Went in today to get my firearms and safety test. Gavin was so helpful he remembered me calling about the test and that my boyfriend and I were coming in together to test. Great customer service.

I purchased my hand gun here. It is a Smith and Wesson 9mm. I also bought a gun case, and just recently a box to hold my ammo. Theres a lot of bad reviews about the employees not helping customers out but personally I think theyre giving great customers service, and taking there time with each customer as they did with me. They are very knowledgeable on guns and ammo.

Went to 3 different ammo brothers stores and walked out of everyone of them. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. 4 guys behind the counter helping no one and 20 guys waiting for help. Never seen anything like it.

There is no customer service here. I ordered a gun 4 months ago online. Every single time I have tried to call them they do not pick up the phone. For 4 months no one picked up the phone to give me an update on the status of the gun I purchased. When you go to the physical store, there is always a line of 20 people. I dont get it. To get info on my order status at somewhere else takes 3 minutes max over the phone. But this place makes you go to the store and wait hours for an update, and when you find out your gun isnt ready after 4 months, you wait in line for hours and leave empty handed. I dont get how another gun store hasnt opened and taken these guys customers because Im actively looking for another place to buy my gun.

It was a pleasant trip. Got in & out relatively quickly. Wish it could be like this all the time. On most visits I regret choosing Ammo Bros.Usually the workers have customers standing around as they ignore you. Not even a Someone will be with you shortly/soon. They just act like youre not there.

Ive read reviews talking bout staff didnt wait on them and whatnot. I found my experience to be quite the opposite. Staff waited on me a minute upon my arrival. I checked out different pieces until I picked a 23 glock, the gentleman went over all my paperwork, told me what I needed to bring back with me. When my day came to pickup my weapon, again staff waited on me right away. Signed all the necessary paperwork, bought ammo and exited the store. The 23 I bought is beautiful, gave me a case, lock, extra mag. Ill be going back for a 27 or 9 soon. I recommend Ammo Bros

Overall experience was hopeful but negative.Waited long time(maybe 2 1/3 hours) for ammo purchase and only had a box.Ended up placing an order of a handful of ammo that was estimating to a month or two. It’s been past 3 months and got a call regarding the fulfillment of ammo not being able to be met due to demand.Now I understand the ammo scarcity is severe but having someone wait for ammo and not deliver because a time frame isn’t projected nor estimated is INSANE. Very bad business model on sales.Sad to see all negative reviews on this location is spot on considering having high hopes for this shop to be decent.

This place is the absolute worst experience I have had. Customer service is atrocious, the lines are too long (had to wait 3+ hours to pick up a firearm), they only let in 3-4 people in at a time (Bullseye Sport lets everyone in), they make you wear a mask (Bullseye Sport does not), these people are the worst. Never coming here again.

The employees here are INCREDIBLY lazy, rude and condescending. Only helping out 4-5 people per hour!! 4-5 workers and when miracles happen, you have 2 people actually working. The rest walk around and pretend to be busy. You wait in line for hours just to be told sorry. We wont be able to help you. Come back tomorrow. Go to ANY other ammo bros or gun shop. Avoid this place. 1 single line for EVERYTHING. So a quick gun pick up will take hours.

My Uncle and I had went here to do a transfer on 12/26/2020. We waited in line from 3:45 PM to 5:50 PM when one of the workers came out and told us they were closed when we were at the front of the line. We went inside and asked them if they could please do our transfer since my Uncle had drove all the way from Hemet to do the transaction. They told us they couldnt since they had tons of transactions to complete (even though there was only one customer in there at this point and all the other workers were all standing and talking behind the counter.) My Uncle asked why they hadnt came out sooner and let us and all the other people outside who were waiting in the cold know sooner, so we could go somewhere else and they just shrugged. About 5 minutes after we walked out, all of the workers came out and got in there cars to leave including the person that claimed they had so much work to do. This place was very unprofessional in their handling of this incident considering they didnt close till 6:00 PM. Its worth the longer drive to go somewhere else with the gas you are going to waste to keep coming back here to a place that doesnt care about its customers.

