Definitely wont be going back to Pep Boys anytime soon. Went in to have a tire patched only to wait two hours for them to check it and say it couldnt be patched. I also had an appointment but they were running behind on their previous appointments. Whats the point of making an appointment if your treated as a walk in? After that, they offered me a replacement tire for 250 dollars for an 18 standard tire. Huge waste of time and their employees like to talk behind your back because they think your outside 😏Absolutely outrageous!

I arrive to my appointment and theres two people in line while the front desk guy was on the phone with a customer and thought it was a great time to have us wait while he checks for a list of items in the back of the store.10 mins later he returns to tell him they have the items and hangs up. He wraps up with the current customer and just stands there. The lady in front of me was chatting with another employee and so I went up and told him politely I just needed to drop off my keys as it was 25 mins past my appointment time. He rudely brushed me off and said he needs to wait to help the lady who was in front of me, who was in no rush and just having a casual conversation with another employee...Whatever, I wait another 10 mins for them to finish their convo and him to ring her up so he can finally assist me. I finally give him the keys and he tells me he will call me soon after doing brake check to see whats going on. I wait for an hour and 45 mins nearby at a restaurant and they finally call...to tel me he LOST my paperwork and doesnt remember what I needed to have done. He also tells me the technician is at lunch and hasnt looked at my car but will in 10 mins.Since I was close by, I came by a few mins later and my car had not moved from where I left it now two hours prior. I go inside and wait another few mins while he is slowly inspecting another car and doesnt even bother to come in and check on me until hes finished (another few mins.) I politely just ask for my keys to my car so I can take my business elsewhere. Ive never felt so disrespected and like my time and business was not valued in the slightest. Mind you, there were plenty of empty spaces in the shop and the parking lot was nearly empty. They obviously dont care at all about customer service and both customers in front of me complained about coming in for one thing, and being up charged for another. For example, the lady in front of me wanted an oil change but was told her brakes needed to be replaced. Dont take your car here!!

I like going there because of the spacious and comfortable waiting room (which I hope theyll reopen soon) and I always get good friendly service. I place a lot of trust in them, so far they havent steered me wrong and I always appreciate the honest and frank communication. Dion is one that comes to mind as very professional and easy to work with but theyre all great

Wife made an appointment for an oil change the next day, we show up and they have lost the information for the appointment.Then when it comes time to pay, we try to use a 25% off coupon directly from the website, but the employee tells us it isnt working and there is nothing he can do.

I like pep boys they can be a little more expensive than other auto part store. I know they have always closed at 6 but it makes it hard for someone who works a 9-5. I can see closing the service department at that time but should keep the parts counter and store open later

They have car stuff like oil, cleaning things, air fresheners, tires, rims and they can work on your car, they have a garage. Although they didnt fix my car problem and told me to go somewhere else so Ill say the same thing, just go somewhere else to have your car get worked on by some professionals. Unless you need parts, cleaners or oil best bet to order online or just go somewhere else unless its close by. It is what it is.

Terrible. Had my vehicle for 6 hours for an oil change with an appointment. They didnt even touch it. Said to come back first thing at 8 and they would have me out in 45 minutes.Well 45 minutes is 2 hours. It was on the lift for 30 minutes with no one working on it why the techs just walked around with all of 2 vehicles in the bay.I will never be back and I have a fleet of vehicles.

The line was super long bit the staff checking Every one in handled it with grace and kindness. He did not seem overwhelmed at all. I know I would have been being the only staff member helping inside. I wish I could remember his name. Nice guy kind and helpful

Older mechanics think they know everything. Service manager accepted a job that none of his team knew how to do. Wasted the whole afternoon waiting for them to tell me they dont know how to do the install. Not knowing the proper process the mechanic resorts to “it doesnt fit, wrong part” in the first 2 minutes of the labor. They also do not listen to you or look up the proper way of installing parts. Undoubtedly the worst service i got in my lifetime. Go somewhere else.

Horrible place! They wanted to keep my car until 6pm when I came in at 9am to do a patch. There was at least 5 empty bays and about 4 people waiting inside for their cars to be done. The reviews are right!!!

Worst experience ever. Appt was at 10:00. Had to wait in the parking lot on a curb as there were no chairs. 2 hours later thet still had not started my car. Been going here over 10 years. Will NEVER go back to Pepboys again. I got my keys back and left. What a wasted Saturday, my only day off!!

I just wanted to say that the service manager Deon was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and honest with me with my Toyota Rav4 2007. He told me what he could fix and what he could not fix and you know with mechanics honesty is very hard to come by. I would come here again if I needed to.

