Absolutely the worst customer service on the face of the planet! I called ahead to ensure they had a firearm in stock and was quoted a price. When I got to the store I discovered they quoted me the wrong price. The gentleman behind the gun counter apologize for calling me the wrong price. I explain to him that I came from North Salt Lake and I polite requested that if they couldn’t honor the price they would at least match the competitors price. He said he had to go talk to the manager. He came back and said there’s nothing they can do. I asked to talk to the manager. The clerk went back and spoke to the manager again and came out and said “he’s too busy to speak with you right now“. I can’t believe a business would treat a customer this way and I will never ever return to this gun store again. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I rarely leave negative reviews about a business so you know my experience was as bad as it possibly could be. I guess it’s a blessing in disguise because I would never ever want to take back a purchase from the store and expect them to do anything to make it right. I even explained my situation to the nice clerk on the way out the door and she just dropped her head and said she was sorry.

Wonderful store, bought many firearms here. They keep good inventory, didn’t get crazy on prices thru the pandemic as other local stores did. Always treated well, had a small issue for the first time ever. Been coming here for years, handled above and beyond, eventually every business will have something come up, it’s all how they respond. These folks have my business for life.

Greatest gun store I’ve ever been in, the staff are almost always top notch, and the selection is always great. They seem to be able to keep ammo in stock more often than other stores lately, and are not marking prices sky high during the shortage. My only complaint is that there have been times when I have waited for 10-15 mins at the ammo counter before someone would come over to help me, and these were not during “rush” days. Other than that, Gunnies is fantastic.

Be sure to check what youre buying. I bought an Ar-15 lower and it was marked as new so I didnt think anything of it but when I went to put it all together I noticed that there was a manufacturers defect. Since all sales are final thats that. The low rating comes from selling subpar parts as new. (the receiver is a palmetto so it should be good.)

No matter how well you think you know the staff or how much business you do with them, dont expect any special treatment, especially from the management. Good selection. Counter staff are nice, especially Matt and Ron. They are SOOO busy that you are just a number. No and ifs or butts.

Fantastic place. They take their time with each customer, and Ive never felt pressured. The staff has made great recommendations, and they have kept their prices relatively competitive even during the pandemic. They have a large inventory, and a great selection of other related merchandise (tools, apparel, etc). Ive also used them as my FFL before, and the entire transaction transpired without a hitch.

Absolutely the worst customer service ever!! I stood in line for an hour while I was ignored the whole time..only two people working behind the counter but it was early in the day and not very busy!! Literally I felt like I didn’t exist to them all I needed was two small item from behind the glass case but they couldn’t be bothered to say “ be right with sir “ or “ what can I help you with sir “ after they finished with the two customers in front of me the guy walks back and starts helping the person behind me that’s when I had enough and I said wait a minute I was in line first then he tells me it’s hard when they only have two people working the counter.. since when is it hard to not ignore people.. after I called him out on it he was not helpful at all I felt like he wasn’t even trying to help me with what I came in for!! I told him that I was going somewhere else and I walked out!! I will never go back to gunnies ever and I will never recommend anybody else go there!! I went down the street to READY GUNNER and had excellent customer service and was in and out in minutes!!

Wow... What a great buying experience. This was my first purchase of a rifle. Michael was so experienced and knowledgeable. He took an hour and explained the difference between the options I was looking for. Great prices and excellent service.

Selection: extensive.Prices: competitive.Employees: impressive.What I love most about this place, is that the employees aren’t paid commission. They don’t try to upsell you on a gun or features you don’t want or need. On several occasions I have gone in with a few questions about a firearm and after 30-45 minutes, felt no guilt for not buying anything. Totally different atmosphere than any of the big box stores.

Great place to buy guns and ammo. This is one of the only stores that seems to be able to consistently stock 556 ammo. I sent them an online message about availability for a gun, and was able to go pick it up the same day. They have great customer service. They are always busy, but that is because everyone knows this is the place to go.

Like half of Utah County, my father and I paid Gunnies a visit on black Friday and despite the crowds of people, we had a rewarding shopping experience. Their gun counter was staffed with knowledgeable and helpful experts and there exists a real sense of a family business there. Monica, who managed the floor, was especially impressive in her customer service. She went out of her way to maximize our experience, even making a point to learn our names. Sure it was a madhouse, but well worth the visit. My only gripe was that they really need to set up more registers for checkout as that was the major bottleneck.

I like Gunnies not just for the obvious of it being an outdoors store, but mainly due to the excellent staff! They are very friendly and knowledgeable.

