Great place with lots of space to work with your laptop. There’s a parking lot to the side of the building so you don’t have to park on the street! Comfortable atmosphere with chill low volume music. The people working here were very friendly and happy to share the abouts of the shop. I ordered the Mocha Latte and it’s mediocre good, not too delicious just good. They put a cool design in my latte so I’m happy with it :) However, I came here to work on my laptop and it has been the perfect spot 🙌🏼
I was walking around a new area of town when I spotted this coffee shop. The atmosphere was very quiet and calm, none over the top decorations but some tempting desserts on display. I took the suggestion from the amazing girl in duty and went for a traditional Café con leche. The coffee was flawless, really reminded me of the coffee I used to have in my home country. Its good to mention they do have options for non dairy drinkers.I really enjoyed my time here, I wish I could have stayed longer so Ill definitely go back and try some of their innovative infusions with lavender. Cant wait to go back!
Loved it here! Visited from out of town. Barista was really nice and explained the name-your-price situation to us. Limited menu, but its real coffee made right. I was pleased they offered almond and oat milk. Atmosphere was pleasant. Several people were there working on laptops, etc. Outside seating available. Street parking.
Credo hosted a networking event for local entrepreneurs & they crushed it.Fantastic Environment & Terrific Coffee... Looks like Edgewater Drive has a go-to coffee shop.Jason L. This place is amazing. The cookies are fantastic and the lattes were all the PERFECT temperature with great flavor. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. I LOVE that it’s a name-your-price coffee shop, which is not something I have encountered before. Definitely a gem!
Grate coffee! Awesome costumer service! And such a good place to just come and get homework done. It’s great that it isn’t too quiet because I dont feel bad when I talk to my friends or w a study group. Dope place, much love!
Fell in love with this donations-only coffee shop at first sight is a restrained statement, as local art, music, as well as charitable events, are all featured in this simple and homey space downtown.Peaceful, uncluttered, and quiet location, allowing you to get work done or to even have a calm conversation with a friend in a creative neighborhood. No doubt that this is an extraordinarily place to be.Pay for what you want for the coffee you are treating yourself to. Take a look at the menu and see for yourself. Good atmosphere and good coffee for good cause, you betcha.
First time coming to this coffee shop on a whim. Overall nice atmosphere. Good ambiance though it can be noisy at times with many people holding work meetings here. You can pay within a price range (most menu items fall between $4-$6) and according to the barista, this name-your-price payment system allows them to work directly with the coffee farmers in South America. Good location, easy parking. I took off 2 stars because it was a little dusty, lighting was too dim to do any reading unless youre working on a laptop computer, coffee was decent but nothing spectacular, and the interior could use some maintenance.
Small selection of coffee and tea, but really nice atmosphere. Easy to sit and read a book or get some work done on one of their tables or couches. Mostly quiet space with soft background music. They serve in glass or ceramic mugs and cups if youre sitting in and offer to-go cups for those in a rush. Ill definitely be back next time I need a break from the office.
I love everything about this place. The idea of paying a donation for your coffee is great. When I was a student, I paid what I could. Now I pay more than the suggested price to support such a wonderful place.Great for staying all day to study or work and awesome staff to talk to who really care about the coffee and the people they meet.
Great ambient! Coffee and tea taste so good. And the servers are super nice. Love the way that they have everything put together decorations, seating and their concept. Why 4 starts? because I wish the place was a little bit bigger. But overall is excellent!
Such an awesome staff and cozy atmosphere. They were so accommodating to our large group get together! Blessings
The atmosphere was very dark and old, but not vintage. Musty smell in the entire place. The atmosphere missed the mark for me but thats just my preference. The coffee was good, nothing amazing but definitely good enough to stand without any sugar. I had a cappuccino and it was nice, you could taste the roast on the coffee. A bit far drive for me but if Im in the area I would consider coming back. Would give a 3.5 if I could.
I love the philosophy and setup of this establishment. We went in there on a whim and came out very blessed. The price-your-own drink concept helps to support the growers and distributors who supply the local business. The quality of the drinks were also fantastic! Well definitely be back!
This place is a cool concept and definitely worth supporting. Like any other business in College Park you may have to park somewhere else and walk because their parking is very limited. My only complaint is that I wish they brewed their coffee a bit stronger but thats just my personal preference.Cool place to work or study and sip some tasty coffee.
