I’m happy to see Iron Skillet is back open again. Miss the servers there. Always great service. Just wish they had flavor coffee creamers so I don’t have to walk over to the coffee counter in the store to get them. Speaking of the coffee in the store it always seems when I get coffee there I always get coffee grounds in my coffee. Yuck. The people at the fuel desk are great people and always enjoy going in there to say hi when I stop off there. I enjoy Petro better than the TA across the way. Parking is also better at the Petro.

This Petro truck stop exceeded my expectations. There is allways plenty of empty lots here that is unusual for California. The stores, kitchen, restrooms, showers are all clean and in good shape. It even has DOT Medical facility at the premise. My Verizon Internet kind of sucks here but I can live with this.

The deli at the fuel island was great with great people. However, trying to get a shower is a bit of a task. Give yourself plenty of time, because theyll take their time and extended lunches at peak times (LAZY) .👎😤😡

The womens bathroom had no toilet paper for over 24 hours which tells me it hadnt been cleaned. The soap dispensers in the mens bathroom were all empty. The fountain machine was not working. The outside sitting area had food and garbage underneath tables with the garbage cans overflowing.Just seemed to be run down and in dire need of updating and cleaning. On a good note, Karlene was super friendly and very helpful.

I was able to find parking even in the late afternoon. Hallelujah! Friendly service and the store was clean and tidy. Typical small showers for TA and Petro. But it had great water pressure. All in all, not a bad place to stop for a 10 or 34-hour break.

Negative comment. Parking prices up front are dependent of who you get behind the counter. Large man...$25. Young lady $20. What gives?! Now for the positive. The shop is great. We needed a skilled tech for issues and no one was going to be available for us until the following day. Hilde was great! She spoke with the tech who would be working on the truck and then called around to find parts to have ready. Our technician Eddie, was fantastic. We came from a nightmare visit at a TA in Georgia and he was able to get us back on track! So thank you Hilde and Eddie!

There is definitely lots of parking at this petro. However they charge $25 a day unless you spend that in some kind of way. I found the showers to be overall clean but they are definitely small. For me, the best thing about this location was the food inside at the fuel island. I do not generally eat at truck stops but I have to say the food was really good and flavorful. You can get an entree with two sides for $10.99 during lunch and dinner. And they are not stingy with the servings, you get your moneys worth.

The maintenance shop is one of the best!!! Great service! They are always super nice and really good at their jobs. They always share great info with us and really excellent work! This review is long overdue and it’s not my first time visiting them, always nice and professional. A couple guys helped me sorry I dont remember everyone’s name but Garret and Eliseo were absolutely the best!!!! Highly highly recommend!

The showers are so small....a big person can not undress in there...its shameful that they would make a shower room that small....I thought truck stops would have more respect than they do for the drivers that keep this country running 🤔🙄 ... the trash cans around the property were heavily overflowing with trash..looked like it had been a few days since being emptied...TA and Petro truckstops are going downhill big time all across the country 😑😐😒😕

This ones about as good as the dump across the street. The restaurants close early, food selection is terrible. Also, update your hours. Burger King clearly is not open until midnight.

This place is the WORST.Dirty. Expensive. Rude Confrontational Employees... who will start the negative issue.. then lie about it... other staff will back them up. Thank Goodness For Video and Audio Security... For (LAST TIME!!!!) Customers.

Dont park here over night.They charge $20 to $25 for every parking spot. They will tow or give give a huge parking ticket. They only notify you when it late during the evening, when you have your tractor set on sleep mode.I will never park here again.

The fuel lady rude as hell. She started yelling at somebody in the weigh station because she was alone at night I asked her if she has any disposable vape pens. Her response was I dont know I dont smoke. If you work somewhere that sells tobacco you should learn about the tobacco. Plus im just trying to quit smoking no reason to be rude to me because u dont know the products youre selling

Stopped in to get food from the deli in the fuel store. Definitely recommend their food. Always hot and freshly prepared.

Xlnt truck stop that offered a team shower for my husband & myself for $15 they provide towels no time limit very clean. Called all around this area and they cant compete either too expensive or no additional amenities provided. Will gladly come back again. Thank you there should be more truck stops like you. Xlnt customer service too by employees very helpful.

All this Petro and TA across needs is to place couple people inside at the fuel island to make taco truck Mexican food and it will become the best place in Ontario.

Disgusting! Someone needs to check the sewage because the smell! Both bathrooms were nasty! No one has cleaned these bathrooms all day! I get there are nasty customers but at least check it hourly! I could not eat here at all! Disappointing! There is usually a smell of stinky pipes but never has it been this nasty!