I had a bad experience in the store today. They need to hire more employees. I waited for a long time to ask about ammo and nobody was even working the ammo counter, there were about 8 of us just standing there. Also two customers in the store weren’t wearing masks which goes against Utah Counties mask mandate. Nobody in the store ever asked if I needed any help, I ended up going to big 5

One of the best local gun stores in the valley. Like everyone else supplies are limited but at least they are upfront and honest it. Yes you sometimes have to wait to be helped but when its your turn, its your turn. Not a simple no we are out followed by Next.

Great customer service by Josh and Brian Hood. I came in having in mind the gun I intended to purchase, and they helped me select the attachments and put them on for me. The attachments (red dot and flashlight) cost less than on Amazon. I couldnt take possession of the handgun that same day because Im from out of state, but they were very helpful to get it transferred to my local gun shop.

Most frustrating thing happened. I called the store and asked if they had a Glock 19 in stock. The lady I spoke to, told me they had two. I asked if they would set it aside for me because I was on my way. She told me that they weren’t able to hold it. I literally drove over an hour to buy one. Upon arriving, I was told that they just sold out. I explained to the guys at the counter that I just drove over an hour because I was told there was two in stock. They told me that I should’ve called ahead to have them set it aside for me, which is exactly what I had done but was told that they couldn’t hold it.

I thought I found a decent deal for shotgun shells, instead I paid 45$ for 10 rounds of buckshot. I called in and of course customer service apologized and said the ad may have been misleading we can refund you but seriously. It specifically stated 100 rounds in case which implied I was buying a case. Wont ever shop her again. Hard enough to find ammo, but geez come on guys!

I love this place! The customer service is beyond exceptional If you cant get a particular item in the store that day they are willing to do special orders and make sure that you get your item. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They have great Western wear, boots, sandals, and my favorite 5.11 tactical four men and women! Oh did I almost forget to mention how many guns we carry? Its your one-stop shop for any guns ammunition or western attire!

ILoveGunnies!Ive always had a good time there and the staff is always available to answer my questions, even if I have to wait. They are very matter of fact and I appreciate that! Too many stores out there put on the fake smile and baby talk me. Step off..Additionally, many of you claim the customer is being ignored by sales associates, so I have a question for you:If youre attempting to buy a firearm, isnt it worth the wait to talk with someone who can actually help? Every time Ive been in the staff is talking to someone so it also begs the question, are you so rude you need to cut in front of another customer who probably had to wait to be down to? Im getting the sense that most of the bad complaints are from impatient people. Take a chill pill and wait like the rest of us. I bet youre the same people complaining about wearing a mask during the current mandate, and park in the fire lane to get your pizza because youre on a hurry. Heres an idea... fall in line. We all have to deal with set backs. Your pizza or gun isnt more important than anyone elses. Get your $hit together, Karen.That is all.

They are riding the wave of demand at the moment. One of the guys behind the counter basically said they don’t have to provide good service because they will sell guns either way. After countless thousands of dollars spent I will be supporting other local businesses who aren’t ignorant, arrogant and ungrateful.

Gunnys has the best prices on ammunition, and the best selection Ive been able to find. I was able to get enough ammo at a good price to do my companys range qualifications without breaking the bank.if you need an answer to any firearm related question, Ron at the gun counter is THE MAN to ask. We call him Yoda, because he is a Jedi when it comes to firearm knowledge and skills. I have friends who have hunted with him and he can put his money where his mouth is. Ive also bought several firearms here over the years, pistols and rifles, and did so because in addition to great customer service they have the best pricing and deals around.

Always a line to small of a parking lot. Good place to buy guns and ammo at a fair price but almost everytime Ive been there theres been a line that circles the building.

They have the widest variety of pistols and they were in stock.They also sell suppressors and have an easy to use kiosk to do your paperwork.

I cant count how many times Ive been here, but I have always had a great time in store. The gun counter employees are knowledgeable about various firearms, and would give them a five star review. Only down side that I have had is calling in. a few times I have called in and was left on hold for some short times and others for over 40 minutes. I would recommend coming here over other gun counters.

I grew up in Orem & bought my first pair of boots here when I was 16. I still own them & wear them all the time! The Western wear selection is fantastic & it has to be next to impossible to not be able to find something you like. They have a great inventory of outdoor & hunting clothes as well as camping supplies. The ammo I need is always in stock & if they dont have it out they will usually help me find some or something comparable. I bought my first gun here too & being a girl it can kind of be intimidating. But the process was quick & easy & not stressful. All the employees are awesome. Great shop!

