Why GOOGLE doesn’t have negative star rating.? One star is to generous for this place! Come here if you need to do your 10 hour brake. Probably worst place to get loaded checked in at 11:50 for 12:00 appointment no door till 5:15 pm. Finally loaded at 7pm. 7:15 got paperwork and out. Good thing I gained my driving hours after sitting here for more than 7 hours. Otherwise no parking around this place. Yard guy is watching you, must leave after they load you.

The previous reviews are spot on. This place is a logistical cluster fu(k, management apparently has no concept of time and or getting product to the customer. Zero respect for drivers whom keep America moving. You are nothing without truck drivers. Personally if I was the one whom managed this facility I would really think about changing careers.
They are quick to load once you get into the dock very friendly but bring dinner and supper I waited 23 hrs before getting loaded but still they were nice and respectable
Awful experience in at 1230 Saturday afternoon finally called to a dock at 2300, loaded at paperwork at 3:45 Sunday morning over 15 hours and will miss my delivery now. Idk if it’s a staffing issue or overbooking either way I would avoid this place at all costs. Got minimum sleep because I was only up for two hours before arriving so I wasn’t tired and now have to drive my 11 to even get somewhere close to my delivery time which I will still be hours late for . Great job guys 👎🏻
I would rate this place zero stars. They took 12 hours to load us, and they so obviously overbooked trucks it should be criminal. They had no less than 30 trucks on site at all times and had to route people to adjacent, off-site overflow parking. Their parking area is run like a synchronized swimming routine for blue whales, but badly. They only run 4-8 live load docks making their output and expectations for loading mismatched very badly. They have either outgrown their own dock facilities due to factory output increase beyond logistical design, or they are just really bad at arithmetic. I will not service this firm again.

Came with husband to get loaded they are very friendly and help in anyway. However, the wait is very long so bring something to do if your the seat cover. Lol
1 hour before appt. 7 hours later assigned to a door, sometimes faster but be ready to wait (you cannot stayafter be loaded) staff office is polite.

Randy is being rude we stood outside for more than 15 mins. With saying a good morning hello how are you. He is holding in office conversations and laughing while he see 4 people waiting outside . And if another drive that did not work for say anything he would not have said nothing to the rest of us. That drive mention he was already two hours late. At least speak and say hey hang on like we are actually human. Even when I said excuse me he had no response. But when a coworker was saying something from another office in front of him it stop conversation laughter as we stand outside.

6 hours to get loaded. Used to run tankers in here and it took just as long to unload and wash.

Must be a bad day. Sunday 06/14/2020.Broker told me it was going to be a while.Staff at the check in window told meIt was going to be awhile.Checked in 2pm.Now 1030pm.Lots of trucks going nowhere.Great place for 10hr.

My experience is different than most here, the company I drive for has a drop and hook policy with them but I can say my trailer was ready at least 2 hours before it was scheduled.

Directions: Hwy 5 to Broad St. to Dodge St. turn left into truck yard. Dont go down adjacent side streets. No truck signs and there are cameras to catch you. No overnight parking but can come 2 hours before appt time. Opened gate. Park in lot then check in. Wait for jockey to come to your truck for a door and also when youre done loading/unloading. Waiting times varies day to day.
It was easy got there got a dock after turning on the reefer then took 2½ hours to get loaded

As a delivery driver with their product they would not let me rest in their property. A yard jockey driver woke me up, told me to leave and said he dont care about my log book thats not his problem
I am enjoying my time at HP Hood the people there are friendly and helpful. The future there is bright.
If you have pick up in HP HOOD You should take a red wine with you. Because it takes a long time to loading:(

Check in process is OK. Dont need to check in at guard, only once in office then wait for the jockey to give you a door.This is where the problems start..... Wait 3.5 hours to get a door, then another couple hours to get loaded. They seem like they are moving trucks in and out fairly quickly, but you cant schedule 20 trucks at the same time and expect things to run efficiently. Whats the point of having an appointment?
I had gotten right into a dock and it only took about 2.5 hours to get loaded. I will definitely go back!
Deliver raw milk here frequently.. The milk receivers are good people but I seem to spend hours here waiting to get unloaded..anywhere from 5-8 hrs..

Super great people pulled into the place @ 0415 on 7-Aug-2017 for a 0900 appointment time. I got backed into a dock @ 0420, @ 0450 I was driving out of this place super job, very polite. Two thumbs up on the whole staff, they do not play around.

I have been to this place twice in last 2 weeks. I have sat way past my appointment time and they refuse to load my trailer. I would not recommend coming here if you dont have to I am here now and my app was for 9 a.m and i am in a door and there 4 hours is well over they still havent touched my trailer to load it.

Easy check in and load process, always been loaded on time or a little early. Pleasant people to deal with in shipping, easy to find and good lot for moving around inside.
No overnight parking. 2 hrs in a door before they started loading. Easy parking lot to maneuver. Truck entrance is off of Broad street. No sign letting you know to turn at light off of Hwy 5. Truck entrance can be tight if one truck is leaving and another is entering at the same time. Typical big company mentality, expected you to know how they prefer do everything before you arrive even if youve never been here before.
Really good shipper overall, lots of space to maneuver, finding the truck entrance can be a little tricky. Put this address in GPS. 580 Broad st, Oneida NY. Come in and park, check in with the office and youre good to go

One of the worst companies to pick up a load. My appointment was a 4 p.m I came half hour before . They gave me a dock at 7:40 is already 10 p.m and still loading. Very slow people.Update: they finish the unloading at midnight. Horrible place!!

Terrible place would not come here again. Used to be able to park finish break. Now you cannot stay. Need flash staying anyway until break was done. ere we go I told my review of the place was going to change all of a sudden I can stay maybe if you cared about other people more than your review you would be better.that just makes you worse
Drivers don’t hold loads from this place shipper doesn’t pay detention and they hold trucks 8-10 hrs no overnight parking stay away from this place. Pls review this place. remember they need us.

Everytime I bring in a tanker I sit for hours waiting to be unloaded in a bay. Most of the time whoever is on shift never shows up. I have to sit and wait for the next shift to take over for me to get unloaded. Ive delivered multiple times and get the same ignorance everytime.
4/30 waiting door. Then i Gott door. 3hrs red light kep flashing. I dnt knw when they will finishing up. bt nobody cares about ur time, ELD .The good thing i put them my list. Slowest guys evr am never coming bck here.

Dont load 1 hour before appointment. They dont let u park also. There is parlor across street for parking or walmart 2 miles away. 5 hours loading time.

This facility holds the trucks for multiple hours even if you are on time for your pick up appointment. With ELD around you will spent most of the 14 hour shift at this place and have no time left to drive. After that you will get stuck with this freight on board of your truck for several days because you would miss the delivery appointment.

2nd time coming here and happy with the employees work here. No security guard check in but park ur truck, before check in at make sure ur trailer is clean and precooled to 35f then check with the office then wait in your truck, someone will come and give you a door. When finished pull out of the dock, park again, go to office, get ur paperwork and gtfo
