They need to have employees with poor attitudes doing something that requires less interaction with the public, instead of making them the first person you interact with when you walk in. I watched her be short and abrupt with other customers too. Also, this location will not give you the itemized breakdown of what they are paying you for each item. I went to the Waterford location and had a completely different experience and that information was readily given to me. The only reason they got two stars is the employee that ended up helping me complete my buy was a sweetheart and apologetic that she couldn’t provide me with the information I was asking for.

This was my first and last time going to this store. The moment I walked in the girl that was at the counter was very rude. I had told her the table you put your bags on had ants all over it and she acted like it was normal. Once I filled out the form and gave my bags to them I left and not even 5 mins go by I get a call saying they cant look at my bags bc it had ants on them. The ants are from the store not my house. There are much better stores to sell your clothes at dont waste your time here.

Wow, the manager at Encore was incredibly rude when I brought in my bag to sell. She continued to tell me my bag was in awful condition as my bag was in spectacular condition. When I compared my coach bag to the others on the wall, I couldn’t believe how noticeably cleaner and newer mine was compared to the ones for sale. She continued to tell me “it’s nothing personal” as if maybe it was. After I asked her if she could elaborate some more as to why my bag was suitable for consignment, she blatantly ignored me and continued to shove through clothes. This lady was mean mean mean. Bad attitude with no pride in her job.

I had an amazing time searching for interview clothes at this location. The women working were so nice, and helpful! I searched so many other stores for plus size clothes and Style Encore had the best selection by far!!!

For starters I work a 2nd job in retail so I get working with the public, but when i walked in to a store at 345, under the assumption they close at 7 like posted everywhere, i was a little shocked and embarrassed that the 2 ladies working today (may 19) were SO FAST to kick me out for an out-of-ordinary 4pm closure. I would never talk to someone at my retail job that way even walking in 5 min before closing... they couldve been a little nicer. This was my first time stopping in and I felt awkward leaving, the waterford lakes location has the friendliest staff so Ill continue to shop there but I wont be back to this store. Warning if you stop by... their hours arent true to whats posted online, and theyll definitely be ready to shove you out the door - and be on the defense ready to argue with you while doing it.

Ive been selling my clothes here for a few years now and never had a problem. Apparently now you have to bring the clothes in a plastic hamper bc of covid honestly of you guys are going to implement things like this then You should have some type of notice so that people dont drive all the way here and have to go back home. Seriously ridiculous

I have been shopping here for years and it’s my fave go to spot to find the latest and cutest clothes, shoes and accessories . I love how organized and clean it is and how the staff is always on hand to help you find something! That it’s connected to Once upon a Child which is my fave spot to shop for my kids is the height of convenience too!

I went to Style Encore for the first time today. I was so impressed. the store was so neat, clean and well organized. The staff were so kind, polite and helpful. I felt very safe in this environment and will definitely go there again! They had tons of merchandise! Very nice clothing and jewelry!

I went to this store today after they closed Clothes Mentor in Altamonte Springs. I was hoping I would find a good store. After I walked in, I knew this is not for me. Very dark room. Clothes and items were not organized well. Not visible signs. And last, OVERPRICED!!! Better find better deals on FB marketplace or online.

Prices are good and the selection is okay. They are over priced on shoes which is bizarre considering they are used. 😂 The people hired to look through your stuff are not knowledgeable on style and current trends so they rarely buy anything.

Style Encore is my favorite place to shop and the new location is truly a sight to behold! If you are looking for high quality, name brand womens clothing, shoes, and accessories, look no further! They have all brands, sizes, and styles--complete with high end items in gorgeous, like new condition. My favorite find is my beautiful Tory Burch bag! Admittedly, I have expensive taste, but Style Encore has allowed me to fill my closet within a budget. They have a huge selection of womens dresses, pants, jeans, shirts, blazers, jackets, accessories, shoes, scarfs and purses at low prices. The shirt Im wearing still had the original tag on it! My favorite part was the special treatment they provided with the personal stylist. For no additional charge, I filled out their style form via their Facebook messenger and made an appt with the stylist. They had 5-6 complete outfits paired with shoes and accessories for me to try on based on my size and style I was looking for. Although some didnt work for me, Kim was amazing and searched thru the racks for clothing that meets my style and body type.

