Terminal C and B are nice! The large cubic screen in the Terminal B is state of the art and even simple adds become an event.Well done!
Passport control and medical form check was smooth. There was no neither ATM nor currency exchange at terminal C to get rubles/cash
I have never seen such a huge check-in line for a flight. About a thousand of people including elders and children were forced to wait for hours. The temperature of air was 31°c. One girl in the queue and was taken by an ambulance. Then chaos began and people who were late for flights ran out of line creating a mess. But the most terrible thing is that only 40% of check-in counters worked. Later I have read in news that this situation was created by new covid-rules which were introduced by other countries. But, to my mind, the crowd which was formed my Sheremetyevo airport is much more dangerous during the third wave of pandemic. It’s really disappointing that one of the biggest airports in the country ignore covid-rules…
Used malevich lounge, food is quite poor but everything else was great. Very helpful and friendly staff
Terminal C Sheremetievo is a fantastic place. If you ever travel there, reserve some time to walk around. The design referrs to the Soviet futurism and constructivism. Excellent choice of food and drinks in the gates zone. Clean and comfortable.
I just spent 19 hours here after arriving from the UK. Clean airport.. all the staff I interacted with happy to help, despite their limited English and my limited Russian.4 stars because they have security on the entrance and Im a smoker - so every time I went out for a cigarette I had to go through security again.. and again.. and again....
Think not moment for judge functionality, quality of service & of the airport. Is a little part of it in function .
Was fantastic. Very open and neat airport with full of eatery outlets. Great to see such improvement in service sector. Hope most of the people will enjoy flying from this terminal and airport. Have safe flight and keep flying ...hurraa
Beautiful airport with lots of shops for food and alcohol...the toilets are available everywhere and theyre very clean. Its very organised and the people are helpful.Just wish the food places were a little cheaper.
I was amazed to land in such state of the art airport. JFK is a desecrate compared. Very hospitable environment. Huge airport. Beautiful shops for souvenirs starting at $5 to $20,000.All the employees in the shops and customer service were dressed very well. All well groomed.Great variety of eateries. When I went through passport control they were professional unlike the demons in the US who treat us as criminals.I was offered to wear slippers.I had to renter security and only for my Apple I-watch. Only airport to notice it.They offer every convenient to make your layover easier.I like to mention that on the way back home I was injured. They treated me with compassion and took me to a lounge which was great.
My wife was flying from Warsaw to Minsk through Sheremetyevo airport. Long story, but the main thing... They took her baggage without any explanation! And now she has to come back there to get your own stuff!!! Unbelievable! Btw they didnt even let her leave the international zone...
Unexpectedly horrific experience. My physically challenged wife had to literally drag herself around the huge distances because there was no wheelchair staff to help her. If this is the situation during these COVID-19 times with just a fraction of travellers, I cannot imagine how much worse it could get when normal air travel resumes. All the high tech renovation is no good if you lose basic humanity.I didnt give zero stars because Malevich lounge was decent, a saving grace.
Travelling during Corona time is not for light hearted, but here everything was easy peasy. I highly recommend Corona tests at RZD medicine express laboratory at the exit. They have 3 hours and 24 hours test. Super friendly, professional and reasonably priced: 2750 and 1800 rubles respectively. There are laboratories in Moscow who charge 230-100 euros for that.
Not bad, for sure its cleaner and nicer than LAX.
I remeber Sheremetyevo 10-15 years ago. Nothing to compare...This airport is 21th century standard. Exept Covid papers, not electronic . Good for recycling only♻️ 😂😂
Smokers in the restrooms make it unpleasant, otherwise a great airport. Modern, lots of restaurants. If only people would stand so close to each other. Also keep cash ready to tip the restaurant folks! US cards only pay for the price of the meal without tip.
Its raised to new level.Train to Terminal B and C!Lots of cafe and restaurants!Shops.Everything is clean and shiny!
Modern airport which has been renovated to support internal/national and international flights. Check-in and security control were quick (for an internal flight). All facilities one can expect at an modern airport are available. I would even state there are more places to sit and enjoy a good dinner.
Hey Sheremetyevo ! Do you really think that opening just one security checkpoint at 4 am in the morning when all flights are packed tight is an amazing idea? There are like 150+ people waiting and air conditioning is not even properly working. Come on you can do better then that! Two stars for now, please fix it. Still recommended
The new C terminal is a big improvement compared to terminal D. Luggage check and pasport check are very well organised. The duty-free area is a pleasant walk-through followed by smaller shops and cafés.
An absolutely terrible experience at this airport. The staff that works here at the check in desks are so rude and un professional. As soon as we got through security we got stopped at passport control for a problem. As we explained to them that there was no problem, a superior officer came and took us to a private room and told us to wait outside. They took our documentation and held it for over 1 hour. Our flights gate was closed as soon as we got passed. A horrific experience I do not recommend.
