Awesome location - always clean and organized with the MOST helpful people. Every employee Ive interacted with has been friendly and knowledgeable. Even going above and beyond to help me with extra research when i wasnt sure what I needed and carrying heavy awkward items out to my car.

After buying a stilh weedeater about 6 months ago and saying that it was under warranty for the next 12 months. After bringing it with a broken handle and they acknowledge the service and warranty. At pickup customer servixe charged for the service accusig me of intent to damage. Store has below standards client service. BE aware of Manager and service representative not honoring any warranty. Do yourself a favor an avoid local shop. Lack professional. Never will I shop again in Ace Hardwate Lake Nona.

First class store and customer service. Staff are friendly and professional. Their Stihl product service center is too notch as well. On a recent visit, Jay repaired my Stihl Power equipment while I waited and has me back on the job the same day. Cant say enough good things about this store and its staff. Superior customer experience compared to the big box stores!

Worst customer service ever. They gave me the wrong paint and refused to correct their mistake…I bought 10 gallons of Benjamin Moore…had to ate their mistake but that’s ok…I went to sherwin Williams got new paint and I will never come back to ACE! They lost a client for life for $600 bucks..

Discriminatory managers/owner as well as Bait & Switch practicesI go weekly to buy pool supplies here in LakeNona and have a loyalty card that currently has all ten punches punched out. Went earlier this week and purchased another chlorine refill, but before I arrived back home it was taken from the back of my truck while shopping at Sam’s.Stopped back by and explained to the same cashiers what had happened and she apologized to me and said she would help me buy another. She noticed I had a completed loyalty card and told me she would also help me utilize it as well. Suddenly she said that she was not allowed to sell me one of the 7 refills sitting in font of this store. I asked her why, as well as, to please check with the MOD. She did and the MOD refused to sell me one.I must assume being a loyal guest with purchases that include chainsaws or XL Big Green Eggs and weekly visits are not qualifying reasons to sell me a 2.5 gallon container of chlorine.The MOD stated she would not sell me one because the ones in front of me were only for other guests that come in & not me. I explained my circumstances and she still refused to sell me one. I showed her my full loyalty card but she did not care.Made 3 attempts to contact the owner and he was not interested in resolving these opportunities as I did not receive a call back.Refusing service or sales to loyal guests is not a good look in a extremely competitive market.Furthermore it is unwise as well as unlawful to discriminate against peopleShocked that this knowingly happens in the Nona HoodDano

First went to the Avalon Ace in search of a hard to find item that only Ace carries, and had less than impressive results. Ended up at Lake Nona Ace as it was the next closest with the item shown as in stock. Walked in and very quickly found the item. Browsed some and found a bunch of other odds and ends that not many local shops carry.Great store with some hard to find stuff at decent prices. Clean & organized.

Absolutely First Class! Like hardware stores use to be. Personal attention that is from people who will be there next time, will willingly tell you everything you need to know. They assembled this Bad Boy and brought it to my house. These guys and gals at Ace know what they are talking about and try to make sure you walk out of the store with what you need. It’s truly like the Hardware of old. “ACE is the place!”

Very helpful and go the extra mile! Gift wrapped an item I purchased in their gift shop without even being asked. All staff very friendly. My first time but I will definitely be back.

Always clean and well organized which is what I love about Ace hardware, this is a newer store so its pristine. This particular Ace is usually pretty slow in terms of amount of customers coming in compared to other area Ace hardware stores. Still the same satisfactory amount of help and assistance when you need it. 👍🏼The online inventory is a little wonky, showing that they have certain items in stock when they actually dont, but thats like that at most major stores so its not that big of a deal.

Always helpful. The apparently higher prices are not higher and actually cheaper than large stores when you take in to account how easy it is to get help and just get what you need/want.I.e. a key seems more expensive..... but not true as I never had to get back to repeat or complain.They work good or they don’t do it I believe/experienced.But the same with tools and not to mention hardware.

Went in looking for two specific bolts.(3/8X24x1) If it wasn’t for me grabbing a ice cream at the end I would’ve been in and out in less than a minute. I was greeted immediately, and the sales guy new exactly where the bolts were! I was actually impressed on how fast, efficient, and helpful it was! That’s why I like going to ace their guys are super knowledgeable!

Horrible customer service! Dropped my mower off over a week ago to get an estimate and called the next day to find out it would a week before they could look at it. I told them I mayhave to come get it because that was too long. I was able to get my grass cut so I did not pick it up. That was a week ago. Now I call and they did not look at it because I said I may come get it. Now have to wait another week before they will even look at it. Dont you think after almost a week they would call to see if I was coming to get it. So much for your local neighbor hardware store! Never going back!

