I enjoy shopping here. That may sound funny from an adult but I love shopping for toys and seeing what they have available. Unfortunately this store is closing. They also have construction going on so sometimes its a little hard to access. They have good prices right now however since they are closing.
I have been going to this Toys R Us for years. Ive brought my children here to play with the Train table when they were little toddlers. I brought them here to try out bicycles when they were old enough to try out bicycles. We used to browse the books. We have many happy memories at the store. The customer service was always great. Sadly the store is now closed and theyre making something else there instead.
So we found the toys we needed, and that was good (for an affordable price). However, the cleanliness was wanting; the water fountain for instance looked like it hadnt been cleaned in a while, and with the hard water stains (among other things)...well, it kept me from drinking out of it. Keeping on top of the cleanliness would certainly help. Also, I wish there had been more associates available to help us; took me 10 minutes to track someone down for assistance.
Its finally gone. Its going to be sad driving passed this empty building now, knowing that its been there for as long as I can remember. This particular location has always been great.RIP.
I found a killer deal online for a car seat (I had no idea toys r us sold car seats!) and this was the location that still had any in stock, so I trekked down from Salt Lake County.I haven’t been to a toys r us in years. Walking in felt like visiting a cemetery from toys. It was a bit sad really. Many of the toys looked old, the flooring was in disrepair, the checkout counter looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time and the cash register had a thick layer of dust. Visiting this store made me think that Toys r us is about to become the next blockbuster! But hey, I got a great deal in a sweet car seat so that made the trip worth it!
I love this place and the people who work here. They are so fun and the events that to the store does is a lot of fun for my girls. Our go to place if we want something. They should have a food stand inside.
Not at all impressed with the customer service. I came to pick up an order at 11pm. There were 3 employees to every customer. I had to ask 4 different people for help and it took 25 minutes for them to bring my order to the front. No friendliness at all. Didn’t really like toys r us before. Now I remember why.
I showed up right at closing time as they were closing the door. I asked the guy at the door if I could run back and look at something real quick and he was overly rude as he said. Were closed. Its my dinner time, Im not letting you in. Now that theyre going out of business I guess customer service doesnt mean anything. For any of you that work at this store, he was middle aged, balding, wore glasses, and should be coached on customer service. Even if he didnt want to let me in, there was a professional way to do it, and it wasnt the way he did it.
We love Toys R Us. Best selection of toys compared to any other store. Best place to bring your child to if you want to really get an idea of what interests him. They have a generous price match policy, but on-site prices are competitive anyway. They usually have great discounts and promotions, we picked up a Skylanders set once being clearanced for an amazing cheap price. Cant figure out how they keep the store so clean and organized with so many kids set on tearing the place apart.
We couldnt find the game we were looking for, but the employee told us about some nearby stores that might have it. He was so helpful! The store was clean and organized.
The staff are very helpful. They will go out of their way to help you find what youre looking for. I was there during Black Friday and it was crazy obviously, but the staff were very helpful in helping me find the items I was looking for.
Literally the most horrible managed store I’ve ever been in. I think the checkers are literally trained to work in slow motion. It’s like a horror scene out of a movie. Do they require their employees to know how to count money? Might help! Just because it’s a toy store doesn’t mean you should hire children!
Going out of business it says. Sales up to 30% off.... literally nothing above 10% off... obviously its dying and everyone is waiting like Vultures for it to finally roll over and die and actually have sales so until as a business you truly have lost your will to live dont try to get people to come in and pay above Amazon prices for stuff we can have delivered right to our door.
- They price match- Order items with free shipping (most times) if the item isnt in stock in the store- Layaway was available for items that were in the store- Helpful Managers that were friendly- Great selection of toys for all agesThis is a great place to go shopping. Keep in mind it is a KID store, sometimes things get out of place as there are tiny children playing with items as they shop around, but its usually fairly clean still.
Phenomenal staff. Very helpful. I appreciate everyone that works there. Greatest staff on planet.
I miss the store and all the toys. Im happy to hear that its coming back.
