Decent service.. but terrible cellphone service. Had to step outside and come back a few times to retrieve important information from my phone.

I thought the idea of laminating vaccine cards for free was brilliant. Bring customers into your store for a free service that probably cost pennies. A lot less cost than advertising. But if you are going to treat people like they are a bother when they take you up on your offer you are doing more damage than good. 3-26-21 around noon. Bad move, would have rather paid for it and been treated with some respect.

This Staples store is an easy place to visit and get that office item that you have been searching for. I started my quest looking for a replacement office chair. My previous chair, I bought from Staples was purchased over 10 years ago. It finally gave out and needed replacing. After a mere 30 minutes, I found the perfect replacement. The assistant was outstanding and well knowable of the products that the store offers.

Their IT services department takes advantage of elderly customers lack of computer knowledge to sell them products and services they do not need. When given the opportunity to make it right they refuse. I spoke with the IT services manager, Corey, and explained the situation to him. He said that even though they misdiagnosed the computer, since the work was already done they would not issue a refund for their mistake. This is no way to run a business.

I just have to say I’ve never had a bad experience at this store. I find the staff extremely helpful. This is especially true of the people in the Copy and Print center.

Cory quickly set up a new email account on my computer. I had spend several hours trying to do so but became frustrated by protocols, passwords, etc. Corys polite intelligence makes Staples a must visit place.

I like this store overall. Good customer service as in most Staples. Today I saw something that helps put my faith back in humanity. A young man named Hunter that works at Staples escorting an elderly lady right to her car door. She was parked in a handicap spot and looked a little unsteady because of an injury to her leg. Reminded me of my ma and my gram. Hit me right in the feels! Thanks Hunter! You made her day and mine too. I wish you success in life!

They had a special this week to recycle equipment and I took in 3 desk top computers in and a very nice young man removed the hard drives, gave them back to me and recycled the rest. Then gave me a $10 coupon of $30 purchase. Very good trip to Staples.

Quite possibly the worst retail store in the area. Its not uncommon for the more expensive items (software, webcams, cameras, computer parts, etc.) to have a placeholder box on the shelf, which you bring the to front and they get the item for you from a stock room. I have gone in to purchase an item at the store on THREE separate occasions (that the Staples website indicated was in stock at the store), brought the placeholder box to the front, and was told Well have to order that from the website for you.My reaction: Then why are there three boxes for this item on the shelf?Managers response: Sometimes we dont pull those boxes. We have to order it for you.Me: But your website says that you have the item in stock.Manager: We dont, but we can order it for you.Crappy store, crappy service. Order your stuff from Amazon and get it on time for half as much.

Needed to package books for mailing. I purchased a box. The employee in the shipping area was very helpful in cutting box to size and taping it up for me.

Nick helped me find everything I wanted. And it was all in stock. Not a bad deal for Black Friday. I also saved over $300.

Literally took 20 mins to print something. One other person was in line with 4 staff working and multiple people asked if I was being helped and then didnt help me. It usually takes 1 or 2 minutes to print at staples.

Friendly but not overbearing. Good place to get what you need and get work done.

The technician in the Saybrook staples was very helpful while I was in the store asking him about if they can try to fix an iPhone that got water damaged and he answered all of my questions, and basically if your iPhone or smart phone gets water damaged, they will try to fix the phone for you, and if it starts to work and it gets fixed the charge is $69.99 for just an iPhone and if they can’t get it to work there isn’t any charge incurred. Also, they recommend within 24 hours to bring in the iPhone and do not plug it in at all and keep the iPhone off so nothing will short circuit. My only issue is I looked at the store hours online so for one; their hours of operation are posted wrong on the internet stating they are open until 10:00 pm and it also says online “open” when I looked. The technician was suppose to call me once the process was completed and I never received a call from them at all and so at 9:06 pm I called the Saybrook store and the voice recording told me they are currently closed. So, although I liked the way I was helped and all of my questions and concerns were well answered, I felt pretty irritated when the tech didn’t call me to communicate what has happened with my son’s iPhone and I also didn’t like the postings stating the store hours being open until 10:00 pm, clearly not the right time on the internet. I will inform them to fix their website seeing I’m sure others even may have driven to Staples in a rush just to find out they’re closed although the internet states otherwise.

I needed a small laptop for travel, with a help from Staples guy it took me no more than 10 minutes to buy one, after 3 years I still enjoy it. Knowledgeable and friendly people, good place.

Engineer Prints 24x36 cost 3 X what a local business two miles away charges $63 vs $203. What a rip off. Called them back and I was basically told thats their pricing. STAY AWAY! I WONT BUY ANY tHING AT THIS OR ANY OTHER STAPLES!
