Yesterday I came in to get my new phone activated since I broke my other one. I was a bit frustrated calling the number to speak with a representative so I came in to get help. They had me on hold for almost an hour and it didnt seem like neither sim card would work. First I spoke with who Im assuming was new (I believe she was a trainee.). She tried helping with my sim card problem and when she couldnt do it she went to get a co-worker for help. She was very friendly too and helpful with some knowledge I didnt know about phones like taking out the battery might help some problems. She told me to try that when the new phone couldnt read the sim card.At first it seemed we couldnt get it activated, although the employee was persistent on helping and did an excellent job. It got to the point I felt keeping my number wasnt worth the hassle so I told him to just get me a new one. He said if it didnt work after this try hed do it and it worked. I kept my same number too! I felt bad because it was near closing time and most businesses at closing time clean up and prepare for the next day.I cant really remember their name, but I think it was Mason (guy with short blonde hair). If management sees this I hope you reward this employee for their great work!

The employees were incredibly helpful during my familys visit. They helped me get on plan with my boyfriend and work with my father and his girlfriend to switch over to first net. The employees were very personable and we all got along well. They stayed open almost an hour later to help finish setting up our new plan and cell phones. The 45 minute drive there was completely worth it. I would absolutely go back.

Said they were open on their website. I walked over to the shop at 200pm and the doors were locked with a paper sign taped up on the inside of the window that said they were cleaning and that they would open back up at 435. It takes 3 hrs to clean a small shop? Excuse me? I peered through their window and there were just 3 of the laziest people I have ever seen just sitting around and doing nothing.

I would like to thank Kurt at this AT&T store for the incredible service and personal attention. My husband and I are not very tech savvy and needed guidance in obtaining phones and a plan and the know-how to set up these accounts. Besides walking out w a new phone. And one that was appropriate for our needs. We also had the peace of mind that if there was any confusion we would be welcome to call or come in to resolve any problem. And these were not just platitudes. I did come in for resolving confusion on an issue and walked out with being happily “un-confused “. And if you call 611 you can actually speak to a pleasant and helpful representative. Not get a tech-buddy on messenger. Very happy here.

The employees are very helpful, patient, and willing to go the extra mile to solve your problems. Tonight, due to a screwup at corporate, I had a new phone that didnt match what was in the system. Due to the IMEI and SIM numbers not matching, my number was ported from Verizon to a SIM card I didnt have, and the new phone had a temporary number, while my number was hanging in limbo. 45 minutes on the phone with tech support yielded no results, since the new SIM card had a number attached to it already. Xaviar, at the Oneonta store, stayed late to get me a blank SIM and get my number working on the new phone. A++++ customer service!

Not terrible but made two trips for a single line activation becoz rep didnt gave any details about the plan, also forgot to give pass code for online account, gave the sim card and says you ate all done .so later i called the At&t for online account help they says i need to go to the store, funny though.🙃🙃🙃.

Great people, but not enough staff for the customers. Ended up waiting over an hour to see someone, and then the equipment the clerk used kept crashing which extended in-store time even more. Finally, when I got home with my new phone and new coverage, I discovered the map of coverage att used and showed me was not true. Despite what their map said, there is no coverage at my house.

Our customer service rep, TJ, was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. He explained how to install our new wireless internet LTE router, answered all questions, and gave us his business card, with his direct cell number, in case we had any problems. This is reassuring, because if you call the store and the call goes to voice-mail, you get routed to the call center. Its good to know we can call TJ if we need help. Weve been using the router for a month and no problems. Thank you, TJ, and we recommend AT&T.

Nobody ever answers the phone there... I have called 7 times in the last 2 days during their normal operating hours and nobody answers. We picked up a brand new phone on Wednesday, it doesnt work (the lady didnt activate it properly so we had to call to do that over the phone, and the data doesnt work now). After spending several hours on the phone with AT&T, they cant seem to figure it out and said we need to go back to the store for a different phone. I am trying to reach them to just make sure they have another of the same model/color in stock so I dont waste another 45 minute trip. Very aggravating!!! Should have switched service when I had the chance!