I purchased an adjustable hitch that did not work for my desired application. I lost the receipt and referred to their terms and conditions regarding returns with no receipt. It stated that I can return the item and receive the lowest price it has sold for in the last 60 days as long as I have my I. D. I attempted to do this and was refused a return. The manager ADRIAN ROSALES of store #732 stated that he is not in the business of letting customers borrow products. He was rude and unprofessional from the very beginning. I never like to blame things on my race (Im African American) but I cannot help but do so in this case. He was immediately suspicious and mean to me for no reason. I nicely asked him to point out in their store policy what he was stating and he refused. ADRIAN ROSALES of store #732 has no business being in a managers role. Profiling people as soon as they walk in and not treating them with respect is completely unacceptable and I hope it is not a reflection of Pep boys as a whole. I would not feel right unless I made people aware of this particular Manager/store.

Excellent customer service. I had family visiting from out of state, they needed a snow tire asap to be able to go back home. I called at least 10 tire stores from Costco, Walmart, Les Schaw, Montain View, etc. And Pepboys were the only store that was able to have a good quality tire on time. The technicians working on the service bays were wonderful, very kind and attentive with schedule and walk in customers. Kudos to Pep boys in Ontario/Vineyard.

This is the closest tire shop to work. We sometimes bring the trucks here for flats or leaks. The last time we brought the tire at 9am, and the dude said itd be 6-8 hrs to get to it. Not very helpful, itd be easier if they said, go get bent, we dont care to help you

I usually go to pep boys if I need to go anywhere. On this occasion it was to compress some springs to be installed on a strut. 3-in lift spring, not worth risking injury. Great prices fast service friendly staff.

Dion and Fernando were the best! Fernando found the problem in my car was a cut wire and they didnt charge me for the parts since I didnt need them. Fernando found it after all other mechanics shops did not! Dion was so helpful and honest that I wont take my car elsewhere anymore! I would give 6 stars if I could!

I have visited this location a couple of times for minor tire service and repair. I have been treated well and with excellent service. Appointments are recommended and can be made the same day, otherwise be prepared to drop off and come back later. Walkins are welcome and the store has a wide selection of accessories and things for your vehicle. I always feel like Im getting honest service and a great deal thanks to Dion and his team.

These guys were AWESOME!!!! I had a problem with my car getting started and a red security imobilizer light on. The dealerships wanted to charge me $150 to diagnose, Fernando (I think was his name) and I believe the manager told me exactly what to do to fix it. They were Fabulous!

I have been taking my cars there for approximately 15 years. The staff is always friendly and professional. Kirk, the manager, is always ready to answer of any of my questions or concerns and any repairs have been fully explained and completed. The tech guys are also great and do great work. If you have a flat tire and need to repair don’t come here because they probably won’t have the tire for your car I call ahead of time to see if they had a tire for my car the guy on the phone said yea and come on Down but wen I get there they said they didn’t have any tire that fit my car so now I have to wait and pay for another tow truck..

Arrived at around 4 PM for tire inspection and hopefully service. Was turned away for some unknown reason with entire hour left before closing and was forced to drive home with a comprised tire. Would not recommend taking your vehicle here.

Clean store. Friendly staff. First time here but I will go again. Also as I picked up my car from getting an oil change I went to pop the hood to add windshield wiper fluid and a staff member came out and offered to do it for me. That was very nice!

Installation and other charges for two new tires were $160. Had to replace 4 tires on a similar car at a different Pep Boys last year, installation and other charges were $90. Why are the charges double at this Pep Boys, for half the number of tires?

I shopped around for struts, tires, brakes, and a battery. Pep Boys was very competitive in pricing but the fact that the alignment is included in strut installation got me to choose pep boys. However, the service rep at pep boys provided me with such outstanding customer service and went out of his way to ensure that my car was fixed to my satisfaction that he earned me as customer for life. Competitive prices along with outstanding customer service cannot be beat. Props to Pep Boys and to the service rep for knowing how to treat their customers.

Wish I could give less then one star. Sat on hold on the phone for about 30 min and decided to Just go in around 9 to get a tire plugged. I was told it would be a long wait, waited in store all the way until 4:30 and they finally came to tell me that they won’t be able to do it until the next day. SMH GREAT SERVICE PEP BOYS WAY TO TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMERS.

I left my car here several days ago. Ive been calling every day, and they made more excuses every time. Each time they promised me Oh our guy is off today but hell be in the morning, and well look at your car first thing no matter what!. THREE DAYS and they STILL never even LOOKED at my car. I got fed up and had to cancel my appointment because of their horrid customer service. Very disappointing service, never coming here again.

These people lied to my face about my brakes being completely worn out. I came in with a complaint of my brakes squeaking and they told me that I had no more brake and that I was metal to metal on my discs. I’ve had negative experience with them before and tried to give them another try, but i didn’t trust them. I then took my car to another shop and they told me I had 50% brake life left. I saw my own brakes and to my surprise I still had brake pad. I wasn’t metal on metal. Those people at pepboys are sketchy, don’t trust them at all.