Sad to see this place closing, sadly it has seen better days
Its a real bummer that Toy r us went out of business because it was nostalgic. However, thats all it really was.... I went here to give it a final fairwell and it was, for a lack of a better word, sad. Out of respect for the hundreds and thousands of employees that lost their jobs I wont express my entire opinion, because really whats the point?
I love that Toys R Us is a good place to buy Legos other stores dont sell as much Legos as Toys R Us.
I always find something that brings a smile to my little silly bears adorable face!
This is a great place, even none the price is high my child is happier every time I get her toy from there.
Every single employee that I saw asked if I needed help finding something! Im so impressed with the customer service at this location!
Sad its closing, but have been visiting and getting amazing deals for weeks now.
Ok if youre closing and say 50 to 70 percent off dont jack up the reg price just to put it back with the original price with tge 50-70% off price. Idiots even when going out of business you still try and squeeze out everyones wallet. Oh well thats why your business FAILED!
Since the store is closing theyre really picked over. Prices are higher than the same toys at other stores. It looks like its been at least a decade since the building was last updated. Sadly, Im jour surprised theyre going out of business.
Closing the store. Surprised to see there were things I wanted to purchase at 70% off!
Sad, dirty, depressing. I felt my life being sucked out of me the longer I was there.
We came in looking for a particular card set we mutually enjoy playing and mentioned Walmart might be cheaper.. an associate approached and said theyd price match of we could show the ad.. so we did a little shopping.. Made our selections which was two decks of cards.. upon showing the cheaper price through Walmart app I was told it wasnt good enough and that I had to show the ad price on Walmart dot com even tho the app was showing the Walmart dot com price.. long story short I felt like I was trying to rip them off I wasnt treated terribly but given the time and validating I had to do as a customer Ill likely stick with Walmart.. less trouble..
My review comes both as a customer and an employee of three years. On the company to shop with: While the selection is good, the prices are not. Even when it goes on sale for BOGO 40% off, it is still off of items marked up 20%. So congrats, its ON SALE for the same price as everywhere else. They also have some stupid return policies, such as if we sell it, well return it. Doesnt matter if new in box or you ran it over. Doesnt even matter if you bought that $50 toy at Walmart for $10, you get your money back! The managements motto: Kiss their ass and lick inside. Now as far as working here...dont. The manager is a witch that does not trust anyone to do anything. She micromanages everything from her assistant manager down to a cashier. It is also not uncommon for her to ask management to come in and work without compensation. The schedules are pathetic; unless full time, in the off season you can expect around...8 hours a week. They are also remarkably inconsistent. It is a roll of the dice every week for what days you work. They also dont care about the customers...unless they want a rewards card and an Instant Credit. Other than that its how can I help you get out of my store? This is one of those companies best kept at a distance and only visited when you really want to spoil the grandkids. Dont work here unless you want to watch your life slide right out of your hands.
Found some legos online that the store had in stock. I Bought the legos online and went to the store for the pick up. I was first in line and waited at customer service for help. It took 10 minutes to get help and the girl behind the counter said she could not help me. Instead of getting someone else, she went to the next costumer who bought a toy for her daughter just 10 minutes before and she wanted to return it with the receipt in hand (she found out she bought the wrong thing). The customer service lady said that it was non refundable because the lady did not have ID on her. The worker pointed to the rules, but on it, I pointed to the worker that with a receipt it could be returned without ID. She still refused so I asked for a manager who worked everyrhing out for me and this other costumer. Never going back.
Too bad they are closing down. Internet shopping strikes again. Another one bites the dust!
FYI... both stores closed..went out of business. But they had a great closeout deals.
Toys r neatDont buy video games frome here though
I just want to say that I was going to buy a lot of toys for my kids but the customer service was soooooo horrible and unprofessional it was DISGUSTING!!!. They are very rude and racist. The cashier was giving me attitude at the customer service front so then I went to the other cashier who was even worse!!! I was so discussed with there attitude I told them how unprofessional they were and I took my business elsewhere. I will NOT be going back there again!
