I love that they have all types of fabrics for really good price. The special occasion fabric is what I was looking for and it was on sale for 30% off which made getting extra bits to alter my dress very affordable.

I came here looking for a cricut machine, they had the best prices across any other fabric store and Amazon. They also always have awesome sales and online coupons! I had a few questions regarding which model I should buy and one of the staff members was so patient and answered every single one of my questions thoughtfully. She also help me pick out the proper paper and tools to go alongside it. The store is always very well stocked and very clean. This is my go to fabric store!

Nice place plenty of merchandise. However didnt get the customer service by the male cashier who greeted all customers ahead of me then stopped when I arrived at the cash register as if my money was worth less than the customers ahead all customers should be treated and greeted the same regardless of race. I would give less than one star if its available.

While Tristen’s service, experience, and support made my visit worthwhile, I do have a request that this location provides more cashiers. There was only one register open and so the line was unnecessarily long; please open more registers! Don’t leave one cashier open for the entire store.

Staff is usually spread thin/overworked especially during sale days but they do their best to make us feel like family. There shouldnt be one person via a register on a sale day with 12 people in line so the blame rests on corporate not the workers on the floor. Loosen your purse strings corporate!

Ordered a few stencils and paint brushes for curbside pick up. Took a day to get my order ready, which is fine because they’re busy. But when I got the email for my order to be ready, I went to go get it. I called for my curb side pick up 3 times and got voicemail every time. Then when I went inside I had to wait in a long line to get my already paid for order. I understand this is a busy time but then turn your curbside order pickups off or have a designated person for curbside orders!!!

I love this place because of Joanns great prices, shear volume of items in this store. Any project you can think of you will most likely be able to find what you need at Joanns! Sign up for their text program to receive extra coupons! I thought up the box you see here. I still have a couple more things to add to my masterpiece. I was able to solve a real problem that I was having and thanks to Joann Fabrics .. My dream has become a reality!

Super great customer service

The store is highly organized but the customer service is lacking. I bought four Christmas gift bags that were on sale for 2.99 each (instead of 9.99) and were buy three and get the fourth free (on 11/28).I asked the cashier about it and she just looked at me. Blank stare like I do not give a f. We had a stare dare for a good minute before she won and I juts took the items at cost, but this is seriously one of the worse location (because of customer service) in the area.

UPDATE: Took 4 days to get a ready for pickup email. I was busy that day so the next day I got an email that they canceled my order. I called the store and they told me my order was ready days ago! The manager never got back to me and my money has still not been refunded.Since it took them so long I went to hobby lobby I got 10x more fabric for half the price I’d spend if bought here!Don’t even bother here. I’ve had 2 horrible experiences in 2 weeks. I worked here when I was in highschool and it was amazing and now don’t bother with this location! I couldn’t find anything because it was so disorganized and sale items weren’t on sale when I got to the cashier which I was fed up with her rudeness towards me already and this time I ordered online 9am thinking hey it will be ready in a few hours hahaha! It’s now 2pm and I called and they said oh well we can’t tell you anything about your order, Could take up to 8 hours... Wait a min, shouldn’t you inform people of this? You can’t look up orders? That’s not right? She also told me I couldn’t cancel my order and get refunded till I pick up the items... Seriously your better off going to hobby lobby or buying off amazon

Tristen is an amazing employee!. She went above and beyond to help me out with my return and was very patient with me throughout the entire process. She could have told me that she couldnt help me but instead she tried various methods to make sure I left happy. I couldnt help but laugh and feel embarrassed in the end as she apologized to me when really I had to do all of the apologizing for being so complicated. I appreciate the great service. JoAnn Fabrics is the best place for all your sewing needs! They offer paper crafting (paper galore!), a floral department, Wilson cake decorating supplies, yarn, and Cricut supplies also. They have online ordering with instore or curbside pick up. They are open for shopping also.

Always a fun place to look and shop. The Joann Fabrics closest to my home is smaller and doesnt have the choice or selection unless I go on line.

Loved this store, first time at this one. Its a large Joann has quite a large fabric selection. The stamping, card making section is small though, however they did carry somethings that the one in Lombard does not

I was able to find everything I needed, however; I was surprised by the some of the staff not really knowing their products. I did get some great deals. I had stopped at a competitors store before I got there to compare prices and was pleasantly surprised that I made the right decision to go to this store.

Stopped in this store to pickup foam for chair, lines for registers ran to the middle store, when at register cashier tells me I needed to go to fabric counter and get it priced and then stand in line again.i told her that their was no signs stating that. Asked if they would go for me. She said no. See i am handicap wear an aircast and walk with a crutch.So she maid me go back and wait in line again.This store sucks lead paint chips!

But people let me tell you those small projects n buying fabric/other items can become quite pricey.Get your phone out and Google yourself some JoAnn coupons. Youll need it.!!!! The cashiers also sometimes has coupons too. But you need to ask. Nicely 😁The one other thing that I can say about JoAnn store is that w/ a receipt in your hand Joann fabric will refund you if your fabric didnt work for you.