The best stock of reloading supplies ive seen, they had just about everything you could want. Got a few hundred Hornady Hap projectiles and primers. Even during this 2020 pandemic know as the great primer shortage. Also found a mag for my old out of date P99. This place is great, would highly recommed to anyone who reloads or loves firearms

If there were any downsides, its that it can get quite busy at the gun counter, and wait times can be long, but I guess thats to be expected when you are at a solid gun shop.

I’ve purchased a couple guns from Gunnies. They’re great teachers and don’t make you feel dumb for not knowing much about firearms. I went in with a specific gun in mind, but came out with a different variation after the guy at the counter helped me see the benefits of the other gun. They’ve got great prices on everything and their ammo is some of the cheapest in town.

Likely not a company policy but an individual representing Gunnies so all are guilty the same! I have been a regular for decades and recommended Gunnies to many friends. I didnt realize that the color of skin or the language spoken was an issue at Gunnies. I had friends go in and they are the best of people, I and may others trust them like close family. They are successful and have a large following of family and friends that IF Gunnies would have treated them as a customer it would have been a very good business activity. But no, your employee stopped his interaction with another customer and told my friends they had to speak English while inside Gunnies? Have I missed this sign in your business? 2019 this stuff ends up in the media and while there still is the ugliness of discrimination in its many flavors it does not belong in any of them. I hope you as a business take the time to educate your employees including owners and management if needed to improve your place in society. Shame on me for recommended friends to Gunnies but bigger shame on Gunnies since this is sad. While my friends do not speak English as their preferred language is they speak English better than most English only and they are great CITIZENS of this Country and VALLEY I call Home. Take a moment and ponder on the UNITED in UNITED STATES and learn to live it. Hate has no place anywhere.

Didnt have in stock what we needed as many places dont but were very professional in trying to help us get what we needed. They are even following their own rules inside. Will definitely be back after things settle down.

WATCH OUT!!! Gunnies has representatives that’ll tell, even lie, you anything to sell you a firearm. They act like they know what they’re talking about but will tell you what you want to hear to sell you anything. Customer service is lacking in the gun dept. and management needs customer service training. Instead of trying to fix an issue of mine management tells me I either pay extra to return a product (because there are man hours that go into returning a product) or take and lose out on money because I won’t be able to use the product. Gunnies was my go to place until they couldn’t do right by their mistake, even after their mistake I wanted to give them a shot but they DID NOT want to help me. They don’t care to lose one customer because they have enough coming to them. I won’t be going back to Gunnies again, they have lost all of my business.

The plan was to go and get camping supplies at a local store. Why would I wait in line for 10 minutes to have somebody behind me taken first with no explanation. Don’t waste your time coming here just go online it’s much faster. Service there is not available.

Great stock of guns and ammo.

In a time of fear and price gouging, I found what I was looking for not only on sale, but an employee restocking the shelves and marking items at the same old price. This is how you can tell a business cares about their customers. Massive inventory, helpful gun counter folks and very polite staff. My hat is off to you.

Havent been there yet, but they never answer the phone. Im not going to drive 20-30 minutes hoping they have what I need.

Not impressed with customer service.

Two times at the store and it took 15 minutes for someone to notice you standing at the counter. When they did “help” me it was very poor service. I did not feel welcomed as a customer. They’ve got a massive selection and if you don’t care much about service this is a place for you.

Every so often they have good deals on ammo here so I’ll swing by. I haven’t browsed much of their clothing but it seems to be good quality. Sometimes the workers seem a little stand-off-ish but generally helpful.

They always have the unusual cartridges I buy in stock. Decent prices on stuff especially good place to buy firearms products you need that day. The only reason I didnt give them five stars is that it takes a long time to check out or find someone to help you when theyre busy. Still a great store.

I’ve purchased a couple of guns here over the years. They have decent pricing, good service, and carry a few harder-to-find items. It’s more of a local feel than Sportsman’s or Cabela’s.

Great local gun shop with great customer service. Most of the guys there know their stuff. Good selection and competitive prices. What keeps me from giving them a full 5 star review is their phone service. I have called many times at different times of the year. No matter what, I wait a ridiculous amount of time on hold to get someone to answer. There has to be something they can do about it. If they fixed this Id give 5 stars. Despite the long holds, I will continue to do business with this great shop!

I’ve purchased two guns and lots of ammo at Gunnies over the years. I won’t be buying anything here anymore.Last Saturday, I bought some ammo at Gunnies. Shortly after I did, I went to Al’s Sporting Goods and found the same ammo for less than half the price I was charged at Gunnies. I should have shopped around—I can’t believe I’ve been paying out the nose for ammo at Gunnies for all these years.Also, when I tried to return the ammo, Gunnies sales gal told me that a federal law prohibited them from accepting returned ammo. After I left, I tried to find the law she was talking about. There isn’t one.So, after over paying for ammo and being lied to, I’m saying goodbye to Gunnies and hello to Al’s.

