I’ve been a member here for a few years and have shown my support as a customer giving referrals and sharing about this location to many local bakers. Unfortunately a lot has changed with this company and they have become completely unprofessional and their customer care is terrible. They never have items in stock but I though that it being an exclusive members only shop this year they’d have better supplies and more stock and that’s definitely not the case. Not worth the membership anymore and definitely not worth supporting. I don’t know who’s running these stores but they have become very unprofessional and it’s not the same as it used to be. There are other locations in OC that carry cake and candy supplies, keep their items stocked, have great prices with no memberships needed and communicate professionally with their customers that are definitely worth giving your business to.

I hope refunds are going to be given for the membership we paid for. Came to shop a few weeks ago just to find out the store is closed for vacation with no notice given, now temporarily closed. I drive every week to come here for supplies, pay for a membership, which has my email on file. Least you could do is use everyone’s email to send a mass message about being closed. Would have been nice to receive some kind of explanation as to why I can’t shop somewhere I pay for. Will no longer be coming here and finding supplies elsewhere.

I have shopped at the store for years but now it is absolutely just not worth it. You need to purchase a membership in order to shop here now. If you are looking for more than cake boards and fondant I highly suggest you go somewhere else.

We have shopped at this location before and had no complaints until recently. My family and I eagerly drove for half an hour to buy some cake pop supplies. Upon arrival we were unaware of the new membership policy (which should be made crystal clear as to not waste people’s valuable time). At the cash register, we were attended by a cashier who made no attempt to help us. Not the best customer service, to say the least. We’ll be going elsewhere to purchase our baking supplies from now on.

Nothing like being told I have to pay to shop at a store. No, I’m not paying your membership fee. Your products are not unique and can be easily purchased elsewhere. I was planning on spending far more than what you would have made off charging me a fee but now I have such a bad taste in my mouth I’ll never go back to your store.

Absolutely NO inventory and they make you pay $10 Per day to shop or a yearly membership of nearly $100. I literally have more baking and candy supplies at home. I guess theyre not doing well and have to gouge people to make a dime. Ridiculous!

It was my first time at this location because I was passing through town. I was not impressed, the girl at the counter was rude and not knowledgeable at all. This company seems to have gone down hill. If I could get a refund on the membership please reach out to me because I can never find anything i need. A waste of my time and gas.. especially if Im driving out of my way after calling and being told they have product in stock when in reality they dont. At one point they had everything I needed and more but now its just better to purchase on Amazon. Cheaper and you dont have to deal with rude people.* you should really train your people to know the difference between a drum and a board*

The cake I got for my friend’s baby shower was fantastic! It was exactly what I discussed with the salesman and tasted delicious. The day it was to be delivered felt a bit frantic with multiple calls and texts from the bakery but it was delivered just fine and made the baby shower that much better. I highly recommend them for your “non-traditional” bakery needs.

Extremely unresponsive, and unprofessional. Their lilac brand products are always out of stock, asked them to call me when they receive a stock, yet they never called. Tried to call them 5+ times for past month, no one takes phone call, so I checked their hours online and visited only to find out they went summer vacation with a single notice on the door.

I attempted to call in to inquire on their editable image printing. A Gabby answered and put me on hold for 15 minutes. I finally hung up and attempted to call back but the line was clearly still off the hook, so I was unable to get through. After a 30ish drive, I arrived there only to find out they didn’t have sugar sheets. If they had just had decent phone customer service, I wouldn’t have had to waste my time and made an unnecessary drive.

Try everything, its all good! And finish with their massive halo-halo of course. Perfect for sharing with a friend or two. The staff are also so amazing! Service is always good and fast.

MEMBERS ONLY ALLOWED, silly. There isnt anything special at the shop to make it exclusive. In my opinion this is a quick way to lose the majority of potential customers.

Drove 30 minutes out of my way to this store because of the ratings and supplies, no mention of needing a membership to shop there. Upon arrival they told me it would be $10 for a day pass to shop since I didnt have a $50/yr membership. This needs to be highlighted as a requirement before people go out of their way to shop here.

I noticed several people had the same complaint as I do. Since you have a website why wouldn’t you state that this store is for members only. I too drove over 30 minutes to get there and then as I’m shopping I get told about the membership needed. But they will helpYou out by letting you buy a day pass for $10.00!! I’m sure they don’t post that it’s a membershipOnly store because I’m sure most people like me, will pay the $10 because I needed the item! What a ripOff!!!!

Great place and assortment of products, BUT now you have to have a membership to shop there like at Costco or pay $10 for a day pass. Thats a bummer for anyone who doesnt shop frequently.

This is our go to cupcake place for our parties or just when we have a sweet tooth. Their mousse topped cupcakes have ruined all other cupcakes for me!

No customer service skills from eployees.We had to wait in line to ask a question because employees are not attentive of what customers might need. We asked for assistance from an employee named Tori, but her response was very short and said what they had in stock was what I saw out there. It makes no sense to pay for a membership that I will have very little use of. Subsequently I headed to Calico Cake shop, which provided better customer service. Very disappointing how Cakewalk has lowered the standards of customer service at this location.

Everyone there was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the product. Even other customers were helping out it was a friendly happy place and Im excited to go back

Loved loved loved the atmosphere and energy you feel right when you walk through the door. December was soo helpful and sweet And helped me find everything I needed. The girls I see work here always have on a smile and treat you like family. Would recommend this place to anyone who is a baker or just someone who baking for a project/event. Super cool speciality store!

During the time where COVID-19 is on the incline the cashiers did not wear face coverings. The Apple iPad tgat handled my transaction was dirty and had visible with finger prints all over it. This is a place of business where the items in the store wind up near peoples mouths. I was grossed out and will not go back!

Very bad service, i come to the store multiple times a week and the workers always have attitude and are very slow. Most of the time the workers are rude and disrespectful.

As soon as my friend and I walked in, we were greeted. I asked if it was possible to have our own lil tour and the girl was awesome at it. My friend and I are very pleased. A plus was how kid friendly she was. We also got to sample fondant to make sure it was the one we wanted. We will be back for more soon.

Rarely do they actually have what ineed i always end up having to make a second stop you Bakers Bodega Express in fact some of the employees usually refer people there knowing they are hardly ever in stock of whay anyone actually needs their prices are kind of a joke to regular consumers you have to pay their $100+ lilac rewards membership to get a somewhat reasonable price i used to go there really just to browse but due to recent activity on their behalf i will NEVER shop here again i feel disrespected by this store entirely i do not recommend anyone to come here and waste their money when you can always find things cheaper at bakers bodega express

I tried to return/exchange a cookie cutter that I had purchased 2 days before that had rusted right away (before I even used it). They would not let me exchange without the $3.99 receipt.Really? I had just spent $50 at your store in the past two weeks and youre going to lose a regular customer over $3.99? I didnt keep my receipt because I thought I was buying a good product to begin with.I will never buy from Cakewalk again.
