Nice people work here. They definitely didn’t help me though. They tried to tell me something was wrong with my tires and that they were shaped incorrectly and that they could not fix my car because nothing was wrong with it. I had shaking at freeway speeds and they said I needed to go to a tire shop to get new tires. The tire place told me that my tires were perfectly fine and to go back to Subaru. I decided to go to the Subaru in Portland this time and they figured out that I needed new bushing on my car, nothing to do with the actual tires. I definitely recommend Subaru in Portland. They seem to care

Their finance officer was skilled and presented me with no additional pressure to buy more products than was prudent. Ive done car sales and have seen the dirty dealings and the plus plus plus back-end sales pressure. This team did none of that; they shoot straight and deal above board. We did our research before coming in, and had a Forester in mind. Trish worked with us and got everything in order. The poor thing made it five blocks before the dash lit up like a Christmas tree. We brought it back and they quickly ushered it off to service. Once we got back behind the desk, Trish pulled over James and let him handle getting us sorted. He walked us through the options by budget and the needs we had as a family. When we found one that we liked, it was actually in the service bay. James ran down and had them take it off the lift so we could test drive it. It still needed a detail, it was that fresh on the lot. When we decided to go with it they signed an IOU so I can go get it detailed once their detailers are back (it’s the weekend). At the end of the day, the two of them were a solid team and we are beyond pleased with the service. Here’s to hoping it continues.EDIT: You know what? There were problems. And they did, in fact, continue being a solid team that put us as customers (and as PEOPLE) before any sort of profit. We had some issues with overheating, turned out to be a hairline fracture in the head gasket seal letting exhaust fumes into the coolant line. Tricky business, easy to miss too. They took care of us. They worked so hard to make it as painless and easy to work around as possible. Full communication, loaners, understanding and compassion. Lithia lived up to the reputation that they were given, Jodie especially went above and beyond to take care of us. They have our utmost respect, and sincere thanks, for going against every stereotype and fear I had when that light first came on after buying our car. Thank you all, amazing work, you’ll be seeing us again, and probably a good chunk of our friends, in the future. If I could give you more stars, I would.

I have used a number of the Subaru dealers around town (and around the country), and Lithia is one of the very best. The first car I purchased from them was back in 2005 and since then have used them for a variety of maintenance services and details of all my cars, all positive experiences. Most recently I was shopping for a new 2022 Outback and worked with Nigel. Nigel was very knowledgeable and took the time time to answer all of my questions and discuss all of my options. The whole process was super smooth, absolutely zero pressure, and there was total transparency which I really appreciate. Pricing was better than I was offered around town as well. If you are in the market for a new Subaru, go see Nigel and the team at Oregon City, you wont be sorry.

In reality, this should be a 6-star rating of my experience.I went to look at a couple of used Outback models and Jordan ultimately helped me find one (a 17 Limited) that wasnt on my radar. As my wife was at home (about 15 miles away) with our three-month old baby, I said that I like the car but will have to bring her back so she can check it out as well. Jordan suggested we instead drive it to her so she can look at it. Wow!This allowed for a nice additional test drive, the ability to check in depth more of the cars functionalities and it allowed me to get a good sense of its power and handling (we drove mostly on I-205 South).Jordan was fantastic to deal with, very accommodating, very clear in his communication, straightforward. When we came back to the dealership, he spearheaded the paperwork, explained the different options in terms of add-ons (warranties, oil changes, gap insurance, etc.) and financing terms, and made the whole process very smooth.Tobias handled all of the financial documentation and final paperwork and was impressively efficient with the time. And as time is of the essence, I appreciate efficiency almost as much as I appreciate courtesy and etiquette.All in all, a 6-star experience, and my family is forever grateful to these gentlemen and Lithia Subaru.

Everyone there is really nice and helpful!We had the pleasure of working with Shelby to create the new Subaru outback we just ordered.I loved him because he was incredibly low pressure and has a great sense of humor. Just an overall delight to work with.He didnt just sell me a car and disappear. He followed up with me frequently when the car was in the building process to let me know accurate timelines and also answered any questions I had. He even set me up for my first oil change while I was picking up my brand new car. Nicest guy, really.Geoff from financing also was really great - there was one part of the paperwork I found confusing, and he was patient and helping me understand.We love that youre allowed to bring your dog in and everyone loved on our pup, Opal! Had a bad experience at Lithia Subaru today. On Saturday, they responded to a general notification that I was selling a car and asked me to come down and show them the car. Over the phone they provided me an initial estimated purchase price.Heres what happened:They changed appointment time a day before the appointment without consulting with me -- I received an email notifying me of the time change.Upon arrival, I waited 25 minutes while standing awkwardly in a foyer.When my contact did show, he promptly said he was working on other things and passed me off to another person.After reviewing the car, they asked me what my selling price was. I went with a number that was 6% over their initial estimate they provided on the phone. I also told them that I plan on comparing offers. They immediately said not interested, handed me the keys.I then had to search the lot to find where they left the car.Throughout the experience they were rude and disrespectful, and basically wasted my time. I dont care that they did not want to buy the car. I would however have liked some info as to why their level of interest changed (was my price too high, something wrong with it, something changed in the three days since they initially called me).

