Pretty greats selection but some of the stuff we were looking for was sold out. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Customer service sucked. Was told I had to wait an hour for balloons to be blown up after standing and waiting for the associate to be free. I even explained that I didnt have time for that what i was looking for wasnt complicated. I spent time waiting for her to free, I was the last person in the store, I got frustrated and ended up going to the location in Mokena where the associates, Dave and Kelly, took care of me with no problem. It took Dave all of a few minutes to blew up the balloons I wanted, not sure why I couldnt get that at this location. Thank you Dave and Kelly at the Mokena location.

I know this is late, but to the person who had to fill my HUGE pink and gold balloon order back in April 2019 for my daughters first birthday....THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I know it was a big pain to fill 100 balloons and I tried to make it as easy as possible with a drawing and separating each bouquet into bags. Thank you so much, they turned out amazing and just what I wanted.

Omg!!!! I loved allll the staff.. They were super helpful and polite. I live closer to the party city in calumet city but Im willing to travel a little further for their selections, the staff, and the quality of there merchandise. Happy 40th birthday to my sister!

Needed balloons at last minute. Ordered on line. Balloons were ready the next morning as promised. I as in and out of the store in about 4 minutes. Thank you Party City.

Went to get some football shaped balloons and they delivered. Asked if I wanted floor or table height. Upsold me on a weight for the balloons. Very professional. Manager even jumped in to blow up my balloons so the employee could tend to customers at the register. I thought it was high quality service and even though the prices are a little high, it was expected since it was a party supply store. Good quality, balloons are still inflated like new and its been about a week.

They canceled my balloon order without notifying me. I showed up to the store at my selected time, and the manager notified me that they canceled my order. I had no idea!! I was headed to the birthday party!!! Beware! :( They couldn’t accommodate me in any way.

Horrible customer service. Staff that I encountered were unprofessional and not at all interested in assisting customers. Low stock and things that were on line and clearly stated they were available in store werent. I was even told they dont carry those items in any of their stores. So I pulled it up online and showed her and she just shrugged her shoulders, mumbled something and walked away. They have always been over priced. But because of the poor treatment I received and other customers in the store I will not spend a penny of my hard earned money there ever!!

My daughter bought balloons here & they said the would fill them when she brought them back. I went to get them filled for my granddaughter party & they said they didnt have time. It was five balloons. I asked for just one then. And the cashier blew me off.

Been in line for 20 minutes just to get a table cloth.Only 2 cashiers both doing boloons.

Preorder balloons days in advanced, arrived 20 minutes after scheduled pick up time “4pm” and the order was not ready. The store rep “Kate” had an attitude and told me I need to wait till 7 pm for my order because they are behind. I don’t think the order should be placed on hold since you chose not to have it ready at the scheduled pick up time. Now the baby shower is to wait, since they didn’t have the preordered order ready on time.The main issue I had was that the store rep was rude, which made me upset because all you have to do is be nice.

Phenomenal customer service at this store. I came in yesterday for balloons and this associate helped put together bundles for me for my even tomorrow. She helped me from start to end. Prices aren’t bad considering they’re really the only party supply story in the area. We love coming here for all of our party supply necessities.

The guy was extremely helpful and really took time to help me find and look for costumes in a youth size

The store was reasonably well laid out and finding what I needed was not to bad. However paying for your items and leaving the store was trouble. One cashier ringing up a long line of customers while a second employee blew up balloons while a third employee talked to the second employee. From the employees conversation they said the balloons were not needed yet...

This location is terrible, I arrived at the store and I picked out 5 balloons that needed to be filled up with helium. I went to check out and the cashier said I will have to wait one hour for the 5 balloons. That is ridiculous, mind you It was a Thursday it was 5pm and the store literally had one other customer present at the time. The store was empty and the people that worked there they were literally standing around, I would understand if it was the weekend and it was busy and I had an order or 20+ balloons but literally I had 5. Terribly customer service. Will not use this location ever again. The manager should re-consider the customer service provided towards the walk in clients.

After this weekend I will no longer be using your company for my decorating needs. I ordered some balloons online to be picked up at your store in Orland Park, IL. I arrived to pick up my purchase and was informed that the location had no helium. I was not notified prior to pick up and to make matters worse they stated on my receipt that I cancelled the order and charged me full price. I had no balloons for my daughters party. Very disappointing. Terrible customer service and a company I can no longer depend on nor trust after stealing my money.