The Iron Skillet inside just reopened!!!The server that was working yesterday was VERY RUDE! The section that was open was very small,, so we sat at one of the available tables. The server was so rude when we asked her to wipe the table because we noticed coffee cup marks on the table. She grumbled all the way back to pick up her cleaning supplies. We got up and walked out!

Fueled here on Sunday 06/20/21. The biodiesel B20 they sell is of a terrible quality. Drained almost 30 oz of water from water separator filter after burning theirs 250 gallons. For the price they sell diesel in California quality deserves to be much better.

So another driver gives me his birthday free meal ticket and the Petro doesnt honor it.sebastian fueled hear and I fueled hear. This truck stop get a big fat zero.

Luis the guy that works at the burger king has a nasty attitude for no reason if he doesnt like his job he should find another place to work. Disrespectful attitude is not not appropriate toward people that are paying his salary. Wont be back to order anything very bad attitude.

Paid $30 for reserve parking.Ate breakfast it was okay.The dinner plate at night I had lasagna with some vegetables. I saw this girl bring the lasagna out from the oven 2 minutes to walk back to my truck and when I bit into the lasagna IT WAS COLD! So I had to pop it in the microwave and heat it up. I still didnt like it and still did not eat it all.

11.17.2020...Travel center paid Semi truck parking.

Pretty busy place, although you can usually find a spot to park. They have 2 CAT scales, Burger King, Popeyes Chicken, Petro Restaurant, big laundry room. Most of the cashiers are completely useless except for scanning a product and taking payment. If you ask a question about ANYTHING... rewards card, lottery machine, laundry room, etc, they act like they never heard of it. The store manager should train these employees on different aspects of the store besides just scanning a product and taking payment. TA/Petro also has the worst coffee of any truck stop chain. Consistently crappy, coast to coast. Basically tastes like hot water with whichever condiments you put in there. Yuck!

Great location off the freeway. And the Mills Mall is in walking distance. The people here are friendly. And the place is usually clean. But I dont like that you have to pay for parking after two hours.

Great area to stay over on your 34 if needed. Clean facilities, great customer service and food selection. Area for pets, laundry, showers and plenty of parking for your big rig. Additional security is a plus. Plenty of shopping with designated activity areas. Great for team or couples that drive.

(6/30/21) in the fuel island store, 2nd shift, tall guy with black hair who works behind the counter is ALWAYS an a hole. Customer service during 2nd shift is unbelievably poor anyway, but this guy goes below poorness every time. Worst Ive seen in 20 years. There is absolutely no regard for truck drivers at this Petro - goes all the way to management. But, that being said, this f stick a hole is a real true genuine scumbag.

Multiply 500 trucks by $25. For over $12000 a night, this place should be the Taj Mahal of Truck Stops.

I like this truck-stop because I have come here since I was kid now that I’m truck driver I’m still coming more often but what I really don’t like at all it this employee name “Jake”his ethnicity it’s white an his really rude with others employees an with customers as well if he likes be respect he needs to give respect as Well to Others an specially to kids.

One of the best TA, lots of parking and shower, game room, pool table, laundry and cleaning up. Nice service too.

Place is pretty nice parking lot is huge but you places to go you can find the place for fixing the truck and then you got like a mini mall petrol or you can find Burger King and the Popeyes also other different stores you going to Verizon store to buy some phones place is nice and clean and if you need to shappell to do a little worshipping you can find it here too

On June 25th 2021 I went in there at around 5.00 pm the male desk clerk with the chin wiskers was extremely rude and unpleasant I will not go back as a truck driver we spend alot of money in these places atleast be nice.

Don’t blame bobtails for taking up truck parking spots. They won’t let us use our fuel receipt to park in bobtail area. I know, stupid isn’t it. So we have to take up a whole spot just for 1 bobtail. Management doesn’t even begin to care. Neither does the way over zealous security guard who thinks he’s mr tactical.

Iron skillet closed again! Guess the kitchen staff are no longer important, way to go newsom. Must suck to be non essential?

I signed in for alignment of my tractor and trailer at shop waiting time was told 3 hrs to me after 6 hrs of waiting I was told to come back next day...what a management...I have lost my load and I have to spend $30 to get out of that place cus u have to pay for parking......never gonna go back here again

I havent stopped at this Petro in a decade, it always been a very popular stop, the control parking has a large improvement. I found it peaceful and secure to camp out. The staff at the fuel Island were very friendly and professionals.

Almost spent money here . Till I realized last year this was the locale that would not let me put on my shoes in the drivers lounge After I took a shower.