Went to buy my first gum sigp226 they all acted like they were better than everyone. Every one inside are rude you ask a question its like you get a attitude back for asking. Went to turners better prices, customer service, managers are nice, been turners customer for 7 yrs. Never again ammo brothers worse service and attitudes

Waited outside for two and a half hours, this was our 2nd visit, was pretty much the same as the first. After a two hour wait a client left the store & one client was let in. There were five employees poking their noses inside, doing nothing & ignoring the 10 ppl waiting in line. Horrible customer service, lazy workers & over rated.

First time to Ammo Brothers, After waiting in line for hours they sent me away unserved. They decided to change their hours at that moment. From 8pm to 6pm. I would no have even went had I known what I know. Website should be updated with new hours.

Sine covid they make you wait for hours upon hours outside, just to find out they dont have what you need, and 0 phone communication.

Came here today with one of my co workers (who was male) was greeted by the manager and help out by the store associate Terry. He was very knowledgable and taught me a lot about gun safety, how to properly hold a gun as well as figuring out what eye dominant I was. He showed me proper gun stance and showed me a wide variety of compact guns as well as a few revolvers. He explained bullet sizes to me so I can get an idea of how big certain bullets were and I left there feeling very informed. Their guns are priced very reasonable as well. I didnt purchase a gun today but I purchased some gel pepper spray and the manager rung me up. He didnt come off as friendly or talkative as the store associate that was helping me but I did introduce myself and received a smile from him. Will definitely be back and ask for Terry since he explained things so well, was very kind and didnt make me feel bad for knowing absolutely nothing about guns since it was my first time handling a gun.

Great experience at this location the guy helping me was very knowledgeable on various different fire arms and helped me pick the perfect one I am very happy with my purchase thank you Alex, the store has plenty of fire arms to choose from from hunting to home protection, he also recommended a great cleaning product that I read about afterwards and its the best you can get and they have it for a great price cool selection of scoped and arms safes as well

They don’t answer their phone, waited hours before I could even speak to someone, then was informed my Birth Cert wasn’t acceptable. Nowhere was this documented, in fact, the manager had to point to DMV regulations. He didn’t have it documented yet I’m supposed to know. I asked if he cared what his customer had go through just to get the proper info and he arrogantly responds “no I don’t”. Wasted money here and don’t recommend you buy a single bullet from this place. Find a proper place that takes care of their customers.

I have bought several weapons from this store. Kyle B is one of the most helpful employees of anywhere I have been. He’s extremely knowledgeable and patient with his customers. He treats all his customers with the same courtesy. With his assistance, you will be confident with whatever you purchase. My next purchase will definitely be through Kyle.

I enjoy going here when I am in town. The guys behind the counter are friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are competitive and they have a good selection of holsters, cases, and even safes. They seem to be able to get anything you need and their prices are competitive for California.

Pretty messed up of you. Your website says your open. Google says your open. Your Facebook page says you are open. And the sign on your days says you are open. On Sunday at 1000. But not surprisingly your not actually open. How hard is it for you to update any of that info. What a waste of time. I spend a lot of money at your store. Went to this location to purchase ammo and bore cleaner. I stood at the front of the line for 5 minutes waiting before the employees even acknowledged me. After about 15 minutes someone told me they would be with me in a few minutes. At this point I just set my items on the counter and left. Went to bass pro and gave them my money and was outta there pretty quick. Never going back to Ammo Brothers.

It was Independence Day and I thought to myself, today has to be the day I buy my first firearm. The employees there were immediately welcoming. I was helped by Yvette and she guided me through the steps of buying my first weapon. Took my handgun safety test. Passed with flying colors! A man named Jeff B. provided me with a lot of info about which gun I should first own. Incredibly helpful and kind, even with my total lack of knowledge. He told me, go with a handgun that YOU like, because if you dont like the gun, you wont shoot it. So, I took his advice and got a brand new Springfield XD40. My entire visit lasted about 1.5 hours. And there was not one second where I felt lost or unwelcome. All the employees are very knowledgeable from their own experiences. This store will definitely be my go-to store from now on. And I would definitely recommend to everyone.