Ace IS the helpful place. They go out if their way to help customers. I have forgotten about Big Box stores unless I am going to build a big bix.

I just wanted to share my personal experience at Ace Hardware. I noticed my flat tire this morning after dropping my son off at the daycare in the Ace Hardware plaza. I went into Ace Hardware and asked if someone could help me put the spare on and Steve said yes without any hesitation. He went to the back, grabbed Jay and tools and I followed both guys to the car where they kindly helped me with my car. The spare ended up being flat and so they had to put the tire back on and put air in it for me. They were so kind, helpful and efficient. I feel so grateful that they were there to help me without any hesitation. They are the true definition of superior customer service. Thank you Steve and Jay for all of your help this morning!

I had a pleasant surprise this Christmas dealing with Ace at Lake Nona after I was gifted with a really awesome grill! Steve and the staff at Ace went above and beyond to have it setup and ready to go for me, going above and beyond to make sure it was here on time the very next day.They personally contacted me to set everything up, I barely had to do anything, the experience could not have been better and it really made my holiday to have this grill as a total surprise. I wont hesitate to reach out to them again and shop at this location....theres definitely a level of professionalism with the team at Ace Lake Nona that will keep me going back.Thanks again for making my holiday, I cant wait to fire the grill up !

I agree with most reviews that the customer service is great and the store is clean. However, It is Pricy! Be prepared to spend more money for items than at Lowes or Home Depot. I can no longer justify shopping here to support local business. I just got financially raked thru the coals buying items here, where there is a Lowes less than a mile away. I am sorry Ace Hardware.

ACE is ‘the’ place...really rings true here. These guys & gals are great. Recently remodeled our kitchen & made countless runs to ACE - usually at the last few minutes of the day to get something critical to making progress. Even at 1 minute until they closed they welcomed me in with a smile & helped me get right what I needed. NOT my experience at the cavernous BIG BOX stores where you can practice hearing your voice reverberate back to you.....hellllo...hellllo...is anyone there....there...there?!?

I bought a hammer that broke 3 weeks after buying it, I wasnt even working hard with it. I had the receipt, but that wasnt good enough. Didnt even allow me to exchange it for another one, much less offer to refund it. Seems like they dont stand behind the tool guarantee they advertise on their website. Customer service representative provided no options to resolve the problem and didnt seem bothered to help :(Save your time and go to Home Depot instead! They will respect you and your time.

Ill go to Ace Hardware instead of a giant store EVERY time. Ace has everything you need and its actually where it should be displayed. Not like the giant home stores where you need to walk 1/4 mile to get two items that are used together. Ace has very helpful and friendly service and I have NOT waited in line one time when checking out. They also have a points reward system that give back to you - its a good one.

The Staff is very friendly and helpful. While they can not compete in price with the large box retail home improvement stores, they make up for in knowledge and helpfulness. I prefer to spend a little more when getting correct information, the first time, the value is time saved in not having to go back because got wrong part. Overall my first place to visit when need advise of suggestions on a project.

Ace is the place. I walked into this Ace Hardware store and announced that I needed a solution to a repair challenge. Immediately, Steve dropped what he was doing to help me resolve the repair problem I had. He treated me with respect and not condescension which I really appreciated because I have some experience with repairing and restoring things and I wouldnt have asked for help if it had been an obvious fix.I like that at Ace you can buy nuts and bolts individually, you dont have to buy a 20 pack if all you need are two washers.If I want to browse or if I know exactly what I need, they dont bug me asking if they can help, but they are always friendly and have time to chat. As I mentioned before, Ace is the place!

Got told by a big box hardware store that the small screw I wanted “didn’t exist.” Popped in here and the man found them right away and then gave them to me free of charge since it was such a small item. Customer service can’t be beat.

I have been a fan of Ace for decades. The reason that I use this Ace, besides proximity to my house is the staff. You cannot get the quality of Knowledge and experience that Ace people have.If you want big box mentality, by all means go to Home Depot or Lowes. if you want fast in and out,and people who know where items are....not to be cliche, but Ace is the Place.I dig Ace lake Nona

Love our new Ace Hardware!! The people are awesome..Phil & Mikala are terrific!! They have a great area for women to shop in the front corner of the store. Fun, pretty and unique gifts.

The staff is extremely helpful unlike other big box stores. Some of their stuff may be a few bucks more, but I dont mind paying it for the excellent service. They also sharpen lawn mower blades!

