Hourglass is a brewery that provides so many options it can be overwhelming, however the vast selection of beers they offer is guaranteed to satisfy diverse palates. Give the Key Boom a try (if youre a fan of sours) and ask about the buzz buttons. One of the strangest experiences I have ever had, however they add a new level of depth to an already solid brew. The staff is friendly and helpful with recommendations, and the venue is clean and comfortable.
Awesome. Would recommend ‘grand daddy terp’ and ‘honey bell wit’. Good vibes inside and out. Pulled up with a snack this time, but they do have some grub. Great service busy or not. Selection varies though I have not gone too deep. I plan on going further and have started my list of favorites. Fun names and good decorations make the place click. Receptive to any and all, very whimsical once you get inside if I were to describe it one way.
Great brewery! Be prepared to be overwhelmed with options, but thats OK, just ask their friendly bartenders for help. After asking me some questions about preferences, beer related and non-beer related, Chipper selected 2 delectable beers for me to sample. After his spot on assessment, I trusted him to choose 4/5 of the beers for my flight. Its fall so obvi I had to try one of their October fest beers ats the 5th. Overall, excellent atmosphere, service and beer!
42 Brews!! ON TAP!! Niiiice!!!This is a great brewery. Spacious, friendly service, and good beer! Its next to a few restaurants as well so grab some brews and eat after. They have corn hole in the front and a great open patio. Oh, and complementary popcorn too! Sweet or salty, just ask!For my first beer here, I got the Morrígan which is a smoked rye stout. Super smooth with a light smoke and really easy to drink!
Super nice staff and they all had masks on. Beautiful outside area. Its very kid friendly.
Tried a couple of different beers, they were pretty good. Service was good, prices were average to breweries in the area.
A great brewery experience, their selection is one of the best I have yet encountered, along with reasonable pricing for craft beers. The bar area is open and spacious and they featured a live musical-performer, as well.An enjoyable evening out.
This brewery has it all, apparently. While I’ve heard that their 500-ton gigacake is in fact delicious, that their indoor underground secret swimming pool is heated, and that the free ride to Mars they offer is prompt and efficient, I didn’t manage to find or try any of that, as I was too focused on the 40+ taps of beer they offer. The beer, by the way, was delicious.
Awesome tap room! Monster selection. 2million bees and some hops. Got to go a long way to beat it. Staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Venue is pretty cool. Highly recommend.
ALWAYS a great selection of brews to pick from, I like to try out new flavors and styles. Bartenders are ALWAYS friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and they remember what you like to drink and make great suggestions. The place is clean, spacious open airy and there are usually dogs around and kids which are always fun to watch. Hubby loves his IPAs and he has favorites but you can find something to like. We stop in as often as we can we love the place, the people the atmosphere. A couple-few years back we used to go to the Longwood location but this one is better, while smaller
Travelled here from out off state and when coming was super excited to try their wild stout and wanted to try some others as well including some sours as well as an IPA. The sour stout was awesome, the sours I was not a fan of it tasted like they all had the same beer base with just different flavorings. The brewtender was very informative with the different beers we wanted to try. It was not until we paid that we realized it was 18$ for a flight of beer and we were in shock, the beer was decent but not worth that for a flight of beer, yes they include 5 beers, but where we come from its 8-10 for 4-5 beers on a flight. If they were a little more reasonable for the cost of a flight I would be giving them 4-5 stars.
Great assortment of beer on tap. Good seating inside and out. Plenty of spacing between tables too. Plenty of food options around the brewery, to enjoy with your beer.
This place is pretty dope. Unique beers at reasonable prices. Pet friendly and a great staff. Awesome.
Best craft beer selection in Orlando! Dog friendly with a lot of seating indoor and outdoor. They allow outside food, and the Italian restaurant next door seems to partner well with them when it comes to running over and ordering pizzas. There is also a food truck occasionally set up outside in the parking lot.
Hmm, am reading some of the reviews. Most understand the art of making specialty brews. They use very special ingredients. They cost more. Heck even the basics like the yeasts and hops can vary greatly in costs. It cost more to make a premium beer. I would like to buy my growlers for less. But Id be getting a less quality product. I probably spend $300.00 a month here. But, I enjoy every sip. I just wish my favorite was back on tap. They know which one imitating about.
Great local craft beer selection. Definitely worth visiting if you like all types of beer.
Great vibe! Big open floor, great selection of beers, and very friendly staff.
