We were very pleased with this company for our whole house generator install with propane. All of their employees were very professional and helpful. Each employee took the time to explain all details of my generator propane install. Matt the supervisor performed the generator turn on and he was fantastic at explaining the process. Highly recommend this company!

Wish there were more than 5 starsdealt with Sean Sheldon, what a great experience. After calling many propane gas companies to purchase a tank in Anthony FL, I finally made it to Thompson Gas. Of the 6+ other companies I had spoken to, to get a price to purchase a 250gal tank, Sean was the only one to mention a 500 gal. and turns out the price was not that much different from all the other quotes for tank/regulators/delivery/first tank of gas/installation.Sean was extremely polite, professional and helpful, best customer service ever. Hard now a days to find good Cust. Srv., but Sean exceeded expectations. thank you Sean.

Daniel with Thompson Gas setup our initial tank set and worked with us on getting the appliances hooked up and checked. Very professional and a pleasure to work with. The office staff were very knowledgeable and helpful.We had trouble getting everything moved at one time, took over a month to get it all sorted out and Thompson Gas were very patient with our schedule issues.I fully recommend them for anyone wanting Propane service. I have never had such a positive experience with a propane provider in my life!!

I was happy to read all the great reviews.So I decided to go with them to install a tank for our whole house generator.So far the process has been a painful one.Communication between Thompson gas and it’s customer is something to be desired.They did not tell me the install date until I asked,Unfortunately the day the install was supposed to happen the tech called in with a fever I hope he’s feeling better however they never called me to let me know the install would be delayed. I had to call them when no one showed up an hour after the time they said they would arrive. They did not tell me when the rough in inspection would be, I had to look at the permit myself only to find it failed.I called them about the failed inspection and they assured me someone would be out the very next day to correct the issue, no indication they corrected anything. My wife works at home all day she didn’t see anyone either.I am hoping they read this review and really fix these issues due it having a domino effect on getting our generator started up.They are holding up the progress on completion of our project.

There was an issue with our gas monitor / app they just installed last month during a fill up. For some reason the monitor didnt automatically alert to schedule a refil when the level fell below 30%. I called out of frustration and spoke with Sean who was very polite, patient, and extremely helpful. Because of the error in digital monitoring set up, i was almost out of gas at 14%. Per the app it should automatically scheduled to refill once its below 30%. So i assumed the tank would be refilled within the week, but it wasnt. So i called office in a panic to find out what the issue was etc. I was frustrated that I couldnt use the spa because we were almost empty without a warning or auto refil. (We are use to using our spa every evening since the née monitoring app)Sean spent time trying to fix the glitch of auto refil issue as well as attempted to RUSH a truck out ASAP to fill us up. He told me possibly same day but for sure next day. I barely hung up the phone with him and our gas was FILLED ! I was in shock. Elated ! Long story short....Sean told Kelly L of the error/issue and somehow Kelly was able to get a hold of a truck in my area ASAP. I so appreciate Sean & Kelly caring enough to fix my issue ASAP. I usually dread calling utility companies with issues, especially gas companies. So i was prepared to be disappointed and frustrated . Instead i was OVER THE MOON IMPRESSED how much they cared and valued me as a customer. THANK YOU !THANK YOU !THANK YOU SEAN & KELLY. This was the orlando florida location.

After one year they proved they are scam, fraud. I believe whoever gave them good reviews based on few weeks experience. All of them saying sorry. They are very game player to make money. Professional bad people do not do not do not do not do not do not trust them.

We dont recommend this company. Weve been using them for a while and are so disappointed with their poor customer service. Weve had a gas leak for over a year and we cant even get them to come out and fix it. They have scheduled us to look at it, and then dont even have the courtesy to call and say they are not coming. This has happened multiple times and now they are saying they dont think they can come at all? Like what? You are our Propane provider and you are not going to fix a leak ? Look elsewhere!

My name is Jasim. I got new residential gas service with Thompson GAS 02/032020 60 Galon tank. We are 4 people just cooking food. They gave me very old tank gause not working. They told me after 2 month they will replace but not. I called after 6 month they said they ordered not received yet. I called again same story. June 20th 2020 I was out of gas. They delivered gas for $165.65. Today November 25th Thanksgiving day I am out of gas halfway cooking. There definitely fraught with me. I hate There service. Believe me it real story. Think readers my situations.

Recently purchased a generator and Thompson Gas was with us every step of the way. With a few hiccups they never left us waiting. In fact, Joe (the owner) was always available when we needed assistance, Melissa (office staff) smiled everytime we spoke and the rest of the crew was readily available to complete the final process of our generator working. I would highly recommend their professional service and knowledge to anyone.

I would NOT recommend Thompson Gas. I’ve had them for my gas company now for less than two months and I regret going with them. They’ve stood me up multiple times when I’ve had appointments with them to hook things up and set things up. They’re terrible about calling back when you leave messages. You have to call them time and time again to get any kind of response.

We have had good service overall and when there was a problem, as sometimes happens, Thompson Gas resolved the issue equitably and efficiently. Norm is the man! My parents had a whole home generator installed with propane hook up. The technician Danny was quick professional and was very knowledgeable and courteous. We are happy with his service and the service Thompson gas has provided. We highly recommend them to do any service work.

I went there and met someone call Chase he was a good guy and good helper and was very helpful I would recommend Thompson Gas to everyone.

These people are really on top of things. The staff is very easy to deal with and understand the customers schedules. I had called to schedule the tank installation and after a day I had not received a call back but when I went out to talk to the electrician, the gas guy was out there installing the tank 🙃

Promised a low rate and raised it every delivery. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

Signed proposal in February, contacted sales rep a couple of times to see what the hold up was. Finally began work in June. no reason or apology given. Nobody seemed to know what was going where. I feel like I had to be the project manager. Every installer that showed up had to have me explain the whole project to them. Sales rep Chase couldnt tell me where he had quoted the water heater going. He ended up being quite rude. The installers put it where I had said I didnt want it. Installer showed up unannounced on day. Another day they said they were coming and didnt. Really this confusion went on and on. Never do they admit fault, nor was any kind of discount offered for the dozen fumbles they made. Would not recommend nor will I use again.

They did a nice install. Had to call them for service and they were very responsive. Showed up the same day I called to adjust the regulator. I always worry about service after the sale, but they impressed me with their quick response .

I love Thompson Gas. I was with another propain company and every 2 months when they would fill my tank the bill was OUT RAGIOUSLY EXPENSIVE! With Thompson I know what my bill is going to be every month. or 2 months. I do not leave reviews unless I truly like the company or items from the company.

ThompsonGas and specifically Matt Dreyer came to the rescue to resolve the issue with my GE gas stove. GE kept trying to fix the problem to no avail. Matt made a service call, diagnosed it, order the new part, and fixed it. Bravo to Matt and Thompson gas.

They never came after missing work to wait in the window frame they gave me. And still waiting for their call. Disappointed

They are irresponsible. They make you lose a day of work.