They were better than cabellas, get some guns. They were very impressive.

They have some great guns, they have a lot of interesting things that i would be very interested in buying, but the real, sad, unfortunate fact is you couldnt find somebody here to help you or answer a question to save your life. You can stand up at the counters, you can have something in your hand, you can have a look on your face that says I have a question, and you will never have anybody approach you to find out if they can help. The only way that I would buy anything here is if I knew ahead of time exactly what it was that I wanted to buy, didnt have to ask a question and can take it directly to the cashier because presumably theyre not going to ignore you because youre there to spend money. you guys really do a disservice to your potential customers unless you actually arent out to sell anything except for by accident.

I was pleasantly surprised w/ this store. Its in pretty good shape vs your avg gun store. Its well lit and fairly clean and organized. They also had a very good selection of handguns available. The prices were also pretty competitive, much better than Ready Gunner down the street. There was a good selection of accessories and reloading items as well.

It was my birthday and I went here wanting to purchase a gun from these guys, little did I know, they had very poor communication skills and it would just seem that they didnt want my money period. I didnt feel comfortable standing there for 20 minutes waiting for someone to greet me. Luckily for me, I was able to go to Get Some and give them my business and was able to purchase a gun from them. I will not give Gunnies my business ever.

There was a shotgun advertised with a nickel barrel, pistol grip, and upgraded stock. Called and asked if it was in stock, gave the model number and described the gun, and was told they had a box of twelve.I drove from Salt Lake to Orem and waited in line for 45 min. When it was my turn to get helped, I was given a completely different, and inferior gun. I explained thats not the one I was looking for. They said that this was the model number I gave them on the phone. Maybe, but the gun was literally described to them, and they said they had it. They offered to show me other guns. I asked them to order me the one I came for. While the associate was trying to order, someone came over and told him that when he was making the ad flyer, that he used Google, and pasted the picture he found. Well he also posted an exact description of the gun in the picture.The associate came back and told me it was a complete misrepresentation and he was sorry. Good on you (I know his name, but Im not writing it).Well, I wiped the metaphorical spit out of my eyes and went home. This sucks, because Ive sent many people here, Ive purchased from them, I thought they were one of the best. Now, I feel like someone would that had a bait-and-switch performed on them. There was zero effort to make this right . There was zero accountability. I was offered a cheaper model for the sale price, and I was offered to get upsold. The only recourse I have is to let everyone know what happened to me. I, in good conscience, can never recommend any go here.

They were all very kind and helpful. I was greeted at the door when I arrived. I was giving advice on the best products and where to find them and was personally assisted in all of this. Theres a few products that they didnt have in stock and help me find where I could get them immediately if I so chose. We have turned my business by their outstanding customer service.

I wanted to buy a hunting rifle. I have little experience and the salesman was very informative. I am happy with my purchase, saved money, and received better gun. The service was great and the salesman had plenty of patience. I will go back for more service, advise, and future guns.

Awesome selection of all things shooting sport related. They have new and used firearms. They have some killer deals from time to time that sell out fast so be sure to check the monthly sales flyer thats available on the website. They also have a good selection of western clothing and work clothing. Great boot prices too. Customer service is always awsome.

Bought many boots and other items over the years. Last week tried to get help sizing some boots but no one could help. Finally used their foot measuring tool and bought some boots. Took them home and wore them to break them in and very quickly realized they were to big. Called the store and was told I couldnt bring them back if they were worn at all. Love giving my money to local business but I guess there is a reason online is beating our brick and mortar

Gunnies has way more guns and ammo than any other place around here. It is a small area, but its packed with parts and accessories for lots of different gun types. Also, the variety of reloading supplies available is so much better than the sportsmans gouge-house, its not even a worth going anywhere else. Best part-- there is a silencer shop kiosk here, and if you want a suppressor its so darn easy to get all set up. Dont buy a suppressor from anywhere else!

I went to Gunnies for the very first time and sadly it will be my last. My friend recommended me to that store and he came with me because he wanted to buy a new handgun. Mind you, I don’t expect a salesperson to know everything about the products they sell but general knowledge would be helpful. I’ve worked in retail fun sales for over 5 years and am a gunsmith by trade, however, I heard a salesperson telling a customer complete false information about BATF rules and regulations. When I asked to see a firearm, the salesperson I was dealing with, after waiting twelve minutes to even be talked to, could not figure out what firearm I asked to see even when I asked about the firearm by make, model and color. After about 20 minutes of the salesperson searching their distributors for a part of that same firearm he told me they could get the part I was so eagerly searching for, only to realize he didn’t know what he always actually looking for. I told him the manufacturer part number as well as distributor part number for the item and that is when I found out they couldn’t get it. Buyer beware! Do not go to this store expecting them to order you the correct item(s) unless you physically see the item they say they are ordering for you.

