I used Ferrell gas many years ago and they were great. Not so good NOW. I called and placed an order for new service, they were prompt and did a good job of installing and filling my tank. I was supposed to be locked in at a price for one year. When I placed another order for refill, the price was double my lock in price. After talking to a manager on the phone, they reduced my price but it was still $93 more than my lock in. When I called again for refill, (they gave me a new lock in price on the last call) they said I was not locked in for the second time.They have done nothing but lie to me over the phone. I will eliminate that problem in the near future. I will never use them again and I highly recommend to everyone to avoid them at all cost.
Someone from the corporate office needs to revamp this location personnel wise. I have used Ferrellgas with 2 corporate accounts and will never use them again. I have been calling with no answer. I was calling when I walked into the facility and the man was just sitting at the desk listening to the phone ring. After sitting at the back dock for an hour waiting to get tanks filled, I am now leaving going to Amerigas.

Worst company ever to do business with just like all the other reviews on here, I have a business dealing with Hawkins is the worst ever, always says they are going to deliver and never do.
My first experience with customer service was fine, really nice lady. I set up new service and received a quote. 3 weeks later haven’t seen or heard from anyone so I call back and they informed me they see my order but they don’t know why no one came out yet.Fast forward to last week where I paid almost $400 for gas in advance and was told I would be filled no later than 12/20. Here it is 12/20 and I call to check on my order and I’m told that someone came out yesterday but my dogs were in the yard so they left without filling my tank. Except I was home all day because I’m a stay at home mom and no one knocked or called my phone. When I asked why they didn’t knock all I’m told is “I don’t know what they did. I’m not from there and I don’t know those drivers.” When asked when they will redeliver as my gas is at 10%, the response is I don’t know. What kind of company is this? They take your money well in advance and make minimal effort to deliver your gas if they try at all. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. They will let you and your kids freeze and hold your money and gas hostage. Shame on them!
I’m currently without propane. I placed and paid for a delivery on February 4th, 2021 . I was told it would be delivered by the 15th . It is now Valentine’s Day . Yesterday, I watched Ferrell Gas drive by my residence 3 times . I have called every number possible . Who ever creates the routes for delivery, needs to readjust themselves or even fired. I watched them deliver to a property adjacent to my house. A building that is hardly occupied .
This company has HORRIBLE customer service. Called over 2 weeks ago to get a propane refill. Was told it would be by Feb 8th. Feb 8th came and no refill. Was told yesterday Feb 10th we were on schedule, no one showed up or called. Called them today twice and was told we were not on schedule for today and they werent sure why. Someone would call me. No call back. We are in the middle of a very cold snap and are almost completely out of gas. I would never recommend them!
THiS IS THE WORST COMPANY EVER, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND THEY DNT want TO BRING OUT GAS UNLESS UR EXTREMELY LOW. The people at this location are very condescending they told me they would come out to fill my tank up between the third and fourth when they did not show on the third of fourth I called and I called and I left my number they never called back so the next time I waited on hold for 30 minutes when finally a lady answered and when I told her my problem Her answer was I don’t mean to sound facetious but I’m not the only one that has a tank that needs to be filled and at that point when I told her I was willing to pay $200 extra to have them come out the next day and fill my tank because I have young children at home and it is going to get down in the 20s she kept me on hold for another 20 minutes and then turn me over to another lady who said she was going to talk to the scheduling department and ask for the best number to call me back and she never called me back I found the people at this location to be very unprofessional and not one bit caring or understanding I believe as soon as the rent on this tank is up I’m going to find another company
Company told me they was coming within 5 days of payment. Called again and they said it would be on February 11, 2021 by 11am... called today and she said we not on the route for today on February 11.... Company just doesn’t know when your gas will be delivered and we about to run out.
Website and door say they close at 5. I walked in the door at 422 and told the guy I needed a bottle filled. He said they were closed. Drive from Eudora only to be told that they close sometime around 5 but really around 4 but theres someone there until 5. What kind of business is this?

You order gas and they tell you that you get it a week later. Then they are late doing that. Good thing I dont have an emergency or I would be in BIG TROUBLE!!!!!! I guess they work at their own convenience!!!!! They have no concerns for their customers!!!!! I’m very disappointed with Ferrell Gas. I have been a customer for years now. Recently I had an emergency where I ran low of gas, and I asked them bring me some out over the holidays and the end result was me have to move my family to South MS for the holidays. On December 7 I received 100 gallons and on December 27 I was out. That’s very unusual for us to use that much gas that fast so I called for more on the 27. The sales representative was very nasty and rude, I explain to her that I had a 2 year old and a 2 month old in the home. She stated It was nothing she could do!!!
Fast and friendly business. Got to love the Mid South. Would recommend this business to anyone who asked.