Great coffee, friendly staff, perfectly enjoyable atmosphere to pull up and get some work done.... apart from the internet. For a place that seems to welcome remote workers they could probably invest in internet that doesnt go in and out of service frequently.
This is the first location of a local chain of nonprofit coffee shops. Their coffee is excellent, carefully sourced from small farms in Central America, and the farmers get much more than Fair Trade prices.Roasted locally here.Downtown Credo supports a lot of local charities, especially for high impact projects.I love the relaxed vibe and I always run into friends. No food though... and not the place for a quick cup to go.
Name your own price for great coffee. Cool concept working directly with the growers. Support local
A not for profit coffee shop thats warm and welcoming. Inside is an eclectic atmosphere that draws you to sit and talk, but plenty of space Id youd rather read or study. Service is excellent and the coffee and tea are equally as good.
Love the coffee here! I especially love the homemade flavors that have to add in to you beverages. The “set your own price” is great, and a chance to give back. Remember to tip well too! Baristas are people too :)
Pretty cool experience. The parking situation is weird but you will just have to park and walk essentially. Payment is on the honor system, you pay what you want and they suggest prices for each item. Everything is technically a donation at that point. They have a few options for coffees and teas, and a few snacks as well. The inside is decorated nicely and there are seats and tables to chat, work, or just enjoy your drink.
Very cool coffee non-profit where you name your price. Cool new way to do things. If Im going to pay a high price for coffee it should be here for a good cause and not just be heading to the Starbucks CEO.
This place is great! I had an amazing latte and blueberry coffee cake that was delicious. I love that they are working with the coffee farmers and paying them a better wage. Well done! The barista was an extremely friendly guy, too.
Glorious coffee and love that its all going to a good cause. Good people & good coffee/treats. Vegan options 👍
I dont love that Im not able to get a mocha chocka java lava froo froo latte. But I get that thats kinda the point. Could you at least stock equal and offer some bigger sizes? What if you charges real prices for the bigger sizes and did pay as you will for the dwarf sizes?
Great well-balanced cold brew (and other coffee) in a nice bright setting. The payment model threw me for a loop - they have suggested prices but allow you to pay what you want, which is interesting.
The coffee here is delicious and the staff is super friendly. This coffee house is a definitely worth it. They let you pick the price and its worth the money.
Great local coffee shop! This place has a down home comfy vibe. Excellent for getting out of the office and focusing on a project. Service is friendly and cheeky. Oh and there is great coffee! Try the cortadito it is the best in town!
By far the best coffee I have had. They are a little bit slow when lots of people come in, but, the coffee is great. Parking can be rough when it is busy as they have only a few spots dedicated for use for them, all other spaces are dedicated to other businesses who will tow.
A non profit coffee house that does so much right in its business models and services. Truly a gem in a big city! The craft and quality put into the drinks, the venue, the reach into the community are the points worth noting. My only drawback is limited parking, but I dare you to find someplace like Credos that isnt worth fighting for the parking.
Had the best mocha I have ever had. Visually appealing; great design. Good amount of seating. It stands out with the donation based payment. Only wish they would be open later.
Great coffee. Hip atmosphere/vibe. Friendly staff. There isnt a set price for anything, you give what you want. They do have some suggestions if you dont have a clue (like me) on how much to pay. They also have a small room in the back of the store where you can reserve for parties. We had a bridal shower there.
Really nice cafe in College Park. Pretty cute area, but CREDO itself has a very nice atmosphere and really good drinks. Its donation only with a list of suggested prices. Cash or credit is accepted. Really nice place to chill and do work or read. Employees are nice.
CREDO College Park has a cool living room vibe that makes it a nice place to hang out. Its has big windows, a lot of sunlight and a variety of seating options. The only downside is that its a little loud if you want to go there to work. I also wish there were options for drink sizes.
This is absolutely the best coffee shop in town!! Authentic and down to earth its a far cry from the typical big business conglomerates like were all used to. I love supporting local small businesses like this, I could hang out here all day long.
Good coffee and tea. I love the business model here it is more than just a coffee shop. Its a great place to go to meet new people and get involved with the community.
Just plain WOW! First time here and love at first sight. Payment is a suggested donation and they beat any other coffee shop Ive been to hands down. The atmosphere is just as awesome.
The service here is attentive. This place has a great feel to it. I see why this place has so many good reviews.
Quiet, clean and neat place to spend my afternoon working on stuffs. Coffee is amazing and you get to pay however much you think its worth. Good coffee for good cause!
