This is probably one of the most underrated places to eat in the Universal Parks. They really have some great options, everything from sandwiches to salads to even an açaí bowl! So it’s actually pretty healthy stuff, which is hard to find when eating at amusement parks and I really appreciated it. They have a lot of fun assortments of desserts and pastries as well, although you have to be careful what you pick because a lot of them are mass processed stuff so it’s not always great tasting or high quality. For example, the key lime tart, it had great flavor but the crust was super soggy because it sat out in the display case for who knows how long. But I got the avocado toast and that was fantastic. You have the option to get fruit with it too, which I’d definitely recommend over the potato salad. There’s a nice outdoor seating area too where you can just people watch, and it’s fascinating. They do have a dine-in option even though this says otherwise. You can also do an order through the app and they will bring it out to where you’re sitting and you don’t even have to stand in line. (All prices at theme parks are stupid high so I chose not to comment on that)
Ordered coffee.Staff: Super pleasant and politeProduct: Absolutely horrible, I would not get coffee here. Its served scalding hot, the entire cup feels dangerously hot, even the protective sleeve was insanely hot. It actually smells burnt.Pay the employees better and let them sit when possible.I wouldnt recommend this to anyone and wont come back.
I have a allergy and the manager and chef even came out to make sure that I was going to be okay with the food I ordered. I was not expecting that kind of care from a walk-up. Very appreciative that they kept me safe and even give me a replacement salad. I was happy to find a place with healthy options in the park. This will be my go-to if I come back to the park.
Thank you Victorious for awesome and friendly service! There was a helpful lady working also but I didnt get her name. Victorious was the nicest staff member I have encountered across Universal properties. My partner and I are vegetarian, and came here with my carnivorous grandpa. Everyone was super happy and satisfied with their meal.Heres what we ordered:The Carnegie Platter, I
Crisp salad and great flavors. They have wine, coffee and great pastries. I think it deserves 5 stars compared to everything else. The other restaurant I like in this park is Leaky Cauldron. Great food.
Great place to start your visit to the parks. The food is very good and the prices are affordable. Great coffee and cakes. The large monitors that adorn the walls are of course playing the Today show and the theming is spot on. Give it a go.
We visited Universal Studios FL this past weekend and had breakfast at Today Cafe and wow. The avocado toast was delicious and the Manager, Katie, was simply amazing. She checked up on costumers, helped the line move smoothly, restocked shelves, answered questions and just generally did an outstanding job. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a manager more attentive to her customers and her co-workers. Way to go Katie, you kept a smile on everyone’s faces. Thank you.
Food and coffee Excellent. Mad fresh to order
Went here for breakfast, the egg white Florentine was delicious! Comes with a cup of fruit and I think it was 8 or 9 dollars, not bad!
Wow!! Expected this to be great… ordered two sandwiches with no tomatoes, got one with one without. Wasn’t the issue. Issue was when I came back up they said they would make another….. 20 mins later nothing, went up to check on it and she didn’t even have it started…. Fruit hard as a rock. Only reason got 2 stars bc I did get a new sandwich but come on… expected better then this…
This morn around 10am, 1 oct, I had the worst black coffee! Its usually really good. It looked and tastes like they ran the water through the same grounds twice. Should have complained but it took a couple of hours to figure out what was wrong with it! They were super busy.
Love it. A bit over price.
Let me just say that this new cafe is amazing! I love the modern and simple look that it has. The food is amazing as well. Everything from the themeing and atmosphere is cool and inviting. The staff is very well trained and they have knowledge of all the menu items. I recommended this place for someone who wants a quick bite and doesnt want to be outside in the hot summer sun.
Received the best customer service I have ever had from Angela! She really went above and beyond to accommodate our very picky coffee needs. The pastries here are also fenomenal!
My family specifically sought out the Today Cafe due to its choices - fresher & more diverse than the typical fast food at Universal. Covid has placed a few restrictions line-wise which could fluctuate in the future. Wraps and dessert were tasty and fresh fruit side was a nice choice.
Stopped in for my first time to see what it was all about. Nice modern digs and a pleasantly vibrant atmosphere. Had the espresso, which was good. A little bit of coffee cherry notes to it. Seemed like a lot of delicious pastry options, some of which were vegan for those with dietary health or personal restrictions. Would definitely return to try some other menu items!
