They used to have the BEST cheese rolls (pão de queijo) that I ever had here in Orlando, but once the restaurants getting bigger and expanding, the quality is not the same. Those that we have today was ok in flavor but was rubbery, nothing crispy.Risoles was made long time ago. Same as the coxinha, but I asked for a new one, they fried for me, it was very tasty.Coffee is good, but a little pricy.Staff are always friendly.Environment is nice when it is not full of people.
A melhor padaria brasileira de Orlando by far! Great food, snacks, service and more! If you are in Orlando visiting or living, to go there is a must!
Place is really nice. Pancakes were good, French toast not so much. Wish they served you in a bigger plate as it was all cramped in 1 plate. I guess it makes it seem like more food. Highly recommend the pineapple and mint juice!
Only tried the baked goods, and they were pretty good. However, the speed of service was unacceptably SLO I waited in line for about 30 minutes before I got to order. None of the items had labels or prices, so that made the process even less efficient. After ordering, I expected the pastries to come out quickly because they are already prepared in the glass cases. Waited another 30 minutes for the food to come out. So even if you order a slices of cake, the process will take you about an hour in total.
Food is amazing. Always fresh. Deserts are not only beautiful and eye appealing but scrumptious. I am always willing to make a 30 minute trip to this place. Highly recommend.
Great food. A bit of a line, but it was worth it
I’m Brazilian. I love Brazilian food but, I’m very disappointed with the quality of food here. I order pastel and coxinha. It was very dry and difficult to eat. I’m not coming back here again.
$4.00 for ONE, SINGLE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE!!! The food is a 6 out of 10. Their picanea steak should be more consistent considering this is a staple cut of meat
Inexpensive Brazilian bakery. I wish they would have prices and names of their bakery items in the cases it would make it a lot easier for me to make choices before getting to the counter and then asking what everything is. I ordered from the glass case and I still had to get a pager and wait. I thought they would just grab a box and filled it up as I pointed things out. Food was good but prices are very inexpensive.
5 stars for the sugar donuts. Long line weekend breakfast similar to lines at dennys. Friendly service. Seems like a Small kitchen so cooked food does take a while. Beautiful Brazilian in average shopping center next to Footware store .
Good food... Thats about it... The place was once nicely designed but currently in need of lots of repairs and maintenance... In my last visit they did not have a proper paper towel in the bathroom or napkins at the table, they were handling kitchen paper towels for everything... It may be OK to use kitchen paper towels as na pink in your house but not okay on a professional environment... The girls working behind the counter were apparently upset with something and passing this bad vibe to all costumers... What struck me the most was to see the portions way smaller than they were before, 9n top of that the prices are also higher, same as double of price increase..
The cakes are amazing. One if the best bakeries in orlando
Very nice bakery and eatery specializing in Brazilian cuisine and sweets. Located in a high tourist area, this shop is well decored and very clean. Stop by for a bite to eat or of you have sweet tooth for the exotic.
The food is very good, from the rice and beans to the chicken and steak and dessert all very good. The reason for the two star review is the service. From start to finish this place almost makes it a point to provide bad service. As soon as I walked in I waited in line to make an order, not sure what to order as they do not give you a menu until you get up to the register. After ordering they giver me a pager, yes a pager that beeps, to let me know when the food was ready. After waiting about forty minutes for the food I had to walk up to the register grab both trays, avoid the line of people making orders and get back to my table only to realize that the only place they have napkins was the front counter. Anytime you need anything you need to go to the counter to get it, and no matter what you ask for, water, to go boxes, or coffee you already paid for, the staff talks a long time to get it to you. This place has so much potential if they knew what they were doing, because the food is actually very good and the prices are on point too.
What an amazing little find! A beautiful bakery, sweet & savory goods. Even a great spot for a dinner if you want to avoid the big name chains in the area. Very friendly staff. Will definitely be back here for breakfast any time we are in Orlando.
It made me feel just like eating in Brazil! Every slice or piece of anything we tried was to die for! We didnt know what to order with all the delicious things they have on display.. Going back for more!
The worse Brazilian bakery Ive ever been to .They took forever on my order only to give me THE WRONG ORDER ! I had to go back return what they gave me and get the food I order I get back to my hotel and guess what ? Not the food I ordered AGAIN. I was so exhausted from going back and forth that I just ate what they gave me. And it was horrible ! Will not return to this place ever again !