I have been here a couple of times now since moving to Orlando, and the girls are always friendly and quick to go through my clothes! The offers on each of my items to sell have been very reasonable. I have also found great deals on name brands and cute styles! I love how there are different racks around the store dedicated to the most recent trends. You guys are awesome!

I’ve been to the new location a couple of times now and I’m reviewing my experience today. Came in to return an item and was met by a woman with a short hair cut and a very off-putting attitude. The entire time this woman made me feel unwelcome, did not smile, and kept an accusatory tone whereas the two other employees were very helpful and friendly. She made me an offer on the two items I came in to sell which I declined and was given a much better offer at Plato’s Closet right down the street. Unfortunate how one negative attitude can put a damper on an entire experience and view of a store.EDIT: Otherwise very nice store with wide selection of great items. Everyone’s experience is different, would still recommend!

This is by far the best style encore I have been to. Their store is bigger than the waterford location and in my opinion has a better selection. Im 30 yr old professional so I frequent pencil skirts and cardigans. Their shoe selection is the only thing I think could use some improvement but their sandals, flats, and bags more than make up for the slight disappointment in heel selections. This store is about 40 minutes from home and I already cant wait to come back and find more hidden treasures. They have Covid guidelines in place if you are selling, I wasnt able to sell because I didnt check them out before hand. Make sure you check it out if you plan to sell. I was told you can only make returns at their location since its not connected with others so keep that in mind.. dressing rooms are closed at the time of this review

NEVER SELL HERE. I brought my clothing in to sell after work today at 5pm was told it would take 40 minutes. I waited until 6:30 and they had not even picked up my bags to look at anything. Another lady came in and asked if they can look through her clothing really quickly (she came in 45 minutes after me) and they helped her looked through her clothing and she left. I left and came back at 7:30 before they were going to close. My bags were in the same exact place on the floor. The rude employees had not even gone through my clothes and my name was still not on the board. I asked if they looked at anything and they said they had and there wasn’t nothing they wanted to purchase. My bags were in the exact same order and had not moved from the place they first placed them on the ground. Terrible customer service and a complete waste of my time. Wish I could rate this 0 stars.

I always visit this well organized used clothing store. To my surprise, I found it to be a bit pricier from when I last visit 8 months ago. They claim they went green now so bring your own bag. Not as friendly as they used to be.. I won’t be visiting again.

Went to sell a basket full of Miss Me jeans and shorts. Was told it would be about an hour. Watched the employee pick up my items, but not even look at them. After waiting an hour they passed on everything- told me it wasn’t their style. Since when do high priced jeans go out of style especially when I see they still sell very similar jeans at buckle? It was my first time visiting this store and selling clothes to them and Im not sure Ill be going back. It wasnt very busy when I stopped and there were a fair amount of people working but they still said it would be about 30 minutes to go through one bag of clothes. So I walked around to wait and they proceeded to go though other peoples items, who came in after me, while I still waited, checking the board that said bags thats have been checked. No one bothered to put my name there or contact me another way and I waited an extra 10 minutes until I could get to someone and ask if my stuff was ready. It appeared to have been ready for a while...why have a board to inform people when they dont even use it. Kind of a waste of my time.

Perfect for women from young adults to working professionals. All sizes, great brands. I get almost all of my clothes, shoes, and accessories here - I always find something I love, and even if its a tad pricey by secondhand standards, its always a great deal for what you get.

I called ahead of time to see if they are accepting winter coats for me to sell one. The lady said yes. I drove to the store and the manager says I’m sorry we are overstocked in winter coats. I said but I called ahead of time about it. She said we are overstocked. I said next time tell your staff about what to accept if someone calls. It didn’t feel like she cared.Also, The sale items were mixed with items not on sale and it was confusing.