The worst car experience buying I’ve ever had. Go to Gresham Subaru for a better experience. I thought my first buying experience (Gresham Subaru) was great and figured going to another dealership I would get treated the same and they would get things done in a timely manner. That is not the case here. I unfortunately needed a car ASAP and had to get one, but if I could do it all over again I would have taken my money and business elsewhere.

Had a great sales rep (trish) she made the process bearable. I made an appointment for 10:15, when I called to confirm they told me the car wouldn’t be ready until 11:15. when I arrived the car was “being washed” then I was informed it needed to be serviced, long story short didn’t get to test drive until 1:40pm. The finance manager made me feel like it was a privilege to be in his office - didn’t sit well after my long wait.over all I loved the car despite the fact that it was poorly cleaned, improperly maintained during the time it was with the dealership (they let the hybrid battery die) If I hadn’t loved this specific car I would have walked away at noon (.)

UPDATE - This place is even more of a waste of time. They don’t appreciate nor respect their customers. Cory, the “general sales manager” told me to contact him directly but never called me back, he just pushed me off to Mike in finance who basically told me my paperwork was never submitted and I had to resubmit it, he provided no answers because he was “just doing what he was told to do.”Trish is the only person I’ve dealt with that’s decent thus far.I purchased a brand new wrx. Requested cancellation of the extended warranty, I was told I had to go into the dealership to start the process. I did that in August, we’re now almost in October. Every time I call for a status update I get the same runaround “it takes at least six weeks.” No one ever takes my name down to ACTUALLY check the status, they refuse to get me to an actual finance manager, and the warranty still hasn’t been refunded.

Really good experience with Samantha buying a new car. Definitely recommend this place. Lowest price in Portland/Vancouver area. I would have given a 5 star if their Internet sales manager was a little bit nicer, she gave online price only for one vehicle and wouldnt say the exact milage on it. I wouldnt recommend her.

Not so impressed with LIthia. I needed a oil change and maybe a tire rotation on Saturday 08/21/21. I called ahead of time and was told no appointment needed just roll on up, so I did. I was told I need an appointment for Saturdays. I mentioned I called 30 mins ago and was told no appointment needed. I took this from their website....Stop in for an oil change, tire rotation or other minor maintenance services – no need to schedule ahead of time! Our dedicated team of factory trained technicians will get you and your Subaru back on your way. Fast. The only accurate statement was they got me on the road very fast....

It was a great experience! I went in already knowing pretty much exactly what car I wanted. I spoke with them and got a price quote online and just came to the dealership for a test drive and got the car. My salesman, Daniel, was very friendly, not pushy, and made me feel comfortable during the whole process. The paperwork and negotiation process was very quick and I was in and out of the dealership in about an an hour and a half! Brian Manning really advocated for me and got me top service including new tires, detail work and paint on the used car prior to me taking ownership of it. He also drove the car out to me which was very much appreciated. Everything was great, so why the 1 star? Because of Perma plate. We were lied to about this service just to make a buck. I tried cancelling it after trying to use it for a rip in the seat and armrest damage. Was told at Subaru everything would be covered especially since we have big dogs. Well got dog damage and nothing is covered. Called to get a refund and the salesman that answered had an attitude, after some pretty words I was transferred to a manager who didnt answer of course. I left a message and never heard back. So why one star? In short, they lost all credibility by lying to sell Perma plate and then ignoring my attempts to resolve issues.

