I like this place a bit better than the Guitar Store. Better selection in all departments and friendlier, more knowledgeable staff in my opinion.

This is amazing place to go and enjoy. To take our kids and learn more about peoples traditions and their experiences with the world.

Clean, organized, and easy to find what youre looking for.(Perhaps too easy, I went in for a little bit of sheet music to keep up with my playing, and left about $100 poorer because I found too much good stuff)

This place is incredible with their variety of instruments. It has things from instruments to accessories and their lesson program is available from those learning to those wanting a few new tips. There are also some used and some new instruments that could challenge any other music places prices.I would definitely recommend it for those wanting to browse or look for specifics in acoustics and/or, electronics.

I purchased some new strings for my guitar and the package was missing one. When I came into the store, the employee assisted me with getting a replacement quickly and without question. Customer service never disappoints here.

Perfect! Got three guitars form here in perfect condition. Also helped me with tune up and setting it up right. Staff were nice and when i was new to music helped me pick out a nice beginner guitar. Also gave a coupon for free fender guitar lessons

Great selection of music, instruments, and their accessories. Nice employees. They offer lessons for certain instruments if you ask them for it. I personally like to play on their pianos every now and then 😁

When looking for an instrument or instructor, and you dont want to spend an arm and a leg on a luthier, sam Ash is the place for you. From tasteful music in the background to dozens of each type of instrument that is commonly used, its a joy to walk around. The staff are wonderful to talk to, and will go above and beyond to try and help us find what we need or want! I would definitely go there again

Ive been purchasing pro audio gear and music instruments at Sam Ash Ontario Mills for the past 18 years. Danny and Nadine are my go to sales reps. I went to the SAM ASH store in Ontario on thursday 14 octber. It took me at least 30 minutes to talk to a salesman.I purchased an EV EVOLVE 30M system.I told the salesman that I would pull my vehicle to the front of the storeat which time he informed me that they did not have the item in the back room and offered me the one on display which I declined.He said it will be delivered to my home by saturday 16th october or possibly Friday 15th and he would contact me with tracking information.I assumed that as the delivery transaction had been set up before leaving the store that I would receive the tracking information later that day but there was no further communication that day.Having said that, i,ve never had any problem,s with SAM ASH since they opened in Ontario.

The guys in the Guitar Dept. we’re awesome. Amazing, actually. I am bummed that I didn’t get the name of the young man who tended to me. I was blown away by his knowledge of all the equipment I asked him about, from pedals, to amps, to pick ups. Their customer service was too notch. This was at the store in Ontario Mills.

Sam Ash has a great variety of instruments to test out and play. Customer service friendly. Still open and busy even during the pandemic. If you are a musician this is a music store to shop at if you are at Ontario Mills Mall. Definitely will be going back!

I am not sure who manages this location, but there is no customer service here. I walked the store for about 30 minutes..they were not busy.. Instead talking amongst themselves. Super disappointing, I ended up at Guitar center where the service was a lot better. More attentive and I ended up purchasing all my sound gear from G.C. .. Please do better!! Please

My daughters and I had a wonderful experience at Sam Ash Music store located at Ontario Mills. The store manager (Danny) was extremely helpful and he gave us lots of advice when selecting a new amplifier for an electric guitar and other accessories for the guitar. We showed him the used electric guitar that was given to my daughters and he recommended we get it seen by one of the store technicians to replace the strings and adjust the guitar neck. Overall we were extremely satisfied with our visit to this amazing music store store for their great customer service, the variety of musical instruments and accessories they sell, and for their high level of expertise nad advise their employees can offer about musical instruments.

This is truly a music superstore! They literally have everything you need to get you up and playing, including a nice line of used equipment that will fit anyones budget. Also a large DJ room for all of the DJs out there. A super friendly and knowledgeable staff who can get you gigging in no time. Ive been going there for about 15 years just DJ stuff. A band signing with Lita Ford. Service for me they usually always know or recommend decent equipment. If not they dont push and leave decision up to you. Like today, the employee actually told me to hold off and do some research to make sure you get exactly what you (I) came for but I just went ahead anyway with my purchase. 👍😃👏. Great Service!!