Just as mentioned by another, there customer service skills suck. I went when there was only me and 2 other people. I stood around for 20 minutes not once did anyone say anything to me. No acknowledgement that we were even in the store. I havent been to this store in a couple years for just rude customer service. But I see that people never change theres ways.The riverside store seems to be better. I guess they just care about the 2a not just profits.Officially I will never go to Ontario again, maybe not any of the stores ever.

They are very short on staff. Leaving a very long line outside the store. Averaging 3 people per hour.

Absolute absurd. Was there two weeks ago and bought a gun. They had a system where you put your name down then you could sit in your car or leave and then they call when its your turn. They also told me that I can make an appointment to pickup the gun. I showed up on Saturday because they dont pickup their phone or respond to emails. They said my DROS was cleared and its first come first serve service. Had to wait in a line outside for over 4 hours in the sun. I got a really bad sunburn because I was unprepared for their new system. They treat their customers with such disrespect that I will never go back.

I just recently went to the Ontario location to buy a bulk of 9mm and 12g buck shot as well as a knife but didn’t get any help with ammo or the knife. I waited about 20-25 minutes before leaving. There were 5 employees and 3 customers and myself. I mostly go to the Riverside and Santa Ana location because they’re closer to me from my house and work, I was told that Ontario has items that I wanted there so I went out of my way and made the drive to only get disappointed and walk out with nothing. Definitely won’t go back to the Ontario location regardless of “deals, items they carry, and discounts” the very least they should do is at leas acknowledge you and say “sorry about the wait, we’ll be with you in a bit” but I didn’t get that. This is more for people who are thinking about driving to their location and obviously even people who live near the Ontario location.

I’ve been coming here every once and a while to purchase ammo and other things. But it seems as though everyone working here is rude and Don’t want to answer any questions. I only own a few guns and have a question or two, when ever I ask one question they answer as if I’m stupid, it’s always the white girl thats the rudest. I can’t even pay with my Debit card without getting an attitude from them. Started coming in only to pick what I wanted and just leave without talking to anyone, but I’m sick of it I’m never coming back going to Turners, they know how to treat there costumers . I was about to purchase a firearm but just had a bad feeling about them so I went elsewhere and I ended up spending less to get more. Im very happy I didnt spend money here.

Went to orange show gunshow 2 weeks ago and bought a gun. I could have bought this gun from any booth but noticed when I was asking questions about the gun that the Ammo Bros booth was the most professional booth there. There knowledge about guns was better than the rest there. I go pick up the gun today from there store and will leave a follow up post about there customer service in store. For now I give them a 5 star.

Jesse O and a few of the other staff members have been a great pleasure to do business with. The wait times were unreal during holiday season but overall highly recommend ammo bros. Consistently better prices than bass pro and often better than turners.

This place is such a bad experience, I ordered a firearm and only received the transaction email. I emailed and called the online info number on that email i received and no answer. I left several voicemails, I sent emails and no response. I called Ontario Ammo Bros and spoke to Kyle and he was no help. How are you not going to know whats going on with my order? All he said was to wait until he received it and its been several days. On there website it says specifically That they ship the day after order placed. DONT ORDER FROM THERE WEBSITE AND DONT SHOP HERE.

In July of 18 I purchased a lower reciever there. The paperwork was the easiest I have experienced as it was just a couple pages and done as opposed to the small book at Turners or the computer at Bass Pro. They were very helpful and attentive to my questions. Once I knew what I wanted I was checked out in 10 minutes. Their selection is better than the other places I mentioned and the prices are better than fair.

As always a great experience. Very nice and knowledgeable staff. Had questions about new gun laws and they knew and answered all my questions. Would highly recommend them for all your gun and ammo needs.