I purchased a brand new Forester that was in transit after test driving a few at the dealership. Despite this 1-star review, my experience with my salesperson, Sarah, was overall positive. She was patient, knowledgeable and kind. Most of my issues are with what happened after my purchase.- Right before signing, I was told the vehicle was actually $2,000 more than the sticker price on the website.- When my vehicle was delivered a few weeks after purchase, I was simply handed the keys and owners manual by someone on shift (my salesperson was off). A dash light was on to indicate low tire pressure. When I inquired about this, I was told that happens sometimes and to come back if the pressure was in fact low. To no surprise, it was low and I had to come back. I stood there as the staff argued over who would have to fill my tires.- I had purchased Subarus roadside assistance, Starlink. Come to find out, this needed to be activated upon delivery and because it wasnt, they would need to refund me and I would have to repurchase it. This took weeks to resolve over several texts, phone calls and a visit to the dealership.- Within a few days of ownership, I realized one of the headlights on my vehicle was cracked, something that may have been caught had there been a walkthrough at delivery. When I reached out to see if the extended warranty Id purchased would cover it, I was told if I filled out the satisfaction survey thats emailed from Subaru after you make a purchase and gave them a perfect score, that the management might consider replacing my headlight - something they were sure to tell me cost upwards of $1000. I was also told that they are specifically not allowed to ask clients to complete the satisfaction survey, and to please keep that in mind as I filled out the survey.For a customer that was very patient and easygoing through the blips in my experience with the delivery and Starlink issues, I was appalled to be so blatantly manipulated and gaslighted into giving them a good survey score for an issue I wasnt even asking them to fix in the first place. In the end they fixed my headlight, however I will never buy another vehicle here ever again because of how I was treated after the purchase, and will not be recommending this dealership. It is bad business to manipulate your customer and ask them to lie, particularly after theyve already not had the best experience.

I had THE BEST experience at this dealership. I got my dream car, a 2021 WRX, from these folks. They made the process incredibly smooth, fun, and relaxing. I had left another dealership literally in tears, and I came to Lithia Subaru of Oregon City and they completely turned my car shopping experience around. I was looking for a specific car, and they found it for me and had it delivered to the dealership! I worked with three folks, Ryan, Cory, and Tony. Tony called me and mentioned he would be away, and Ryan and Cory were going to take care of me. Tony was kind and gracious with this deal, and I trusted that I was being partnered with people he trusted. Cory called me and scheduled a time for me to come in and meet up with Ryan. I was happy to not have to chase people down. Cory made sure I was connected with the right people. Finally, I met with Ryan who was such a pleasure to work with. He was excited for me and made sure I had everything that I needed. He facilitated the sale, and got me in my car pretty quick. No BS. This used to be a great dealership to work with but things have gone downhill. I currently own my second Subaru from them in the past 10 years and have had all my maintenance and service done through them. The service department has become joke. They dont care about your time or help fix their mistakes. Not only will you wait WAY longer than necessary for a routine oil change if they accidentally cause damage to your vehicle they will not be helpful in fixing their mistake. They will want to charge you $145 an hour to diagnosis the issue and then charge more for replacement parts that may or may not be covered under the extended warranty I purchased. They will not go above and beyond to make things right and could care less. I will go out of my way to have my car serviced elsewhere. Such a shame as I used to recommend Lithia and speak highly of them. That will no longer be the case.

Brian Manning was so helpful understand where our family needs were when it came to deciding what type of vehicle we needed. Gave us the time to decide and weigh our options then really gave the financing a push to help us get into a vehicle same day. Making sure we understood every detail along the way and what steps we had to take to make it all happen. A few hours and we were happy buyers of a brand new Subaru. I want to give Lithia Subaru zero stars for their customer service. I tried numerous times calling their service department and left 8 messages. I wanted to make an appointment for a recall on my 2015 Subaru Forrester. Nobody would return my call. I even called the sales department to see if anyone was working in the service. The person assured me that she would have someone call me to schedule this appointment. I even reached out to the manager and no response. I gave up and called Gresham Subaru!!!! What a DIFFERENCE in customer service. I spoke with an actual person in their service department. I scheduled my recall, oil change and tire rotation and Gresham Subaru was amazing. I will NEVER go back to Lithia Subaru in Oregon City. I will be purchasing a new Subaru next year, and you know where I’m going GRESHAM Subaru.I will NEVER call or purchase a Subaru from Lithia Subaru because of EXTREMELY POOR customer service!!!!!!

Our sales experience with Christine was great. Post sales, however, has not been great. During our signing we asked finance about a second key and he said he wasn’t sure. We then looked through the inspection sheet that was filled out at the end of January and saw the car came with two sets of keys and noted that fact out load, finance did state that while it was marked sometimes the second key can go missing but said to check with our salesperson. We checked with Christine and she said she would look for it and call if she found it. We were a bit weary but also had been waiting for a while to complete the deal and needed to get home. My husband called that following Monday and spoke with Bobby (or Bobbi?) who said that since we didn’t purchase the extended warranty it wasn’t their job to provide a second set of keys, then my husband mentioned the inspection sheet of which she wasn’t sure what he was talking about and then proceeded to stated it wasn’t their problem. He called back, albeit irate after the last comment, asking to speak to a manager several times, Bobby argued with him but finally put him on hold and then came back on to say they weren’t available. I really regret giving my money to Lithia Subaru - Oregon City and shouldn’t have signed the papers. I do like my car, I just hate doing business with shady people. I have bought a few cars and dealt with quite a few dealerships and this has been the worst post sales experience.

