Found my way to this little cute gem as I purchased a pair of a fantastic (thrifted) genuine pair of leather cowboy boots and I knew it needed a bit of TLC so I took it to this place. These cowboy boots were super authentic, one of a kind, and with a bit of polishing, I knew these would be glamorous! This pair also had a nail stuck into the footbed so that had to be cut/grinded down. In addition, it needed a bit of stretching of the leather (from the footbed as it fit a tad narrow), and the leather needed a good polishing. It took about four days for them to get these things done (as they have a large clientele) but believe me it was worth the wait!Ive had the pleasure of meeting Brenda, one of the owners and she said theyve been around for twenty-plus years, and still thriving (you can tell why because of the quality of work they do).I got the boots back as if they were brand new, and was so happy with the end results! Their prices are reasonable! I have found my local cobbler and Im sticking with them for all my future shoe needs!
Amazing customer service! I came in looking for help on some stitching for a cover for the spare tire for my car. I had been told by someone that shoe repair shops would have the right machine. They were able to help and even expedited my order because I was going out of town. It was a large thing that took up a fair amount of space in their small shop but they were so nice about it. I would definitely come here again when I need shoe repair.
Took in some sandals whose elastic had fallen apart very quickly. They replaced them with better quality elastics for a great price. Great customer service, well be returning.
We have been here many times, but I recently took in a new pair of work boots in to see if they could stretch them out. They said they would try. When I came back, one was great, but the other was still way too tight. They worked on it 2 more times, at no additional cost, and it now fits perfectly. Thank you for your good work and customer service,
These are the greatest people. Been here a long time. Reasonable prices and great knowledge.
Robert is legend! He began and has been running this place for decades and his work is truly a masterpiece each and every time. Just goes to show when you want something done right, save yourself the time and money and go to Villlage Shoe-maker.Just got my moc toe boot back I am incredibly pleased with the results! I chose not to replace it with the original sole because I wanted them a specific/different way and he actually did them exactly the way I wanted! Even put in a leather shank instead of a steel one for me, which vibes so well with the brand new rubbery vibram-lug.Thank you Robert and all of your team at VSM!
Great repair on my Birkenstocks.
Helpful, quality craftsmanship. It is important to me to be able to extend the life of my shoes instead of buying new ones. Thanks Village Shoemaker!
I had them repair my snow boot wheels, a letter jacket small ripped and a purse. They did a great job, very nice people and good service.
Not just for shoes! We were up in Provo taking my daughter to BYU when her the handle from her favorite book bag broke right before school started. She had a leather strap from a different bag that she barely used, so we took it in to see if it would work. They worked with her to make it a comfortable length and stitched it on. This has held up for two years of carrying heavy books! Awesome people and awesome service!
I had a pair of sandals that I purchased online. they were a little too wide around the ankle and so hard to wear. I took them into the Village Shoemaker and they did an excellent job fixing them to fit better. I would highly recommend.
Great place to get any repairs done! Had them restitch some boots and they got it done for me in 20 minutes so I didnt have to drive back to pick them up. Reasonably priced and friendly!
Wanted to support a small business like this and try to repair my shoes instead of buying a new pair. Wont do that again, they ended up ruining my shoe even more by tearing a hole in the leather and not telling me about it. When I went back to consult them about the issue she didnt have an excuse as to why they did it or any other solution for it. Very disappointed 😔
Great service!
I felt like I walked into a childhood store fromwhen I was a kid. The vibe is one of a true craftsman .My sons cowboy boots turned out good as new. When I asked about having new heels put on they told me $11.00! For both heels!! Where am I. A true craftsman with integrity! Thank you Village Shoemaker!
Incredibly kind service--I came to repair an abrasion on some leather shoes and they informed me it would only take a bit of glue, fixed it up, and sent me on my way. They have a great selection of shoe care products as well.
I would give this place more than 5 starts if I could. They are nice, knowledgeable and really went out of their way to make things great for us. It is the good old way businesses used to be. I highly recommend them!!
Exceptional quality and craftsmanship. They far exceeded my expectations. Fast service.
When I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, had to get different shoes, I had Planters, made a support for my feet felt so good now for 5 years, no pain, great job
My wifes clogging shoe needed fixed before competition. It only took a couple minutes for the entire repair and they didnt even charge me. Really appreciated the great customer service!
Village Shoemaker restored my favorite pair of chelsea boots! After the sole came undone, I took the pair in and they got it fixed promptly. Great prices and great folks! Wouldnt go anywhere else!
We were able to get one of our luggage bags repaired before we left on a trip. The lady working was very informative and helpful, Ill be back the next time I need a repair.
Excellent service and very timely. I love working with Darlene and Robert. They know what theyre doing and how to take care of their customers!
I was expecting to leave my bag with a broken zipper and pick it up later and the woman there had it fixed within a few minutes and didnt charge me! Great little shop.
They are slow. They always seem too busy to help me. The shoe repair man is very grumpy. They do an adequate job most of the time.
They have very high quality service. They fixed my dress shoes up perfectly, and they were scuffed up and falling apart to the point I thought I would need to get a brand-new pair (the heel even came off). I was very pleased with the good-as-new look they had when I picked them up.
They did a superb job on my daughters boots replacing the heels, and their price is very reasonable. Very happy overall
Awesome service, they fixed the slider on my suitcase within a very reasonable time
Terrible customer service, grumpy owners lousy job.
Great service! Lily was of great help and very positive environment!
Fixed my spendy pair of running shoes. Less than $10 to re-glue parts of the soles that were coming off. Well worth it!
Fantastic! This is the only shop I would trust any of my shoes with. I’ve had my Alden and Allen Edmonds shoes worked on here and I wouldn’t use anyone else
They are the perfect shoe repair shop‼️
You wont find more honest and knowledge people than Robert and Darlene at Village Shoemaker. Ive done business with them for years.
Very helpful and well done.
Excellent atention. I did not go precisely for shoes, I assisted with a sewing for a construction bag and they helped me without any inconvenience!