The women on staff here are terrific. They are not uppity like some girls who work at the sister stores Platos Closet. When bringing things in to sell, most of the time at least one item is taken. I understand they have to keep the inventory current.

Every time I visit I leave saying I’m not coming back yet something keeps bringing me back.While the store looks nice it’s not really pleasant to shop because there are way too many clothes crammed on the racks and it’s had to look at them like that. Also the higher and lower racks make it difficult to browse too because the angle is bad.Half the time I’m walking around with an armful of clothes and I have to flag down someone to put them in a dressing room so I can continue to shop.My last visit had sizes mixed together where they shouldn’t be.The jewelry is hard to look at as well because it’s also got too many pieces.Service is hit or miss too. Friendly, but I almost always have to engage first.Style Encore is a nice option when you’re a tad old for Plato’s and you don’t want the prices of higher end resale.

Very nice well organized store with courteous staff and that is the only good thing I can say about this establishment. My first time entering the store I brought in some items all brand new never worn, 2 pairs of designer shoes ( which I paid $100 each) a pair of jeans and 2 blouses and for all of my items can you believe they only offered me $19 SMH if you ask me this establishment is a complete rip-off! I would have been better off selling my items myself, to actually think youre going to buy my brand new hundred dollar pair of shoes for $3-$6 a pair and probably sell it for $50 or $60 I dont think so... I would have been  satisfied with $15-$20 a pair, I took back one pair of my shoes because they were just too beautiful to be given away for $6 and for everything else they gave me $13 sad sad sad, I really needed the cash so I accepted it but NEVER will I EVER visit this establishment again not even to purchase I refuse to support this rip-off store!

Love style encore! Was so excited to visit the new location... BUT..i feel like they left their politeness at the store across the street. When i first started coming to Style Encore it wasnt just the clothing or prices, it was the warmth of the employees. They were so helpful! Now, you dont get greeted. Seems like the employees are over it buy the time i get there. Yesterday an employee was sighing over frustration as she was putting clothing where it shouldve gone?? I had to look at her to make sure that wasnt directed towards me. Im definately not a fan the store now. I miss the old employees.

Today was the 2nd time I visited this store, and it was worse than the 1st.The 1st time, they said theyd text me when my things were ready, but they never did. When I went back a few hours later, my name wasnt on the board, but my stuff was ready, apparently. They didnt buy anything, which is fine, but I could tell they at least looked through it.This time, I brought in a large bag of clothes and handbags, as well as a smaller bag of clothes. I filled out the paperwork and was told it would take about an hour. So, I left and went back about an hour and a half later, and the same girl said my last name as I came in, and that it would be another 10 more minutes, someone was just finishing going through my things. So, I went outside then went back inside about 10 minutes later. My name was still not on the board, so I looked around the store a bit. After a few more minutes, I went up towards the counter and saw that my bags were sitting on the floor (probably where theyd been the whole time). I politely waited a few more minutes to see if the girl would say anything to me, but she didnt. Finally, she came over to the clipboard, near where I was standing, and highlighted more names. I noticed my name had already been highlighted, and when I saw her go the next page and start adding new names, I asked if my things were ready. She then asked another girl, who was entering things in a computer, and she said no. I began to explain that itd been almost 2 hours, when another girl rudely chimed in saying that their paying customers have first priority, and theyve been busy, etc. So I asked her when my stuff would be ready, and she said she didnt know. Meanwhile, the original girl said that my stuff actually was ready. Then another girl came over and gave me 2 coupons for $2 off, for my wait. I asked for my stuff and she asked what bags were mine, I told her, and she brought them to me. I asked if they were taking anything, and she said no, theyre overstocked. It didnt even look like anyone had gone through the items in my bags. There were no tags or paperwork attached to them either.Needless to say, I will not be going there ever again. Perhaps, they should take some lessons from their neighbors at Once Upon A Child, where Ive gone dozens of times, and who are always organized and timely, not to mention courteous.