They have forever lost my business. I bought my wife a Ladys Smith 357 at the Costa Mesa gun show and of course its busy and we were passed off several times to various people until we finally got all the paperwork done. Id say I took about an hour from start to finish. Now the wait is on. The reason for the purchase was we were planning a range day trip of about eight friends up to some property in Campo and we were really excited to try out this new pistol. We had plenty of time to get the gun since we cod pick it up after the ten day hold. We get it Tuesday and we can get a new holster and a few other things so she can be comfortable with her new gun. Ten days comes and goes so we jump in the car and drive up to the Mira Mar store but when we get there they cant find the gun. Actually they cant even find the paperwork let alone the almost $800 gun. So about 40 minutes later we get the Ill call you tomorrow line. Well tomorrow comes and goes and still nothing. I waited another day and still got nothing. I call back and nobody knows what going on with the missing gun and paperwork. Well of course Im not real happy with the lack of customer service and so I start calling the other branches to try and get ahold of a manage or regional manager that can get me some answers. No one can help so I call the San Diego branch again and got some really nice guy that seemed to care and he promised me that someone would call me right away. That was the best service I received from this company. About five minutes later I got some guy with an attitude and very unapologetic call me and say he was the general manager. He said they were shorthanded and they didnt know were the gun was because it never got unloaded from the Costa Mesa gun show. He said all the paperwork was fine and the background check was good but the gun was sent to the Las Vegas Shot show. How does this happen? Yeah, just short handed, not sorry? Not what I wanted to hear. I get a call back from the one guy that was helpful and asked if I wanted to cancel the transaction but Id eat the almost $40 that goes to the state so I said no. He told me he would have the gun Monday and Id get a call when it came in. Of course we didnt get to take it to range day so theres that, and wouldnt you know it, no call on Monday. I finally called on Tuesday and had to explain everything again to the guy on the phone and he said bummer. Well yeah this has been a major bummer. My wife picked up the gun on Thursday since she was in the area and they offered her a 10% discount on ammo when she was there. Thats not how you fix this colossal screw up on your part. I was warned by several of my friends that have had their own bad experiences with ammo bros but I made the mistake of not listening. Listen to this, I will never use ammo bros again. One star for the guy that helped, thanks dude

I been here quite a few times, including buying 2 firearms. Best ammo selection! Staff is always helpful and patient. My only complaint is, I wish there was one closer to Victorville!! Ill be back for sure.

Ive been in here twice. Both times the staff was friendly and helpful. The second time it took me a while to get service but it was busy so it was understandable. They have target grade ammo that they load which saves me money. The selection of some items is extensive, for others not so much. One has to understand that it is a small small shop compared to some others (Bass Pro for ex.) so they cant carry everything. I will come here again.

Bought a weapon here and they sold me a lock never show up when I was bag. When I came back and told them about it they were real rude.

Waited in line for 45 mins and instead of letting the few people in line inside they said the place was closed and turned everyone away. Place closes at 6pm and we were turned away at 5:20pm. Bad Business rather go to Turners next time.

Good products and variety. Horrible customer service. I asked a simple question and it felt like I got a lecture. Im a younger person, but grew up in the gun environment and dont need to be lectured. I actually carry a gun for a living as well.Also, for some reason they had a weight list for a S&W Shield. . . Every other store thought that was absurd. Oh well. They run a tight ship there. Everything is orderly, and all of the workers there know what they are doing. This made the whole experience a whole lot more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place.

This is a scam company, definitely dont visit this place dont buy theyre shetty stuff. Theyve tried to rip me off 200$ pretending that I want to cancel a contract. Ive brought all the legal papers that they asked and lost all day waiting to pick up a hunting gun. At the end of tha day I had nothing just a headache. Ill sue them and fill up a complain at the consumer protection

Nicely organized shop. Ammo bulk buys are pretty cool picked up a good deal on some ammo today. Looks like a great gun, rifle, and shotgun varieties to choose from. Only 4 stars because I didnt get a lot of help. They offered, then all were to busy once I hada second to decide nbd tho. I would definitely recommend the place, and return again myself.

