Established in 1894 the Graber olive Co. has been canning olives using the same methods and equipment since day one with only a few minor changes (the boilers are now natural gas operated instead of wood) the olives are also no longer growing on this property but 70 miles away “both properties have been owned and operated from the beginning and are now run by the 3rd. Gen.They only can 1 to 2 months out of year (depending on the harvest) and hire high schoolers to do the manual canning although they have noticed a decline in high school participation in the recent years with more older people applying for jobs. The family gives free tours “our Docent has been working for the family for more than 30 years!”There is and old main house that is still lived in with a well in the front yard. This place is a true time capsule that is still going strong “so cool”

What a wonderful place to visit! We were heading back from Las Vegas and werent ready to go home yet. We ended up spending the night near the Ontario airport and the convention center. This morning I searched for interesting things to do in the area and found Graber Olive House.Theyre celebrating 125 years in business, which is a feat in and of itself. The property holds many wonders, once we arrived and had a look around. Theres a lovely lawn area in the middle of the various buildings. Surrounded by mature trees, it conveys a sense of relaxation. The gift shop is where you go for gracious hospitality and a taste of their buttery, delicate, hand-picked olives and gourmet extra-virgin olive oil. Instant love!We definitely bought some of both to take home, plus some for a gift for friends. The ladies in the gift shop wrapped them beautifully for us.The shop was light, bright, and colorful. Their selection of merchandise evoked a gourmet kitchen shop. I could have spent a long time there. We moved on to a guided tour of the processing, aging, and canning facility. The machinery is vintage, to say the least. Their olives are now grown in Lindsay, CA, but the processing happens in Ontario. They told us you can see that happening each autumn. It would be fascinating to witness.Overall, I highly recommend a visit to this charming business.

Off the beaten path, a kitschy reminder of Old California. The whole place is a virtual museum, with a small collection in a separate room.Olives available (of course). Better to buy on site. Shipping olives is EXPENSIVE!Be sure to pet the cats.

A gem! Best. Olives. Ever. Never was a particular olive fan before, but these are delicious. There is not one, but two, charming giftshops. And if you can swing by during November, you might even be able to tour their facility - which still uses its original early 20th century equipment!

The best olives I have ever had. We lived close and would go often to get cases for ourselves and as gifts. Now I live in another state, but found a local grocery store that carries them. Expensive but so worth the cost. My husband and I did not share a can well, so when we brought a case home we immediately initialed each can so we had our own stash. I still use cans of Graber Olives as the best gift choice, especially as hostess gifts. I say share the love.

Found this gem on our family trip. Stopped in for a tour and Rosalie did a great job taking us though the factory and telling us the history of the place. Our kids enjoyed it as well. The olives are delicious and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Rosalie took the time to answer all the questions my 10 year old had for her! I am hoping to visit (and shop) more in the future. Thank you!

Delicious olives that taste like butter in your mouth. They offer samples of their olives and olive oil to taste in their shop. They have a museum on the same site and they also offer free tours. Look on their website to find out about their tours. They grow and pack their own olives. This place is a gem.

Family and I took a psychic paranormal tour there for Friday the 13th. We were really excited for the tour until the psychic began the tour n hardly conducted the tour but basically stood around playing with her phone and talked with her bf, who by the way claimed he was a psychic too but didnt say one psychic word out of his mouth the entire time. He instead rudely and obnoxiously interrupted her half the time about random things and screaming n hollering across the room. It was quite annoying. Ive been on paranormal tours before with psychics and I can honestly say that the female psychic was a first that I believe wasnt a real psychic. They definitely didnt know how to be tour guides and completely came unprepared. Very disappointed. Next time I want to try the investigation tour. The tour guide looked like they were conducting the tour the entire time n the customers looked like they really were enjoying themselves. I give 4 stars because I truely believe I would have had a really great time if their was a real and professional psychic.
