I went in a few different times and the different guys were really helpful. I also got used boots I thought felt right but they turned out to be too big and they let me return them within 7 days no problem! I really appreciated their kindness and customer service. I was going to put 5 stars but I saw in a recent review that someone trying to sell their stuff felt ignored. That’s not my customer service style; I think it would be great if someone apologized or maybe offered a little discount to make it up to them.I did have to ask for help a few times but I didn’t mind it because I like having time to think without constant badgering. Other people like a lot of attention and checking on so I guess they just need to make sure peeps aren’t feeling ignored.I really liked the input when I asked how many seasons they thought something used would last.I haven’t priced around but the wax prices seem fair to me. Only ever been here for hockey equipment, but there is a great selection and variety for gear, sticks and accessories. The customer service is great and got my skates sharpened here a couple times with good results. Love the reward system and have enjoyed lots of points.

Been here many times spent hundreds of dollars. Came in to sell my Star Callaway Epic 9 iron great condition and they wouldn’t even look at it. Sometimes you make exceptions for the customer and help out when they are good customers. One star for bad policies. Might not ever be back to buy from them again. I also live 2 hours away this is the closest store to where we live. Thanks!

Gear sold here is fine! Thats no problem and actually has some good stuff. However, customer service wasnt very courteous. Went in to sell some gear and the two guys manning the desk were more interested in talking to a friend visiting the store front about skiing rather than actually looking at my ski materials. After a few minutes I could see they were done with my gear but they continued to just talk with a friend rather than actually come talk to me. Finally one did and just shortly said they could not buy my gear. Thats fine, but I wish they wouldve actually cared about a potential customer over chatting with friends. Again, the gear sold here is totally good though.

Every once in a while you’ll find a great deal on some lightly used sports equipment. I came in and got some weights for a very good price. Some things are over priced.

Love the rates on their gear. They gave me a great price on my trade ins too. Save time and headache not dealing with people on KSL who think their used stuff is plated with gold! Friendly and helpful staff who didnt push stuff on me. Well be back for more in the future.

Great shop, a real example of customer service and helpfulness. The employees really do have the customer as their priority. Every location I’ve shopped has been this way, their management has perfected their hiring process and always gets great employees

I went here to get a new disc golf disc and was very pleased. The gentleman working knew a lot about discs and we had a pleasant conversation on brands and quality of discs. They have a pretty good selection of discs as well. Store was very clean and not cluttered. Good experience was had here.

I was treated terribly at this store. My husband took in two snowboards, they gave him $60 for both. He used the money towards a new snowboard for me but happened to purchase the wrong size. Returning it, unused, except for a stomp pad, THAT THEY APPLIED, was a nightmare. The clerk kept telling me, Were going to lose money on this board now! I cant give you the money for the stomp pad. How about just 1/2? I calmly explained that I simply wanted to exchange the board for the correct size and that they wouldnt lose money on the stomp pad (a whopping $5!). After throwing a fit, the clerk gave me my new board, handed me a stomp pad and refused to install the hardware. I took the board and hardware and then took a peak at what they were selling our old boards for...$180!! They were going to make $120 on our boards and yet they still felt like treating me like garbage over $5.00. Thats classy, folks.Take your business/old gear elsewhere, unless you want to be treated like dirt.

Awesome service way good deals

These guys let me rent a set of skis and boots for $25. And when I asked to buy them, they gave me 30 percent off the skis and 50 percent off the boots which were brand new in box. Plus, they deducted the rental price from the purchase price of the whole set. I got the skis for $150 with a binding adjustment and the Nordica boots were $40. Amazing deal and great customer service. Ill definitely be visiting them again.

Had a great experience renting ski equipment for 2 adults and 4 kids. Equipment was all in great condition and the employees were courteous and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back again.

Very helpful and i made 5 buck

Bought a pickleball paddle here. The handle broke after 3 or 4 uses, and they wouldnt offer an exchange or return, only a discount on a similar paddle (why buy another one if the first one didnt hold up?). Not a good way to do business.

Lots and lots of used sports material here - and when I noted that some $10 soccer cleats were pretty beat up, the store manager gave them to me for $3. Definitely a place Ill go back to.

Its an ok place...not a great one. I was mostly ignored while in the store and I had a difficult time even finding an employee. I couldnt find what I needed, but that is the downside of second hand stores.

As far as calling into the store, the employee didnt not seem very happy to answer the phone. It just an unpleasant call. I love the store but work on answering your phone and helping the customer.

Recently went to Play It Again Sports in Orem, Ut. I was looking for a pair of womens ice skates. The pair I was shown were $200. I just wanted a reasonable priced pair to use on our county pond - not compete in the Olympics. The clerk said he had some others but they were on a shelf above a door, then he got a phone call and ignored me, when the phone call ended a couple with two small childdren had come in, he then walked over to them and COMPLETELY ignored me. I walked out!! Never to return!. I thought this place was supposed to be sellling reasonably priced used items - NOT full on retail. WHAT A JOKE!!!!

Came here in 2013 (I guess ownership has changed since that time) and the staff was very friendly and frank about the quality of their used goods and equipment. I appreciated the variety.

New management seems to be willing to make the past right. I respect this, and will be stopping in soon.

I called and talked to a girl on the phone about wetsuits. She told me what they had so I told her I would come in. I get in the store and a guy tells me they don’t have anything. They won’t put their water stuff out till next week. Why would you have me drive all the way here??? I should have just bought it online.

This is not about the store its self, but a skate sharpen. Worst sharpen ever! The peaks machine was down and was our championship game and knew I should have drove to SLC...