Had 5 people all try multiple beers and enjoyed all beers. If you know what you like they have a good version
We had the perfect experience at Hourglass! Friendly and knowledgeable bartender(sorry, I dont have your name but you had a mickey face mask) and spent a lot of time with us. We shared two and a half tasting sheets, and the beers were on point, especially the Heather ale and the eternal flame. Great brewery!
Little brother to Longwood location....beautiful bar. Nice location in growing area. In and out space.
Love the environment, its dog friendly, but most importantly, the beer is delicious!! I also love that you can order food from the pizzeria across the street or their social house, also across the street, which has Mexican Street food. We will definitely come back. Beer wise I recommend the Wolf Smart, 2 million Bees and Some hops, the Frankie Rock and the Giant Giant Dwarf.
Great beer! Beautiful tap house with an extensive selection.
I have been enjoy Hourglass products and services your years. Ever since the little house brewery in Longwood. The quality of libations honestly is unmatched in Central Florida period.
Very nice place. Friendly staff. Nice selections. I love their sours!
Friendly atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. I recommend jazz saxophonist on Friday night paired with Deep F%#ing Value. A light hoppy beer. Thanks Dillon.
Modern, comfortable, and friendly brewery/beer bar. Tons of selections!
Vibe is great but wish the beer was better. Also fans outside would be beneficial in the FL heat.
Great environment. Wednesday Bingo was lots of fun. Excellent selection of drinks. Seemed dog friendly.
Love the beers! Also, the atmosphere is great. Similar vibes as the Longwood location but cozier place.Another plus is the local restaurants will deliver food to the bar.
Amazing beer list, so many great flavors to choose from so I recommend starting with a flight. Service has always been very attentive and all of the bartenders are very friendly. Socially distancing here is effortless and everything feels very sanitized and clean. We always have a great time here, it’s one of our favorite breweries on the central Florida ale trail.
We got went to the food truck. The grill cheese sandwiches are very tasteful!
Good beers. Friendly feeling. Tasted this out of Towner will
Great beer nice bartender really nice place all around good spot to hang out in Orlando
Super chill vibes, great beer, its a fun time. Outside patio is aesthetically pleasing with lights hung around. Pretty safe during these covid times, has enough space- easy to be 6ft apart.
Amazing beer and atmosphere! Definitely coming back!
We really ejoyed the beers we tried, but theres still more to try for next time! The beers were all great, and the bartender was genuinely enthusiastic about what we might like next.Fun assortment of entertainment on the TVs around the room - legitimately something for everyone.Well be back to sample more beers next time! :)
Cool spot with interesying brews. Will be back.
Amazing seltzers and sours. Love the atmosphere.
Good variety of drinks. Tons of seating, plenty of which is outdoors. highly recommended.
Dillon is AWESOME! He took amazing care of us while we were in town for a few days. He even gave us a heads up about a special release in a few days, so we went back to try it! He made our trip very memorable and more special than he knows. Thank you for being so awesome and for taking care of your customers like they are your best friends!
Always great service and brews ..love this brewery
Amazing!! Had a very good variety to select from. Had excellent brews!
I really enjoyed this location. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The environment was very clean and organized with plenty of space between tables. The beer selection was top notch with basically at least one offering from most common styles of beer and many unique styles as well. I look forward to returning with a group of friends and family.
Great atmosphere, great people, great beer. I love this new location and will definitely be returning regularly.
Expensive for the quality of food. The size of the prawns are a joke. Staff avoid eye contact. They all look unhappy.
Great place, had fun with the bingo, my grandma would be proud.
Wonderful spot! Many places to sit outside. Super clean and a patient crew to help you find the right beer for you. Thank you!
Really good beer, free popcorn, and some good restaurants in the area that you can get delivered to the brewery.
Wide variety of locally brewed beer. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Top 3 brewery in central Florida and a favorite place to have a beer walking distance from my house.
This is a wonderful craft brewery with a great atmosphere and prices. It also features a very helpful manager named Chauncey (not to be confused with the Pokemon). Ask him about their milk stouts!