Great coffee shop with a donation style coffee pricing system. I really enjoyed paying extra when I was feeling generous and having the flexibility to pay less when I wasnt doing so well financially and well. Some of the couches need replacing though
Downtown Credo is a family. Its very welcoming and theyve really created a perfect place to study and work. I spend 3-4 days a week here working on various projects. Its also a non profit that pays their growers well above the standard rate. Support a local business and grab a coffee.
Good place for a cup of coffee. Wonderful, comfy cafe, yet hidden out from the very busy road. All the things are great tasting and also their behaviours are relaxed, entertaining, intelligent and arty. Love it here!
Downtown Credo is one of the best coffee shops in central Florida, hands down. The baristas are always great and helpful. The atmosphere is perfect for studying, chilling, or working. They have a great philosophy of being involved in the community and locally sourcing their coffee and desserts. This is a must stop in.
Always here for Alive ORL meetings. They are so kind and prompt for such a big crowd! Digging the vibe.
The mocha I had was definitely different, I didnt know how to feel about it at first, but in the end I dug it! I recommend you try this place if you want something different than Starbucks.
Best coffee at college park, love their system and the environment. They should have more options of snacks, maybe something healthy and tasty.
Such a great, relaxing vibe with inexpensive coffee. Great place to get some work done or just grab a cup to go
Great place to get work done, Name your price is great for the coffee menu. The story behind the shop is unique and their ideas for community is something special. Love this place.
Love it. Pay your price for coffee. Very BROOKLYN. (Should branch out) (:Awesome service, great coffee, lovely design and light.
I stopped here on the way back home from vacation, and it was very good. The coffee is great, the space is clean, there is enough room for everyone, and the staff is extremely friendly. I love supporting high-quality local businesses, and this is one of them.
Cortadito. If I could Id get it everyday.Great concept and space. More recently they added more table space, great for studying or working, little less so for finding a nook to catch up with friends in. No complaints, just recognizing whats in the space. Worth it I promise
Great coffee and vibe! The staff was super nice!
My favorite local coffee shop. Small town feel where the workers engage well with patrons. Cold brew is fantastic! It has 2 locations, one that feels like your granmothers house, and smells weird like it too. And one thats in Florida Hospital that is about as modern looking as they come.
Great atmosphere, excellent service, good value.
GREAT coffee shop. Espresso is on point. Clean roast with a same great notes. Menu selection is diverse as well. I highly recommend it.
I want to love this place. I really do! I like this place...a lot. The coffee is solid and the atmosphere is pleasant. I may not stay and spend a lot of time here but there is NOTHING wrong with a visit.
Best coffee in Orlando! Great atmosphere! Whether youre just going for a great cup of coffee or tea or to sit down and work you are sure to enjoy your time. One of my go-to spots and a must for any local or visitor.
Perfect place to get some work done or just read a book. Their coffee selection is pretty good too!
Honestly some of the best coffee Ive ever had. If youre looking for a chill area to explore in Orlando, and need some coffee along the way, stop here. The honor system makes you feel better about what you pay for coffee, and its not even that expensive. Ill be back.
I really enjoyed this coffee shop. The wait was a little long but the service was fantastic as well as the coffee. I would definitely be back.
Best coffee in Orlando. I will go out of my way to get coffee here rather convenient places like Starbucks and Dunkin. The coffee is incomparable and the environment is accepting. You decide your price of your item based on what you think its worth. I always overpay because I want this place to stay in business!! Sometimes the wait is a little long but the quality of the product makes it worth it
Great espresso! My wife and I both loved the seasonal Irish Cream latte! Had to make a second stop to buy a bag of their whole bean roast.
One of my favorite coffee shops in town. The pay-what-you-want scheme may be a little odd at first, but Ive come to really like it. Not because Im a cheap bastard, but because its just simpler (no loose change needed), and I always end up being a little more generous anyway. Its kind of weird, since i balk at paying $3 or $4 for iced coffee elsewhere, but dont mind dropping a $5 at Downtown Credo. Or $1 if thats all I have, but thats rare. The coffee is very tasty, and the space is well laid out. There are plenty of comfortable couches, as well as a lot of workspace for those who are writing the next great American novel.
This coffee shop is so quaint. You pay what you want. They also have almond milk for those like me that love lattes but cant have milk.
Downtown Credo is in few words, a highly accurate representation of the core coffee values that many coffee connoisseurs and third wave enthusiasts share. It is simply amazing and the values they stand behind still continue to resonate in my mind.
