I had a wonderful experience at Ferndales. Its family-owned with a wide selection. This was my third store to try on wedding dresses. My mom and I arrived for my bridal appointment and were greeted by Connie and Ana. Ana was very knowledgeable and helped me throughout the appointment. She wanted to know my style preferences and recommended dresses that aligned with my preferences. After 5 dresses, I finally found the one. I will always cherish this memory, thank you Ferndales for delivering and making this experience so special.
This review is long overdue. I made an appointment online and called to adjust the amount of people attending my appointment, to which they were easily accommodating. We were the only appointment at the time. Anna was who helped me, made me feel comfortable dressing/undressing. Shes a pro at those clips. She also knows the biz, the first dress she pulled was my favorite... I had to try it on again at the end because the others didnt compare, although beautiful in their own style.
Wonderful place! I got my wedding dress here along with alterations. It came earlier than expected and the alterations were perfect.
Soooo happy I went here for my dress!!! I originally went here to get a Maggie Soterro dress, but quickly fell in love with Allure Bridals... This place is small with tons of options and the nicest people who work there. This was my first and only store I went too, had so many selections didnt feel the need to go anywhere else. The same person helped me from day one untill I picked up my dress. I also got married in Cozumel which I brought a suitcase in and they packed the dress for me. Would highly recommend this place to any bride to be!!
They have the most beautiful trendy clothes that come in multiple sizes. They ship out right away, and I get my packages so fast! I get compliments all the time. Plus, they get in new styles almost every day! I would recommend them in a heartbeat.
I had a really positive experience when searching for a wedding dress at Lilis. I worked with Mary and she was the perfect person for my time trying on dresses. What I have experiences at other places is people rushing me in and out of dressing rooms, and trying to get me to buy the dress
I went to ferndales bridal. I’ve dreamed about going there since I passed it every day going to school and seeing dresses in the window. Going in my expectations were exceeded greatly! This is a family owned business and the mother and daughter worked great with me. From picking out my dress A MONTH AND A HALF BEFORE MY WEDDING (Covid), to accessories, to alterations, to even making me masks for myself and my bridal party, these ladies were there for it all. I would recommend them to anyone!
This bridal shop has the upmost superb service! I have to say from picking out my gown, to the dress fittings and alterations, they are absolutely fantastic. I ordered my dress pre-Covid, and it arrived during Covid times, they were still so accommodating with appointments for all my dress fittings to make sure my dress was ready for the big day! Yes I did it! I had a covid wedding, and I wouldn’t have been able to without the care and loving service I received from Ferndales. I even went to try on my dress for the first time alone, and it was tough because wedding gown fittings are supposed to be such a pivotal moment in a bride’s life but the store owner stayed by my side and helped me through the process. I truly thank you for everything!
This place was so accommodating! I live in Arizona and was only in town for the weekend. They were able to squeeze me in last minute. I had a very sweet girl help me, her name started with a Y, and I also met the seamstress, who I believe was the owner as well. They were all so friendly. Even though I did not get a dress from here I had other appointments before that was discouraging me from the dress shopping process. You guys put hope back in for me to find a dress so thank you so much!
LOVE this place. The consultant wasnt pushy, she listened to what I liked and was looking for. Such a large selection of dresses. It was like a sea of gorgeous gowns! All the lovely ladies that work there are so sweet and nice. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for their perfect gown. I had tried on all the dresses that I had in mind without any pressure. When I was feeling a bit like I wouldnt find *the* one the consultant brought out a dress that had just arrived and it was perfect! Their veils are also gorgeous. Family owned, very personable!
Stopped in for my mother of the groom dress. Great selection and the owner Connie even helped us. She was very personable and made it a great experience.
Beautiful dress, which was chosen for the style and color option by the bride (5 stars). However, it took a long time to come in and was very expensive considering the dress was too big and too long (they asked for all measurements, then ordered a generic size). Then they wanted to charge even more for tailoring, so I ended up doing it myself (I had to shorten the dress 10 inches). I also had to sew some shoddy seams closed, which was frustrating for such an expensive dress. The boning in the dress also made the dress migrate upwards, making the straps loose and they fell as a result. The staff was difficult to work with at times, but other times they were accommodating. They asked the bride if the matron of honor could pick up the dresses, rather than asking those of us who paid for them (very strange). On the bright side, they did allow me to payments to make remotely and held the dress for about a month after it arrived.Overall, I wouldnt recommend this place because I probably couldve gotten the dress on ebay for a lot less and had the same end result. (I didnt for the sake of the bride).Edit..You responded with the wrong bridal party reference. I have no idea who Erika is.And theres really no excuse for cutting corners on my $200 dress that had open seams that I had to sew closed. I couldnt attend the wedding with the dress like that. Regardless of where the dress was hemmed, it was shoddy quality for the expensive price. Sorry, I wouldnt call that excellent workmanship or a fair price.