Food was not that good, showers are terrible, no soup... Only one towel, pea on the toilet, you can see that they are just wiping out the water from every area, they are not really cleaning the bathrooms, take a look at this pictures and judge ur self, you can see some elses hair on toilet... and pea.

Large facilities. Lots of parking. Multiple food options. A Drivers lounge, showers, game room, tractor store, and the very rare gym inside the truck stop.You get two hours of free parking when you sign in, but then 20$ worth of purchases must be made daily after that.Clean showers, but average size.Theres also a clinic for DOT physicals.

Hey Petro! How about petitioning the city to change the signals so that we dont need to wait as long to arrive or leave your business? This would be a benefit to us customers after the price to park was increased to $25 (from $20) and the bags of ice went from 7lb to 5lb yet the price remained the same ($2.29). Arent we in a recession? Interesting business model. Thanks for listening.

I have been coming to this Petro for over 6 years and they constantly change how much they charge you to park in the front of the store. As much money as we spend in fuel and purchase in the store they still want to charge you another $20 for the priviledge of parking in their lot. Cant tell you how many thousands of dollars ive spent there. The manager came out and decided to goto every truck in the front and if you didnt have a ticket to park you had to go. And go right now. Just tired of people being rude to you. Not suggested to stay around here if you dont have to.

No steak but had to pay full price and I even spoke to 3 ppl about it including the manager.

This place was like any other place like a home away from home for trucker you can find almost anything you need a little pricey but thats at any truck stop all the truckers were warm and friendly and just wanted a piece of home on the road

Great place to do a 34 reset, but it costs $20 a day to park here. Theres plenty to do on the other side of the interstate, movies, bars, shopping mall...

Over a year ago I flew my wife to come visit me and she came in to meet me at the restaurant she wanted to brush her teeth so she went into the ladies room and while she was brushing her teeth the plumbing exploded out of the drain of the sink all over her face and all over her. So why wasnt the ladies room closed and then no manager to be found nobody acted like they wanted to take responsibility or do anything they just wanted to like sweep it under the carpet that had ever happened. Over a year now still waiting on an apology from this sorry place.

We been coming to this TA Petro for years and always park in front where the Bob tail trucks park. There was always a $25 charge to park unless you have $25 or more receipts and fuel or merchandise and we never had a problem with that. Now we either have to park out back and walk aways to get stuff and me and my husband are up in age and refuse to do that. We fill up every time we come here and buy stuff from the store. So now you want to charge us $20 to park no matter what we spend. So this is what we are going to do...you will get your $20 a day for parking, but we will get our fuel (which is normally around $250 ) somewhere else. See how that works!!!!! Btw your rent of cops here are very rude!!! I will put this all over facebook....have a lot of trucker freinds!

I went today to go eat at Truck stop by Ontario Airport. Where my boyfriend Dad visit here about two weeks ago with his brother. Invited us to go try the food as going to Petro IronSkillet Restaurant where next time around Im going to order Chocolate Chip Skillet with Vanilla Ice Cream. As my boyfriend dad told us picking us up from Rialto MetroLink to go to Petro IronSkillet Restaurant they have a Monday night special buffet all you can eat at a certain time frame. Ill sure will be return here again as they have a variety of things as well. Going to Petro Stopping Center there always something new you find will visiting here with family and friends.

THE WORST service been waiting..I checked in at 11am . They said its going to be a few hrs So I said ok let just make an appointment for 5 pm I called at five pm and the guy that answered said the I was second in line cuz there was only one tech available tonight

This lane to pay are ridiculous we have loads to take. Make this faster,please with the waitting lanes to go out the parking.

My wallet dropped from my pocket, hours later The Cashier got it back to me, completely intact...Praise Jesus! Need doors on your showers. Please! This is getting ridiculous. Especially the horrible shower head placement. Water goes over the entire shower room. It’s every location, and it’s sickening.

Did a nice job remodeling restaurant and fast food places. I wish security would tell these Swift drivers that they cant park wherever they feel like. Open single spots but these steering wheel holders dont know how to back.

Im focusing on the showers in this review, not the whole location.First off. Small and cramped showers, but at least there is 2 dozen of em so theres no waiting, usually. Ventilation is mostly good so mirrors dont fog up, tooThat said, the tiling has a fair amount of discoloration/mildewing in the caulking.The soap dispenser, at least in my shower, wasnt properly attached, so moved from side to side. Im lucky it didnt fall and injure me!And most importantly? Remove the cheesy fake flowers from the 1950s! They are dirty, mildewy, and have a ton of beard hair inside them! Believe me, we dont need those to appreciate the shower... the nastiness in them is the main reason I wrote this review! See my pics.

