Love this campground so much. Great pool, atmosphere, and owners. They have a store, fishing, cabins. Such a great place to stay while exploring the area and Ellicottville.

If you are looking for a great place to relax, kick back and enjoy life.....Lake Lane is the ticket!!!My wife and I spent the better part of a week there and will be returning soon as we get more vacation time.The owners are the nicest people we have ever come across in our 35 years of RVing.Hannah, you were so nice to us, Sean, I really enjoyed talking with you down by the lower pond on 9-22-20 and also for taking the time after hours to show us the indoor custom made fish habitat. Covid BS aside, you will be very successful in your campground going into the future. Looking forward to returning and bringing more of our camping friends.Thank You for your attention to details and making our stay very enjoyable!!!John & Jodie Hayes

We asked for a site for a 30 motor home with full hook ups. Couldnt get up the hill to the site so had to take a different one with no sewage. There are no bath houses, and ONE porta-potty. Very inconvenient. Many large campers on gravel, fortunately we were able to turn around to have some grass. Working on bath houses now. GPS took us down a terrible, rutted gravel road. Gentleman there was very nice and helpful.

The campground itself is very nice. Beautiful fishing ponds, trail to walk or ride 4 wheeler. The only negative thing is the internet. Couldnt make calls or use internet very well.

Extremely helpful, accommodating owner, but campground is just starting, only has a portajohn as is currently digging a foundation for their 1st bathhouse.

We were only there overnight but it iy very nice and the owners are just great. Its a new campground and is very nice already. Sure it will be even nicer in a few years.. Thank you for all your help and good luck on your new adventure. The Bruces from Ohio. ❤

Having once lived in the area, I knew that this campground was relatively new. One never knows what to expect at a new campground, new store, new restaurant, etc. I was extremely, and pleasantly, surprised at what I found. The owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful in all aspects of my stay. I was personally directed to my campsite, which was perfectly level, no shims, no boards, no jacks were needed. The only leveling required was front to rear and that was easily accomplished with the hitch jack. The grounds were clean and well manicured, and quiet hours were enforced. There are a number of pleasant walking paths, and if you fish, be sure to bring your equipment. There were multiple ponds containing all matter of species. Bass, trout, sunfish, perch, and catfish just to name a few. I will definitely be returning to this campground on my next visit to the Olean area.

This place is new.. absolutely beautiful with the ponds. Going to try it out! Its not a big campground.. thats fine with me! Peace and quiet!.. also.. The owners were so friendly..showed use around when it was their dinner time! Im sorry I made them so late for dinner with their kids..I really thought about all the work they have done there.. building the roads and the sites..along with everything else..ponds and buildings..pool.. laundry room..so much..they have really done a beautiful job. This place is my plan for the coming season..I like what I see! Its absolutely beautiful! Steve D. Cant wait for the season to open.. Love the place and the people

A colleague and myself decided to get away for a few days. We were so lucky to have found Lake Lane Fishing and Camping Ground. We just wanted to get away and relax and this is the place to do it. The hosts/owners are some of the most gracious and hospitable folks you can meet. They wanted to make sure that every part of our stay was going great and it was. I would highly recommend this place if you want a beautiful place to camp, cabin and fish to your hearts delight. Hopefully my pictures speak better than my words.

Had a very nice weekend at this campground. Our extended family have been camping here for a couple of years and we finally got a chance to join them. The sites are very large, well spaced out, everything is new and the owners have put a lot of thought into what would make their guests happy and have a fun time. They have several fishing ponds, a playground, beautiful in-ground pool, gazeebo, camp store and plans for more fun things. The owners were very accessible, very friendly and willing to help with anything. We would recommend this campground to everyone. We cant wait to come back.

Dont ever, and I mean ever rent anything from lane lake campgrounds on the windfall road. They are complete jerks. They are over priced and a real pain to deal with. Rented a pavilion from them, paid big bucks, promised electric. Had no electric and got no rebate. Had to pay extra for a port a pot, which ran out of toilet paper half way thru the party. Had to clean up geese crisp before the party. Better off having party at dump. Wasnt allowed to hang signs, showing where the party was. Owner raised hell when people drove on the main ground. Instead of helping them he yelled at them for raising dust. These owners are real jerks. Go to breezes point. So much better. Never paid so much and got so little. They Are real inconsiderate jerks. Dont ever and I mean ever rent anything from these jerks. These are the words my cousins posted on facebook. I was going to check out place to camp there but had issues with the owner. Total jerk

Very nice campground. Plenty for the kids to do and several nice ponds to fish in.

The owners are psycho racist drunks. I was invited up to lane lake and as soon as I appeared on my harley, they seemed to have a problem with my motorcycle or skin tone. I spent about 5 hours up at the camp and then went for a ride on the neighbors side by side. When we returned the owner was calling me a n!gg3r demanding that we paid $100 each for going more than 5mph off his property. Said he was going to call the police and have us arrested. When he finally let us leave, he wouldn’t allow me to drive my motorcycle out of the camp. He said the camp was private property and it was on his possession now. The drunk idiot was essentially trying to steal my motorcycle. Because I knew he was an idiot to think he could keep my motorcycle, I ran and got on it and tried to leave. The owners got in their truck and tried running me over as I left.At the end of it, the police were called and I was able to get my motorcycle back with out any charges whatsoever. The owner was threatening the police officers, saying he’s going to have them fired and they don’t know the law. But the owner also was forgetting he was drinking and driving, heralding me, and attempted to hit me with his f250 pick up while I was riding my motorcycle out of the park.It was a nice place to visit, but the owner might try to essentially rob you, degrade you, or call the police on you for anything he can think of.

We found a gem in Olean!Whether its camping in style or roughing it the old fashioned way, Lake Lane has something for everyone.Situated in the Enchanted Mountains of Cattaraugus County, Lake Lane offers some of the best views around.Family owned and operated, youll be hard pressed to find anyone else more dedicated to making your next trip one to remember. The owners are top notch people who really put 110% in everything they do.We opted to stay in one of the cabins for this trip and were met with all of the modern day amenities, including Wi-Fi, Satellite TV, a mini fridge and microwave just to name a few.The bed was comfortable and the sleeper sofa added extra space for guests or the little ones that tag along.Youll be hard pressed to find a cleaner more comfortable cabin than what is offered at Lake Lane. In fact, you wont find many hotel rooms at this price range that offer the amenities and cleanliness youll find here.If you more into roughing it, there are multiple tent and trailer sites all around the park. Youll find water and electricity hookups as well to make things a little more comfortable if you so desire.Activities for the whole family are available on site. Fishing (no license required) is available in multiple ponds around the park along with a bait shop and poll rentals if needed. Theres also a heated pool, kayaks and a playground in the park to enjoy.We had a fantastic time at Lake Lane and we contribute this to the owners once again who go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay.Make sure to look up at the sky at night if youre here. We took the drive down from Buffalo and even on a clear night, you wont be able to see what we saw in the night sky. Its really one of those things that youll appreciate if your a city dweller.Well definitely be back to Lake Lane and cannot wait to see all the improvements that the owners plan on doing to make it an ever more enjoyable stay for guests.