The variety of desserts, and the quality was absolutely incredible! I also ordered food but in my opinion the proportion of the sides, served with the food, was very small, coming from a brazilian restaurant (rice, beans). Still, the food was good and I will come back for sure
Very disappointed. We got there and the lady behind the cashier (curly hair and tattoo on her arms) didn’t seem super thrilled telling me the different options of food they had. After making our order we sat down for 10 min waiting for the açaí bowl to get ready (we had also order coxinha, pão de queijo e soda which coulda been served before we went to sit at our table), so I got up and asked for the soda and the other food we ordered that we didn’t have to wait. Sat down at the table, pão de queijo and coxinha were cold, so I had to get up again and ask them to heat it up. They did, using the microwave… and the food was still cold. After being done eating, it took another 10 min for the açaí bowl to get ready. It means the coxinha and pão de queijo would still be sitting waiting for the açaí to be ready. I dont know why on Earth they would think that anyone would want cold food.Summary: terrible customer service and food isn’t that good. I have been to many other Brazilian Bakeries way better than this one. Apparently they only treat well the famous people who go there, who by the way are the reason for many other customers like me to go visit this place. I live in Maryland and came down to spend a week vacation in Orlando and was very excited to eat their food after all the Instagram posts from Brazilian celebrities. Not worth it.
I loved the cakes there! All of them are fresh, made in house, tasty, sweet and truly Brazilian. If you are around the area and are craving something super sweet, this is the place to go!
Nice place, good food, but overpriced
I used to love this place and ALWAYS went there for some cakes and pastries. So when birthday came I decided to order a cake. I used online service. Ordered chocolate cake with strawberries and condenced milk. On Monday 02/22 I picked up cake. At counter I double checked with a girl at counter if it was chocolate cake. She said yes. So I happily left. When I went home and we cut a cake, we recognized it was vanilla. The birthday person really wanted a chocolate cake and kind of was disappointed. Me either. If it was any other regular day, I would not bothered myself to leave a review. But it was a BIRTHDAY! And cake was ruined
I used to like there, this time the customer service was awful, the food was terrible, I don’t know if they choose who to serve well but we are not happy at all! The only thing that is good there is the açai and the cueca virada! Customer service is terrible! Don’t know if I’ll give it a try next time I’m down in Orlando!
I waited an eternity to get my food and when I got it was horrible! The Coxinha was terrible I will not be coming back to this place again !
The customer service is very slow, I was in the line for about one hour and the line was going outside store, I went to talk to the cashier that I was late for my flight and if he can rush or get another cashier and he answer was that was nothing he can do.Lack of profissionalism and bad customer service.
Only deserts and acai bowl are good. The rest of the food is tasteless. We ordered Tilapia, Picanha, rice and beans but they didn’t taste good. Restrooms are always dirty and smell like urine. Need to improve food quality and cleanliness.
We come to this cafe every time we visit Orlando! My fiance is Brazilian and I personally just love good food. The service is always excellent, fast and friendly. The food is delicious, authentic Brazilian. They have plenty of desserts, juices and shakes. They also have full meals. I personally am obsessed with the coxinha, a fried Brazilian ball with chicken and cheese. It is my absolute favorite and I will come back to this cafe every time I am in Orlando!
I would say this Brazilian Bakery is very good. Everything they have for sweet is super yummy. Also they are a restaurant Ive Had the pasta and steak for the price is was very good . The season the use is totally different . I would recommend Trying them out see for yourself.
We drive an hour out for the baked goods here. The chicken pie is my favorite savory item and all the cakes are moist. Bom!!
Definitely recommended. I always visit whenever im in Orlando.
The staff were nice, the wait time was decent...the only thing is that they forgot my flan.
Wanted to try the place out, unfortunately they turned me away with 20 minutes left to close...The kitchen was closed they said, and I had already paid the parking. I felt that 20 minutes was not a good enough reason, and needless to say, I will be left without trying this place. I will not return another time, I felt unwelcome.
