They have a wonderful showroom that allows you to see how all the different hard scape products look installed. They carry stone, bricks, pavers and everything else you need for hard scape in your outdoor space.

Great place to shop all things stone!

Went to look for some small rocks for a craft project for kids at church for Easter. The staff couldnt have been more kind. A young man in the showroom gave us a nice cloth bag for samples, and said go ahead and get whatever you need. We were able to pick out exactly the right size of small flat rocks we needed from among tons of selection. We obviously needed very few, but they were so kind about it. I thought they might just run us off. We will definitely be back when we need landscaping and tile or slate for the house, which may be soon!

My husband and I were thrilled to meet Mary on our visit. Mary knows everything there is to know about the materials at Thompson. We left feeling like we had made some solid decisions. This is a great place to see different stone materials on display.Mary, you made the whole process so much better with your sparkling personality!😋

This place may have a lot of material but they just hire any sales person that dont have answers and they dont tell you how to find them or who to go to to find them. they just say no. its ridiculous customer service.And as far as the material sales yard the guys in there are not helpful one bit they always seem like theyre too busy to talk to anybody and answer any questions

Great place, Great People, plenty of stone choices.

They have all the materials that you need for your outdoor living project. Friendly staff, and great customer service. They have a beautiful showroom displaying hundreds of different products.

So wife and I first went not to design center but the other location . I produced a picture of the blocks I wanted . Asked two workers did they have these blocks ? They said NO . The wife and I went to the design center . What a f n difference we spoke to forgive me the lady with the long nails . She IS without a doubt a wealth of knowledge ! If I had a company I would steal her from you . We told her what happened . She immediately called them the other yard . Her name is Mary she called Raul . And to go and see him . We did and you do carry the blocks !

The showroom in Orange is staffed with dingbats. But thats not the worst part. You have to select product there but pay for it at their other location. Then, you have to return to pick up your product or go to a third location. Its the most convoluted experience I have ever participated in. Also, the showroom manager there (Mike) was absolutely terrible at customer service. There was some confusion in ordering tile that had varying thicknesses and he was downright rude in his demeanor and would not help me with a solution. I will never return to this place and I will share my experience with anyone and everyone. I have a memory of this place that will haunt me forever. You are much better off going ANYWHERE else for brick, tile, stone, whatever you do stay away from JThompson Building Materials. That is my suggestion. Im getting irritated all over again just writing about it.

Very Good Pricing and Very good Service

Very bad set up yard wise, you better have a good +2hrs to spare because everyone like to take their time. Pick up and payment center are at different locations not explained even if your a first time shopper.

The employees at the show room were very knowledgeable and helpful. They have wonderful displays.

We showed up at your showroom at 2:11 pm today (Saturday) and it appeared like your staff was locking up. Asked a man if they were closing and he said yes. I explained to him that your web-site stated you closed at 5:00 pm. His response was very dismissive and he stated there was a sign on the door with the hours of operation. We drove an hour to visit your showroom. This was not a good customer experience.
