Loved the service here. Our server was really helpful. I really appreciated the fact that they kept some of the history that comes with this place. The food and drinks were delicious. I had a pineapple sage elixir, it hit the spot. Sweet but not too sweet and very refreshing. We shared the 12 hour beef short rib (many other tables ordered this) and the portobello mushroom fries they were so good. The short Rib comes on a bed of potatoes that was so tasty. Im not a big fan of green beans but it was still good. Even the restrooms are nice and definitely clean. We will have to come back and try a other items such as the local favorites. We came without the kiddos, I would recommend you do the same.As with anything in the Orange Circle parking is tricky but we were able to find one.

First off I love that they kept Rods Liquor alive with the decor.We came on a Sunday and tried a few items from the brunch menu. The food is a nice mix of old school classics with a modern twist. The country fried steak was great, and so was the shrimp and grits. The short rib chilaquiles were super flavorful and not too spicy. The bloody mary was perfectly salty and tart!I cant wait to come back to try the regular menu!

Similar to it’s sister restaurant in Newport Beach, the design and ambiance of this one is much better as they took over an old liquor store and left a lot of the unique design elements and a large patio. Given it’s a relatively new opening the service is still a little rusty and food beverage slightly above average. Definitely a fun addition to the circle.

The BOMB. Everything that I tasted was DELICIOUS. From the drinks to the chips even the ranch. I strongly suggest you give this place a try. I will say this restaurant is on my top 10 best I have ever tasted. Only downside, and this is completely my fault for not doing some research, there were no high chairs for my little one where we were seated. And my stroller wasnt allowed in either. Maybe somewhere else it may be possible to have them I really dont know. We requested a special server so that may have had to do where we were seated. Service was great. Place was clean. Restrooms were clean. I did hear for big parties wait time can be up to 2 hrs. So plan ahead and reserve a table beforehand. What else can I say Perfection in everything.

The food was amazing!! Flavor was SO good, and the side of steak fries was just the right blend of seasoning and a crispy skin.The only thing better than the food was our awesome server, Robin. She doesnt just deliver food to you. Her attitude and personality deliver soul food.

This is exactly what the Orange circle needed. The food and cocktails and service here are great. They’ve got every whiskey imaginable but have a full bar and beer menu to satisfy your needs if whiskey isn’t all that you’re after. Salads, burgers, sandwiches and a number of plates, you really can’t go wrong. Can’t wait to enjoy some beautiful sunny days on that patio if there’s. Everyone knows Bosscat has one of the absolute best brunch menus around!

Cant say enough about this place We go all the time. The staff and all the bartenders are great.. the foods really good my favourite so far is 12 hour brazed short ribbed and the brick chicken.. Desert.. banana pudding or the defried Apple pie.

Came here for some drinks and apps. The drinks were all good! The service was good! I think the food was mediocre for the price. With haven right next door they gotta step up their appetizer game. Everything we had just tasted like fryer oil. Definitely need to be changing it more often it seemed like. Overall Id go back for drinks and give them a chance with the entrees

You need to go to this place! We rented the Whiskey Room (seats 12) for dinner and libations, celebrating my wifes 60th birthday. Ask for Charisse if you want a friendly, professional server! Great food, and love the ambiance. Enjoy!

We had an excellent experience here for Mother’s Day brunch at this new Bosscat location. One of our dishes was delayed coming out from the kitchen, and the chef came out and personally apologized, shared that it was his first day and that that he’d made an initial iteration of the food that didn’t live up to their quality standards. He took ownership and they comped the dish, checked on us multiple times to make sure that we were enjoying it, and even brought out a complimentary dessert. Every employee we encountered was friendly and attentive. We were very impressed with the above-and-beyond attitude of customer service, and look forward to coming back soon!

Great drinks, really good grub and friendly staff, just oddly limited for the mixology fans (said they had no simple syrup one visit and a couple other common liqueurs/syrups on my last one).

From the time me and my friends walked in, were were delighted to such friendly staff! We got seated and our waitress was Hannah! She was super sweet. She was attentive but not to overbearing. The menu was simple and had the brunch vibes we were going for. I ordered a Mimosa and the Short Rib Chilaquiles!! The Mimosa was really good. Could have used a bit more orange juice but nevertheless it was satisfying. The Short Rib Chilaquiles with an over medium egg on top. It had red sauce that was to die for. It had a nice spice to it. The cut up avocado and sour cream helped cleanse my mouth. I would highly recommend Bosscat Kitchen and Libations for brunch with friends or family.

The cocktails here are wonderful! Its a pricey place but definitely worth it! Love the atmosphere, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the food and drinks and delicious.

Been here twice now for the great whiskey selection. So far the waiters have been hit or miss and they were out of the whiskey we requested. The pig candy appetizer is delicious but stay far away from the brussel sprouts! They put a slice of cheese on it and it does not go well 😂 The french fries are potato wedge style 😋

Love how they incorporated key elements of Rods Liquors into their interior. Love the converted drive thru patio, whisky room and overall vibe. Food and drinks are also perfect complement to the ambience.