I still rate their service of five and even though I was not able to pick up my weapons today and that I purchase at the gun show and the only reason is because there is actually a mistake on my paperwork and if they didnt catch this mistake and I got pulled over by the police I can get in trouble cuz paper work does not match the weapon that I bought so they did a good job by catching an air I have to wait 10 more days which is fine I can live with that and I was helped and Ontario California why a girl named Ashley and she was very helpful and she does her job well so yes I recommend this place to everyone

I cannot express how glad I am that I came here!After being disappointed (to the point of anger) after standing in line for almost 2 hours up the street at Bass Pro, and being treated like a child by some jerk behind the counter at Turners, I didnt expect much better at Ammo Bros.But after being served after just a few minutes by a friendly, helpful and knowledgeable person, I knew I would never go back to those other places again!I ended up with a new Sig Sauer, and was in-and-out in about 40 min, start to finish.Well done!

Ive waited at a lot of gun stores lately but this one...WOW. I waited an hour and a half and didnt move in the line at all. They let 4 people in when the store opened, 4 people came out and we still didnt move. What a joke.

If youve been a customer for years and purchased literally dozens of firearms......youd expect a little customer service. Even when I had a huge firearms manufacture representative call direct to attempt a transfer.....he was shocked by the lack of service. Taking my purchases and transfers elsewhere from now on. They use to be good. Bummer.

Customer service here is mechanical, the Management is not apologetic if there is a mistake, misunderstanding, or a misprint in thier advertising. They would rather you leave unhappy and unsatisfied. To me that is not good customer service. I will shop other Ammo Brothers from now on. This is the only place with this problem and Ive noticed it during several separate visits.

Place is a joke, 1 person at a time to go in. When we got there the gentalman that was waiting outside the gate to go in said he had an appointment since 11:30 am to get in just to buy a couple of boxes of ammo. It was 4pm when we got there. Needless to say we walked out.

After visiting the place 4 times, i can honestly say It needs improvement...even Active Service Discount, the guy told us that It is already included in the price.In general, the boys seem to be no friendly towards minorities. Sad... the gun community I know in CA is not that way in general.I originally thought the guy was having a bad day... it looks like it wasnt the case as all three of us, 2 Active Duty Marines, and I were not thrilled w the approach.If there is a good sale... i go in n out..hopefully they single out their bad apples and move on to better things.

I originally boycotted this store during the ammo scare, but returned to collect petition signatures for the VetoGunmageddon movement. I was impressed to be able to witness their great customer service over the course of two FULL days.Since they were so helpful and accommodating to our Pro-2nd Amendment event, I ended up purchasing two firearms from them. They were knowledgeable, helpful and even upon pickup they were quick to help me. Their prices are competitive and they even price match!!! I will be returning.P.S.Jackie and Sam were awesome when I picked up my items. Friendly, funny and it sure didnt hurt that Sam was hott. Loved the banter.

This was the rudest gun store Ive ever been to. My husband and I went there with a friend and the way we were treated was so surprising. We had never been to a gun store that has a sign in sheet to ask 1 question. My husband wanted to know if they had a right side holster in the one he liked. So u suppose they wanted us to wait 45 min to ask. My husbands friend was standing at the gun counter. I was right beside him. The fat man looked at him, asked if he needed anything and he said yeah I just had a couple questions and he said well you need to sign in on the sign in sheet. And my friend said oh thats what its for. Because we thought it was some sort of sign in for a pick up or appointment. because thats usually how sign in sheets work. Lol and he told my friend yeah and u got a lot of people behind you waiting too so.......yeah. so after a while we come back up to the counter. He notices his name is crossed off and he said my name was crossed off but not called and the skinny one says yeah I heard them call your name but ok what do you need ......Ive worked in customer service for 5 years. I wouldve fired both these boys. Little did they know they were speaking to 2 ranger veterans who were weapons squad. We felt singled out and treated like idiots. If any of you who work there now read this, we came in June 28th. My husband came in to get a holster, and his friend loves to purchase guns for his collection. You missed out on a large sale because we came in wanting to buy and left thinking we would not give our business, not only to your store, but to any ammo bros in California. Looking at the reviews, I can already see that yall have an attitude problem. Youre lucky I kept my composure. Because I almost corrected it for you real quick. 👍👌

If you want to buy a gun go somewhere else...waited a total of 13 hours over two trips at this store just to get service.

Good store, decent sales service but do they EVER answer the phone? I have called over multiple days to no avail. Hope they see this and get it together.
