Honestly the best shop around best people. I drive 30 min whenever I want to go get some cards. Went to oblivion earlier (sorry guys) wasn’t impressed. Danny is the best but still lame. Good selection of singles for Pokémon. Only complaint all workers need to Keep up to date on prices also fair for trade in

Great place to get some MtG cards in the St Pete/Clearwater/West Tampa area. They have plenty of other card trading games, collectibles and games, too. Best of all: friendly and knowledgeable staff! They said theyre opening a new area in the back soon to play games at; will definitely come back to check it out!

Has lots in-store, wish the carried more type of 3x3 binders, but they still have lots of really great stuff inside, and sell all different type of card game stuff.

Best card store I have been to in a while. Good and well organized collection. Easy to work out a deal with. Wish I lived local because I would go here all the time.

I started coming here around last August and i find myself constantly coming back again and again. I have been around many card shops and their selection of single cards is unparalleled. Not many card shops carry as much as they do, and the best part is is that it doesnt just stop at cards. They have a stellar selection of pop figures and board games in the shop, and their stock updates frequently. Staff is very informative of upcoming product releases, and its just an overall friendly environment. I trust Forbidden for my trading card needs, and you should too!

Been in several times to look at board games, D&D books and Pop Vinyl. Usually spend at least 50 bucks. Last two visits been told that the back room is closed off and I cant browse merchandise. Front lobby has old video games and collectable card games, basically stuff I do not care about.. Staff was dismissive and unhelpful. Im sure Im not the only customer they have run off.

I absolutely love this store! Me and my family found this place last year and it does not disappoint. They have a great assortment of board games, pokemon cards, d&d things and more! This is a very nice shop with a collection of games and trading cards to choose from. they also have a good number of pop figures and other collectibles. the staff there are very friendly and I had a nice conversation with them about magic.I recommend anyone around the Tampa area to check this place out for any cards and collectibles!

This is the best cards and games store in the area. The staff are all friendly and nice. Theres a wide variety of card games from Pokemon to Magic. And the board game selection is nice! You cant beat their prices either. I keep coming back to this store because of the awesome staff and the great selection. Cant recommend Forbidden Cards and Games enough!

Pokémon cards were tampered with and re-sealed. Wouldn’t buy individual booster packs. - in response to owners response. I have opened thousands of booster packs. The white code cards/green code cards are always face up. The darkness of blaze booster packs purchased were flipped code card number side up. White code card decks did not contain halo graphics. I weighed card decks and all other darkness of blaze boosters are within a tenth or hundredth of a gram and unfortunately these were close to a gram different. I appreciate you being honest about opening in front of customer but it’s clear that something takes place after hours.

Forbidden is one of the most reputable, trustworthy card/game shops that I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with. The staff make the experience and environment very exciting and comfortable. My friend and I spend a couple hours here every time we stop by. I’d suggest giving them a shot, I can promise they will have you leaving happy.

Forbidden is an amazing shop to grab anything sealed or even just single cards. They work very hard to get what you ask for and make the experience very easygoing. The staff takes very good care of their customers and will go out of their way to go above and beyond! Forever my favorite shop!

Staff is great and they do seem to carry a good variety of product, especially when it comes to Pokemon at the moment. Only complaint is the pricing, some of it is fine some if it is too close to market than retail pricing to be comfortable with.

These guys deserve nothing but good reviews they are super chill and helpful/knowledgeable on what they sell. And prices are reasonable due to high demand for Pokémon cards. I drive 30 mins to support this store and others should as well! Thank you for being cool!

Super friendly but there pricing could use work, rounding any card under a dollar to a dollar especially for a card thats only a few cents is kinda lame.

I have taken my 5yo son to multiple store in the tampa bay area usually leaving feeling like we didnt belong and annoyed with the customer service. Today we came into this card store and my son who loves pokemon was greeted with the upmost kindness from the employees here. He picked out a trading card game, a few cards and packs. They sold us a started set and were very kind and knowledgable helping me pick the correct things to get him playing. They now have a customer for life. Thank you for treating my son with respect.

Love, love, love this place. Everyone is so nice and they have a great selection. They always keep everyone posted on whats in stock on FB and Instagram. Started going back in September and even though its an hour there and back I wouldnt shop for my Pokémon anywhere else. Thanks for being awesome!

This store is so cool inside. Very organized and the guys are very knowledgeable there. This is the best place to go to get all of your card needs from Pokemon to D&D. If they dont have what you want they will figure a way to get it for you. Awesome store👍👍

Great to have a place like this in Oldsmar. The staff are all hands on, friendly and very knowledgeable down to the T. It adds a great charm to the city because they hold a lot of vintage product that cant be purchased in stores anymore. The products are absolute dynamite! Ive witness someone pull 2 cards well worth over $100 minutes after purchasing them right off the shelf.

This is the best card shop I have ever been to! They are not only very well stocked and well priced but the staff is very knowledgeable and also extremely helpful and friendly. Kristin has helped me and my kids on multiple runs for pokemon cards and we leave every time saying i cant wait til we come back again!