I was predisposed to like Hourglass brewery. It’s new and it’s close to my house, likely a good place to unwind after work. First impressions were good - it has a nice ambiance and it was fairly full if not crowded. There is no table service, just a busboy. It took us a few minutes to figure this out but ok. The bartender was a little slow even considering we ordered flights.Once seated we realized how loud the place actually was. Unpleasantly loud. There are no soft surfaces anywhere to dampen the sound and the room seems to act as an echo chamber. A patron on the next table with a loud laughter literally caused our ears to ring. Finally we got to try the beer. We had 10 varieties to sample. I’m sorry to say that they proved the biggest disappointment. Of course taste is subjective but here are my grades on a scale 1-5, 5 being the highest:Baroness 1 - watery grapefruitBrown 4 - smooth then gone without a traceSaison 1 - I’d rather drink cat peeElectric aloha 1 - lemon juice and baking sodaFoxtail 3 - standard coffee beer but a bit too sourIrish curse - 3Pkumbalumba - 3Tulsi - 3Honeybell - 3Tummy kisses - 4
Loved The District & Squish beers 🍻
Finally got to hit up this brewery thats right around the corner from our house. Weve had it bookmarked since before it even open and have been looking forward to such a close location since we love their Longwood branch. The parking area is small, but they have overflow parking dedicated further back. There is a patio area with faux grass and bags and kids games. Inside it is larger than it looks from the outside! They have long tables, four seaters, a lounge type area to the side, and bar seating. There are tons of beer options and they also serve wine (limited).Since they dont serve food themselves, they partner with food vendors across the street and next door (F&D Woodfire Grill and Tamale Co.). You can order via call or text and Tamale Co delivers it to you onsite, which is super nice. The staff was quick and friendly and they do a variety of fun evening events like trivia! Be on the lookout for events that they do on weekends too, like yoga at the brewery.Overall: AA solid local brewery with a fun vibe and plenty to do. Love that they partner with local eateries!
Rad place. So many options on tap theres sure to be something youll love.
Great beer selection, friendly staff. My favorite place to go when in Florida.
Havent been there yet but Ive heard good things about it Ill be there soon..,...
More people need to be aware of this place. Very cool atmosphere and one of the best beer selections of any brewery in Central Florida. Looking forward to my next visit.
The beer was great and they were all wearing masks. The tables were spear out a bit and the pricing was on point.
Best brewery bartender Ive had in forever. Great salesman and knew his beers!! Will go every chance I get!!
What an awesome place! I am shocked they have so many sour beers. Sours are so hard to come by but they have like 7 or 8. 10/10 would recommend!
I love Hourglass Brewing! Its a chill atmosphere and the beer is amazing! The service is great too. They always have fun activities, such as a run club every other Wednesday, bingo, trivia, Christmas markets during the holidays, a PJ party for New Years Eve! I highly recommend you check it out!
Randomly stop by never been in the area which has awesome shops and food. The brewery itself was great and killer draft beer list. Lots of neat local brews.
Great beer and great service. Josh was knowledgeable and had great conversation.
Fantastic place. Fantastic beers. Steph, Grant, and Chauncey helped our group find beers. Some of us were new to craft beer and every single recommendation they made was delicious.
Not only is the beer, beer selection great but the service by Chaucey great. ask for the popcorn !!!!
I found the beers and ales to be very true to style with the ones I tried. The staff was friendly and efficient. My friend and I were on our second pint when a couple walks inside with a large dog thatproceeded the climb on the bar stools close to us. A few minutes later the same dog tried to attack a waitress. The dogs owners only laughed and did nothing to discipline the animal after this display of aggression. Furthermore the staff didnt speak up either. Both and my friend are both animal lovers, but we also have respect for other people around us. Its too bad some people do not. Also there were plenty of open tables outside on The veranda for the people to sit with their dog. I dont mind having a dog friendly establishment to go to but there should be rules, and preferably restrict them to The veranda outside. Thank you and good luck in the new location.Sincerely,a neighbor
Awesome local brewery with creative original beer menu and comfortable outdoor seating.
We are the customers that have been there since the opening of the Curry Ford location...when nobody was there even on Saturdays and Sundays. We love Josh. The environment now has a music choice and volume that makes it intolerable to be at this location. As residents within walking distance, its unfortunate you cant visit with friends because of the audio system volume. Sadly catering to a specific crowd vs a diverse demographic.
Great food great service awsome
Continually a great place to just relax and have a great beer!
Very relaxed place, very clean and enjoyable.
Huge selection of beers. Fun trivia night
Really great taproom, awesome selection of beers, and the staff are friendly! Chauncey does great helping me find beers I lkke and Kendra (the girl that runs trivia) does a great job. Id definitely recommend this spot to anyone who is looking for a fun chill night!
Great service from the entire crew. The beer and selection is great.
What a fun experience! Comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious beers and so much variety. They are open 7 days a week - I highly recommend this place!!
