Was surprised when I walked in and there was not a single soul inside (both employee nor customer). I called when I was inside and the staff came back from outside from going to a storage area behind the store. The staff was very pleasant...as per usual... the food today... was off sadly. They are known for their MASSIVE portions and I always get a lox bagel .. so Im used to the tower of cream cheese and MASSIVE slices of smoked salmon. Today it was TOO MUCH cream cheese...I actually had to scrape off about an inch lol The quality of fish was not great.. with parts of it inedible. I usually scarf the whole thing down for cheat day...but after a half of it I was done. Maybe I just need to come in earlier in the day next time. Im not giving up hope!

A Hidden Gem. This place has the best bagels in Orlando. Fresh and delicious. Their rainbow bagel is a hit with kids. It’s actually a plain bagel with food coloring and I see all kids ordering it. They have other unique flavors like French toast bagel and cheddar bagel.They’re generous with the cream cheese, as you can see. I personally don’t like that much on it so next time I will order lighter cream cheese. This place get buuusy on weekends. It’s actually next to a gas station. It doesn’t have a lot of seating space only three tables outside, so plan ahead.

This is an amazing hidden gem in Orlando. Very small, local place, with excellent food. Ive gotten food here a few times and its definitely worth it. The prices are very reasonable and the food is delicious.The lox sandwich is a huge portion, they also have a specialty NY bagel which is basically an everything bagel with cheese and Italian seasoning (its delicious). Last time I ordered I also got a bag of yesterdays bagels which are very reasonably priced and provide a good mix. I was able to try flavors I wouldnt normally including their rainbow bagel (plain just cute!).This place does get busy, despite its unassuming location - so be prepared to wait a little bit if you come during a peak time. There are a few tables outside, but this is really more of a grab and go. Highly recommend stopping by if youre looking for a good bagel!

Great food! Bagels are soft and tasty. My kids had bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches. One on a bagel and one on a Kaiser roll. My husband had chicken salad on a bagel and I had a turkey and cheddar sandwich on a bagel. My husband and my order came with a small side. We chose potato salad and macaroni salad. Everything was great. Only downfall, its small inside.

Pork roll, one extremely thin piece, on my breakfast sandwich. Like a slice of bologna!! Pre-made eggs and tons of butter. I feel like the beagles may have been frozen. I also found it odd my husbands order was wrong since we were the only customers in the store. If you’re from up north and get excited to see a NY Beagle place in Florida, you’ll be so disappointed. Bummer 🥲

Bacon egg and cheese is almost like Im back in NY at my favorite corner store. The juniors cheesecake brought me home. Definitely a must stop if your visiting from the city. Will definitely return and great service. Thank you for the tastes of home.

This place has a great variety of bagels. The Quality has been consistant in all my visits. Service could be better specially when you dont know most of the menu items. Its not crowded and just minutes away from international drive and universal boulevard. Totally Worth it

Good attempt at a real bagel. Above D&D but not 🚫 a NY deli. Service is suffering, alot of people walked out while I was there. Not part of my rating #covid, even if it took 35 mins to get food.Not made fresh ingredients is the biggest hit, no griddle, everything getting nuked in the toaster style machine. Patty style egg, bacon 🥓 no crisp. Other big hit was the bagel, its better than Dunkin, but I can assure you its no Riverdale, 3 star, or BOs bagels.The look is the most authentic thing about the place, even has a service window.... That they dont use, but its there. Think with a little change in the formula this place could be 4 star place.Just not a tri-state NY 🥯

Excellent NY Bagel place. Lots of bagels and different kinds of flavored cream cheeses. If you have been to New York and have tried Juniors Cheesecakes, you know how delicious they are. They have those cheesecakes at NY Bagel and Deli shipped from Juniors in NY. They are fantastic!

This place IS The real deal for Bagels, stopped in on a whim, was going someplace else and a pleasant surprise! Owner is a real NYer who brings in real bagels from NY weekly. We grabbed a couple of dozen, 20 tri-color cookies (they rock) and me and the wife had lunch, all was good, well be back!

The pesto mozzarella bagel was absolutely amazing, BUT the rest of the bagels were stale. Then, to top it all off, I got a Boston Creme cake and when I got home I took a bite and it tasted disgusting. I looked closer and there was mold on it!!!!! Will never go back as they clearly don’t practice food safety here. Doesn’t help that employees weren’t wearing masks or even gloves and two employees touched my bagels and pastries with their hands.

A small place that feels like its in the middle of nowhere - Im very happy I stumbled upon!Living in Vegas for 10 years means youre constantly on the search for good food. So naturally, you bring that hunt with you when traveling.A lot of places claim to have New York Style food, but this little hole in the wall actually delivers on their promise! I tried a bacon egg & cheese on a roll, and a plan bagel with cream cheese just to see what it was all about - i was not disappointed to say the least. Damn, if it didnt just remind me of a Sunday morning back in Queens.A plus to you guys!!

