Great service! We came in to have a lamp required and were out with the fixed lamp in about 15 min. Fair pricing and a little basket of toys to keep the kids occupied. Can’t recommend enough!

I took my grandfathers chandelier in to be rewired. They added a length of chain so I could hang it from my cathedral ceiling and replaced the sockets. It came out wonderful, thank you so much.

Took a lamp in for a new switch. was told 18.00. I said ok. when finished was told plus 18 in labor also plus 1.00 for wire. end price 39.38. Be careful here, get all in writing first. Or go to LBU Lighting. I called them after, same price for switch and free labor.

The young men who work are delightfull. I brought in two table lamps I ruined. And they set out to fix them immediately for ten minutes for only $21. I knew it would be more challenging and would take more time. Had a wonderful time, and did not want to leave. But my new lamp is fixed better than new, and with a second and better switch. They will fix and donate to Habitat for Humanity my other old lamp. They lit up my life.

Took an antique table lamp to be rewired. The store owner personally did the repair. He damaged the lamp and replaced the damaged piece with an incorrect one. Sadly, the lamp can no longer use some of its original parts,, lowering the value of the lamp.

I have two antique lamps that belonged to my Grandmother. They are beautiful but the shades were huge and dated. Riley took excellent care of my lamps. Shortened the neck and replaced the sockets. I was able to find lamp shades that complimented the lamps and gave them the updated look they needed. There were no other stores that had the selection or size that I needed. Riley was a pleasure to work with but Alyssa was horribly rude, even a bit scary. She was yelling at her co-workers in front of customers, while she sat behind a desk on her phone and it was extremely uncomfortable. The work was completed while I waited which was great. Fortunately she left for lunch while I was there. They are a one of a kind store and I am so happy with the quality of the work. Riley deserves 6 stars! But the experience was made very uncomfortable by the rudeness of Alyssa.

I visited this shop because I had a lamp in need of repair. I was warmly greeted after entering the store and a technician immediately began troubleshooting my lamp. Apparently, the problem was very easily remedied and after a couple of minutes the technician declared he had completed the necessary repairs. I asked how much I owed and he said it was on the house. I did not expect the repair to be pricey, but I also did not expect it to be free. I will definitely return for all of my lighting needs in the future. Great customer service!

Riley was very professional and courteous. I went to Lamp and Shade Fair Inc to replace the socket on my lamp. Riley changed the socket for me and had me out the door within minutes. I will definitely recommend and continue to do business with Lamp and Shade Fair Inc.

LSF has repaired at least a half dozen lamps for me and supplied parts for other lamps that I repaired myself. They have always been professional, courteous and honest, especially when discussing whether an item is worth repairing. Ive been a customer for about 5 years, ever since another shop closed suddenly. Highly recommend.

I had such an awful experience at this store!MANY people since have had the same kind of dealings with this snobby store!The sales person was so RUDE that I actually asked her if I was putting her out by helping meI started my day as a happy shopper looking for14 shades and was blown away by her attitude!I found a lovely new store on Corrine Drive that appreciated my business.

We ordered shades in July....JULY! And they still aren’t here. We continue to get a huge run around from them. They won’t admit that they just forgot to order the shades and now their covering their track with ridiculous claims of “back orders”, “snow in Mississippi”, “ones here, the other isn’t”....I would never trust this business. My next call is to the Better Business Bureau. Unbelievable.

Riley was awesome. I dropped off three pendent lights from a house fire to be restored and they came out better than I brought them in. I cant imagine there is a better place in Orlando to have repairs done.

Totally happy with Riley Meek for the restoration of Art Deco lamp handed down in my family since the 1920’s. True craftsman.

We recently renovated our kitchen, and bought mini pendants that were to be hung with rods. Due to our sloped ceiling, we needed to be able to adjust the length more than what the rods would allow so that the two pendants would hang at the same height although they were going to be hanging from different heights. Riley (sp?) was extremely helpful. He changed out the rods for a chain, to the point that the lights look like they came with a chain. For a small fee, Riley even came out to our house (in Clermont) and hung them, adjusting the chains as needed due to our sloped ceiling. if it werent for this company and Riley, we would have not been able to hang the lights, as i called many other companies and no one else had a solution for our issue. While we could have bought other lights, we really wanted the ones we picked and Lamp Shade Fair made our lights work.

I ordered some shades and called to check on the shades one month later and was called back by Store and told that the shades would not be in for another month but that they could receive the shades from another source for an additional $5 a piece. Needless to say this made me upset so I told them to decrease my order from 3 shades to 2 shades. I thought the order was placed and that I would finally receive my shades in about 2 weeks. Then, about 1 week later I received a phone call from the store and was told the shades still could not arrive for another month. I finally cancelled my order. I am now waiting for the payment that I made to be refunded. I have a feeling that this will be yet another issue. I would not recommend this business.

Took my fragile 1930’s antique/milk glass lamp for rewriring and they broke it right before my eyes. the base of the lamp was being unscrewed from the bottom by the employee and due to manhandling the upper glass part shattered— this never would have happened at ‘simonet’ down the street (and sadly now closed)