This is a Brazilian padaria bakery its awesome
I don’t recommend them to anyone, my wife paid for a VIP breakfast for my birthday and they simply IGNORED US, 5 days before the event they stopped answering our messages and phone calls, we went to their location the night before the event and the employee responsible for VIP packages wasn’t there and also haven’t shared with them the information about the order, they were not prepared to deliver our VIP breakfast and asked if we were willing to change to an on-site breakfast, what was supposed to be a VIP experience finished as the most disgusting experience, the package was very expensive for that ridiculous treatment. If you want to make your anniversary or any type of event special PLEASE DON’T CHOOSE THEM or you’re getting screwed just like we were.
4 stars due to social distancing not happening. Went for breakfast everything was good
Delicious food and great service. Came all the way from Lake Worth to try it!
Food is okay but pricey! You can eat better with what they charge.
Great selection of sweets and breads. They also serve food. Very friendly staff.
Visited on 11/11/2020, around 9am. Not busy. . . YET! Never been to a cafe/bakery like this. I wanted to try everything.Located - in a small plaza/strip mallParking - there is a large lot with plenty of places to park.Cleanliness- 9/10 I’d say 10/10 however the staff has to clean up your place when your done eating. Which makes other have to stand waiting for the things to be removed. Otherwise, everything is spotless even the legs of the tables & chairs, bathrooms and booths.Seating- inside they has small tables to large booths a place for a party of any size.Menu- So many options, I came a breakfast and ordered a coffee/latte & sweetbread, donut w/buttercream filling. I also tried a chicken & cheese fill thing. The waiter/staff assisted me with these suggestions. He was spot on!Staff- speaks English/ Spanish/ Portuguese
Went here with my Brazilian girlfriend. The good:-food presentation 5/5-portion size 5/5-price 5/5The bad:-long wait time-fries were cold-burger was cold, buns stale and untoasted-mango juice was very watered down-pao de quiejo was hard as a rock-feijao was blandBasically you get a lot of food but its not great food
Great bakery with yummy sweets, I have been there a few times and its always been a nice experience.
I have been going here since they opened. The have improved and grown so much, I love the food and the salgadinhos. Being from Brazil, and having a pastry chef at home, I am very critical of food, especially Brazilian. This place keeps the integrity of the Brazilian home-made cuisine. The only things I dont like is the service, they used to be very friendly and smiles, but since their traffic has increase their smiles have diminished. My only other critic is that every time I am there I have to ask them to not reheat the salgadinhos in the microwave.... This makes them soggy and not as fresh. So dont forget to ask them to not hear them up on the microwave.I love the fresh juices and the coffee! The lunch menu is great, quick turn around for the others and great portion size for one person, the price is not too bad either. You get a home cooked meal for a fair price!
My first time eating there, the food was terrible, too much expensive for the food, for self service and the ambient was too noise, nothing good .
Great service.
The dining area was clean and the staff was very friendly, but the amount of wait time was unacceptable. My husband, brother-in-law and I ordered food and drinks. We waited for 40 minutes and no food had come out, also we hadn’t received our drinks. At this point my husband to leave for a meeting. About 5 minutes later the food finally came out, but I still didn’t receive my juice and my brother-in-law hadn’t received his beer. After we ate I was going to ask for a refund for the drinks when they suddenly arrived after the meal. The food is good and people are friendly, they just need to fix their process. The best part is the cake! No complaints there. One of the two stars is for the cake alone.
Good portions and tasty treats - great steak and eggs!
I’ll start with the good. The chocolate cake and baked goods are great. The pao de queijo was okay. However, I was also served the single most disgusting coxinha and pehaps meal of my entire life here. The chicken was so old it tasted acidic and looked to be days old and had just been reheated in the microwave. I’m talking this coxinha was inedible and quite possibly would land you in the hospital if you actually ate it. I literally gagged on it when I tried. I’m dead serious. A health inspector would shut that place down if they saw what I was served.
Great tasting pastries and puddings. Another frequently visited place while in Orlando..
No menu’s until you get to the register. Coffee is horrible and it’s the second time I go there and the coffee is cold. Food takes to long and is not worth how much they charge. Not worth your time!
Great food and service !
Very tasty. Ill return with my friends. Food and feeling reminds me of Kansas City.
I love the food but the people who works is unpleasant and rude!.. I don’t come over more because the attendant! Never smile 😃!..
The best Brazilian bakery in the area.
