Great people working here. They are knowledgeable and friendly. I came in for a rotate and balance. I know theyre short staffed and I anticipated a wait, but they had me on my way in less than an hour.

Quick and friendly service! We arrive before opening to be first, got 2 cars service (oil change, all fluids check, and tire checks) and was home by 9am.

I was at gateway early yesterday, Friday, got two new tires and an alignment. I was out of there at ten. There were 15 different customers at gateway before they opened, just like me. Very professional and theyre handling a big rush. My hat is off to their service, attitude, and attention.

Mechanic said I needed new rear struts and bearing plates to replace my BRAND NEW STRUTS! Wanted over 1000.00 to replace something I just replaced. Going by the noise he heard and didnt physically look. Well, I went to someone else and had my BRAND NEW STRUTS checked and theres nothing wrong with them. Imagine that!!! Stan at Gateway told me, well, if you want it fixed, thats what your gonna have to do (buy new struts)Try actually listening to your customers !!!

Went for brakes and rotors on my Ford f-150. When they checked them I didnt need either one. I wasnt charged for checking them out. Great customer service. Employees were very polite and helpful as well.

The staff is always polite, and they take care of any and all of my automotive needs. This location gets alot of traffic, so sometimes there is a long wait. But as long as the job is done correctly, its a small inconvenience that doesnt bother me much.

The guys at the front counter are awesome. It just take so long to have anything done. Oil change and tire plug took an hour and 45 minutes.They’re great if you can drop your vehicle off. Not so good if you’re in a hurry or have to sit and wait with your vehicle.

I have been going there for years, and I have never been disappointed. Stan and Cody are always super helpful and kind, and today I called and spoke to Jonathon. I had been trying to get an oil change done and each time I’ve gone, they have been so busy (probably bc they are the best around 😊), but today he was able to make room in their schedule to get my oil change done for me. They are the BEST by far!!

This is a HUGE do not go here. First they supposedly replaced my brakes and rotors. $377 out the door. Next morning my brakes are squealing and grinding as though nothing had been done. Two days later, my brake light comes on. I take the car to the Gateway on Poplar Ave in Memphis. They tell me I now have a leaking caliper and need a $600 more in repairs. I told them I was not going to be able.to afford this. No one could give me a straight answer as to how you rear brakes are fine needed a major repair three days later. They filled the oil reservoir and told me I should be okay for a few days. Two weeks later...no brake light but my breaks are still grinding. I believe these people are crooks. I am terrified to take my car back there...there is no telling what they will do next!!! Take your car to 61 Tire on Lamar Ave in Memphis...honest guys there.

Great service. Polite staff. Dropped off my car at 8am and they called me at 10:30am to tell me it was ready. Got 4 new tires, oil change and new wiper blades. I would give more stars if I could! We were traveling with our camper and had a tire to blow out on it. We decided to get all new tires on the camper. We called at 3:30 on a Saturday to see if they had the tires we needed for camper. Even though they close at 4 and we were an hour away, manager Jonathan and two other workers, Tyler and Joey, offered to wait for us. After putting the new tires on the camper, they started asking about our trip. They recommend a great campground for us to stay at close by. I think they went above and beyond to help us! I had a flat tire at the last minute the night before my family was scheduled to leave for vacation. I made it to Gateway #1015 five minutes before they closed on a Friday night. They were so friendly, helpful and quick and wouldnt even let me tip them. They gained a loyal customer for life tonight!

The guys are knowledgeable and friendly. Take my work van here. And because of the good job they do on the van, I took my SUV there to get fixed and was very pleased with the work they did. A bit pricey but well worth it.

I have been going to gateway for 10 years at least.. Here lately my service has been crappy!!! I went in to get my tires rotated waited an hour and a half was told I needed 2 new front tires.. I bought tires in December 2015. They were suppose to have a 70,000 mile usage. They have about 25,000 miles on them as of now.. I have brought it in every 5000 miles for rotation. My back tires were fine my front were bad. This doesnt make sense to me because if they were rotating them properly they would have the same wear and tear as the front. When I asked why I needed them I was told I needed an alignment. That should have been noticed before now.. My car doesnt drive any different now than it has since I bought it. I was given some explanation of why they havent noticed instead of taking responsibility for their lack of communication with me and doing their jobs.. When I declined the tires the man I was dealing with got snippy and told them back my car out of the bay.. little did I no my tires did not get rotated!! This wasnt the first time I had a bad experience there but I always tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but this was the last time I step foot in gateway!

There are tire stores and mechanic shops, then there is Gateway tire. Hacks Cross is my go to store and for good reason. Friendly and knowledgable staff along with fair pricing. Always confident I’ll leave satisfied

When taking your car to a repair center, no matter the cost, you want the facility to have the highest level of care, service, quality and excellence, overall just a car repair company that you can trust . Faster than expected. Estimate of 2+ hours for oil, tire rotation and wipers ended up as under two hours. Nice people and comfortable.

Customer service is really good and the shop has all the tools for your tires and suspension needs. My only issue was that they told me my job would be done within an hour and that they would call me when done... Three hours later I went to the shop and they were just starting.

I love this place. Its close to home the employees are super friendly and very helpful and today I was in and out of there in an hour probably less. I recommend them to everybody.