Nice new terminal C but coffee for 4 Eur is not that nice 😉
Nice airport. The transfer between terminals is convenient now, but there is a bottleneck at the elevator to the airtrain. Astronomical prices at the places to eat, especially coffee. The airport doesnt follow the COVID-19 safety protocol. At some gates people are enforced to stay shoulder to shoulder. Masks were not enforced.
The airport looks nice. There are many different shops and cafes around. It looks amazing, modern and beautiful. The staff of the airport are in the vast majority of cases rude, not friendly, not welcoming. Most of them look as if they have been tortured. The way they address people is not respectful. I am talking also about the staff of the Airflot who are based in there. It is really becoming a disaster with their attitude towards their clients from year to year. It is not only about the money but keeping their staff responsible for their attitude and disrespect. With time passing their attitude has become quite unbearable and it is becoming quite a serious cause for concern. Their services leave a lot to be desired. The staff have to be instructed on how to deal with clients properly. They should do their best to learn from the airports in the UAE and Qatar.
Terminal C for international flights is really at the level. Very good
Comparing this airport now vs. 10 years ago, it is a lot better, since there are more airports around, which became more active. It is also cleaner and more organized, which is always a good sign. This time, we received our luggage very quickly, and easily made our way to the exit. Even the parking improved!
Beautiful. But to do a transfer between terminals you should completely exit one terminal and enter the other one. Staff there is not helpful and always dissatisfied.
You should prepare yourself to some portion of aggression from staff. Some are kind, but some look to be not very happy with what they are doing.
Connected my flight here in 2018. Nice and clean. It is definitely a busy airport.
It wont look like an airport at 1st glance its sooo beautifulCleanliness is excellent
Had a connecting flight from his airport and during this I went to multiple places inside the airport. It was really great.I also talked to some Russian staff using translator to ask for veg food. They were really helpful. Overall, my experience was great.
My brothers insta got hacked because he connected to the wifi. 10/10 for the story
Very good airport, huge change from my last visit (1986). Clean airport everywhere, signd on Russian English and Chinese I guess, polite staff, plenty of option for sleeping (capsule beds, hotel etc), international cuisines, our bank cards worked without problem (no need to buy rublas in advance or at the airport). Due to delay of our first flight we manage to catch our next flight with layover only 1 hour. After we arrive in our home town, the Baggage claim staff was informed already from Russian staff that our bags did not fly with us and will arrive on next day (great job)!!! Just note, for international flight landing on Terminal D, you will have again passport check, security check in same Terminal D. If at the same time landed 3 flights, be prepared for big lines. Highly recommended!!
The airport is fine, the wave of fake taxi outside are awful..
Never again, i will never transit anymore by Russia. They are rude, uncommercial, they dont speak English, and everything is expensive for a low quality service. Russians need to learn how to make business in Europe or America.
Vry nyc counry i fully enjoyed in this place vry good experience
Nice place for hang out. Most coverage area. Convience
A huge transport hub, used to have a speedy aeroexpress train to Moscow that took around 35 minutes to the center, now its about 1h :-(
The gates and the areas adjacent to them are very crowded. Nowhere nearly enough seating. Toilets are also few and far in between. They are also really small. The other areas are actually alright. The walkways are wide with travellators. Signages are excellent.Again the train connecting the terminals are tiny and become really congested. They should probably move more flights out of this airport
Thumbs up for free drinking water across the airport! Super important amid summer 2021 heatwave!
Terminal B is very convenient and well-organized. I like flying out of here.
1st time in Terminal B.. really impressed
Very nice, clean airport. Pretty big, but good transport between terminals. Very good food, priced as in most airports. Overall good experience with friendly people.
A huge airport that still feels small and personal. Several terminals ( A,B,C etc.) huge building but well signposted and connected by train. Good shops and restaurants in terminal D, where we departed from.
I really like the space layout design of this airport. It has a traditional outdoor market atmosphere.Very practical and alive. Made me go shopping.
It was nice, clean and friendly environment
Wait at Check-in lines are way too long - had to wait almost 2 hours;Personnel’s are too slow and rude and not enough staff at the airport; If you are exchanging/buying tickets or paying extra for whatever reason at the register - they are handwriting most information and takes so much time;Navigations are not too clear, even for Russian speaking people;Improvements needed! Please!Thank you!
Its been raining. A lot of people. Good memories in Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod.
Not surprised that Russia is a leader of the Covid Spreading. No masks or social distancing in common areas, but airport authorities do nothing.
