Always worth a stop at Sun River to browse for plants. I never leave empty handed. They have a decent selection of common to rare plants from 1” to very large. Sometimes you’ll find an amazing deal- like my 8” overflowing Njoy for $15

Awesome place. They have just about everything you need for planting indoors or outdoors. It’s not a landscaping place, it definitely a garden place. You know that you’re getting quality plants when you buy from these guys. They have a great greenhouse with a very wide variety of plants, trees, and roses.

I love this place, but customer service can be improved. The people in the garden watering the plants are super nice. However, some of them know nothing about trees or plants. The cashiers...could do better. Some of them are quite courteous, some others could receive some training on how to properly treat EVERY customer. Not only the young people their age, but everyone. Selection is good. Love the good number of heirloom varieties available. Pricey, yes, but you can find things here that you dont see in other stores.

I love this space! I’m a little slightly embarrassed at the number of times I’ve frequented it the last few months. Their plant selection and quality, the custom design team (I swear it’s not as an expensive term as it sounds - hah!), and amazing pots makes the garden center magical. Not to mention anything about the creative team at the retail space with the happiest details throughout. It’s been my happy retreat during this year of chaos. Plants ground you. Go visit them! Thank you hannah for designing my “Christmas pot” today. I gave her free reign to spruce up an older piece I had and she exceeded expectations.

My new favorite place!! If you love gardening, on any level, you will absolutely LOVE this place! I was like a kid in a candy store!:) The way everything is set up is so pleasing to the eye and makes it such a wonderful, relaxing shopping experience.

Absolutely beautiful nursery with a large offering of horticultural varieties of nearly everything you can imagine. Very clean and charming. Three stars because the customer service could use quiet a bit of work—there is a very uppity vibe when you interact with the employees here, and the staff lacks helpfulness in general. I was in line, and completely ignored while they helped a customer who arrived well after I did. In addition to this, I also noticed that the cashiers (who were also checking out a mom who was there with her tiny baby) suggested that she make several trips to her vehicle instead of offering to help her out with her items.

Bought a plant from here (as a new plant owner) and when some of the leaves turned yellow (half a year later) I went to see what was wrong and see if I could get any expertise from the people who sold me the plant. She told me nothing was wrong leaves get old and that I had new growth coming in, she didn’t check the roots of my plant or anything just looked at it topically. Fast forward three weeks later My plant is still dying so I google it and the first tip I read was to check the roots. I discover my plant has been suffering from root rot but now none of the roots can remain. I propagate to see if the nodes I have on my plant can still grow new roots but the root rot had been coming back even though I tried multiple treatments to get rid of it. Before the root rot reaches the nodes I go BACK to this place and a new girl is helping me. I describe my situation where she doesn’t seem empathetic at all and is rushing me so she can get off her shift. She has no information on propagation or plants and is giving my mom and I the cold shoulder, she didn’t even offer to cut off the new rotting roots. I am really sad my plant died when I knew (at the time I could’ve saved it) that something was wrong but I believed the girls who worked here because I am new to this afterall. Now I have lost the first plant I’ve ever owned and adored, with no actual help at all from these people.

This store always have the cutest trends in plants and home decor! I love finding new pots and plant friends here. The home decor is always really expensive, so I’ve really only ever bought a pillow before, but I buy most of my plants and pots here. I usually do a monthly visit either for plants or for inspiration.

Had never been in before but was blown away. Much more than a nursery have tons of home decor for the upcoming season and even more plants and trinkets than what you can see from the road. Bring the kids in the will get lost one all the wonderful and beautiful people and plants. Amazing

Good prices, very nice plants, big selection.Plants, decor, water features etc are all very fairly priced.The plant selection was expansive and beautiful. They have a whole greenhouse just for roses there. Pretty much any tree, houseplant, or garden/yard plant (including fruit like raspberries) you can think of. Plus numerous decorations like birdhouses, wind chimes, bird baths, lawn gnomes, etc. There are also plenty of interior decorations inside the building.There are supplements like caging for keeping saplings and plants upright, different types of soil and mulch, gardening tools, and more. One stop shop for pretty much anything plant related.