Anyone who loves NY Bagels should make this a point in their travels to Orlando. A small shop located next to a gas station off Gateway ave has all the great choices and sells Sabets hotdogs, which are sold by push cart vendors in NYC.

To be honest been looming for a bagel dhop in orlando for a while now and i finally found my bagels there so good here i wouldnt go anywhere else in orlando

First time I went here, it was the bees knees. Amazing food, great customer service. I came back a few weeks later (today) and it was a nightmare. The front counter guy told me whatever bagels I see was what they had available then after another person asked for the same bagel he toasted more so I never got the bagel I wanted. THEN the guy making everyone’s food was all about cross contamination. Never changed his gloves or washed his hands. Touched tickets, the oven, the walk-in cooler and boxes and went back to making food. After he contaminated everything, he made my order which was lox with cream cheese then touched my wife’s bagel and she doesn’t not like sea food. Sadly, she could smell and taste the lox on her bagel and had to throw it away. I’d love for this to be corrected. 2 completely different experiences at same spot.

Came in here for a bagel and a hotdog no hot dog buns and could not break a $20 bill never seen a business like that before you’re a bagel and sandwich place but you have no hot dog buns and you can break a $20 bill

That pastrami sandwich is all that and some. One of the only few spots with all types of bagel flavors including poppy seed, Definitely going back!!

First we went to Orange Blossom location. They were closed but a worker let us know they open at 11am (contrary to information online), and they dont make breakfast sandwiches.We drove to the nearby Gateway store. We arrived by 11am and they had very few bagels left - disappointing. We bought 6 bagels instead of a dozen, and 3 sandwiches for $30. 2 sandwiches cost more than I expected to pay. However the Brooklyn Bridge sandwich was piled high and delicious.Although the bagels are small, but they are truly NY style. Service was a little long because the cashier seemed to be in training. I appreciated her apology and she was pleasant to interact with. I will probably order bagels in advance next time.

Meh, its ok. It wouldnt cut it in NY for sure, but I guess here its all we deserve here. The food itself is pretty good, plenty of meat on the sandwiches. Unfortunately the staff doesnt seem to know their own menus. They seem to have started making 1 sandwich, started on the 2nd sandwich and somehow combined them into 1 and then told me my order was ready but I was still missing a sandwich. Also when the menu says grilled onions you will not receive grilled onions. Youll receive onions that have just been put through their Subway toaster oven, like everything else is. This place has a lot of potential, but only if they can sort out their business operations better. I suggest they visit NY again and learn how those run so smoothly.

Friendly and quick service. Ordered the Empire turkey Club on an everything bagel. It was delicious. Generous amount of turkey and bacon. The bagels are fresh. Lots of flavors to choose from. They have a good bite to them. They also sell cheesecake; oh my the raspberry cheesecake was creamy and light. Soo good.

Prices were unbelievable, hard to find NY style bagels outside of NY and they totally nailed it! Much better than any local chain!

I usually dont leave reviews but in this case I had too.. First time going and was highly upset. I ordered an egg & cheese breakfast sandwich and it wasnt freshly made. They gave me pre cooked eggs. Gross. Some of the egg was green and didnt know until I tried it. I ended up throwing up. Im originally from NY so this was truly disappointing and I wont be going back.

Truly great bagles. Youd be missing out if you didnt try the New Yorker. I got a sleeve of these asiago bialy-bagels, and they were perfect toasted with cream cheese (they sell tubs of whipped thats really great!) Everything is fresh and they employees are really awesome! Glad to have someplace close!

First time here and I usually wouldnt leave a negative review but we ordered 4 bagels and each one was done wrong. in addition they dont make it on the grill when ordered and instead have it precooked. my turkey bacon was right out of the bag put in an over. No thanks. Just my personal view. I will not return here.

How this place has good reviews is a bit suspect. The bagels are dry, chalky, and tasteless. If you order a breakfast bagel, prepare for disappointment. If you order a bagel with cream cheese, keep a spoon handy to remove the extra pound of cream cheese they glop on there. As you’re cleaning up the mess, you’ll find yourself wondering why they hadn’t asked, “do you want a bagel with your cream cheese?” There is nothing “NY” about this place. Avoid.

Visited on a Saturday morning. Guy behind the counter was friendly and answered all my questions. I see several negative reviews here, but our experience was positive. Only got a dozen bagels, but they were solid. Well be returning.

Absolutely love the bagels and sandwiches here and have been a patron for over a year. the past few months, customer service has gone out the window. the phone is always disconnected, uber eats orders not accepted, or once, my uber order was accepted and i ended up having to drive there and pick it up after an hour because they never marked it as completed. it’s so frustrating because i do really enjoy the food, but the man that has been working there the past several times i have tried to order has been rude and unhelpful.

Didnt even get to try the food. Walked in and there were 3 or 4 people waiting to order. The reason for 2 stars is whoever the 2 that were working didnt seem to have any sense of urgency knowing there were people in line to order food. Me and my buddy waited about 5 minutes and they were only ringing up the second persons order, so we left. Didnt want to wait 30+ minutes for food.

