I wish I could give these guys five stars because I think they really tried to do a good job but were just in over their heads. I took a VW bug in to them to have the exterior sandblasted in preparation for new paint. Fenders, hood, engine lid and doors were all off to facilitate doing the job. We were cautioned that the blasting could create holes due to hidden rust damage. We were also advised that they had done multiple cars, and VWs in particular, in the past. Unfortunately they ruined the doors and hood. The doors and hood were no longer smooth over large areas and deemed unacceptable for painting by the automotive restorer I was using without a lot of costly labor and bondo. It cost me $800 to get replacement used parts. The good news was that the rest of the car was in acceptable shape with minimal blasting damage. I found these guys very pleasant and they completed the job on time as promised. However, I concluded that they didnt have the expertise to blast flat or semi flat sheet metal surfaces successfully. I later found that there are places that do. If you need something heavy and thick blasted I would recommended this place and I believe you would be happy with the results. However, I would not recommend this place for doing a car.