We love this nursery. The employees are helpful and very knowledgeable. One of their employees helped us with two large flower pots that are beautiful and eye catching. Never had an unpleasant experience and we go frequently..

This store is the best of the best!! Truly—they’ve got the best inventory and their home decor/ accessory section always looks top notch. I am constantly impressed with them. I am also happy with the employees! One particular manager is my favorite!! She is always so kind and considerate.

This is overall a really nice nursery. Its on the smaller side but everything is organized and healthy looking. The staff is friendly and helpful too. I knocked a star because I feel their prices are a bit too inflated. Ill go back but only for the hard to find plants that others dont carry.

(They actually did end up being endless summers when they bloomed! ) That experience was nice but unusual unfortunately, so 3 stars.

I wanted a particular fountain that Sun River Gardens is a reseller of. They were helpful in identifying the options available and special ordered the fountain for me. I searched everywhere for this fountain and no one came close to offering me the price and deal that Sun River offered. The closest difference was $400 more elsewhere. When it arrived, they loaded the components for me and gave me some good advice for maintaining the fountain. Ill be back!

Only nursery that I’ve come across in the valley that has a 5 year guarantee on their trees. And they have organic soil amendments (so hard to find). Prices seemed comparable to other local nurseries. Lots of trees in stock compared to other nurseries at the time. Really impressed.

This is the best greenhouse and garden center in Utah county. They have an amazing selection, superb service, the cutest arrangement bar and the most adorable house goods to boot! If I could choose one place to shop for home and garden anywhere, it would be this place!!!Every time I walk into the store it AMAZES me! Who has that much talent?! The store is always so fresh and up to date!! You walk in and just feel happy- it’s my happy place, as with 100’s of others I’m sure.The greenhouse is absolutely beautiful!! With so many beautifully potted arrangements.The gardens are beyond beautiful. Sometimes you just want to be there for the atmosphere. Love this place, it’s addicting. This place is the worst nursery I’ve ever been to. Everything costs twice as much as it does at Cook’s. They are light on plants, heavy on ultra-tacky decor and the employees are not only dismissive, but rude.

This is such a beautiful place to be!! I am realizing how much of a difference customer service makes you feel about a store!However, I was looking for a job a while back working with plants and thought this was the place to be! I went back a second time and I asked one of the workers there a simple question and she was shockingly judgmental. I felt bad like I was asking a dumb question or something, anyway I was to be interviewed that week for a job, but was really turned off and I was no longer interested.I had a good experience recently there with friendly people - but oh nice workers make such a difference!

This is the most wonderful garden center. They always carry beautiful plants for both indoors and outdoors. The best part, though, is the very European or British (my experience) gift shop. Their Christmas selection is incredible, including ornaments, and the Bloem Market of artisans is a delight.

This greenhouse is stunningly beautiful. The plants outside during the summer are gorgeous and arranged in a way that makes you want to take them home. They also have all sorts of cool stuff inside for your home. We also came to a wedding reception here once and it was such a cozy feeling.

This place is fun to walk around in and just see all the cool plants. I usually come in with my mom who loves house plants and enjoys seeing all of the cool little flowers and leaves.

Extremely rude workers, I called in about the availability of a plant which they told me they had. Went to the store 10 minutes later and the girls said they never had the plants and seemed extremely angered that I would dare talk to her. I would go to Walmart for plants before here.

Every time we go theres a lot of new and beautiful things to see. The plants and gardens are always amazing, and the store is full of unique and interesting decor for your home both indoors and out. You can expect pricing on the high end, but friendly & welcoming workers that will go out of their way to help however they can. Sun Rivers is a must see if you love gardening, finding unusual gifts, and home decor!

