finding it. I had some issues at the self check out but there were two associates that helped me take care of it immediately.

Its Wal-Mart. Its got everything. The Thomas section is disappointing, however.

Its was good at first. We were the only people in the store. And some lady kept following me and my mother telling us to put up our masks. She walked directly up. She was following us and harassing us the whole time we were at the store. I didnt get her name.

Dirty outside. the plants seemed like they were all dead. the staff was ok but not overly friendly. Overall not a very sanitary store compared to the other Walmarts around the state.

The customer service desk was absolutely horrid. Theyre supposed to offer check cashing but when presented with a check from a bank they wouldnt cash it...even though we had valid ID, valid ssn

Great place to shop for everything at very reasonable prices.

Definitely prefer Walmart Super Center VS the traditional stores.Update: Customer Service is exceptionally good here. I was all over looking for something and an associate was busy she stopped what she was doing to walk me over to where what I was looking for was. This has to be the best Walmart in the state. Old Saybrook Walmart changed my mind about the company.

Very clean store, not crowded and great staff. However, they seemed to not have as much inventory as other Walmarts that Ive visited. There were no major storms coming, so there was no panic shopping. But they just didnt have a lot of inventory.

Very weird layout. We got what we needed but only with help from staff.

They havent had a good selection of items lately

Once again most workers here are not that friendly and make you feel like your a real bother to them. Especially the younger ones. Its very disappointing.

This is more like a neighborhood Walmart. Its small compared to a normal walmart.

Just left the self checkout station. The fastest time through there that I can remember. We were 7 deep waiting to enter. In no time I was at a register. This was solely because of the pride and honest work effort of an employee named Nihkil. He flew to the registers to clean them and when there was a problem he was right there to resolve it. His actions give me hope for the younger generation coming up in the World. Take notice of this employee Walmart! Hard work should be rewarded. Maybe he could be fast tracked to Management. Or at least be recognized by the store.

This time around. Jeff the CSM was very rude n never honored the price that appear on line twice. N on self was different. So now I think we may get it at that the online price. But was so very rude. Other than that its walmart n love shopping it.

We stopped going to Waterford because everything about that store was very bad EVERYTHING. We started going here for most of items. Lately you cant find what you came for and god forbid if the self checkouts are open for longer qualities and no cash back. Very sad. The only good thing is most of the staff are very polite and helpful

First order gets lost in mail. Never got .Second order replace company Unicorn send order dent pull kit, no slide hammer and charge again unreal.sucks

A little strange on my Google maps. It brought me to the back door. The front is all the way around the S&S behind the plaza. Once you find your way in, its a good Walmart with typical large selection and good prices. Just remember if you parked by the back entrance after you check out... Lol

Had everything I needed and for a great price!

They have an elderly woman running the electronics department. I asked if they had the new bts cd. she had no idea what it was, what Korean pop music was, or really anything about electronics. she then wasted my time asking for an explanation of what it was. showed me the regular cd bin. when i showed her it says in stock on the website she said and I quote you cant trust what it says on the website I wasted my lunch break running over there to not only find out the website lied but they have a geriatric woman who barely can maintain her mental faculties running the section she knows nothing about. Do they not have someone who might know what the electronics products they sell even are? thanks for ruining my local Walmart with your poor management decisions. anyone who owns a smart phone could run circles both physical and mentally around your electronics representative. you should be ashamed.

Love this Walmart!!! A smaller footprint - not a Super Center, which is what I find great about this location. I still prefer shopping for food and groceries in a grocery store. I know I am in the minority - forgive me. Aisles are clear, department adjacencies are sensible, product choices plentiful and not overwhelming. Pleasant and knowledgeable staff.

Meet with the manager, Marchelle Savage. Extremely helpful. Her employees live her, so that says a lot, too.

At age 77, I need to rely on a speedy and flawless pharmacy. Walmart in Old Saybrook is exactly that place.Pharmacist Kayla and staff are 5 star in knowledge and service with fast curbside delivery right to your car!You must give them a try. You can transfer your Rx from any pharmacy to Walmart.Ask about GoodRx to save huge $$$$.JB

I drove out here to Old Saybrook from the Norwich/Groton area - everything there is always out-of-stock for the Better Homes & Gardens products. In particular, I went to three different Wal-Marts to find the cream colored, 13 Fabric Storage Bins and the Norwich, Groton, & Waterford Wal-Marts didnt have any (see below picture). It took me having to drive out to this cute Wal-Mart in Old Saybrook to find what I need. The store is clean and the employees were nice to me. Theres this hard working gentleman pushing carts, but I dont know his name; I noticed he was very hard working - give him a raise guys! Anyway, thanks for the great experience there; I like that cute plaza ~ it has an 70s/80s Iconic Nostalgia to it and its quite refreshing 😁👍.

Superwalmart by far has the best grocery prices. I save 1/4 to 1/2 The price of the grocery stores. They have everything, its a time saver because its often a one stop visit. Love it and go almost every week!

It seems like they are cutting back on options. I went to get allergy medicine & a canvas to paint on. They only had the name brand of medicine, no cheaper option & same with the canvas!? Otherwise nice place!

Walmart was GREAT,I will say again Great.For the first time in any store Ive been in.When they say,No Mask no service they mean it.Most places say that but if youre a regular,its ok come on in.Its ok,BUT ITS NOT.!!!!!!!!

Its fine. Its a run of the mill Walmart. Limited grocery options, but the cashier was a very nice and pleasant lady.

Normal day at walmart, need more cashiers, prices good, store well stocked. No major complaints. Would like to buy more online from them instead of going there, but after the issued Ive had with the cell phone I bought on line, not sure.

In spite of existing regulations for social distancing, a staff member was standing outside controlling entry into the store. It was not a busy time, and this additional precaution was, imo, unnecessary due to the relatively small number of patrons inside. Target doesnt need to do this, so I dont understand why this Wal-Mart would need to, especially being in a fairly small town.Regardless of my gripe about COVID precautions, the selection was good and so was the cleanliness. I will say that the staff seemed very spread thin, and only two registers were open. An additional staff member was apparently needed to tell people that a self checkout kiosk was available rather than attend a register.

Quiet friendly place.

Walmart is Walmart. Since Walmart has forced all the other department stores out of the area, its the local go to place for all household sundries, street clothes and otc medications.Store is of the smaller variety. Little to no groceries. Other than that, its just another Walmart, and very small Walmart at that.To be fair though, in the season, they have a pretty good garden dept.

Carts were cleaned awaiting you at main entrance, foot traffic pattern clearly marked throughout store. Staff & patrons were pleasant.

Actually Walmart cervical spine I also go to the one in Guilford at least twice a week and I frequent the one and Wallingford once in awhile Im a little upset they dont have tank tops anymore but I guess theyre called woman beatersso I dont know what that means for sureBut I have a feeling I dont want to know but I do enjoy the black tank tops you guys always had because they go with my shorts for the summer and I usually buy a 10 or 15 of them that way I dont have to do laundry once a week haha not a joke but thank you and I hope you put them back in stock it was a good price when you buy a tank top for under five bucks thats a deal