Got a gift on layaway, had to be ordered from California. When I paid it off they told me it should be there in a couple of days! Finally it got there and I went to pick up. The lady was VERY rude! Told me my order was cancelled! Didnt explain why! She then apologized and told me to park my car up front to be loaded. So I did, after 40 minutes!! I went in to complain ! Then found out NOBODY was getting my order
Pretty good place for toys. Typically more expensive then the big box store but definitely better you selection
They didnt have want I needed in stock, I drove 45 mins to get it because it was on sale. I told them the circumstances and they gave me the same price and shipped it direct to my house for free, excellent customer service.
Purchased kids tablet with warrantee for Xmas, Opened xmas morning found the screen cracked, because we bought it 30 days before xmas they would not warrantee it. returns had 1 persons and the line was long, I will never step a foot into that store again or any other toys r us!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree with Joseph Wright that the store looks a little old and isnt very clean, but the toys seem fine. Had a problem with a ripped bicycle seat and they replaced it no problem.Checking out with Lego sets they would either price match or give us the buy one get one 50% off deal. I can understand except for the problem of almost all Lego sets being marked up waaay higher than MSRP. Essentially the BOGO 50% off deal brought most sets (not all!) back to MSRP.Now I will have to look at their other toys to see if they have similar markups - as much as 35% above MSRP.
Very friendly and helpful associates. Has price matches.
Its a fun store, sad to see it close
Over priced toys even with their going out of business sale. Its no wonder theyre closing, theyre too expensive, go on amazon and find the same thing at least $10 cheaper .
We like here go there for legos
SaD to see this place close. But felt it was a tad over priced for the same thing I could find online
This place is going out of business so get em while theyre hot!
My fav place to find book, toys, and puzzles that I would normally have to order. So sad they are closing.
Extended holiday hours. But hard to find things that were advertised
Store is okay, but the bathrooms were awful. No toilet paper, the floors were disgusting.
It is sad this store is closing. I really liked it.
Love this school they really care about US
I can never find an employee when I go here, dont know if they just understaff of employees are playing hide and seek with me....
I always hate Toys R Us no matter what location it is. They are way too expensive and you always wait in line forever.
Not how I remembered Toy R Us as a kid. Still sad to see so many locations closing :(.
Life this store, I am so sad that it is going out of business.
Prices are not good. Its not a wonder they are going out of business. Even their clearance prices are expensive
Lots of great power rangers stuff!
It has really gone downhill since I was a kid. Everything is messy and dirty inside.
Liquidation sale, so about as chaotic and low stock as you would expect, but not bad
Going out of business. Wont be around much longer. We was told it was all locations!
Gonna miss you guys!
I love the store and costumer service
Terrible customer service. The employees are oblivious to how to treat a customer.
Sad to see them close. The prices werent the best, but, they made up for it in selection and sheer volume of toys.
Awful experience this store treats there customers horribly. I will never shop there again.
Kids love going but sad to see it going out of business.
I shop here early before Christmas. this place has a large selection for toys you cannot find in other places.
They are closing soon so there wasnt much help with finding stuff.
Going out of business sale was on, decent prices for what was left in stock.
Sadly it will no longer be my favorite toy store as it is going out of business
I will miss this place everything is about 60% off now.
Love this store so sad they are closing down.
Called from salt lake to see if they had a Minnie car said they had a few got there only had Mickey long drive
They didnt have any Nintendo switch in stock, rudely told me to go elsewhere.
The place was getting rather sparse as its going out of business.
Going out of business now is your chance to load up for cheap.
Its closing down so there is nothing there.
My favorite toy store
Its too bad Toys R Us is on its way out. I used to have really fond memories about Toys R Us but since being there recently you can just tell that it didnt age well. Its just kinda run down and seems really old. Stepping into the store kinda feels like stepping into the 1990s.
Great selection, high prices
Fair amount of stuff left for about 40% off as of today
With their ridiculous prices they cant go out of business fast enough.
Should go out of business more often.
It is half empty now and feels depressing.
Great sale but very messy and inpatient employees
Even on crazy sale its still over priced
Fun, but expensive. Wish they werent closing
Sad to see the store close ...