Fresh baked pastries, cakes, meat filled items and full menu, its easy to find something you like. Would help if there were signs in the display cases to let you know what the items are.
A very nice family environment to go. I loved it
Visiting a Brazilian bakery when I’m in Orlando is a must do to me. This bakery offers good customer service. The cashier guy explains the nature of pastries that are unfamiliar to non-Brazilians. I tried the Flan,Dulce de leche eclair and for savory-hotdog inside the bread. Everything was delicious.
My husband and I went to this place to get coffee this morning approximated 11am. Unfortunately, the girl that makes the coffee was rude to my husband when he asked if the coffee that was on the counter top was our coffee. The place was not that busy for her to act like that toward to a client. I have a business and I treated my clients with respect and kindness always no matter what. We could go to Starbucks to get our coffee instead we went to this small business to help them to stay in business and what we received was a very poor service from this girl. Plus the coffee wasn’t that good for the money. Good luck
Great Brazilian food and a reasonable price! Dont be intimidated as a non-Portuguese speaker and enjoy some authentic baked goods and cafe/diner style food.
I got a cake to take it to work for Thanksgiving party. It was a ruge cake and it didnt last until the end of the day. Everybody loved it. I should mention that I have co-workers from several different countries as well.
All the cakes are delicious
This place is absolutely astounding. Amazing bakery unbelievable food and you have to try the Açai...just fantastic.
As everyone stated before, the food and pastries are unbelievable good. Its hard to choose what to get because EVERYTHING is amazing.Be prepared to wait a LOT in here. If you are going to dine in, oh boy good luck! The best idea to beat the wait is to order ahead via phone for pick up.
Always the same tasty flavor! Best pao de queijo and kibbe in town!
Food and staff were good..
I was disappointed with such an rude service. We drove 2 hours from sarasota to try the food. First we dont know the product yo serve unless you explain to us, but clearly the server wasnt friendly and patient with us. Dissapointed. The lady that was at the door cleaning was very friendly, but the service from the younger server was bad.
Great place to eat Brazilian food and sweets!!!!
This bakery is amazing. I ordered a Brazilian breakfast sandwich and the bread was the best I have ever eaten. It was flaky, buttery and with a little crunch. The ingredients of our sandwiches were super fresh. I ordered orange juice and it tasted like they just cut open the fruit and hand squeezed them to make my juice. My husband ordered a parfait which had an amazing fresh milk flavor. Great place and super cheap! We ordered many items for almost free! Next time we are in Orlando we are definitely coming back!
Best brazilian bakery in Orlando, hands down. Excellent service and high quality brazilian food and snacks! Love it 🤩
Amazing Food, Service Not So Much. I give the food five stars all of the way. I came two days in a row I enjoyed the food so much. However the service just did not match the quality of food. It seems no matter what time of the day you go it will be packed so I dont mind waiting 30 minutes for food. However I dont understand why I waited 25 mins for bakery items that were right before my eyes. That made no sense to me whatsoever. Although its unlikely Ill come back to eat in Ill have to come back for bakery items and hope that I can have them put in the box as I order them as bakeries usually do. If you want cheesecake go when the restaurant first opens. Both days I came there was only one left and its super delicious. All other items were fully stocked.
The food was delicious and the staff is very friendly. It was my first time at a Brazilian bakery and they helped me choose the best items on the menu. Definitely recommend the coffee and all of the lovely treats in the case!
Ill return family next time. the place has a cool feel to it.
Nothing special... Better eat in your house
Food is amazing! Service is GARBAGE! WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE OF ALL BRAZILIAN RESTAURANTS IN ORLANDO! I been here countless times because of the food but every tine they’re rude. They NEVER smile, you say hello they ignore you. If you ask for anything other than the food they don’t do it or give you the looks. It’s not one, but many of the employees who are rude. Feels like they’re mad at you just for coming in. The girls that do the register are specially rude and unwelcoming. I’ll continue coming for the food but really hope customer service improves.
Around 10am I called them to order a cake and explained that I live far so, I would an ETA to stop by and just pick it up, they said 3pm and I arrived 3:35pm and nobody found “my cake” everyone was lost and they asked 20 minutes more give me the same cake that I could buy at the supermarket 😞NM
Had Brazil food..breakfast and lunch menuLoved the food