Jordyn spent the necessary time to make our transition to up to date phones, a relaxing experience. She also was taking the time to sign in and welcome others, which is important. Tom and I had made an appointment online early in the day which is helpful.

I visited the store on 6/2/2019 and was unfortunate enough to have a gentlemen named David attempt to assist me. This guy has very poor customer service skills and I recommend he immediately gets placed in a cubicle with no ability to interact with other humans. David is a poor representation for AT&T and the more customers he interacts with, the more business Verizon will receive.

Came in to add line to my acct. In store for 10 minutes before talking to rep. Waited awhile to talk to another rep. Other rep was all business, very little personal conversation. Few questions when clarification may be needed from either party. They did their job but nothing to get excited about. Other rep with customers seems to be conversing well while doing his job too.....they seem to be having a more pleasant experience.

Had a great time at the Oneonta store. David was sweet and entertaining while we upgraded our phones. No wait time (holy hell that never happens) and very charmed with him. Very helpful, knowledgeable on the current sales and sold us on HBOmax plan so we could watch tv while waiting for our iPhones to load via the icloud. 10/10 will recommend ;)

I have been an at&t customer for 9 years now and have received great customer service over the years until recently. Yesterday after my phone was stolen I stopped in this store looking for a solution. Not only was the rep I dealt with condesending but pushed for me to seek out a new device from competitors and offered no information on devices displayed in the store. In addition to the terrible service most all devices displayed in the store I was told were out of stock. Id recommend closing this location if they dont carry current devices in stock and have poorly informed reps with bad attitudes why have a store at all. Save yourself a head ache and seek else where for wireless solutions, advice given by at&t reps themselves.

Staff were distracted and talking bad about each other. Spent more time talking to each other then to a customers. I was upgrading phones and had to finish the set up in the store myself. Sales rep started the process and then left. I needed help with a step and had to track someone down. Little disappointed with the service.

AT&T is a tough review because i got caught by my own ignorance. Always get every promise in writing because different sales people (who work on commission) will give you different answers. I ended up with 3 notepads @$20per month for 2 years instead of $10 per month able to disconnect at any time. So im a little miffed at that but the service when you have a problem is top notch and readily available even when travelling. So i am happy with the service but not happy with broken promises and short term memory. Answer ... do business with att but get everything .... and i mean every specific promise you are counting on ... in writing.

My entire family switched over to AT&T over the summer, and we were told wed receive 2 Galaxy S9s for the price of 1. I was initially going to get a OnePlus 6, but I figured it was too good of a deal to turn down, so I caved and went with it. The rep assured us all was good, handed us our phones, and within an hour or two everything was set and we felt wed got a great deal. A month later, they charge us full price for the S9s, deny responsibility for ever offering us that deal, and say to take it up with HQ, who just refers us back to this hell hole. That was 6 months ago and we call every month when the bill comes in, and they continually refuse and deny the deal, despite me clarifying many times during the initial setup that it was truly as simple as they said, because truth be told, Im not really a Samsung fan, and was mostly getting it for the deal. Although Verizon isnt free of sketchiness, I was with them for more than 5 years and had never had to deal with such a messed up situation.

This store is PATHETICALLY slow. I went in to purchase a new phone, after waiting for an hour and a half I left because there was STILL two people ahead of me. I went back the next day and finally was able to complete my transaction after spending another 2 hours. Unfortunately, I had to go back to get the screen protection and case I wanted (seems like a simple in and out transaction), but had to leave so I wasnt late for work, so they lost a $100 sale...and any future sales from me. If youre going to shop at this store, make sure you plan ahead...youll be there for a while.

I live around here, and whenever I go here they are always kind and help me as soon as possible. Of course they run on a first come first serve basis, there are usually only two people working there. ❤️❤️❤️ I recommend this particular store to people who dont mind a little wait and excellent help.

After reading some other reviews, its like Im reading about a different store. Jesse served me immediately, and he had my Hotspot SIMmed and running in literally less than two minutes. He didnt hassle me in any way, and this was the best cell phone service Ive ever experienced. All this after trying to activate my smartphone myself with two different incompatible SIM cards (one used, another wrong size), spending hours getting bounced around by AT&Ts web site and phone support, and just plain wasting money. I wish I had gone here first.