Went in for a Lyft inspection 3 times !!The first time the guy told me and the guy ahead of us that we both needed to replace several tires when both of our set of tires had half the tread life still. Then he immediately went into an upsell to try and get us to buy 4 new tires from them. Convenient...The next time I went in (the same timeframe I went in the first time; 10am), the guy at the tire dept tells me the person who does the inspections won’t be in until 12-4pm . So I drive 45 minutes back home as this is now the closest hub to me since Lyft removed the one by my house.I return at 12:20pm to be told that the guy has already went home for today and that I’ll have to come back again tomorrow. Needless to say, their location is very unorganized and should not be partnered with Lyft.

Great way to not receive work! Came in to get my car serviced for maintenance and they came off rude with attitude! I always feel sketchy when coming to big named auto stores like this. They made me feel unwelcomed to work on my car and made it clear how they dont care about customers or their auto repair needs. Sure your being honest but doesnt change the fact that you literally said you guys can do what I ask to have my car serviced but also saying it wont fix my problem or even reassuring that it can help my problem. Made me feel not to leave my car here to even be checked or work on. Thanks for the reminder how I stay far away from pep boys auto stores and service shops!

The worst service I have ever gotten. All I asked for was an oil change for my Volkswagen and to check the brakes on it. Took them 5 hours to do so (and I even made an appointment for it) and the guy said the brakes are due and it will cost $600 to change all 4 brake pads. $600! For a 2008 Volkswagen jetta! Went to autozone, bought them for 75$ a pop for both front and back and changed them myself in less than an hour. I should pay myself the $450 for labor that they wanted to charge me. Never coming back here.

Went here because they had package deals with all the things that I needed done on my car and they didn’t even do it. Charged me $74 for JUST AN OIL CHANGE when they were supposed to rotate my tires, check the pressure and do a vehicle inspection. Me assuming that they did their job completely I realized when I got home that they didn’t rotate or check my tire pressure. Rip off I swear!

Arrived at the store today around noon and spoke to the technician that was supposed to complete my work Jose. He stated that he was going to go to lunch would come back and my work would be done in two hours. I came back to the shop and noticed that none of my work had even started. I also noticed there were NO techs working on any vehicles; the shop was empty! I asked the front desk when I came back and they stated that Jose was still on lunch. I waited for an additional two hours for Jose to come back from his lunch. He finally came out and said he was swamped with work. This place is unprofessional and I would never bring my vehicles here or advise anyone else to bring theirs! I will be formally making a complaint against this Pep Boys shop!

Super Slow Service for brake pad replacement! Brought in Saturday for brake service and waited over 4 hours. They replaced rear brakes and said front was good but after driving home the noise from wear sensor continued. I brought my truck back the following Tuesday and they discovered front brakes were wore down as well and needed replacement. These front brakes pads were Wagner brake pads and were covered for free replacement. Moreover, I feel they cut corners the previous Saturday visit and now Im wasting a Tuesday business day after another 4 hours of waiting...... Poor poor service from this Pepboys service department! Extremely POOR.

Manager Kirk Robinson and Fransisco the Service Tech thank you for your kindness today . I Had a tire blow out and damages rim . My car does not come with a spare, so had to scramble over to pick a part and found it . My daughter pick me up then took me back to Pepboys . I go inside and ask to get my spare mounted . I had shown Kirk earliar the damage rim . So they mount the tire and Kirk says we good man . I bring out my wallet ready to pay . Kirk says once again, we good man dont worry bout it . My hell of a morning ended with this kind gesture from Manager and Fransisco even double checking my tire pressur on all tires . Thank you ! Alex Cabrera

Went to this location for a vehicle inspection. The Service Manager Kirk checked me in and told me that the inspection would take 30 mins. I waited for 1 hr. 22 mins. Before approaching Kirk. Kirk told me that the extensive wait was due to one of the mechanics being at lunch. I have no problem with an employee taking advantage of his lunch break however the Manager should have had the professionalism and the respect for my time to imform me of this rather than not being concerned with my time.

Came in the morning before I had a doctors appointment. The service person told me that the appointment wouldnt be done for 45 minutes and that the service team wouldnt be there for another 45 minutes. I decided to take an uber to the doctors. The service guy called 10 minutes later to inform me they finished. I was pretty pissed because it seemed like there is a huge lack of communication. I purposfully called and made sure I could go early morning to my smog check completed. The job was dome but wasted money on an uber.

Always had my work done here for my 2008 jeep, supposedly they dont take my warranty anymore after years i been going here. & they could be a little more polite & informative.. Pep boys in Corona is my new location & i dont understand how pep boys in ontario is the only location who doesnt take my warranty... Kind of funny but oh well. Dont recommend!