This store was able to supply what I needed. In these times with so many stores closing and with limited stocks it was refreshing to find not only what I needed but to find knowledgeable and delightful staff.

Went in the other day and filled my cart. Got to the register and whipped out my coupons. Oh we can’t take that one, oh no none of these will work they are only for full price items only. “But it’s a storewide sale, nothing is full price!” What good are these coupons? That sucks!!

Im in search of a beginners sewing class. So I called the Orland Park location to get a schedule, only to be told I have to purchase a machine from them in order to participate in a class. Of course I didnt see this caveat on the website. Ill check other locations, not so near me, but I am Disappointed.

Needed help finding an adhesive for foam. I was told what wall to go to but no further help even after I asked for a product suggestion. Luckily another shopper helped me to find a suitable product. They have a great selection but staffing is sparse.

Customer service is always fantastic. They answer questions, they show you that you are an important shopper. They are always friendly. I have visited other Joann stores in the area but this is by far the best one and on lo y one that I patronize with.

I have tried over and over again to not return to this store, but it is very hard as their selection is quite extensive. The only reason I will not be going back now is that the staff is repeatedly rude. Numerous times Ive asked help in locating something only to be told its back there in that aisle. Most stores will always walk you to the item. Sometimes they even have the audacity to say they are unsure of where it is and just stand there offering no help in locating or asking another sales member where an item could be.Yesterdays trip was by far the worst. After waiting in line for about 20 minutes as there is only two cashiers. (WHY THEY HAVE TWO CASHIERS EVERYDAY is beyond me. They always have a huge line.) I was told I couldnt use the store coupons as I had to download the app. I was fuming as right before me I saw her use the store flyer to scan in coupons for someone else. The line was extremely long so I wasnt about to download the app and make everyone else wait. I proceeded to tell the cashier to use my Michaels coupon; to which she proceeded to sigh like she was doing me a great big favor. When she put in the Michaels coupon it took the discount off the cheapest item. I then told her it should be on the highest non sale item. She started moaning and groaning and looking for how to fix HER MISTAKE. In the end she couldnt fix it and ended up scanning in the store coupons she had next to her in the first place.I am so disgusted at this customer service and this is a reason that I will go to Michaels from now on. Corporate really need to train their employees better as this is not the first time Ive experience a rude and incompetent staff member.

Love this place but its hard to leave without spending over 100 dollars easily. That being said they do have a good selection on things for all sorts of hobbies. Oh yeah and dont get me started on the fabric variety. They have lots of different materials and variations.

This place has absolutely everything! So many buttons and fabrics to choose from, and the best part is when I get to buy socks! The staff is also super nice and I would come here every day if I lived closer because that’s how much I enjoy coming here.

I mostly shop for stringed beads. I had to take advantage of the 70% off. $520+ for only $154. They have such a beautiful selection of beads. Better than their competitor.

Made an order on Monday. Called four times in a week was told order would be ready the next day. Those Forest there times calling the lady I talked to seemed like I was disturbing her time. Order was not ready. Call today which was the fourth time calling, was put on hold, he came back and said my order was ready and that he was looking at it. And to now I never received a email or call to inform me that my order is ready for pickup. Told them it had taken too long, and that I wand of ordering online to be shipped. And the shipping order has already shipped. So I told the guy to cancel my order because I already ordered it online to be shipped to me. I still have not received a email too tell me my order is ready. But I have received a email telling me that my order was cancelled. Very horrible customer service with everything that is going on in the world right now.

Lots of great fabric selections always have coupons and sales unfortunately people are always rude to the employees. Its super annoying. Dont allow people around you to act like this. If you see it call it out.

The manager on duty was so helpful! I needed to get 16 fake pumpkins and she helped me in the store and even out to my car.The ladies at the fabric cutting station, however, appear to hate their lives. Perhaps a smile every now and then might help?

I am a small shop owner keep that in mind. Tonight I went into our local Joann. We came up to the cutting table with 2 carts full of fleece. This should be normal to the clerks at the cutting counter but one said it was too much and she then proceeded to go on her break, in the MIDDLE of helping us. Then an older lady helped us and insisted on us buying the remnants to save HER time. Mind you only 1 other person was behind us and were getting helped. This is NOT a huge deal. It’s their job to cut fabric and I wouldn’t expect to be the only one wanting a lot cut. It doesn’t even take a abnormal amount of their time. Very disappointed not coming back for a while.

Let me tell you, these fantastic folks here are certainly cut from a different cloth than other fabric stores.

Ive taken my first sewing class here and it was phenomenal! Jocalyn, the instructor was very smart, and answered all of our questions very well. I left the class feeling confident that I could accomplish basic sewing.

Good place to get fabrics and notions. Has a good selection of jewelry supplies and crafts for kids.

Really nice store with low prices. You can find artificial flowers, lights, candles, lanterns, school supplies, stickers etc. They also carry fabrics with many different designs. You have to check this store out, it Has so much under one roof, you wont be disappointed.
