I had been searching for weeks, trying to find a Metal end plug for my sax.After many hours of looking; I found the only place in the industry producing custom heavy brass end plugs! Even though we were a few days away from Christmas - Don handed my sax back the next morning, and most Music Stores are not looking at repairs or custom work till after the New Year. Don was able to adjust my Sax; and machine me a new plug overnight! Don at Orange Coast Sax Shop was recommended to me by a friend, I contacted him to set up a new horn I had received which had some leaks and the action wasnt what I wanted. I met Don at his shop, I told him what I wanted done, compared the action on my horn to a few he had in his shop and we got it dialed in. The work was quick at a reasonable price. Ive had work done by store repair shops and smaller sax techs but I really feel I received the best value for my dollar from Don.