We purchased an Acoustic Guitar for My Husband (a picky person on guitars). We were pleased with the Selection they had but they didnt have any in boxes in the store and it would take 2 days for it to get to store and be picked up. So my husband took the display which I didnt like cause display products get mistreated most the time I wanted him to have one that was in a box. Well My husbands happy with the Acoustic Guitar so Im happy 😀😀. Theres one other little thing we had to look for the employee that worked that department He was anywhere around the section for us to ask any questions if we had any to ask before purchasing. It was a couple minutes til he came to the Guitar area. But he was Very friendly and curious when he assisted us ( we give him 5 stars for his customer service) 👍👍👍👍👍. This music store is great! It has a lot of deals and a HUGE variety of instruments

I call to speak to the guitar section, and they put me on hold for a long time, then hang up on me. I wait a few minutes then call again, am transferred to the guitar section again, but they never answer, so after waiting for quite a while, I just hung up. Youre better off going online and speaking to their customer service people, or just dealing with another music store altogether (i.e. guitar center).

Great place to find what your want.

The guy stocking the guitar strings had no idea what they had in stock. I asked about Gibson guitar strings which he told me they didnt stock. When I picked the two sets they had on the rack up and asked him again about them he said he didnt know they stocked those. Then proceeded to tell me the 11.99 ones were better than the 9.99 set because they were more expensive...what? Moral of the story, know what you want or ask a trusted professional prior to heading in there.

Sales associate rushed me into a sale, they had the wrong price card on instrument that I was about to purchase. He tried closing sale as quickly as possible before I asked about the prices. The couple of times Ive been here I did not like customer service.

I have been coming to Sam Ash since I was a kid. The service has always been just ok, but the staff is nice enough. Right now they are under staffed due to Covid. The part that is less forgivable is the selection of guitars is boring. Most are messed up some how or at least out of tune. They havent renovated since they opened so it is starting to look out dates and run down.If you are going to get general music stuff its a great place to go, and Im sure they will have what your looking for!

This store IS AMAZING! Ive been coming to this store for years! You know why? Customer service! Im an international touring artist and I ALWAYS make time to stop at this store whenever I can. Not only is the staff up to date with whats new with gear, etc. But they also treat you like a person not a dollar sign. Their guitar tech Chris is SUPER knowledgeable and not only provides QUALITY repair (important when it comes to instruments I use regularly) but also advice when discussing technical questions. This store is more than a place that sells instruments, its a hub and sanctuary for musicians. I remember just starting out and coming in here to not only get gear, but also for the vibes I got from those that work here. If you have musical needs, STOP IN HERE!!! honestly best experience at a musical store EVER.

We went to Ontario CA Sam Ash to get a drum set for my son. We had a very good experience with Nadine Parra who helped us to get a full drum set. She has lots of patient to answer all the questions and helped us to choose the right drum set and accessories. I didn’t have this good shopping experience for a long time. She is willing to help and answer questions to all of the customers. Look for Nadine Parra if you go to Ontario Sam Ash, she is the one I highly recommended. 😊

Better than guitar center

Just went in to check out some acoustic and classical guitars. Not in a buying mode yet. The section observes just 6 at a time, so there is some wait.

This store is terrible. They rush you. They assume you know nothing. If you ask questions they know nothing about it. There is no wonder I avoid these big box stores. Unless I have something I need for an emergency. I would not recommend going there. You can always find it cheaper somewhere else. Ive been there on multiple occasions. Many times ready to buy things. But Ive been so put off by the employees that I always end up leaving empty-handed. Avoid!

This store is a huge let down. The employees do not maintain anything and the place is literally dirty inside. I picked up literally 5 guitars off of the wall before I could find one that was even playable, and then I had to plug in to 3 amps before I found one that was functioning properly. Management, I suggest you guys get involved with your staff. I saw 4 employees standing around looking at their phones and not engaging with anyone. I suggest you guys really break down maintainence tasks and get everyone involved with cleaning the store. The staff all seem to have tons of time which could be used to actually fix this location. Take the extra time to drive out to the Puente Hills location or just stay at home and do business with Sweetwater music.

Down to earth, made me feel welcomed after a couple years being out of touch with music, he created an atmosphere where I didn’t feel like my decision to pick up the drums was a mistake, in fact he encouraged me, went out of his way to get exactly what I wanted, if you’re ever in the store looking for drums or percussion make sure you see this dude!

I said just to ask a question and he said yes and turn around and left me standing ... There was a big line just to ask for that one question...