Totally inefficient. You order on the app but still have to wait in line to be seated to get your food when they could be seating people immediately that have ordered food on the app. There were 5 tables open and we were 6ft away but we had to wait to get to hostess before we got seated to get our food. Would not recommend to anyone
A huge improvement over the old bakery that was in this location prior, this cafe inside Universal Studios has a great selection of sandwiches, salads and pastries. I had the grilled cheese and appleSandwich and while it was very messy in preparation, it was good with a good selection of fruit in the fruit cup. Prices are high but normal for theme parks. You can expect long waits to order and then for your food, but it is a good option for something lighter to eat in the park.
Good food..nice variety
It’s neat and decent priced. Portion sizes are normal (not big). We had the almond croissant but was the last one (old and dry). They gave us 2 more new hot chocolate ones instead. They expressed good customer service though.
When I entered first, I didn’t like the way the server was answering my questions, she was just carless to my requests. So I left. But I didn’t find anything else around at the park entrance, so went back and another lady was so nice taking care of every question and request. The food and coffee were good. And seating where ok.The five stars is for that excellent lady who took care of our order.
The service is EXTREMELY slow, especially because the pandemic. The menu has little variety. And one waitress kept harassing my family and I because they didnt believe we waited in line. I highly recommend avoiding this restaurant.
A surprising collection of baked goods and menu options. If youve just entered the Universal park, eat here (although not right before any rollercoasters... Haha)
Good food, little thin on menu items to select from. The fresh fruit bowl was still frozen hard to the point you could not eat it. Price was a little high.
SLOW. AVOID. Universals capability to serve during the pandemic has been super disappointing system wide.Today Cafe is a perfect example of terrible service.
Maggie was extremely kind and helpful. She took care of my issue for me and my entire group. We were having a tough time and she was able to answer all of our questions.
Good comfort food, had one of the sandwichs...delicious. The team members were awesome and friendly and got the food real quick
Best walk in quick food spot that we had from all the Disney & Universal parks. Staff was highly attentive for starters & very helpful. All food we tried was fresh, tasted amazing & was good size to even share. If you order on mobile app, just grab a table. So much easier to order via mobile instead of waiting in line. Acai bowl was awesome but the bagels were top notch along with breakfast sandwiches. Nitro cold brew was on point with food. Staff associate did mention they get a lot of compliments on their food & she 100% right! Referred us to Lombards Seafood & Grille for later in the day & glad we did.
Good place for breakfast, but i dont really know about their dinners. Love the people who work there. They are so accommodating and friendly.
Food was surprisingly good and well priced to match! Clean inside seating makes this one of the better eaterys in Universal! Must try!!
Food was good and not priced bad for a theme park.
Great selection of sandwiches, salads and dont miss dessert!
I’m giving this cafe 4.5 because among all the mediocre food options at Universal, it actually manages to be relatively tasty and fairly priced. I’m not saying that the sandwiches are the best you’ll ever have, but especially for breakfast, you can’t go wrong here.
Service is horribly slow.Too many workers are just standing around behind the counter talking to each other. 2 orders were in front of us and it took over 10 minutes for them to pour 1 cold brew coffee.
Im rating this place 4 stars for theme park food. Theme park food is usally not good. This place had good warm sandwiches, we actually enjoyed.
Terrible customer service! Waited for 35 minutes with my fiance. 3 parties that showed up after us were seated before us. We ended up walking out. Avoid this place!
Slowly service EVER. I do not recommend at ALL
Love the bagel and other breakfast items.
Staffs were really really good..very friendly guysBut the food was a bit disappointing
Great food. Quick service.
Nice place, good food options especially for a theme park.
Minestrone soup was bussin
Slowest service ever. It took over half an hour to get two sandwiches delivered to our table.
Decent food, unreasonably overpriced!
Service was horrible.!!! Spend $30. They forgot to make our breakfast then messed it up twice. NEVER AGAIN. We still never got our correct order.
Desserts were yummy especially the guava pastry
This place was awful!! Had terrible service and the workers were harassing my family!! Never come here!
This place was slammed but every employee was cheerful and very helpful! The chocolate torte is overwhelmingly good!
