Barry and staff are always extremely polite, friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Theyre quick to give advice and share their knowledge. They give that feeling that youre family. Love supporting a small business, that has and sells quality products and manages to keep stuff at a reasonable price.

Best customer service Ive had in a long time. They took the time to help me find the right boots cracked jokes with me and made it an absolute pleasure to be in their store. I cant recommend them highly enough. Fantastic people all around.

Super nice western shop in rural Maine. It appears they have everything; service for expensive hats, used and new saddles, tack, clothing, etc. Smells wonderful. Owners are super friendly.

Knowledgeable and patient, Barry spent a significant amount of time with my grandson finding the right saddle with the right fit and then set it all up for him. They had a good selection of other gear as well. It was worth the 2 hour drive and I will certainly go back.

Love this place. Great cowboy/girl boots, horse care/riding supplies, leather restoring /caring products you cant find locally and great staff and owners there and ready to help. I swear Im a real guest that just was so stoked about this place Ive been a couple times since discovering a week ago. My honey found a great Resistol shirt and is eyeing some Cowboy cut Wranglers and boots. Its seriously the best Western in Maine.

I contacted Gass to see if they would clean and block my Fedora. They perform this service primarily for western style hats and frankly, its not a service many places still provide. They did a fantastic job on my hat. It had been left in the attic for some time. It needed a thorough cleaning and reshaping. Despite the fact that they didnt have a block for re-shaping the Fedora, they were able to clean it and they re-shaped it by hand. That is a process that requires a bit more skill. I am so pleased. Additionally, their shop has a great selection of western wear and gear, at very reasonable prices. The best in the area. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Doing business with Gass has been a pleasure. I would recommend them highly!

Went in to get boots for my son who shoots cowboy action and fast draw. They had just what he wanted, and they were on sale. The staff was friendly and helpful. I ended up getting myself a hat as well. Saw quite a few things I liked there. We will definitely be back.

The owner, Barry, and his staff are so nice and very helpful. I was ordering over the phone and was torn between two saddles due to size and weight. They measured both and compared the weight, they even had an employee that is petite like me pick up both to see if there would be much difference in getting the saddle up on my horse. They shipped the saddle to me very quickly and it was well wrapped and boxed. I dont normally write reviews but it was such a pleasure dealing with them that I felt I had to share my experience. I would definitely purchase tack from them again and would recommend them to anyone.