BEWARE of their CONDITIONAL, “$59 diagnostic fee” that you must agree to pay (IN WRITING) BEFORE you’re given a quote for any repair!! Their $59 “diagnostic” fee doesn’t include any sort of VISUAL inspection of the vehicle. What this means is that the customer must agree to pay (in writing) a $59 “diagnostic” fee, in order for the “mechanics” to tell you the ESTIMATED repair costs, without their having actually seen the vehicle. (That ESTIMATED cost also includes ESTIMATED labor!!) Of course, they claim the diagnostic fee is “refundable”, but the fact is that they ONLY “refund” the fee, IF CUSTOMER FURTHER AGREES TO PAY FOR REPAIRS AS QUOTED!!...... They get customers on the “hook” for the $59, and then charge what they want! Don’t agree with the repair cost?? Too bad! (They’ve already charged you $59, before they tell you that cost) ...... TOTAL SCAM!!!!

Ive brought my car to Gateway in the past and appreciated the service, so when my air wasnt working I brought it here to get it checked out. One of the mechanics told me over the phone on Saturday that they could look at my AC for $39. Tuesday I bring my car in and suddenly its $129. Thats just the price to tell me whats wrong, not including any cost to get it actually fixed. He conveniently forgot to tell me about an extra $90 charge. Hate to say I wont be bringing my car here anymore. Christian Brothers Automotive has been way friendlier, is much more reasonably priced ($50 for the same service), and most important of all: is HONEST. I wont do business with a company that misrepresents the cost to that extent before youve even got into the door.

Took time out to check my problem no charge

Went in to get 2 tires and an alignment and, after the tires were on, was told my car was unsafe to drive and that I should have it towed if I wasnt going to get them to fix it, after getting an estimate of $1291 to replace 2 struts (which were only a year old), the lower control arm (which was fine), and the control arm mounting bracket (which they said had the threads worn off, although it was in pristine condition). I drove it home and replaced a damaged bushing and the washer and nut which were missing, for a total cost of $11.21. I went back to get an alignment and asked them to apply the $25 I had already paid them to lie to me to the cost of the alignment, and they said they couldnt do it, they could only give me a 10% discount.The most unethical business I have ever personally encountered.

They were fast with getting my tire replaced so that I could get along with the rest of my day. At first, customer service wasnt that great, probably since they were busy, but then they made it right!

Overpriced service, paided 36 dollars to have one tire mounted and balanced. Bought the tire online for the same dollar amount.

Didnt even tight my oil drain plug, all them oil came out before i get home. Paid for nothing, never again, if you do bring your car there make sure tell them pay the goddamn attention.

Told me my truck had to have synthetic. I didnt know so I just said ok. Plus only put five qts in when it needs 7. Before I went here truck didnt use oil at all for some reason now its using it horribly. Do not go here. Definitely do not recommend.

They always get me in and out because they familiar with my face by now lol.but great place i have let them do alot of work on my car but it is best to get your own parts first and then let them do the labor

Routine tire rotation, quick service, offered good advice, and service was free since I bought my tires at Gateway.

I will never give them my business. They became rude and condescending when I called them on in accurate information they tried to give. They literally tried to sell me services that I did not need and even worse were not needed. I hate to imagine haw many people they have taken advantage of that did not know better. Beware of this merchant.

These idiots put 2 different lug nuts on my vehicle!! And for the cherry on top..asked them to look at my suspension, THEY DIDNT PUT THE NUTS AND PINS BACK IN!!! Cost me over $2000!! I called and was dismissed!! I cancelled my credit card there!! I wouldnt let them put a tire or work on a bicycle!!!!!

Im posting this because of reviews I read after googling to get their phone number. We have been going to Gateway for the past year. I just left there after leaving our 2005 Nissan there last night for them to check the charging system. The car just needed a battery which they replaced after calling and confirming price. After finding out the alternator was ok, I asked them to replace the belts because they have been squealing. They check those out and called me back with pricing to install. Everything was done in a timely manner and they never tried to upsell me. We are very satisfied with their service.

Im from out of town and had car trouble. I went to Firestone and Mieneke and was quoted a long list of problems and over $600 from both places. I didnt believe them so I went to Gateway as a last resort and they told me what was really wrong. They had me out the same day under $100. I guess some places are out to make a buck but Gateway was there to make the honest buck.

These guys are terrible, I wanted an alignment on my 2006 Nissan 350 Z because I noticed my tired was starting to wear on the inside tread. Without looking at the tire, they insisted I needed new tires for their machine to work properly. In the next breath, he tells me for $20 he will put my car on that same machine (which wont work properly) and tell me which suspension part has failed. He tells me the tire wear (which he hasnt seen) is a result of a failed part on my front end. I took my keys back, and went to Zelners in Collierville, they gave me an alignment. Since that day, Ive put lots of miles on the car, and the tires are wearing normally. Dont go to these guys!

Went to Gateway because I thought I needed new brakes. To my surprise, the guys told me that I did not need brakes and that the noise that I heard could have been from the car sitting and rubbing against breakdust. In my experience, it is rare to find someone as onest as these guys. Rather than upsell me on products that I did not need, they were honest and did not even charge me for the diagnostics. I will be sure to use them everytime moving forward because they earned it.

This place promised a 30-45 minute tire change for 4 new tires. I was the first one there in the morning and 90 minutes later, my car still wasnt finished. Nobody offered any explanation to my wait, they just kept taking in more cars. And their coffee was terrible.
