This place has been my go-to place for coffee, wine and gifts since I moved to the area in 2013. From high school to graduate school Ampersand has always been such a comforting hometown spot that I highly recommend to anyone! The espresso drinks and pastries have my heart- SO GOOD! If youre thinking about going- do it!

I love and appreciate this store and the owners/employees. They’re super friendly and easy going. Firstly, just want to say they make the best lattes around. The salty turtle nut latte warms my soul. They have a great selection of wine, gifts, cheese, homemade bread and pastries. Local jewelry, gifts, clothes, knickknacks, kitchen items, candy. The list goes on. The prices are fair and I always end up leaving with a bag full of stuff that I would have ended up going to hannaford for later.

Coffee here is really good. Must try the everything cookie and the peanut butter and jelly cookies!!

Came here for the first time and ordered a nitro iced coffee. It rang up as $4.26. I pointed to the sign which said $3.50. The girl said the prices have increased to $4. I said you should update your sign then. She seemed perturbed but wouldnt honor the advertised price. I wont be back. I wouldve gotten a smaller size or nothing at all. This is clearly a store for yuppies and women.

I work at a coffee house that gives an employee discount and I still rather visit this store for an assorted array of latte flavors and oat milk. The customer service is north of ordinary, it helps me appreciate the culture around living with a community. In fact, I’m anticipating my next visit tomorrow after work. I hope the chocolate croissants stick around until 13:00?

Really nice little General store with coffee, baked goods, candy, housewares, and lots of local products. We stopped and had a cup of coffee and the kids played chess for about 40 minutes. It was a very nice unhurried morning. and the folks running the place is quite nice as well. I would definitely come back next time Im in Maine.

10 years ago, The Store was in a tough spot. Even with love and care, years of operation had taken a toll. Yet, one day last spring I came in and the Store has taken on new life. Going in now, I feel like a low again. I highly recommend the Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies, but get there early or youll miss out.

Wish I had discovered this place early into college. They have very unique coffee/tea drinks and a wonderful little marketplace. Definitely check it out over starbucks, dunkin, or aromas. Thats if you like to change things up.

Been going to this place for 30 years. Recent physical upgrade really improves the atmosphere. The place to go if you want to know whats going on in town. Pumpkin Chocolate chip cookies to die for!

I love Ampersand! The atmosphere is very cozy and relaxing. Its much better than Aroma Joes or Nest. Also, its a family owned business which is definitely more ideal to support. They have great prices, like 2.75 for a 16 oz chai latte- with dairy free alternatives like soy and almond milk. My one gripe is that I wish they made more vegan baked goods. Ive heard great things about their blueberry muffins, but apparently they go pretty quickly in the morning, and Ive never gotten my hands on one. But, clearly the demand is there- please start making more!
