Bought a new dishwasher that I bought from a picture. It perfect! The guys that came and installed it were great!! So polite and considerate. Love A1 Appliance!!!

8/6/2021 Our freezer went out a week and a half ago leaving a small freezer to fit all the food in some I had to cook before hand today A-1 delivered our new freezer it is beautiful and the young men who came out took the old ref/frez out without a problem and put the new in like a breeze very efficient and courteous thank you so much for all your help and efficiency James and Lola Henry

My husband and I have been going to A1 for years. We get all of our appliances and coolers there. Ashleigh has helped us on multiple occasions. She is always very patient, kind, and knowledgeable with all of their products and she keeps us updated on the latest models. We are grateful for the amazing service that A1 provides every time we walk in the door.

If you want to build a relationship with a hometown business that offers competitive prices, knowledgeable showroom staff, and amazing after purchase service, this is where to go. One by one I have replaced my washer and all the appliances in the kitchen of the older home we purchased in Oroville, all from A-1 Appliance. Now they have upgraded their website so you can filter and compare makes and models so good just got even better. Today was another great purchase experience at A-1.

Update Wednesday, October 7, 2020:Ashley from A1 called and said she saw the review I posted and was sorry I did not have the outcome I wanted. I said thank you. She then said she would shred my check. I said thank you.Joe from A-1 appliance came out to repair my maytag bravos washer thst was showing an F51 code. He spent all of 40 minutes, titled it back, found some socks underneath it and claimed it was not working because I had overloaded it and distrubuted the weight unevenly. I had in the washer 2 table cloths, 4 place mats and 3 full size towels. He then proceeded to show me how to distribute the clothing evenly. Started the washer again said it sounded good did not wait for the cycle to finish said if it happened again to call him back. He then said they would not charge me the service fee only the part price. He said if his fix didnt work it was probably a sensor that costs $500. I asked how long a washer should last he said 7-12 years. He was on his way. The load finished. I washed another load, same error came up. Long story short my husband watched some youtube videos, we took apart the washer and a wash cloth was caught in the sensor area. We spent $99.95 to be told if that it was an uneven load. I have been using a washer for over 30 years. Thanks for nothing A-1 appliance. I gave one star because they arrived in the time frame I was quoted. Do yourself a favor and fix it yourself.

My moms refridgerator was running warm so called A-1 Appliance. The lady answering and scheduling the repair was very pleasant and helpful.Tom came out to check the problem. He was very polite and professional He fixed the problem and explained all that was going on. A big thank you to Tom. I would recommend A-1 as the go to appliance repair company.

Price was decent for washer dryer set. About a year after purchase the washer quit draining. Waiting for weeks for A 1 to fix on the warranty. Sent one guy out who didnt know how to diagnose and was on the phone with someone else. Next guy broke the part he was replacing. Now we have to wait another week for the next attempt. Washer has been down for almost a month now.

Absolutely a pleasure to wall into. Amazing employees and truly caring owners. If you pass these guys up then there is something wrong with you 😂

Went in to get a part for a dryer. I had already found the exact part on amazon for $30 but decided to give a local business a shot before ordering.To their credit, they had the part in stock. Long story short, when I told them I can get the correct GE part overnighted for $30 from amazon, they claimed it wouldnt have the right bracket and wouldnt fit right. They claimed some online repair site was the only place online with quality parts and would match their price for $65.I tried to let them know a simple amazon search brings up the factory GE part, but the sales man got very defensive and was rude about it. So... I ordered my part from Amazon. It fit perfectly. It works like a champ, and I paid $30 for it. Had A1 not been rude and worked with me to come to a reasonable price, I would have bought it from them.Looking for a part? Save your time and money, do your research, and order online. Skip these guys.

I am VERY happy w the service I received from A-1 appliance on 2/4/14. My dishwasher was holding water and James ( service repairman ) discovered the problem quickly and moved the garbage disposal hose which fixed the problem. He was very professional and polite and I would be happy to call on them again as well as refer their business to others.

I have done business with A1 in Oroville several times and I like their personal service and their prices are very competitive with the big box stores and I love their scratch and dent sale. They also have better installers than the big box stores for those tricky installs. Would buy again from them.

Jason personally greets me and promptly tells me they do not have what I am looking for. 5 months ago I stopped by and said I was looking for a barbecue. He informed me they dont sell barbecues, try home depot. I ordered a Rec Tec online. Its superior to Traeger which they are a dealer but dont sell, at least to me. Today I called, spoke to the service department and arranged to purchase an ice bucket for my cooler. When I arrived Jason quickly greeted me again, and yes I was a little horrified inside to ask if I needed help. And yes, he promptly told me they do not sell ice buckets. Im not sure why Jason doesnt want me in their store, but I get it. I will not return.How you have better luck if you choose to risk it.

Called with a broken oven issue and they are sending people out in less than 48 hrs. Super friendly and accommodating.

I ordered a used stove to be delivered and they wont even bring it in the house! I have to pay an additional $65 and thats to install it but they wont use your existing gas line you HAVE to use their $30 hose line. What a joke I paid for it to be delivered not dropped off in my driveway. When I bought the stove I was told they would bring it in now its aomesomet different. This Bs is why small business can go down quock. I should have just ordered mine from home Depot for 100 more

I have done buisness with A-1 for over 20 years, thousands of dollars worth. So I sent my fridge in to have it repaired and they said they did, charged me $180 to haul it in fix it and send it back, When I got it back they had not fixed it, would not refund my money and told me they couldnt do anything for me. Im taking my buisness elsewhere. I expected more for being a loyal customer than being ripped off. It seems that as long as your giving them money they are happy to take it but when something goes amiss they are not willing to work with you. I will not do buisness with them anymore. My advice is skip this buisness as they dont stand behind their work. If they cant stand behind their work, they stand for nothing.