I love Sun River Gardens.The quality is high, and in exchange, the price is higher as well. The plants Ive seen here have all been in great condition. I particularly love the indoor greenhouse area.The shop has many additional products like soaps, pots, soil, and other nice little items.Cash register does move a little slow sometimes especially if there is only one open, but Im usually not in a hurry when I come here so it hasnt been an issue.

This place is ADORABLE!!! They have a huge selection of very lovely things. Everything looks so green and luscious and healthy! It makes me want to redo my whole yard. The staff were very helpful and kind. Im a novice planter and they helped me know what I needed to buy and how to use it all.

Although their plants and pots are beautiful, they tend to die quickly no matter how well you care for them. Everything is a bit pricey, but its a treat to just walk around the nursery. Sun River Gardens is not your run-of-the-mill nursery. They are the only one I know of that supplies the range of exotic plant life and personal comfort space furnishings. The only things missing are lighting and music, if that is what they are aiming for. The plants are top quality and tenderly cared for. Great advice and paid classes are available. Perfect for green gifts.

Such a great variety and very healthy plants. I could look at their plants for days. I purchase most of my plants from them for my garden and they usually always do so well. I enjoy their home section as well, always fun to see what cute plates and and kitchen items they have. Their unicorn salt is my favorite!

It was so amazing. I went there with my daughter to get a pot and a plant for her room, dad and daughter day. All the choices of plants, pots, flowers, and such wonderfully cheerful employees, they really know how to care for plants. Our specialists put together our choice of plant and pot. She also gave us the proper instructions for the care of not just our new plant but also various types of indoor house plants we had at home.

I love the atmosphere here. The employees are always super knowledgeable and helpful. They also have an awesome selection! The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I bought a bunch of herbs from them and they’re doing great! Except the mint I bought was infested with aphids. I ended up just having the get rid of it so they wouldn’t get to any of my other plants. Partially my bad for not checking it closely before purchasing it.

The staff is super helpfull. I called and didnt know the name of the plant I wanted so they sent me pictures until it was the correct one so I could order it over the phone. They are so incerdible and im blown away with their customer support. The plants seem super healthy and their shop is always super cute. Some things can be a little pricey but they are usually so worth it. I absolutely love this place and will continue to go back. (Definitely a dangerous place for my wallet)

Called a few local nurseries looking for peach trees, and they were out - Sun River had a nice selection and all looked very healthy and came with 1 year free replacement warranty. I came to Sun River because I love plants. As I was looking around, I simply asked an employee a question about the care of a plant. She was having another conversation with a coworker and looked at me like I was a major bother. She answered my question with an attitude. I later looked up the actual care of the plant and every website I found was the opposite of the information she told me. I was really annoyed but still decided to buy this great (but very overpriced) plant. I waited at the checkout desk for a while. Meanwhile, a group of three employees were sitting in a group gossiping about something. THEN they finally saw me waiting and said “hold on a second” and continued to tell her story. I have never written a review but I was so appalled by the service I received.

I went here for the first time and it was AMAZING! So much cute stuff! I got the prettiest trees, plants and pots. When my husband tried to get the trees in his truck, they wouldn’t fit and they offered to deliver them to our house the SAME DAY! I was so impressed that they went above and beyond to offer amazing customer service! I will definitely be shopping here again!

Beautiful store and greenhouses. They have a huge supply of every plant you can think of at decent prices. The employees are very helpful. I paid extra to have them drill drain holes in my pots and pot my plants for me. That part was a little expensive, but the convenience was worth it.

I love the plants from Sun River Gardens however, the customer service is exceptionally awful. Obviously something has to change. Every time I go In all the workers can do is give judgmental stares and make you feel like you aren’t supposed to be there. None of them have basic plant knowledge and are no help when you ask about how to take care of a certain plant. Don’t hire people who just stare judgmentally and only care about what their wearing or doing that day. I much rather go to McCords in Provo where the same plants aren’t overpriced and they ACTUALLY have basic knowledge of how to care for plants. I have never experienced such bad customer service. It’s truly annoying and disappointing. I’m only giving it one star to show and express how bad the customer service is.