Picked up the wrong size of socks. When I went to return them it took over 20 minutes and we were the only customer. Plenty of employees walking around. Not many helping.

One of my favorite firearm stores! Ive purchased multiple firearms from them. Their regular prices are awesome. I often see used firearms going for more at other stores. Be careful about Saturdays! They have some incredible deals but huge crowds. Youll have to wait longer and you wont be able to get as much personal attention. On Saturdays, if know dont what you want before had youll have a frustrating experience. If youre trying to decide what to buy go in on a weekday and youll get great advice on a great selection.

Great customer service and prices!

Gunnies has been my number one location for all my shooting needs. While other locations around town up their prices and then say they will price match. Gunnies places their items with the best price to start with. I have bought a number of guns and accessories from Gunnies and have been very pleased with their great prices and excellent selection. On average I save 30-60 dollars when i buy my firearms from Gunnies vs. other local locations. With the recent ammo shortage many locations around town have increased prices for primers and ammunition. Gunnies was not one of them. I will continue to use Gunnies as MY firearm and firearm accessories provider. I have and will continue to recommend Gunnies to friends and family.

This shop has tons of gun related items if you can dig around and find them. The employees are always helpful and knowledgeable on most questions that I’ve asked. The prices are awesome and usually lower than most gun shops just down the street from this one. My only complaint about this shop is that it is so extremely packed into one corner. The western clothes section takes up a majority of the store. Which I don’t understand because every time I’m there everyone heads directly to the gun section. Sometimes on the weekend you can’t even browse around because there are so many people standing everywhere waiting to look at guns behind the counter. Which is disappointing because sometimes I have to just leave without what I came to purchase due to not being able to get to it. But other than that I’ve purchased tons of stuff here and have no regrets. I’d definitely recommend making the drive here from SLC it’s worth it.

Decent gunstore. Cant speak much for the western wear portion. The employees will help you find guns/parts as needed. Their gun parts inventory is a bit disorganized.

Gunnies has been extremely helpful in our search for concealed, home defense, and sporting weapons. Each time we go to Gunnies, we speak to someone who is helpful, and takes the time to thoroughly answer each and every one of our questions and concerns. They give us all of our options and give us all the information we need to make an informed decision that is right for US. They have never tried to sell us on one type/brand of gun or another. We have had several interactions with Kent who has been extremely helpful. I would recommend Gunnies to any gun enthusiast OR anyone just starting to look into buying a gun.

I have always had good experiences when going in to Gunnies. They have a great selection of firearms, ammo, and accessories at good prices. They also carry a nice inventory/selection of suppressors. If Im looking for something gun related, I always stop by Gunnies first. Gun counter guys are great--nice guys who are very helpful.

The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. They have a great selection of firearms. Almost always beat out local competition for pricing on firearms. The place to go if you are looking for AR parts. If you are looking for something and they dont have it they can usually get it pretty quickly. None of the machismo garbage that you often find at other local shops.I have and will continue to send friends and family here.

I called Gunnies to check if a pistol on their website was actually available, considering it is no longer being produced and I could not get it through either of my distributors. I do not remember the mans name who I talked, but he was professional and stated that if it was on ther website then their distributor had at least one in stock. He told me that the distributor would send them the pistol and Gunnies would ship it to my local FFL, who is me. I went ahead with the online purchase fully expecting to be notified in a week that the pistol was in fact not available and the transaction canceled. To my suprise, the very next morning I recieved an email telling me not only had their distributor sent them the pistol but it was already on its way to me. Two days later I had the pistol in my hand. From Utah to Illinois for a fair price is pretty good without a worldwide pandemic. But even with all of the craziness going on currently there didnt seem to be any jaked up prices. Thank you Gunnies.

Like what many people have stated, they have an awesome selection of ammo, guns, and supplies, but it’s really hard to get an employee’s attention when it gets busy and sometimes when it’s not even that busy. So great store as far as selection goes, but customer service falls a little flat.

Cant speak for the Western wear side of the store (my wife can ha), but the gun section is awesome! Helpful guys, too much cool stuff, good prices, and a good selection of ammo! Chris W, Brian, and Chris O have have all been super helpful.