Called when they opened and asked if they could do a balloon order (only needed 13 plain color balloons)They tell me we don’t take orders over the phone and would have to come in.Ok.. fine...Come in on way home from work and walk in and ask to do the balloons and they tell me there’s an 1 and half hour wait.Would have been nice if they could tell me that when I called. It was only 13 balloons.Ended up going to miejers in homer glen and they were so sweet and kind and did them on the spot for me..

Staff doesnt seem very experienced.everytime I go.theres a long line and 1 register open.it shouldnt take me 15 min to blow up 3 balloons.for Halloween they didnt even take the security magnet off my shirt when i purchased it.so when I went to get ready for my Halloween party I had to drive all the way back for them to take it off so I can wear it.

Shopping for baby shower decor, there was a very limited choice.

I ordered online to pick up. Since I placed my order after 7pm i didnt expect it to be ready until the next day. (it stated on the site that orders after 7pm will be ready next day) less than an hour later i received an email that my order was ready for pick up. After picking up a few more items I was quickly taken care of and out in less than 10 minutes.

I needed 2 balloons, Im from MD. Not anywhere near IL. I walk in to look at balloons because Dollar Tree was out of helium, and the girl behind the counter was very rude and said the next pick up time isnt till 6pm. Very snotty. 3 people standing around behind the counter twiddling their thumbs, but you have to order ahead for 2 balloons? Horrible customer service, I obviously had no clue you had to order ahead, and there was no need for the one girls attitude. I had the deer in the headlights look, in all the Party Cities Ive been too.....never have I had to order online for pickup of balloons. Even when I bought 40 black balloons for my husbands birthday.

Interested in balloons, dont pass this place up.

Wow, what a terrible experience. When arriving to pick up pre ordered balloons I had to wait 15 minuets for one of the young, arrogant teenagers to come ask me what I needed. Then was rudely told I needed my receipt for the pick up, understandable. I told them I was picking them up for my parents which then became an even bigger issue. The balloons had already been paid for, it’s not hard to look up a name and get what I needed. Terrible staff, young entitled kids who think they know everything. Horrible experience!

Poor service and unfriendly staff. Recently visited twice during the Holidays- customer service was lacking. Staff seemed disinterested in providing service and the approach to customer service felt robotic.

I bought my son a mini boo from the Orland Park, IL Party City on October 25th. I put it in his lunchbox the next day as a surprise. He came home very upset because the box was empty. I went to the store with my receipt (which I drove 20 minutes back to my house to get), went to the store and explained the situation to the person in charge named Heather. She said she would go talk to her manager. She returned and said she couldn’t replace the mini boo because my six year old son had thrown the empty box away at school. Because apparently a 6 yo would know to save an empty box. I asked to speak to her manager and was told the manager was not there. She said she couldn’t tell me when her manager Yolanda would be there. I spent $135 there and Heather would not replace a $4 defective product. I am beyond disgusted. I used to use party city for all my events and feel I can no longer go there because of this. Embarrassing customer service. To lose a lifetime of business over a $4 toy. Pathetic.

RIDICULOUS long wait to check out. 1 cashier who was checking out a customer with a bazillion items. 2 staff on blowing up balloons. After myself and 4 other customers waited in line for 20 minutes with no movement, the customer behinds me asks if one of the balloon staff can help check out. Cashier(very nice, situation not her fault) says they are 3 hours behind on balloon orders.(its Sat at 9am). I say were all going to be in line for 3 hours if no one helps her. She asks for assistance up front at which time a staff member comes up..TO HELP BLOW UP MORE BALLOONS! Done...not going back. Obviously management does not know how to staff and schedule appropriately.

I would leave 0 stars if I could. Went to pick up an online purchase Friday evening and the 2 employees were arguing with each other about who should take care of me. Very unprofessional and unfriendly. They seemed bothered to have to help me and were trying to pawn me off on each other.

When online it said you have five nights at freddies, then I drive 45 min and not one item. I will find my needs elsewhere or Pinterest! This was a huge let down. Plus the store was a mess. Rude workers. Nasty nasty nasty bathroom! My advice, find another store.

Its like every party city. Over priced holiday themed goods and bulk candy and other cheap Chinese products. But, unless you order from Amazon, you have to go here for these things.

Had an order for 20 balloons. The only balloons they had left of that kind and they just gave them away to someone who walked in and said they were there own. So if you want free balloons walk into here and pick out your order!!! $40 wasted money!!!!! Ill never ever in my life come to party city or have anything to do with them again! Prices are a bit high for the quality of spme items. I had bought some green hair clips for a St. Patricks day parade and was extremely disappointed when the clips broke as soon as I attempted to use them! Check you items before you buy.