If youre trying to find the perfect wedding dress look no further! When I walked into Ferndales Bridal I was greeted with a warm congratulations and everyone was so helpful and excited for me!
Shopped for my sisters wedding dress here. The staff was so sweet and helpful. There were 5 people in our group and there was enough room for us to hang out and relax while the bride tried on dresses. She was about to take her time and we never felt rushed.
Ana and the entire staff here were absolutely wonderful for my sisters wedding dress appointment this past weekend. Ana listened to what my sister was looking for and immediately had her in a series of dress that were all perfect. Additionally, Ferndales was the only boutique store we went to in the area with dresses to try on larger than a 12; which allowed us to actually tell what the dresses looked like on her frame. Thank you Ferndales!
Just bought my wedding dress here! Most stress-free experience ever. The consultant I had wasnt pushy either. She respected my budget too.
Krista was the best!! My friends and I had a wonderful experience finding my wedding dress! Thank you Ferndales for making this fun!!
High quality customer service. Very professional and helpful. Make an appointment on Sunday to receive the VIP treatment.
Fantastic experience here! Ana was so kind and made the whole experience amazing! Highly recommend!
If I could give zero stars I would. My maid of honor called to confirm if this store requires appointments. The representative stated no, but she was welcome to. We made an appointment, ran a little behind. So when we get there and begin the process she states we do appointments by the hour, rushed me, and was not even personable throughout. The store was extremely small, with not much space what so ever. I would not recommend this store for the lack of customer service and selection.
I had a terrible experience with alterations at Ferndales Bridal, which forced me to find a a new seamstress and get emergency alterations a week before my wedding. When Ferndales finally got around to hemming my dress, after the third fitting, they cut it terribly uneven, and too short in patches. They also failed to hem the underlayers, just leaving jagged cuts. They did not properly sew the skirt to the bodice, leaving an open, fraying seam at one place along the waistline. Additionally, they left a number of small holes, runs, and ironing scars (wrinkles that couldnt be pressed out) in the organza. The owner insisted that nothing was wrong, maintaining that having the bottom be an inch off the ground was not too short, and that wanting it longer was merely “a personal preference.” She said that what they gave me is how the dress is supposed to look, that no one would notice, and that I am just too particular. Over $300 on alterations, and they couldnt even be bothered to properly hem it.I know what you are thinking, dont most salons have some bad reviews? But ask yourself this, do you really want to take a chance on your wedding dress that your alterations will go smoothly here? You only get one wedding day (hopefully), and you want to look beautiful and take great photos.Do not get your dress altered here, or you will be taking a HUGE risk.
Anna was amazing! They stayed open late for us and were very helpful. My daughter showed Anna her pinterest board and asked my daughter a few questions and wa-laa she found her dress. Anna and the owner were so friendly and very accommodating. I would recommend this place to any bride to be!
Connie is the sweetest person i have ever met. The service was great and everything is wonderful.
Ive heard horror stories of this place. Me, and the wife decided to find out what they could do. The staff was unknowledgeable, and rude. Seemed as if they hired right out of high school. Since the owner is a fabled pain to work with, theyre probably the only people who they havent already fired.
The worse experience ever, this is not the only bridal boutique, stay away from them!I went to this bridal boutique because my sister has bought her wedding gown many years ago and we thought it was a good place to go back. Everything went well I found my wedding gown until I had a call from a very unprofessional and disrespectful lady named Ana. Ana called me less than 24 hours of my second fitting (3 weeks before my wedding) to “supposedly reschedule my appointment” because the owner, Connie had an “emergency” I panicked because I knew the big day was approaching. After an argument over the phone my mother called the store and asked Ana not to cancel my appointment, we couldn’t believe that without Connie’s approval I couldn’t try my gown???? Really??? We ended up going to the appointment and the reality was that they did have the dress ready for my second fitting, no alterations were done. When I finally picked up the dress we were upset at the fact that they overcharged for such a shady job and the dress looked awful…Connie insisted that it look great and that it was my fault they job was done like that. She also said to my fiancée, who had to call her to complain for the shady job she has done that I didn’t have a job so I kept on asking her for a better deal….WHAT??? When did I talk to you about not having a job???? Really??? I didn’t know I was unemployed lol… Not worth to deal with her crap, unprofessionalism, and rude staff… I had the worse time and experience at this place and I do regret buying the dress from this negative vibe and having it altered in there. I took my gown to another seamstress who laughed about the shady job this lady did. I wish I read the store’s reviews before walking to that store.Awful staff, awful experience and pricy for their shady job!
Wonderful staff.
Exceptional service.