I just went into this store for the first time. Immediately I felt welcomed by the staff. Such great prices and everything is a lot better than Platos condition wise. Very pleased.

So, I like shopping here, when I am looking for specific pieces. I do not like to go here just to browse, unless they are doing their clearance sale. Then it’s semi worth it.One thing I don’t like, is their criteria for purchasing. I come in with all types of clothing, because I recently moved and needed to purge. I had dresses, skirts, jackets, leggings (lularoe), shoes, jeans, shirts...etc.I can honestly say, everything was in great condition. No wearing or stains. Two items still had tags (gifts from mom I didn’t like). Brands ranged from, old navy, gap, lularoe, NY & Co, and more. So nothing fancy, but not what I would say is wal mart cheap. I had no expectations of them buying everything, but of the 20 items, they took two things. I was shocked. They said because they had too much stock. But I thought, with the move, they would be taking in more stuff.I basically feel like, they should clearly post, on their social media, what brands they want and don’t want. Stop letting people waste their time. It also kills me to see some of the hideous stuff they do buy but refuse good clothing because it’s not Kenneth Cole, Michael Kors or Diane Von Because there is some ugly stuff on their racks!All in all, I will continue to drop in to shop, but I doubt I will ever try to sell to them again.

I dropped a bag off for review, girl that took my bag acted like she didn’t want to be at work... secondly was not pleasant at all! Everything is unorganized and al over the place! This used to be our Friday go to stop in but the store is not the same since the move. The staff there now is unfriendly and unhelpful. It is now more like a goodwill than a boutique, gave it three tries after the move and each time more disappointed than the last....wont be going back :( The staff no longer helps with taking your items to start a dressing room, even went so far as putting my clothes on a rack to count like they do at Ross. They rarely leave the counter or interact with the customers. The store is disorganized especially behind the counter, dusty and dirty like the jewlery and sunglass racks, and the quailty of the clothes is no longer at the standard it used to be. I found things missing buttons, riped and pilled, and brands that did not meet the old standards for style encore. I miss the old store and staff a great deal.

My first time in this store and it was a waste of my time. I brought my very nice clothes for sale and they did not tell me the clothes had to be within a year. They told me I had to wait 45 minutes and then did not want to take any of my clothes because they were not of the year. I waited an extra 15 min on top of the 45 they told me because my name was not on the board. Everything in the store is too expensive for used clothes. Dont waste your time here. I am used to platos closet and they never did that to me there. Horrible customer sevice.

This place is a waste of damn time if your trying to sell clothes. The items I brought was either used once or brand new. There was no stains, rips or tears and was in season. They offered me Nothing and based off of what they claim they are looking for I brought those exact items. I see here they pick and choose who they want to buy from!!

My friend just had a birthday party at Style Encore and Monica and Sandii did an absolutely incredible job. Monica opened an hour early, made us homemade quiche and mimosas, and went out of her to make us feel so special and pampered! There was a dressing room prepared for each of us and when we got there with a variety of outfits based on our style profiles. Sandiis style picks were spot on for all of us and the entire staff was so friendly and helpful. I would recommend this to anyone for a birthday, Mothers Day, bachelorette parties, or for any other celebration.

I brought some clothes into this location for resale while doing some spring cleaning last week and was pleasantly surprised! I was thrilled with what they gave me for some clothes and shoes I simply didnt wear anymore. It was so much easier than consignment or e-bay, they give you cash on the spot for your items!While waiting, I had the opportunity to look through the store. I couldnt believe I found a Diane von Furstenberg dress! They also had some Jimmy Choo shoes that just came in (not my size, unfortunately) and lots of designer bags. The store carries high-end designer labels, but also everyday brands like J. Crew, Banana Republic, White House Black Market and Arden B.The prices are extremely reasonable and their merchandise is in great condition! The clothes are targeted for women in their mid-late 20s+. The entire staff along with the store owner are extremely friendly and helpful. They also offer fun store giveaways and discounts for frequent customers. I highly recommend and cant wait to go back!