This place has gotten ridiculous....no hot water, Iron skillet is closed down, sign up for cleaning bathrooms just to keep ppl out, no one in there actually cleaning....hell, you cant even get your own cup of coffee and put creamer in it. To be one of the biggest truck stops in this area, you would think they would do better. A lot of angry ppl here

Its the only option other than the TA in LA area. You have to spend 20$ in store or get 60 gallons of fuel to park for free. Its dirty, gets jammed up at gate, and if you use verizon or at&t your connection is going to be slow due to massive amounts of people on their phone. There is a Burger King, Louisiana Popeyes, and a sit down dinner.

Has everything a trucker needs. Only thing is that it says no dropping trailers off but theres trailers all over need to up keep the rulesThe trucker part that not the big gas station is so dirty. Theres so much stuff on the floor and on the stalls wall its so nasty

Zero stars for this place because of their shop. Just like TA across the street it’s an absolute nightmare to deal with this shop and employees that work there. They are lazy, rude, unprofessional and useless. I had some simple tire work to be done and I waited for over 20 hours for them and they still didn’t help me.Their shop employees just don’t want to work. I don’t know what kind of system they have over there, maybe they should be motivated somehow but are they moving like snails and never get the job done!!!They should fire everyone at this shop and start over the right way or just lease this shop to somebody else who knows a thing or two about this business.There is no accountability at this location whatsoever.Shame on you PETRO!!!!!!

We want to thank the mechanics and service department!!! We are having brakes done and a grease job on the truck. We keep finding out that we can trust the crew in Ontario without having any doubts!!

Great place to pull into and get your stuff done you have to do it within two hours or they actually charge you for being on the lot.

I found a corner booth, had a great breakfast (biscuits & gravy and two eggs on top) and a good cup of coffee. Service was good, and left happy.

Had no problems with store but Popeyes and Burger King no one was wearing gloves.I didnt feel safe so didnt order anything, maybe im the only one worried about the covid virus

6/8/2021: reason why there’s plenty of parking space all day and all night is because some drivers stop coming here prolly of bad experiences at this place.

Fuel island overnight is undermanned. Waiied 5 minutes for the cashier to come and gave up.

All the money they charge for parking and overpriced food and they still have not updated the bathrooms or showers. Nasty unclean bathrooms. Now they even charge bobtails to park out front. T/A Petro you disgust me. I will no longer spend a dime at any of your locations. Won’t be hard today, all the fuel pumps are down. Great job

The prices in the store are good, less than other truckstops, and reasonable for the area. Friendly people and plenty of clean showers.

Got mail delivered here and someone signed for it. When I came to pick it up they couldn’t find it. Manager didn’t seem to care.

Checked in at 10:30am to get a DOT inspection, was told it would be 4 hrs. Called them at 4pm and was told 1 hr. At 6:30pm after no one would answer the phone I walked in and was told they didnt have a qualified DOT inspector on that shift. Very poor customer service.

I would have given at least 4 stars if a service truck hadnt nearly hit me and my dog when she was flying across the parking lot. Food was delicious, fuel island and bathrooms were clean. Everyone I encountered, with the exception of the lady in the service truck, was very friendly.

It is not short driver friendly, people there are so rude. Its made out 2 be a big place when its as small as a Maw n Pop store. At least at a Maw n Pop store you have very friendly service and their so proud you came

Terrible truck stop

I was waiting to meet my daughter there. We got separated while driving. The security officers let me know that while I was waiting I could not nap while I waited. Furthermore, they suggested I move to a local closed resturaunt that was dark and nobody would bother me there. As he continued with there have been stabbings and shootings in that parking lot. He went on with whatever I do I need to stay awake. I laughed and said both my dogs bark at every truck that pulled in, train that passed by, the sprinklers and anybody that walked by. I wouldve loved to napped. This is the first truck stop Ive been asked to leave. I set it up with my daughter to meet at a truck stop if we get separated because they are safe, open and we could always use the gas. I will keep that option but I am changing my safe spot to the Flying J. I have always felt welcome. Considering I drive approximately 100k miles a year I will go where I feel welcomed especially if I was too tired to drive. Thank goodness I wasnt tired this time so I could move on to a better place.

I usually prefer coming here than t.a. for better food selection. Half the parking is so tight... 45 degrees. Minimal space to safely park. It took me a while. My brand new co.driver got stuck trying to drive out of parking. Another truck driver tried to get out and got stuck. He decided to back up and was unable to get out. I assume he decided to wait until trucks leave 4 hours later. I know... Los Angelos. California needs to add 5000 more truck driver parking spaces to keep up with its population.

I love riding my bike on Saturday mornings and hitting the breakfast buffet. Always plenty of everything and always tastes great!