Although my experience with Aeroflot was better than I thought, this airport has the worst procedures for transfer and passport check. They were supposed to have more space for body check after the passport control and they should get people in line. It took more than an hour to get into security check and there were people losing consciousness. I dont wanna use this airport again.
Great view of planes and service and clear announcement that everyone can understand, but it has lack of slow passport checking and slow security check. Without these problem, I think this is one of the best airport in Russian Federation.
This airport is great for travelling from and to the middle east and asia!
Terminal C, departures.Fresh food, nice coffee, friendly staff, royal view :)
Reasonably good, recently refurbished and extended. You can survive there. However, taxis outside will attempt to charge a fortune. All locals order taxi in advance to be picked up.
Nice clean airport. But you need international roaming number to use airport internet. lots of charging points
The airport feels a bit like a giant budget airport, security is extensive yet quite efficient. The shopping areas are not very nice and rather expensive even when considering airport prices. The staff of aeroflot is very rude and inneficient. Announcements are not always given and the ones that are given are sometimes at the same time so you cant understand them.
Very big and clean airport. People are friendly, parking garage close to the arrival and departure and dogs are allowed. You have to pass a security while entering the arrival Terminal.
Flights always delayed! Barely could reach transfer flight...
Normal big airport, I don’t understand people who are complaining. I was flying from Yerevan to Warsaw and going to right gate on transit rules was easy - just read the sign and don’t follow the group like sheep:)!
The new expansion has made the airport really good, its bigger and far better than Domodedovo. I felt better here compare to Domodedovo airport.
Well organized airport. Baggage was delivered within 10 min, everything else was also pretty fast. The queue for PCR test was approx. 10 min.
Its a cool airport: clean, easy movement from one terminal to another, its enough cafes. Also important for the current time is fast-passing corona-test. When I was passing the test, I received a result after ~ 2 hours, the price of test is 2750 RUB (~30 euro). The note of passing test: need to register online on test firstly (need to pay for the test online as well)
The airport is quite large. All the common facilities are present in the airport. The toilets are on the first floor. One more thing to remember, if you take SIM card from the airport, you will have to pay a high price. The taxi from the airport to the hotel can be found from here but it is also quite costly. The staffs were not very friendly. we wanted to call from the airport to our hotel but the staffs did not let us call.Dont forget to LIKE my review if it helps.
No free internet unless you have Russian telephone no.!!! How can you have a Russian no. when travelled from aboard and arrived at 3 am!!! Transit from domestic arrival to international departure takes some time to walk but alright. A lot of sign and board everywhere. Big airport a lot shops and restaurants. Toilets are clean and fine. Be there twice, flights were delayed twice, both were with Aeroflot. You can pay with Euro at duty free shop.
Going up then down then take a bus just to get to the arrival hall. This airport is a bit lack of manage. The building actually big and the arrival hall is very convenient, but how they manage the passangers from one hall to another is a bit terrible. The plus point of this airport because they have many convenient stores, banks, restaurants, and it is easy to find Uber car.
Aeroflot was too slow and so we missed one flight and could not change in time for the other. Ugh.
It is one of the best airport in the world . Very clean, well organized, convenient transportation to downtown .
Better not, incredible queues. Even without any events.
Great, fast, no issues. Nice people.
Its outrageous - we arrived in Sheremetyevo exactly 2 hours before the flight and still missed our flight because of airport employees not being able to perform their work. The lines for baggage drop are almost not moving: the employees registering the suitcases have to make an additional call every time theres an unusual case (e. g. us travelling to Zurich with a stopover in Helsinki - created a cognitive dissonance). It took the lady 20 minutes to register our suitcase as she was not sure what the requirements to enter Switzerland are. Hence she was calling the number which was always busy and then she took my permanent swiss residency permit and left with it saying shes not sure thats enough to enter Switzerland.Therere many people missing flights because of extremely slow processes and confused Sheremetyevo employees. As a result my husband arrived to the gate 2 minutes after the gate closure and had to buy new tickets to fly the same day, which costed him $700.I fly a lot and Ive never had such a horrible experience anywhere in the world.
Big airport and you feel you loose your self.Good security measures
A good airport ease to find your way around.
Spacious, would be nice if the train station was air-conditioned
What I liked is the free WiFi that I was able to get even with my foreign number. If you have a connection, the domestic connection is on the first floor; which is rather convenient. However the security check queues are very long and you need the magic orange tray for your things.
So nice that I am missing it
Like so many things in this airport and given 4 stars because I think the stuff has to be more friendly
Quite busy airport but very good service. Cafes are much more expensive than everywhere.
Beautiful airport.
Best airport in Russia. A huge airport with terminals, connected by trains. All directions are marked clearly. A lot of information kiosks and displays. Lots of space to sit. Many places to charge devices. Good choice of food.