Helpful place as they say on their commercial. I went there to get a repair part for a leaky toilet. One of the sales associates was ready to help and provided counsel on what to get for the repair. I will come back.

Its a showcase of tools for the DIYer and pros with friendly, helpful associates to help you find what you need and get it quickly so your not wondering or wandering the aisles loosing daylight. I like that you can buy the quantity you need and not forced to overbuy a dozen of an item when you only need two! Looking forward to their line of rental Stihl Pressure Washers down the road next year.

Never Use Lake Nona’s ACE Hardware and interact with Assistant Manager STEVE, here is why; on 3/12/2019 I decided to call the store because I needed to make a decision about my lawn edger due to its struggle to start. Since I had to repair or purchase a new edger, I wanted to find out from ACE what was needed to take a look at my edger before deciding. The person that answered the phone told me that in order for them to take a look at it that it would be $30, they would call me in a few days to tell me what was needed to be done to it, then ‘if’ I decided to fix it then my $30 would apply to the final cost of repair. Now my problem with Lake Nona ACE Hardware and Assistant Manager STEVE, I decided to take my lawn edger in for evaluation on 3/13/2019 for the $30. Then, on 3/20/2019 my wife asked me if I’d heard back about the status of our edger, curiously I told her No. So, I drove by and asked Jay (the employee who actually does the service) about my lawn edger and after he searched through a stack of papers that seemed to be work orders for customers with other pieces equipment needing service. Jay told me, after taking my work order sheet of paper from near the bottom of the pile, “you are next in line”, huh!Then, on 3/23/2019, my wife called since our lawn started to look un-manicured, once got someone on the phone she let the person who answered know that she was concerned because we had yet to hear anything about our lawn edger. They told her that they would find out what was going on and someone would call us back, that callback never happened! Then, on 3/27/2019, STEVE called and left me a voicemail letting me know that they were ‘finish’ with my lawn edger. My first thought was, “how could they be finish with my edger when no one called me to approve any repairs’, because we were still in the decision stage of buying versus repairing.So, after borrowing a neighbor’s edger while without our edger, I went by ACE on 4/2/2019 to pick up the edger to find out I had an additional $40.28 added to the cost of repair of an old edger. Before I paid it, I felt compelled to let the management at ACE Hardware Lake Nona know the flaw in their process when providing this service to customers. STEVE was the person they called to the front of the store to speak with me. I told STEVE my concern that no one called me before they repaired my edger and his solution was…” we can take all the parts out that we put in it and give it back to you not working because it wasn’t cranking when you gave it to us”. After looking at him confused and telling him that he must not have cared to hear anything I just said, I told him that his response was very upsetting. One, because they did not give me the opportunity to make decision on if I wanted to take that additional $40.28 and put it towards a brand-new lawn edger which more than likely would have been purchased from that store. With my frustration and STEVE’s lack of caring, I asked STEVE; “if my neighbor asks me where to take their lawn equipment should I say NOT to Lake Nona ACE Hardware because they will just charge you without asking if you wanted the service or not?” STEVE started to change his tune and point the blame with excuses, that frustrated me more so I paid that money and stormed out unhappy. I was unhappy because being an 18 year resident of the Lake Nona area, I wanted to used the smaller community retailer to support outside of the big box store but Lake Nona ACE will not get any more of my support and I will surely let those who consider using this store and service know that they should reconsider Lake Nona ACE Hardware as an option because they will treat you how they want to treat you not how you should be, especially STEVE!

Not my favorite hardware store. Home Depot has better selection and Lowes is opening down the street. I used to really like the helpfulness of the folks, but their return policies are very restrictive and their prices are high.

Came here to get some supplies to fix some sprinklers and the staff was able to help me straight away and give advice as well. Great location, parking is never crowded, hours are fair for when I get off work at 5:00 I can still make it there if needed.

My husband bought a refurbished weed wacker from this store yesterday and it would not start once we got it home. When we went to return it they said they did not want to return it bc they did not have the product brand in store. After debating that we had bought it only yesterday and it doesn’t work, they decide to “give” us half of our money back! Are you guys for real? Giving half the money for a product that doesn’t work? I’m confused? Is this really how business works? You buy a product it doesn’t work, and then refuse to reimburse for the full product. I’m sure you all will be taken over by Lowe’s down the street with customer service like this. We will be contacting the credit card fraud department for the full refund. This is unacceptable.

Very friendly and helpful staff, worth the slightly higher prices compared to Home Depot & Lowes. If only they were open a bit later, it would have been 5 stars, but when they close at 7pm I can barely make it there after work.