If you like healthier food with unique ingredients and good flavor, this is maybe the only spot in universal. We ended up eating here a few meals because everywhere else we ate was awful, or overpriced.
First time we went here, it was truly amazing? The coffee and breakfast sandwich was delicious...That was about one year ago. We tried it again about a week ago and it was barely mediocre. We decided that it could just be a bad day and to give them another chance. We went there this morning and it was one of the worst coffees Ive ever gotten, no amount of sugar or creamer could mask the taste. Which does in fact bother me as we were looking forward to it very much when planning our stay at Universal Studios. We will not go again, and I certainly cannot recommend this establishment anymore.
Desserts are something you must try here, it’s just a no brainer. Sandwiches on the other side weren’t anything special, brisket sandwich was definitely something I wouldn’t go for again, dry and salty. Napoleon cake and key lime were a total delight.
Great spot for a quick bite and cup of tea!
By far the best cup of coffee I have had at Universal Studios. If you prefer coffee closer to home brew, this is the place to go. The sandwiches here were excellent as well.
Latte mixed with vanilla and hazelnut is AMAZING!
So easy to order from the Universal app & get it served to our table.
The worst experience I had, you pay absurd, the service is terrible, 2 hours of waiting and they brought the wrong order, they were rude and the worst place in orlando
Very SLOW. If you plan on getting things done, this is not the place to go to grab a bite to eat.
I like how they had alarms that would buzz when food was ready.Over priced food but its nice little sit down spot. There is a yellow car right outside for photo op which is pretty cool.
Ordered the mulberry sandwich, the sandwich would have been great if the bread was not as hard as a rock. Could not enjoy the sandwich at all. Maybe they should use bread that is not left out to dry up, even banged it on my table to see how hard it was. Too bad.
Only thing worse that the service is the food.
Quick breakfast stop while planning the day. Lots of characters at the corner so if you sit outside youre sure to see them.
Amazing food!
Very overpriced. Small soda is 3.99. I asked if the sodas were refillable and they said yes. Was sitting for a few minutes while my family rode some things. I asked for the refill and was refused. I said you should do it because I would never have paid that much for a small soda otherwise. Finally grudgingly got one. The rest was overpriced too.
The pastries are wonderful but the food is lacking. I was really excited to try the grilled cheese and apples then after a very long wait, I got the over toasted bread, most of the cheese was grilled out, the apples had no flavor. I was very disappointed. The deli sandwich didnt look much better. I will try it next time but it seemed overpriced for the amount of meat. Ive heard bad things about the potato salad but I didnt think it was too bad. Add some salt and pepper and its OK.
Very rude the employees except for the cashier Lynn. They werent having control of the door, and then the guy came very close to me claiming social distance in a very agressive way.
Salad was good but waited 25 min. for it and there werent customers at all
Great service, amazing food!
Lighter fare breakfast til 11 and New York deli style sandwiches, desserts, beer and wine. Counter service in a bright, cafe/film studio atmosphere!
Worst coffee Ive ever had. Plus theres was a huge roach inside. When I told the person at the cashier, whos name I wont mention, he ignored me.
Nice selection good coffee and nice seats
Very expesive, taste is fair or below average..I will advise any other place inside the park
I want to know who at Universal Studios thought this was a good idea? Who goes to Universal Studios and thinks, “hmmmmm, I’d love to eat at a Today Show themed cafe!”. But whatever, between this and all the Tv rides they keep pumping out, I can’t wait to ride “60 minutes: THE RIDE!” YAAAAAAAS BARBARA WALTERS SURRRRVE THAT TEA.
Bagels were stale and harder than a rock (I swear you could knock someone out with it) and the fruit wasnt even that fresh, I was hungry and mildly disappointed for the next few hours
Good food, expensive
Excellent service!
Ridiculously slow for a cafe. Avoid this place. The limited menu is not worth the wait
Not a fan of Fallon
Slowest theme park restaurant ever.... but friendly staff and ok food.
Clean food
Love avocado on everything!
Messes up order, blames you.
Avocado toast!
Had it for the first time Thursday for breakfast. Gave me food poisoning... wont be returning for anything on this menu
Terrible coffee
Very good, but the coffee I drank was not good at all
Very good and varied options
Reeeeee