Unfortunately this my first time buying bagels at the shop on Gateway. Im a previous New Yorker and have been searching for a good bagel for 29 yrs here in Orlando. I purchased a half-dozen mixed...they were stale and old...impossible they were made today. I tried toasting before I made my turkey sandwich but it did not help much..dry, no flavor an not edible. I had to take the turkey off and put it on a piece of bread to finish my lunch. Waste of money...$22.00 plus gave $3.00 tip to workers. The employees were nice. I was there today Sept 30. Came in around noon, my son got a pastrami sand to go...was just ok...bagels were stale and hard.

Small place, but very inviting...tables outside with easy-listening type music. Ordered the Jersey (Taylor ham, egg, and cheese) on a bagel and everything bagel with cream cheese and butter. Everything was delicious! Bagels were nice and soft. Price was reasonable. Owner came out to talk with us...very pleasant guy. We enjoyed this mom and pop family-owned business. We will be coming back, and recommend it to others.

We had an excellent experience! The classic bagel breakfast sandwiches we had were awesome and so was the vanilla latte. We also had a half dozen of the New Yorker bagels and they are absolutely worth the drive. The staff is really nice and prices are very reasonable! Well be back!

Have bagel and some food to go, is ok

I put in an online order at 10:15 AM and ended up leaving the shop at 11 AM empty handed. The employees were unable to make two bagels, but instead served every other person beforehand. After watching them throw away our ticket and sitting for another 10 minutes, I had requested a refund. When I asked for a refund Mike behind the counter told me “give me a second”. Don’t go here.

I’m glad they got a bagel spot in central Florida...but honestly it don’t compare to the breakfast sandwiches I get in New York. The bagels are great tho, but usually I get a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich in NY and they cook it on the grill...they don’t even have a grill to fry egg and bacon in this deli. But ya do have great selection.

I went to get a slice of pizza the lady at the register suggested I get the combo 2 slice pizza and a pop which they didn’t have many options toChoose from so I just had grabbed a Dr Pepper as I was trying to enjoy my pizza I felt something weird at the back of my mouth and went to grab it in my mouth and I pulled out a long black hair the man that made my pizza wasn’t wearing a hair net the hair was untwined in the cheese so I know it wasn’t mine also my hair is red so it wasn’t mine and it was rapped around the cheese super gross it was the nastiest experience of my life to have hair in my food yuk I will never go back....which sucks cause I’m from New York and I love to enjoy pizza from my hometown... extremely disappointing smh 🤦‍♀️🤮🤢🤢🤢🤢

The Real Deal. Heard about it and drove over to try it out. Sesame seed bagel with cream cheese. Perfectly toasted, perfect amount of cream cheese, soft and chewy! Yes...a real NY bagel. Watched sandwiches being made and they looked so good. One customer said he has eaten there everyday since opening two months ago. I will come back for lunch soon. Heard they were coming to Winter Garden. Hope so. Only request is to step up the coffee game. They offer a medium and dark roast. I had the dark and it was good. Would like to see more flavors, like hazelnut or Irish cream. Small thing but would make a big difference....at least to me. High marks for this place.

Bagels arent bad but I got a small container of lox spread to go only to find out they make it with butter? 😅 idk Im from NY Ive never heard of lox spread being made with butter. I would get regular cream cheese next time.

Absolutely delicious. The bagels were really flavorful, and the toppings were good quality. The staff were also very nice. The menu had a wide enough variety with lots of new York classics. Ill be going to the place a lot in the future.

This is the best place for bagels and sandwiches since I left New Jersey. It really brings back a lot of good memories when I eat there that I can share with my son. The staff is very friendly. I an so very glad we finally have a place locally to eat great foods.

Orlandos hidden bagel gem, small place but reminds me of a bagel shop in NYC. We tried the nova lox bagel sandwich as well as the classic bagel sandwich. Both sandwiches were amazing and the staff is extremely friendly. Will be coming back for sure, thanks for the great eats!

I was super excited to find this place because the only other NY bagel place is all the way in winter park and I live in Kissimmee but I’m a little peeved. Giving two stars for the large bagel selection but would honestly like to give one because we are in a nation wide pandemic where FL is the epicenter and to see someone making my bagel not wearing a mask is crazy!!! you’re wearing gloves and that’s great but if your coworker is wearing a mask and your customers are in masks shouldn’t you think to wear one too!! i’m honestly scared to eat this bagel with nova cream cheese I just paid $4.00 for! don’t think I’ll be back, I’d rather drive to winter park and have peace of mind about their safety protocols over staying closer to home and questioning my safety while debating if I should eat what I paid for. Super disappointed.

Their bagels make me miss New York SO MUCH. I dont think I will be able to go back to store bought bagels after this. Best asiago bagel Ive ever had. Hands down