The CREDO shops have the best coffee in Orlando! They make absolutely perfect cortaditos!! This particular location has plenty of comfy seating and tables and is very laid back and surprisingly quiet even with a normal crowd.
The most delicious coffee is orlando hands down. This is one of my top coffee shops. When you crave the coffee you know it must be good. Great place to support
These folks make one of the best lattes in the city, and its worth the drive from east Orlando just to get one. Plus its a nice place to sit and meet with friends or get a little work done.
Amazing coffee shop! I’ve come here for years, and have even performed here once, and I absolutely love this place! The baristas are nice, the coffee is high quality, and the atmosphere is really good! Credo is very community oriented, and that’s probably one of my favorite aspects of the shop!P.S. I am a local Orlando artist. If you would like to check me out, I’m on Spotify, Apple, Soundcloud, etc. as “hunterdrinkswater.” Thanks for reading my review! God bless you!
The daily selection of coffee is great as I dont need 43 flavors to choose from...I tend to order the usual and this is a great place to hang versus chain stores. I also pay a bit more than at a chain because it is local and for the betterment of the community at large. Give it a try!
Great location, quiet and comfy (homey). Easily one of my favorite places to get work done in town.
Love this place first time came this place yesterday very awesome staff and snacks as well
Low key, organic coffee shop, they make it a point to deal directly with farmers, putting more money back into the people who actually grow the beans pockets. Its a comfortable atmosphere and a great place to read a book.
Just had drip coffee. Roast and bean are good...but brewed quite weak for my taste. If you are big into Bohemian this might work for you... Very friendly lady at the counter.
I give this spot two thumbs up. It has a cool feel to it.
Great coffee, great culture, great place to work for entrepreneurs and everyone in between. Highly recommend. Been coming since doors opened
Love this quaint place. Great coffee, staff, and environment. Great for small meetings or just hanging out.
I kinda did not understand what was special or great about this place which some “fancy” bloggers recommended. So average. Thank you, next
Imagine if the stereotypical American grandmother decorated your home. Thats basically the aesthetic of this place, yet behind just the looks, youll feel like home. The baristas become friends, other coffeeshop-goers become future collaborators. Credo is way more than just a place you get a great cup of coffee from responsibly grown crops, and its more than a comfy place to get work done; it becomes a cozy safe haven whenever you need it.
Lovely place but the staff won’t shut up. Have loud conversations with patrons obv friends and is impossible to drink a coffee in peace
Lovely little donation-based coffee shop. Awesome coffee, nice atmosphere. A favorite for studying.
The ambiance is just right. I successfully escaped from the world when I entered, ordered, and sat peacefully with my Americano.
Good coffee, good atmosphere, good people. Thats the easiest way to sum up the coffee shop. A 501c3 worth supporting.
One of my favorite coffee, and unique way of paying. The shop is very cozy and relaxing. The barista is awesome!
Very cozy cafe. Community based coffee shop. Pastries are also pretty good. Deff will go back.
Great coffee, bartistas, food, music and vibes. What more could you ask for? Ive been going here for the past four years, seeing it evolve and grow over the years. I love this coffee bar/cafe. My favorite drink of all is the cortadito. Its strong but sweet, smooth and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend it.
We got a drip coffee. Im a total coffee snob and it was middle of the road - not a huge disappoinment like most coffee, but I wouldnt rank it that highly. I expect the availavle pour-overs are a good bit better, probably worthy of 4 stars, but unlikely 5 judging by the drip. Id go back if I was around, but wouldnt go out of my way.
Only came in for a quick cup of coffee and found myself wanting to learn everything about the company. Social Engagement is everyones responsibility-and I love that Downtown CREDO exemplifies that.
Always great coffee and a nice place to work or study. There can sometimes be a wait, so make sure you have a few minutes to spare.
Great place with cool staff. Chill vibe. Almost too cool for me 🤓
Great coffee and a great place to study, read or relax. Pay what you want and know your money is going to a great cause.
The problem with this place is that the hipster children who work there are not consistent with anything. If you look over 30 I dont think they understand how to communicate with you. The girl with the bleach blonde, chin length hair with 6 inch brown roots is too busy flirting with her coworkers and when she finally does help you she is super unfriendly (Katherine) Unless you go to the location in the exchange be ready to wait at least 20 minutes for even the most simple drink. This is why I just prefer to go to Starbucks Their coffee may not be great but you can usually get at least one friendly barista and with enough sugar anything on the menu will taste decent.