This was our first time at this location. The food was good, our server provided excellent service and was knowledgeable in regards to both the food and cocktails. The only negative being it was a bit loud which made conversation difficult, but we had a table by the street that was great for people watching.

Such great service and our waitress was phenomenal. The Rasputin Stout was among the best Ive tried. Food wise, it left much to be desired. Its like they almost have it but not quite there. I had the Bosscat burger (chefs style), the blue cheese threw me off (just not my thing) and the Rosé wasnt really all that great. Im hoping with a few adjustments their menu choices will be flawless. I had a great time here though. Will come back and try other items.

Wow!!! This place is soooo good! I had shrimp and grits, my niece had the brisket Benedict and hubby had the avocado shrimp toast. Everything tasted amazing!!

We went here for the first time over the weekend. It was okay not great. The staff work hard to give good service, but the food ...the Mahi Mahi was good and the cornbread Madelines were good. My husband wasnt crazy about his salad and meatloaf. But the cheese sauce for the baked potato was delicious.Im very picky I like my food to be great, so I probably wouldnt go back. I did enjoy the seating outside.

But, if youre not planning on getting the banana pudding for dessert, dont even bother going! Its honestly one of the best items on the menu

Their gluten free menu is not gluten free. I have Celiac disease and had an awful reaction to what I was served. Even after talking to the server who talked to the chef, I still ended up sick after leaving.

Really good gastropub type American food. Great outdoor section to eat at. We got the pig candy appetizer which had some amazing flavor. Also go the bosscat burger which was very tasty. Not the best Ive ever had but certainly was an enjoyable burger and the atmosphere is very pleasant.

I had such high hopes for this restaurant. the food is okay. The customer service is HORRIFYING. I am a regular at the Orange Circle and this is the only restaurant in the entire vicinity that is not dog friendly. They refused to give my dog water even though he was completely parched from the scorching southern California sun. They had no regard for his health or safety when they refused to give him water. Dogs are not welcome here, nor are dog owners and lovers. Any other spot in the Orange Circle is a wonderful place to bring along your furry part of your family. However, this place is not the place to bring your animal. Extremely rude, frigid, and unwelcoming. I would not be surprised if this restaurant did not last long because of the lack of accommodation for their customers.

Our waiter was extremely attentive, to our partys every order and any special requirements. His desire for our visit to be a enjoyable experience, was truly apparent!Our food was as equally enjoyable, enhanced by a strong but smooth glass of whiskey. For a group of six without any complaints about the food now of days, speaks volumes about the quality of the food.The only minor issue was the limited desert menu, what was offered was delicious the coffee cake was a big hit.Overall Bosscats is a shining star of dinning in old Town Orange....

We were so excited to try the new hot spot in town. Probably came with expectations a little too high. After waiting an hour for a table we were finally seated on the unheated patio. Appetizers came long before the cocktails ( ordered together) and my steak dinner arrived cold and under cooked. The tomato soup was good, service was friendly. Gave dessert a chance and was underwhelmed there too. Very disappointed, wont be returning.

I tried this spot in Orange for the first time tonight and it was great! The bartenders were excellent for not only recommending delicious food and drinks, but also for giving (and showing) a mini history lesson on the business and how it set out to honor the longstanding business that was there in the building before it. The service was very good and the food we ordered was amazing. The tomato bisque soup was fresh-tasting and had a slight spiciness to it, and came with a perfectly-crispy grilled cheese sandwich. The corn chowder soup with parmesan bread was equally fresh but more hearty than the tomato bisque. We also ordered the charcuterie board as an appetizer. This one, while good, was skimpy in its portion sizing for its $24 price tag. We will definitely be going back when we have bigger appetites to try some of the incredible-looking dishes we saw the other guests happily digging into. Definitely a good spot to try out!

First time going here. We went on a recommendation from a friend and we were not disappointed.1st off, the ambiance/theme inside is super cool. Its built inside an old auto repair place. The vibe is upscale whiskey bar. They have 160 whiskeys on the list. And some very creative and tasty cocktails.2nd, the food was amazing. I really recommend the pulled pork hush puppies. OMG, heavenly. We tried a few items (including the strawberry buttermilk pudding cake. Are you serious?) and all of it was well made and delicious.Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. Come with friends. Good times!

So to anyone that goes here and says that their Whiskey menu is good beware.We went to the Orange location Friday night their menu states that they have 3 types of Crown Royal XO, XR and regular Crown Royal. So my client orders a Crown Royal XR sorry we dont have that ok I will take a XO we dont have that either ok I will take a regular Crown rocks ok the bartender comes back 5 minutes later sorry we dont have Crown Royal.So call ahead if you are looking for a whiskey.