I went in to buy some succulents for a tiny little potting project and I was impressed with the store. Hannah kicks @$$! She helped me find the right stuff and she hooked it up with a little handful of moss because I didn’t want to buy a pillow case size full of moss. I will be back because of her help and it was just a super nice store. Good job 👏

I’ve had fairly good experiences here with houseplants. I bought a spider plant once that turned brown 3 days later but I thought that was just an anomaly. However, yesterday I bought some bulb hyacinth and daffodils. This morning when I woke up, a bunch of the daffodils had already wilted because the bulb was already expiring. They had plenty of water, and were kept inside in our house, not outside in the cold or in the car. I checked the website and it said you could only return in 24 hours so I rushed home and then here on my lunch break to make sure I got to return the wilted plants. The experience with the workers was fine, it was nothing special. I asked for the money back onto my card which she said she did but it still isn’t back onto my card. I asked to put the card into the machine so it automatically went back on, because she said sometimes there’s issues with it automatically going back onto debit cards. But she said no and that it would be on my card. It’s not. Like I said, my houseplants have been mostly fine but these flowers were dying as soon as I got them home which was really disappointing, and so has my experience been with the return.

Very disappointed. Went in there and none of their employees were wearing masks. When I asked why, I was berated simply for asking. I am more mad at the fact that they said it wasnt their priority to keep customers safe (actual quote), than the actual wearing of a mask. Really? Flat out say you dont care about the people keeping you in business? I was shocked.

I have loved this store for years, but finding it hard to find anything reasonably priced. A great selection of house plants, garden plants, trees and one of a kind housewares. Just wish it was somewhat affordable for the average shopper.

Theyve got a pretty good selection of trees and shrubs. Only real complaint is that theyre pricey.

I have attended several beautiful wedding receptions here, and today was the first time I came to actually buy a plant. The staff was kind and helped us find a great plant for a pot we made. Would definitely recommend as a great location for events as well as a great buying experience.

I love coming to Sun River! The employees that pick out items at trade shows do such a good job! The displays are beautiful and each season there is so much variety. I have around 30 pots and vessels from Sun River for home plants and tablescapes/ events. My only gripes are the steep prices and Ive had all my house plants from here die. (that might say more about me as a plant owner though ;)

I came here for the first time today. I told a lady there that in the past I have not been good with plants and asked her if there was one that was easy to grow. She recommended succulents to me. They had so many nice ones to chose from! After I picked the one I liked, I asked another lady what I needed to keep it alive. I fully expected her to try and sell me lots of stuff, because that is what all retail places do. But she didnt. It was so nice to not be pressured to spend lots of money on stuff!! She was so nice and helpful and told me what I needed to do to keep my plant alive. If I can manage to keep my beautiful plant alive for a bit, I will for sure be going back for more. I feel like this is a place as a new gardener I can come and get my questions answered.

They have a large variety and those hard to find things. They also have shrubs and trees that are more mature to get a jump.

It’s such a beautiful place!! It’s perfect for date night or to destress! Every employee I’ve met there was very knowledgeable and nice! The store is beautiful from the layout to the amazing smell, and it has a great selection, I highly recommend it!!:)

Beautiful store. More of a boutique than a Garden Center. But the store is wonderful. Lots of unique things. A little pricey. If I had something specific I needed I would shop their again. But if I was purchasing lots of stuff, I would probably shop some place more cost effective.

My wife and I have spent a small fortune here on an assortment of trees, shrubs and ground cover. We keep coming back because they keep their plants in great condition and the staff is at that perfect level of friendliness without being overbearing. They have great sales from time to time and if you take advantage of those sales, you can walk away with a lot of plants for a reasonable price. Oh, and they deliver to the local area for only $25. That is INCREDIBLE.