Came to this dealership after just moving from San Francisco to the Portland area and being referred by a friend about their great experience. My boyfriend and I were looking at the 2020 Subaru Forester and weighing our options between the Limited and Sport edition. Both Kyle Belles and Keven Jelden helped us get into the Subaru Forester we wanted, a Forester Sport through respectful and patient negotiations (with aggressive numbers on our end) that we were mutually satisfied with. They both were so calm throughout the whole process making this lease experience one that didnt leave a bad taste in our mouth. Thanks Keven, Kyle, and Lithia!

TL;DR - stay away! They tried to sell us a vehicle for 4K over the advertised price, then lowered our trade in value when we pointed this out. Their mistake shouldn’t be the customers problem. Also, they sell at mark up (whereas the other dealership we visited today doesn’t - Wilsonville Subaru).My husband and I went to test drive a 2021 Crosstrek Sport today and worked with Brad (or Brian?). The sticker price on the car window showed 29k, but when we were given pricing inside, we were told it was now 31k but they would give us 20k trade in value. I pulled the price up on the Lithia website since other crosstrek sports we had seen were only 29k max. Turns out that the exact car they were trying to make us pay 31k for was listed on the Lithia website for 27k (as pictured)!!When I brought this up, suddenly they weren’t sure they could even sell the car since it was a service vehicle (although I have a hard time believing Subaru sent them one of the hottest crosstrek models as a service car with how in demand they are right now. Not to mention the “service vehicle” story wasn’t brought up AT ALL until we wanted them to sell it to us for the price THEY LISTED IT FOR). They came back and said the lowest they could sell it to us was 29k, but they simultaneously tried to lower the amount they were willing to pay for our trade in by 2k, which essentially equaled out to be us paying the same as if we were paying the 31k for the crosstrek.I also think it’s worth noting that when they gave us the paper to show they’d sell the car for 29k and what our monthly payments would be, etc., they conveniently glossed over the change in the the trade in value from what had previously been discussed. When we pointed that out, they tried to argue with us to accept a lower number.Needless to say we walked away and will absolutely not be returning. Many of our friends have had extremely poor experiences here as well, especially if they are new to car buying.EDIT: I uploaded the latest listing. It appears the dealership has fixed the price, but I mean...seriously? Bait and switch law, much?

My first visit to Lithia Subaru was very positive. My 2013 Impreza needed its 90,000mi mile service. Rachael (service advisor) answered all my questions and made sure I didnt need anything waiting for my car. After my car was done she went through the invoice to make sure all the work was done. I dont normally write reviews but I would give 0 stars if that was an option! Sarah Duff contacted me through Facebook to purchase my car and after answering her questions they agreed to pay the price I wanted, she then had me answer more questions and give her all my personal information as well as sign a form for the pay off of my car. Well after I did all that she came back and said oops I was wrong my manager will only pay $2000 to $3000 less then what they Originally agreed on! It was so unprofessional! Just when I thought it couldnt get any worse Manager Val Brown called and told us that what had actually happened was the buyer they had lined up backed out so that is why they werent going to buy it! So they lied the first time! When we questioned the unprofessionalism of the whole ordeal he was very rude! Buyer or Seller beware of Lithia Subaru of Oregon! Dont let them waste your time! *In response to the comment below* That is another lie because I ended the conversation. Wow! At this point I am so thankful we did not do business!

My first experience 4 years ago I thought was a amazing until a few days after I drove off in my car I got a phone call saying that I wasn’t approved for the amount I originally signed off on. The new deal was very off from what was already drawn up but given my situation I had no choice. Fast forward 4 years and I’m looking at trading in, I go to other dealerships and see that I was completely taken advantage of. This left a bad taste in my mouth about the dealership and I told myself I would never go back. Unfortunately I was in an accident that totaled my Impreza and a neighbor recommended Oregon City Subaru, I told them about my previous experience and they told me that I need to give Annie a shot and that she’s the best and will change my mind about the dealership. He was more than right. Annie was so amazing and so much more up front than the pervious sales person I had worked with. She was so apologetic about my past experience and the mistakes that were made in my deal. Looking back at my information in the system, the pervious salesmen made my income look higher than it was (this sales person was fired 3 years ago thankfully). Annie did more than she needed to and I am so happy I got to work with her!Annie and her whole team are definitely all working for the same mission instead of for themselves.
